Came in looking for some shoes to wear to my wedding. I found a nice pair at a decent price. I had left my wallet in the car and asked the lady at the register if she could hold them for a little bit but right away with a stank face she said NO! We dont hold stuff! I said ok and walked out to get my wallet anyway. As I walked out she threw the shoes on the floor with attitude. Not sure what her deal was but she obviously does not have customer service skills. I really did not want to go back at that point but I did really like the shoes. I returned with my wallet and Angela helped me out. She was very nice and helpful. She found the shoes I had left and rang me up. To the lady with the crazy blonde Goku hair, learn how to treat customers, I know it doesn't hurt your pocket directly but im sure management would hate to lose customers due to your poor or lack of customer service. read more

The amount of shoes at this location surprised me. The men's section is huge, but that is nothing compared to the women's. The best part is that they have a decent amount and variety of larger women's shoes 11-13. I also noted the men's had up to size 16 shoes. I liked the vast amount of Vans shoes in the men's section, all $30 or less. Considering there's a Vans store around the corner with the same shoes up to $10+ more, this is a steal. Clothing-wise it's a bit pricey.The women's plus-size was lacking in variety and very limited with anything over a 2x. Checkout could have been better. It would have been quick if I wasn't being pushed into getting a store debit card. Why does EVERY store have their own card now? Overall, my first NR experience was okay. Clean store. I would give "negative" star if I could. I love to shop at Nordstrom rack and have been to many different locations especially in OC/LA, and today was the most rude, disrespectful, and awful staff I ran into. My mom, 6 year old daughter, and I stopped by here to shop. We were at the women's shoe isle, and my daughter was between my mom and me looking at this shoes on the shelf and accidentally dropped off to the ground. She picked it up and put it right back to where it fell from. This staff who was supposedly organizing the isle stared at my daughter from the shoe falling to picking up and walked away with head shaking as he was very irritated. I couldn't stand on the disrespectful treat from the staff especially when my daughter didnt do anything wrong. So I asked him if my daughter made you feel so upset just because she accidentally dropped the shoes in front of you while you are organizing? And what I got from him was, he didnt get upset, he can shake off his head if he wants to, and she (my daughter) did not have to touch every shoes in the shelf. -VERY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL TO CUSTOMER. I dont get what makes him to think it is okay to treat the customer in those manner. I then told him she didnt purposely dropped it and put it right back to the place and what makes you feel so bad about it where you need to shake head off in front of customer. I even asked his name to report and he refused and told me "go right ahead and talk to manager!!!" What a day for me at this Nordstrom rack. I couldn't talk to him any more because at that point I get that he REALLY does need to be retrained as a SALES ASSOCIATE and NEED TO LEARN ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE from very bottom. I went to the manager and talked about the issue I had with him. I was told that she will talk to him and apologized to me, not to my daughter. I still left with upset feeling and never gonna coming back here. Ps. Just realized that the most of the negative reviews here are related to poor customer service the people experienced with sales associates. I visited a Nordstrom Rack a few weeks ago to return an item. I was fortunate enough to have Yaereli N. service me (note my sarcasm). Without checking the system and scanning my item, Yaereli told me I could not return my item since it was past the return policy date. I told her I had about a week left before reaching the end of the return policy timeframe. She told me she was certain I could not return the item. I quickly did the math for her in my head and aloud and explained to her the amount of days I had remaining in the return policy. She then proceeded to pick up a calculator and attempted to do the simple math herself. She was hesitant and would not except my item for return. I had to convince her to double check with the computer and let the computer make that decision. VIOLA! My item was eligible for return. I nicely asked Yaereli why she gave me such a difficult time to return the item when it was eligible for return to begin with. "You only had a couple days left to return it anyways," she snidely responded. She didn't apologize for misinforming me, wasting my time, or being a challenge to work with. After the entire debacle, she still proceeded to stand her ground and provide dismal customer service. She couldn't even acknowledge her wrongdoing. I think this is a great learning and teaching opportunity for Yaereli as there is much room for growth. read more

I absolutely love Nordstrom Rack!! I can get designer jeans for an unreal price and they have a nuce sekection of handbags. Jason at checkout has exceptional customer service skills, was super helpful, and even convinced me to open a Nordstrom rewards card. The mobile checkout is also really helpful as lines can be a tad long. I highly recommend coming here first before spending double the price at Nordstrom full line. read more

