Ah! It was heaven walking into this huge store with super cold ac running after being sweaty in the previous store with no ac on a super hot afternoon. The store has huge inventory of sneakers shoes, in all different brands! And it's amazing how much Skechers shoes they carry, compared to the actual Skechers store a few doors over. I ended up spending over 2 hours in there and found 2 pairs of Skechers sneakers. Off-Broadway (now Rack Room Shoes) has the Buy One Get One 50% off all year round. I love getting shoes from this place! Great selection of new shoes that are affordable and good quality. I ALWAYS do the Buy 1 and get the 2nd one half off. It's a very clever and smart business move they did with that. My work shoes always need to be replaced every 7 months due to how much I walk and run around at my job. So I go here to Broadway Shoes. They always have my size and plenty of variety and selection of shoes to choose from. This time around I got my new Fila non-slip work shoes and another pair of casual Adidas which I really like. I always walk out of here with 2 pairs of shoes haha. Huge store with plenty of selection. I got a pair of Cole Haan shoes for $70.00 and saw those same exact shoes at Bloomingdales for $160.00. I have a lot of mixed views about this place, and that's ok. I walked in here today to see if I can find the nicest shoes since a lot of the shoes I have tend to wear down after months of using them. I also know that this place sells more converse shoes of various designs than the converse store on the other side of the Outlets. I walked in here, and I was able to find the aisles with the Converse shoes. I found one called Pink Frosting/Black/White. The shoes were so good and it has really pretty designs. It would make any pink girly go crazy over this. So I ended up purchasing it Since I opened up an account with this place a few months ago, I ended up getting a 20% discount on the shoes, and I got to say, it was a fair price. read more

Then I went looking for some new tennis shoes and was met by an amazing person named Stephanie. She made sure I got exactly what I wanted. False advertising. BOGO get one 50% off is a scam. They have these red signs all over the place. The pricing on their shoes are more than what every retailer is charging, but their gimmick makes it a fair price when buying 2 pairs of shoes. I went shopping here and spent time finding 2 pairs of shoes. At checkout, it was informed that the shoes I picked were "excluded" from the BOGO 50% off discount. There was absolutely no indication that they were excluded on the signs in the store. The store should really make it clear which over priced shoes do not qualify for the discount. read more

Ashley was amazing yesterday. While checking out, she was being so positive, kind, and sweet. She saw that I was clearly stressing about where to go next and if I had enough gifts and her kind words really instilled in me. Been to other locations before and it has always been pleasant and clean. But this location wasn't so great. I only saw one employee working the floor whom I had to track down. He was very nice but busy. And one of the girl working the register had an attitude. She would just disregard whatever I was saying to her and felt like I was talking to myself. Never seen anyone working the register and not answer nor talk to the customer that they are ringing up. I would never go back to this location. read more

This review goes out for Stephanie, who was at the cash register when I purchased my son's shoes. Provided such great customer service since the beginning, very friendly, had just a great attitude was very helpful, answered all my questions, was very patient with me. She also helped me purchase my son's shoes online since it was not available in the store, she checked other stores for me since I needed them by Monday. She verified all my information and the size of the shoes. I'm a mom of 4 kids and money can be tight sometimes she was also kind enough to look up my information to see if I had any coupons or points and she did I had $10 of birthday coupon. Too me she literally went above and beyond. I left very happy and satisfied from the store. I don't usually shop there but I will definitely be returning and referring my friends and family. When you go in store their shoes are already higher than at the brands store. They have the 50 off like a bogo on their tags and right when you get to the register they tell you otherwise and employees are rude about it. Just came in to browse around with no intent to purchase. Huge variety of shoes from dressy to casual. Prices vary, especially by manufacturer. But there some pretty good sales. Still a little too steep. I focused on looking for dress shoes for work. Looked at a pair of Cole Haan's that were still over $100. I usually got for shoes like Bass that are comfortable and affordable, usually around the $50 value. Their clearance aisles didn't really have any dead shoes I liked and it was a very small selection. The store is pretty organized. No one really greeted me when I walked in or asked if I needed any assistance while I was walking around. I asked if they were placed there by accident. The gal at the front said they were not misplaced, and the shoes were on clearance. Asked her to explain bc that didn't make sense... They can't be clearance if they're the same as the original price. She again insisted they were clearance, bc they were the LAST pair of that shoe and therefore moved to the clearance section. Still confused and asked her to explain again, which she did. She was nice enough, I just said that doesn't make sense. That just means they're the last pair of that shoe at the original price, but moved to the clearance section... To which she confirmed that is their policy and they do that with every "last pair" of a shoe. Wtf?! Honestly felt like a Seinfeld episode. read more

