Yesterday, I went here out of boredom! I decided to do some shoe shopping since some of my converse looks like it was about to be ruined by the end of this summer. I found these shoes and saw that this has a big discount. My shoe sizes were below under two other boxes. I tried to pull out one of them, and one of the boxes nearly fell on me. I screamed and the two male employees asked me if I was ok. I reassured them and I got my shoes. This place is so student-discount friendly. Bought shoes for my daughter few months ago, and they got worn quick, asked them if I could bring it back for exchange, they replied of course as long as you bought from us, so I brought it back to them few days after with proof of purchase, the associate turned 180 degrees, he refused to acknowledge what they offered me, then I asked for the manager, he replied I am the manager, he was extremely rude and unprofessional, I said I will never return to this store again, and he said fine! I contacted corporate office to report him, and customer service online asked me to provide photos of the shoes so they can replace them for me, I would never recommend this store unless this manager is gone. read more

Jason working the evening shift helped me figure out which shoe size would be the best for me. I walked in and right away asked me if I had any questions. I asked him if they had any Converse Platforms in stock and he said at the moment they were out of stock. I told him that I was considering buying some, but I wanted to find out which size would fit best if I were to purchase them online. Came to this location to return a pair of 60 dollar shoes I had bought for my son. The manager had told me he wouldn't return due to it's condition. But when I had bought it, they told me as long as I have the receipt and proof I bought it from this location, they would return it no problem. My son wore it to school everyday for 2 months until the front of the sole started to rip. The manager would refuse to take it because the color was fading and it was dirty, but either way if it was super worn out, or if it just had a spec of dirt, the sole started to come apart and they would've threw it out either way so I don't see why he couldn't just return it. Don't be telling me it's okay to return it, then later refuse to take it! Okay, if he didn't want to take it, thats fine. But it's also the way he was communicating towards me. At first I never had a problem with him and I wouldn't be making this review if he hadn't had a very rude tone. He wasn't acting professionally and sort of took it as a joke. I saw a review on here with the same problem, same manager. Now I know I wasn't the only one in this horrible situation. Looking back it might've seemed like I was a karen, but seeing that people have gone through the same situation infuriates me. I also now know, I wasn't in the wrong. read more

I was on a mission coming here. I was only here for their pink low top chucks. I had come in a week before and they were regular price but didn't have my size. I think it was meant to be for me to come back when I did. Because guess what? The pink chucks were on sale!!! Heck yeah! So I got all excited and then a heavy weight of disappointment landed on my shoulders when they didn't have my size again. I was trying hard to squeeze into a smaller size but nope that wasn't working. I asked the front sales guy if they could check other stores. Nick and Cody helped me out. This store is located at the outlets at Orange. Small parking lot considering there are so many businesses. Just valeted as I did not feel like circling around for a parking spot. I was pleasantly surprised that there weren't that many people there for a Saturday afternoon around 1 PM. Citadel outlets in Commerce is worse than Disneyland on the weekends. There were only a handful of customers in the store, and they had a good selection of Chucks to add to my collection. I saw the white ones that I knew I wanted, but a burgundy pair also caught my eye. Thr sales associate (young Asian male) was very friendly and helpful. There was some kind of buy one get second pair at 50 percent off sale, but of course the second pair couldn't be one of the popular styles. I didn't really care, so I got the two pairs I wanted and proceeded to check out. At the last second I glimpsed the 10 percent off with student ID sign and took advantage of that, and when I got my total I saw that I got 10 percent off one of the pairs, and somehow I got the 50 off the second pair. I am happy. I will definitely return when I am in the area. read more

2014 YELP 365 CHALLENGE - 218/365 My boyfriend ONLY wears Converse, and we discovered this place during our first visit to the Orange Outlets. It is PERFECT for anyone who buys pair after pair of Converse, or just wants a really good deal! On average, regular Converse are around $44.95. At the Converse outlet, they have both regular/normal styles sold at that price (or whatever their standard price is), AND discounted pairs. The regularly priced items are all on the shelves of shoes that are stand-alone, in the middle of the store. All of the discounted shoes are on the back wall. It mostly consists of styles/colors that didn't sell that well and/or limited edition designs that they're trying to get rid of. I think most of the shoes are discounted $10 to $34.95. They have stickers on the shoe boxes stating their discounted price. We last visited this past Memorial Day Weekend, and I was pretty excited because they had a deal on most, not all shoes, for Buy One Get One Half Off. My boyfriend ended up getting his usual grey Converse, and I grabbed a pair off of the back wall that was listed for $34.95, but I got for $17 with the half off! It was super awesome and I am so excited about my first pair of Converse since high school! :P Overall, highly recommend for anyone who's interested in buying some Converse and saving a few bucks! read more

