I love have they have the option of paying with someone at this little kiosk instead of waiting in line for a cash register. Only thing is they don't do cash, but not many people pay in cash these days. I enjoy this location but wish there was still some order or some sort in the sales racks. I do wish there were more people on the floor floating around offering help. There never is anyone around when I need them. I go here because being tall also means bigger feet and I am an 11 and can never find size 11 cute shoes but here I'm always able to and almost always buy a pair I don't need just because they have it in my size lol. read more

So much for customer service-- I found a pair of shoes that I feel in love with and they had put a sensor on one shoe. When I paid for them and they removed the sensor it left a hug indentation on the shoe. The manger refused to discount because of their sensor and did not offer any resolution. Stated "maybe that is why they were discounted". And walked away! Nice! Watch what you buy with sensors on it! read more

Love the prices and selection of items but I work in a retail store and I know all the things the employees do when they think someone is going to steal and many of those tactics were being used with me. I was being followed and watched! I was going to try some clothes on and obviously I left my accessories from Nordstrom out with the lady with glasses that was working the fitting room. I had 2 shopping bags with me from previous stores and she was asking me if I could leave them with her.. You see I would have been okay with leaving them even though at my job, the customers CAN take their shopping bags purchased from other stores in with them since it's their items. i would have been okay leaving my bags out there until I saw 2 ladies walk out of the fitting room with like 5 shopping bags!! I asked the lady why didn't she have them leave theirs? And she replied with "oh I barley started my shift, i didn't let them" BS!!!! I literally saw her and she was working the fitting room at the same time I came in!! What a shame. It was a older lady with glasses and shoulder length hair. Really disappointed read more

I just feel like this Nordstrom Rack is so hot and cold. Sometimes I come in and there are too many good things that I want and it is a really great nightmare. But other times I come in and it is slightly dirty, crowded, and things are hard to find and there isn't really anything that great. Almost everytime I have come there have been decently long lines to purchase things. The service is also rather bipolar. I have come across some not so friendly workers here. BUT when I do find something.. it typically is a pretty good deal and there are some solid finds here. But I would say they are more rare than typical at this particular location. read more

I love shopping at Nordstrom Rack. I first learned about Nordstrom Rack several years ago from close girlfriends who are really good at hunting for designer clothes and shoes for a fraction of the original price. I've found a number of items for myself and gifts for friends. My tip for shopping at Nordstrom Rack is to browse the Clearance rack first. Everything marked with the red tags are at the lowest prices. The rest are discounted but deals aren't as good as the red tag ones. Whoa! Out of ALL of the Nordstrom Racks I've gone to, this place is stocked with a ton of name brand items. I've never found so many jeans at a great discount all at once! Joes, Sevens, Hudson, Paige... OMG yess! The place was organized, clean... clothes weren't on the floors everywhere like the other NR I've gone to. Sometimes I hate the lines at NR, but at this location they have people in lime green shirts walking around that you can bug to ring you up instead of standing in the long lines. I'm shocked at the ratings for this store...and trust me I don't give out 5 stars, unless I believe the business deserves it. There are a few hints that I can share that probably would help: a. I always come during the weekdays...it's less crowded which means faster lines, you can take your time shopping, no one is bumping into you, and most importantly there is no line for the fitting room! b. when there is a long line for the register, I try to look for the employees wearing the "we can check you out" shirts, because they literally will check you out as long as you have a CC and they email you the receipt. SO EASY c. if you have to come during the weekends, come when they open or before they close, it's always less crowded. I always find everything I need, and don't need, at this store. I like it more than the Brea location and after you're done shopping you can always have a drink at one of the restaurants at the block (and maybe even HH!) read more