Shoes were also made in China, India & Vietnam. None were made in the USA. All of the shoes were popular American brand names - not one manufactured here in the USA. If our President and GOP Congress decides to tax Mexico or have a trade war with the other countries, will the prices go up accordingly? Will we still have the wide selection ? Honestly this store needs to get their employees on the same page. I have really low expectations when it comes to customer service because I'm willing to do most of the work as long as they ring me up. But for a simple "2 for 1" deal, the employee ringing me up charged me THREE TIMES by mistake. I had to dispute the charge at the bank and wait for them to refund me. I was okay with this at first (an honest mistake although REALLY inconvenient) But I wanted to exchange one of the shoes that was originally $89 dollars (the cashier told me to find an item with a lower value) I finally found some for around $70 and the manager denied me the exchange saying that now I had to find one that was less than $54 ?? I've wasted days of my personal time (calling the bank, calling the store, looking for shoes for no reason apparently) because of employee miscommunication and mistakes. read more

Just went shopping and this place is a must go to get shoes. Have many varieties of options to choose from for all ages. Many brands like converse, vans, fila, Nike, sketchers. The clearance sections had plenty of good options of all sizes to choose from too. My aunt got high heels for $20 reduce from $40 after the sale. Sometimes you hit the jackpot and sometimes you pay regular discounted prices but it's still low. I ended up getting an amazing pair of Filas for only 50 bucks. It's usually $70. At 11:45 on Saturday, 10/13, I was shopping at this store for shoes. I found the ones I wanted, but in the wrong size, so went to the cashier to ask if they could order them for me. When I joined the line, I noticed one cashier behind the counter helping a customer, while another employee (a tall young man with curly topped hair) just STARED at the screen on the register for several minutes. He didn't type anything or take notes. He just stared. And the line wasn't moving. After standing in line for a few more minutes watching this guy do nothing, I saw a third employee step up to another register to help the folks in front of me. That employee did not smile for her customers or greet them. She made no eye contact. Now, I had considered buying my shoes online to save myself some money, but doing so didn't seem fair to this local brick-and mortar store that paid its lease, staffed the store, and stocked the shoes --- albeit in the wrong size. But after standing in line for several minutes watching these apparently uncaring employees, I left the store and did just that: bought the shoes online on the company's website. Off Broadway Shoes in Orange: I know its been hard lately to recruit enthusiastic employees in these days of low unemployment, but try to at least provide some guidance to your current staff. There is a wide selection of men's shoes here with a discount section that sometimes has a really good deal. All the shoes are well organized and the store is orderly and it's easy to find what you're looking for. Unfortunately after having been here many times the service is mostly poor, often the employees and even the manager will ignore customers or have a bad demeanor. I get it people have bad days, but it happens consistently at this store. Although there are employees who are great here. On my last visit there was a lady who couldn't for the life of her get anyone to help her, she kept politely saying excuse me to an employee who kept acting like she couldn't see her and would avoid the aisle she was in. Yes I'm serious lol. When I went to check out the girl at the counter spent a good 10 seconds chewing her thumbnail without saying a word before acknowledging anything. I had to ask if she was still working. The customer service doesn't have to be amazing but it should at least be decent. IT'S A-OK. Large store with a variety of shoes for most occasions. Good solid prices for name brand shoes like Nike. The shoes were ordinary everyday type shoes. Nothing really stood out though. I've had good experience in the past with DSW Designer Shoes which has a similar concept. Nothing really enticed me to try anything on. There is a possibility that it is just an off season for them. I will check in at a later time to see if the inventory has more appealing choices. That's the thing about sales and good deals, it takes an investment of time and being there at the right time. Normally, I LOVE going to the Off Broadway Shoe place and I've had positive experiences with the ones in Los Angeles and Hollywood. However, this OC location, my experience was not so much. First off, I find a pair of shoes that I adore and then found a pair to just compensate for their whole 50% off sale that they had going on. I go to the register to make my purchase. The sales lady greets me and then rings me up. The first pair of shoes were incorrect in price and I proceed to tell her that I do believe these were on sale. She tells me, no they aren't they are this price. I tell her again, are you sure because I saw the price was different than what you rang up. And she said EMPHATICALLY, "No it's this price, you're mistaken." I'm thinking maybe my old eyes have deceived me and I maybe wrong, but since I love them so much, I'm going to purchase them. After said purchase, this continued to bother me so I go to another floor person to help me out and ask, could you tell me the price of these shoes and sure enough, they were the sale price that I told the sales lady before I bought these. We both promptly went back to the register of the store manager instead of the sales lady and refunded the cost. However, to this day, that refund has yet to show up on my account. I'm still waiting on it. My point in this. The sales lady (in dealing with customer service) should have not taken this at face value and should have took the extra initiative to see if this was indeed the price that the customer quoted instead of relying on the scanner due to an incorrect sku. I'm very disappointed in this location and very disappointed as an Off-Broadway Shoe shopper. I will not be visiting this location again when I am in Orange County. read more