They get an extra star for normally good service and a great selection BUT last time I was there (late April) my girlfriend was treated really rudely by the f'ing manager of all people (SOB named Dominic). He actually got mad because we were buying our clothes- 3 items total- in 2 different transactions and lectured her that we were "creating more work" for him! F you! When my patients come into the office it "creates more work for me" too...thats why without them i wouldn't have a job. Guess what? That's what you get paid for, jackass! Even if we decided to buy 50 things in 50 different transactions, the manager of a clothing and shoe store getting mad at customers FOR BUYING CLOTHES AND SHOES is totally unacceptable. Beware of this store ! They double charged my bank card $365. I had an exchange as well so I ask the sales agent what happened ? She said the credit card terminal was broken and was double charging Credit Cards with chips (mine didn't have a chip) ? I ask why they didn't fix it or put an out of order sign on it before inconveniencing their customers. My bank had already deducted the extra $365 out of my account. She was very rude and said she didn't believe it ? So I showed it to her in real time from on my phone. She had nothing to say after that though (except act really getto with her co-worker) as if it was my fault for bringing up a $365 double charge ? The manager needs to be terminated for inconveniencing dozens of customers with a broken Credit Card terminal. The rude sales agent needs to fired as well for pretending like everything was fine and then confessing to the fact this has happened many time before. This is the first I have ever been double charged at a mall outlet store. I thought the Converse Brand was trustworthy ? I guess not. read more

I don't know what this other reviewer is talking about, I had a great experience here. They were having a big sale and I was getting ready to move out of the state so I swung by. One of the shift leaders, Amanda, was more than willing to help me out. She told me what styles were popular right now, what guys go for (I wanted to surprise my fiancee with a pair of shoes), and she was really patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind on what color shirts and shoes I wanted. The store was really clean and picked up - every shoe box was in place, it was perfect for my OCD haha. There was another associate but I don't remember their name, but they were still busting their butt to make sure the store stayed nice and they said hi to everyone that walked in their store. The heavy set Latina female with the "my upper lip smells " look is definitely an example of how a manager should not act. I had informed another employee of two boxes of shoes I liked and placed them on the bench so she wouldn't put them back while my bf looked for a pair but when I came back a min later they were gone........the manager with that "bad smell look" so rudely chimed in saying we don't babysit shoes and they can hold them up front. Funny thing is she had a box hidden over in the size 6 area on side of rack when they were size 9. Ridiculous really......then proceeded to glare at us from the corner of her eye while she folded already folded shirts. Her presence is just uncomfortable and irritating. When she talks it's passive aggressive and condescending. Another coworker had initially informed us that our exchange on an item was ______amount but then when I went to buy the shoes the manager straight up hid from me like a child she than said the exchange amount would be half the amount the first worked said with her witch like grin. Honestly at that point I didn't feel right about giving this negative Nancy my money or business even if I really liked those shoes. For a manager she was very unprofessional, rude, no customer service skills and above all no qualities of a leader (Well a good one that is) you can feel the negativity and bad vibes that string down from her. Sad thing is that nothing will probably change and she will continue to loose my business, my bfs and everyone that I usually gift from here. It was my first time heading over to the store today visiting from an hour away from where I live and when I came in everything was fine at first I was excited to shop for my brothers birthday gift which I found but then I needed help looking for a certain size for another shoe I was trying to get because it's buy one get 60% any shoes besides those that had a tag on it. I went around to look for an employee and found this guy which I don't know his name but his asian, has short hair, and wears glasses but the moment I came in the store and I saw him I didn't feel welcome from his presence by the way his body language showed off whenever I was around him but so when I was looking around to see which worker wasn't busy which by the way they had these three guys who work at the store and instead of helping the customers and doing their job they were chatting and laughing which is totally horrible customer service but back to the guy I asked him if the shoes I'm looking for is available for a shoe size I'm trying to look for and which one I wanted particularly and he said that he will check for me so he goes back to the backroom where they kept their shoes and he came back out helping out another customer which I didn't mind that's his job but then he went back to the backroom and came back out to the floor and I thought he would had my shoes that I asked for he then instead walks passed me and my friend and we waited for 25 minutes and turn out what happened is he totally left us hanging without saying anything and was at the front desk checking out customers which I then got pretty upset about because he could of at least told us something instead of leaving us with nothing but I gladly got helped from another worker named Helen and she was very helpful as in trying to find the shoes I'm trying to look for and found it for me which I'm so happy with but other than all the workers there she's definitely an awesome worker, willing to help out anyone at anytime, very positive and nice and deserve much more better than working at this shoe place. read more