My order from the store in nordstroms Rack in this location is a nightmare They had me wait for 3 weeks without a word on what's going on with my order. Finally I got tired of waiting the dress I ordered which was promised to arrive within the week never arrived. Tired of waiting I decided to call the store. First they had me wait for 10 mins. Then they said it had been shipped out and when it's shipped out its out of their hands. Naturally I was pissed then they passed me to a lady called Amber who as well said she found my order but it showed it was not shipped. But she was having luisor Luisa San Jose check on my order. I asked to speak to San Jose she said San Jose was out. Today Amber calls me to say they found my order it's from out of state, hello I know it's coming from out of state. Then now she will email me the phone number of the store where and whom I can follow up with for my order because it shows it's been shipped via USPS. Crazy good deals going on here, I love this place they have a huge shoe selection and a ton of workout clothes for insane prices, The store looks as new as it is and everyone seems to be pretty helpful and friendly, Let me tell you im not a big clothes shopper but this place is hard to get out of without spending a ton, but its alright you will get alot for that money. This new location has been refreshing and up to the standards laid out by typical Nordstrom stores in the mall. They always have a large selection to choose from with staff always ready to help. The fitting rooms have been well kept and clean. The shoe department is smaller than other Nordstrom Rack locations but otherwise full of decent styles. Don't forget to ask staff if they have a checkout gun so you don't have to wait in long lines. read more

Just called Groupon, groupon called the credit department of Norstrom Rack, and verified my husband's unused, expired $50 groupon is redeemable at any Norstrom Rack, or refund same amount paid to groupon account, but yesterday during my very 1st visit here, I had to wait for a long time, after the green shirted cashier, appologized not familiar in redeeming groupon, especially the expired one, then after a very long wait for this black shirted supervisor, she was even more clueless, had to call someone, after another long wait, she kept telling me it was redeemed, I repeatedly told her, it's NEVER redeemed, how could it be redeemed, if it shows as expired on my cell, and also redeemable on my phone, it's definitely NOT redeemed, she was not listening at all, kept telling me it was redeemed, absolutely furious, I left the stuff which took me a while in selecting, I wish I wasn't that furious, I should ask her to write down her name, so I can file a complaint to Norstrom Rack NOW. The rack as a whole can be a great place to find items that moved from Nordies down to the rack. This rack not so much. I get its retail you deal with a ton of bs on a daily basis, but this place is by no means representative to the customer services I have received at Nordies. To be quite honest it is a huge disappointment. I have become a watch guy recently, and aside from my few really expensive watches, I have turned into a fan of Nixon and Diesel. Well I recently purchased a square oversized Diesel down in San Diego, but decided it just wasn't for me. The thing about the rack is you have to pretty much be willing to buy things to return or you probably won't see them the next time you go. So to set the scene the watch was untouched and unsized yet they gave me a really hard time saying I had to return it to san diego. The problem was the watch had been resized at some point, but it was not by me. Now I'm an honorable person if I had done something to it i would agree, but this was not the case. I go down to SD often, but I am by no means going just to return a watch. That is just bogus in my opinion. Just as a heads up to Nordies rack, if you are going to be a..holes about inspecting items then get some better quality control to make sure they are not resized before you sell them. I see people return all sorts of stuff, and some of the associates just deaf. I look at things before i buy them, but I am not like ok let me make sure the links are in the correct order. That is not my job to do that kind of stuff. At the end of the day the return was granted, but way to embarrass me and point the finger at me for something that I did not do. I love to have my integrity questioned by sales associates that have no idea who I am. Needless to say this is definitely not the Nordies Rack to buy from. Go to Brea or South Coast, the people are much nicer. read more

I also go here for gym clothes. You can get lucky and find 65 to 80% off stuff that has been sitting there for a while. However, I just came to return it all except one necklace. A good go to place with a good selection of clothing, accessories, and shoes. Small size shoe selection not as good as other Rack locations but still has a fair amount of good finds. Start with the designer shoes section, it is very organized and they carry sufficient smaller shoe sizes such as, size 5,5.5, and 6. Accessories area is well-lit, clean, and easy to get around. This store is in the OC, yet they still have clothes in size xs on the clearance rack which is a miracle in my opinion. The workers are nice and helpful but never pushy. The only difficulty I encountered was the regular shoe section that comes with very high shelves which could be problematic for my 5'2 height. Overall, I really like this place and would recommend it to anyone who lives near or is visiting the area. read more

They have a pretty large shoe collection and the aisles are much more spacious/less messy than than the other Rack stores. The store is less busy than the one in Costa Mesa and checkouts are much easier because they have cashiers who can ring you up with mobile registers. Hard worker bees! Smiley employees who are helpful and who seem not only to enjoy working there, but also like, actually look for ways to be helpful! They wear the clothes, go above and beyond the call of duty to find what you're looking for and are patient. Steven needed new dress shoes, but he was pressed for time and sent me to find and buy black leather shoes. The employees looked for a specific model and then waited with me while I looked online for something comparable. Just unusually generous with their time. I love Nordstrom Rack. This one very clean and organized. I also saw lots of things that I don't normally see in Sacramento. The customer service was good and i was asked if i needed help lots of time. You can find lots of brand name stuff for cheaper than it normally is in other stores. But remember it's discounted, but it may be regular price to some people. This is if you like the name brand stuff. This also have home and hair products. i usually buy facial stuff, but this time they had make up too, which i never knew. read more