Keeping up with Kim Kardashian's tush. I am trying to keep my tush perky so I got shape up shoes here. The place looked so familiar I think I went there before. I got lost in the moment. So many shoes and I only have two feet. One foot for my running shoe and the other one for my high heel. This time I was determined to get running shoes. I wanted to get this very cool and light unusual Converse but they didn't have my size. So sad...but then I saw these cool and sexy Skechers. I couldn't find my size for the color I wanted so I ended up buying a different color. Not the cheapest price but the price wasn't bad. You could buy matching shoes with your honey. The workers were friendly; they offered help and they were super nice. I also got 10 percents credit I could use for my next purchase, but I could only use it starting on the day after my purchase. This place reminds me why I love to buy shoes online: TO AVOID THE STUPID STAFF. Me, Mr.Q and two other family walking into the store at the same time and the security alarm beeps. One curly haired short brunet walks towards to us and look at all of us. The other two family just walk past her without even looking at her when she was talking, I gave her a polite smile and she suddenly increased her voice. She: " Ma'am, walk with me. I need to see what's in your bag?" Me:" Excuse me, as you see, I just came into the store". She felt confident:" Just come with me, we need to see what's in your bag." Me"!?!??#?%". The security guy walks slowly to us and mumbled that the door is sensitive lately. She lost her confidence in her voice:" It's okay, you don't have show me your bag, you have to walk out that alarm system anyway." me:"?!!?!?!?" I lost my shoe craving already, so I walk out the door a.s.a.p. and the alarm didn't beep at all. Lesson learned: Never be too nice to a sales person, especially when their alarm goes off. I walked into this store limping. I'd had 4 trips in two weeks to Houston, Portland, Las Vegas and Orange. My feet were killing me and the next day was Disneyland. Uh-oh. We were meeting family for dinner and I had twenty minutes to find something comfortable that would fit my strange size feet. (9.5 E). Yeah, right. Jenny waited on me, and said she'd go find something flat, comfortable, my size, that had some style. I didn't hold out much hope, being that I know my size is odd and hard to find anything that doesn't pinch, rub or feel awful. JENNY IS WONDERFUL! JENNY brought me about 8 pairs of shoes and sat me down, and handed me box after box. I ended up purchasing not 1, but 2 pairs because they felt so good I couldn't believe it. The next day I wore my brand new Clark's to Disneyland (14 hours!) and they were great. No blisters and I never complained once all day that my feet hurt. Go to the clearance section in the back! You can find some really good heels/shoes for a good price. They have a lot of selections of shoes and heels. The shoes that are not in clearance isn't that cheap but I only shop in the clearance section. Also when you buy a pair of shoes, they actually give you some money back. It is printed on the bottom of your receipt and it will work the next day and never expire. DO NOT cut it off your receipt. It will only work with the whole thing so keep it in your purse and when you come back use it! LOL. Happy Shopping! read more

Headed in expecting not to find anything for an upcoming event, but to my surprise I found a few, and narrowed it down to one - at a remarkable 80% off! I found it in the clearance section - I am beginning to love these sections as you don't know what gems you might find! Hubby couldn't tsk tsk me for my purchase either, as he found a nice pair of dress shoes for himself at a reasonable price :) However I couldn't rave too much about the customer service. At first one shop assistant was nice and tried to help me look, but when it came time to paying, the assistant there was a little less-than-friendly... almost.... bored? I came in this store during my hour lunch break today, found two great pairs of shoes for work at the buy one get 1/2 off the second pair. Good deal that I couldn't pass up. Standing in line behind several customers, fine. The big issue that I had that waisted my entire time and energy was the cashier waited until it's my turn to tell me that all of the registers' systems are down and cannot take any cards. I was told that I can walk out to a near by ATM to get cash. NO. A sign should of been posted either at the counter or on the door of the store so customers time are not waisted! I am pissed. I do not have time to now go to an ATM to than return to wait in line all over again to pay in cash. What a waste and disappointment. I walked away with no shoes and lunch time waisted. Empty handed.