Scored a perfect pair of bruno mali shoes. Came here on a chance as we were already at the orange outlet mall. The idea was to find some winter clothing, but I had to check out the shoe rack, of course. The only pair, in any size on the rack, and just happened to be my size... score! I've been checking out all the Racks in a 25 mile radius and this one is the worst for several reasons. 1. Less and more disorganized jewelry section. Also the prices are higher than at the other stores. I know this because they had the exact same earrings for DOUBLE what I paid at Cerritos. 2. Dirty changing rooms. I only went here once but they smelled -- odd. It was 7pm at night so maybe over the course of day it accumulated? But gross. 3. More damaged clothing than at other Racks. This Rack didn't even feel like a Ross or Marshalls. It felt like where all the torn up/missing buttons clothing from Nordstrom goes. I found several things I wanted to buy but were missing buttons, broken zippers, and missing essential items to wear the article of clothing. 4. Weird staff. Again maybe because it was 7pm but I asked questions and was met with very curt answers as though I was bothering them. This has never happened to me in any Rack before and I have gone when it was VERY busy at other stores. Overall, I will never be returning here and the whole ordeal made me feel icky. I did however go to the Off 5th (Saks outlet) and bought some make up there. They were so much nicer and helpful so it took the anti-shopping feeling out of my mouth. I'm sure this review will mean nothing in the long term for The Rack but at least I feel better knowing maybe I can help one other person have a better Nordstrom service experience. read more

Checked out this store for a second time over the weekend. The line was ridiculously long, but it moved at a decent clip. I was assisted by Joshua J who was apologetic about the line. As he was folding my clothes, I told him he didn't need to do that because I was just going to wash everything, but he explained that it's a way for him to double check for sensors and any abnormalities in the garment. He also applied a $5 discount which was a nice gesture. He was quick, friendly, generous and zero attitude. People need to realize you get what you give. If you're pleasant, retail workers (people in general) will be pleasant in return and might offer an unsolicited discount such as the one I received. Thank you! read more

I like going to this Nordstrom Rack from time to time. Their inventory is a bit better then the one in Cerritos but this place is a mess. Everything is just thrown all over the place. Parking is also tough if you come here during high peak hours. Valet is available. read more

Not really impressed by this location. Looks gigantic from the outside, but the Men's selection is not all that great compared to Metro Point in Costa Mesa. The shoe selection is meager, and I do not really like the individual boxes; I prefer to dig through the piles and piles on the shelves to hopefully find a gem! Though, you do not have to wait for the other shoe like CM. The Men's clothing section was also rather small. Nothing really special here, and not a whole lot of clearance stuff. 3 Stars. read more

Lines can get SUPER long! When this place opened up I was quite excited. They have a good selection of goodies for men. Their shoe racks were stocked up with good choices along with shirts and ties. But the thing that can get frustrating is the slow cashiers. I go here during my lunch break and the line can get pretty long pretty quick. Thats on a weekday, I am just imagining during the weekend. It seems like they don't have a responsive team where they can back each other up when the line starts to get long. Also, I have a super stupid gripe. I bought a pair of shoes that were an awesome deal. Stupid part, they put the sticker inside the shoe! They use stickers that have cut outs on them so when you try to peal the pricing sticker, it falls apart leaving itty bitty pieces. This is probably one of the better Nordstrom Racks that I have been to. It is always extremely clean and well organized. The staff is usually pretty helpful and friendly. This year for all graduations I went to, I purchased sunglasses. I went in last week to purchase the last pair of gift sunglasses and then I went to pay the cashier named Kristina said, "let me see if we have a Michael Kors sunglass case". That has never happened to me. Normally, I'll have to buy another sunglasses case. Apparently, they are supposed to offer anyone purchasing sunglasses a case, providing they have one available. Every time I go to this location, I usually end up with good items. There is a good selection of name-brand shoes, clothes and various other items. I'm usually in the shoe section. It is really hard to find great deals in size 6 shoes but this store hasn't failed me yet! The store is clean and the staff are friendly as well as helpful. Always on the more organized end than other nordstrom racks. I worked here years ago and still find it to be one of the better racks for finding great fashion items that you wouldn't find at other outlet stores of its caliber. Great brands, great service, and great selection. No familiar faces but they're all very friendly. The customer service at this location is pretty great. I'm actually really impressed with the amount of employees they have to assist. When I went yesterday there was also a handful of sale racks. I thought it might be junky but there were a lot of premium denim jeans on sale (and not just the AG crap you always see but don't want). I found a pair of Citizens of Humanity, size 31 for $75, original $220. I also snagged a great Obey tshirt for $4.80. There's a pair of J Brand jeans I parted with but it's probably still out there in a size 32 for anyone that likes a skinnier for! read more
