Great deals abound on a number of your favorite designers. The sales aren't as large or as regular as Off 5th and Last Call, but the designers don't start as pricey either. This location is very good, but not my favorite. I hope their new debit card program will become as good of a deal as Target's program. read more

My daughter told me about Nordstrom Rack when I moved to California about a year ago and I've become a regular shopper (although not as regular as my daughter I'm sure lol). A few weeks ago, I was actually here with my daughter when she found a Michael Kors leather jacket that she loved on clearance but not in her size. She asked a sales associate for help and I was super impressed with how helpful she was. She found the jacket in my daughters size & preferred color at another store out of state and arranged to have it shipped directly to her house. She was polite, friendly and helpful. A shining example of the kind of customer service Nordstrom prides itself. I'll now be a loyal customer for sure! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I have shopped at nordstrom for years and never have I had such a horrible experience like this one. While I was shopping they kept playing this message over the PA about looking for someone with a green shirt who would be able to check me out. After I was done I looked around for a person in a green shirt and couldn't find anyone. I found a sales associate and he said he would be able to help me out and find someone. I'm pretty sure he paged for someone at least ten times and nobody showed up! He had me waiting for twenty minutes before telling me that nobody was available! Then he told me I had to be rung up in the front. By this time the line was wrapped in the aisle. I told him how he kept me waiting and all he could do was say sorry there isn't anything I can do. Shopping here and the other outlet stores here is addictive. It doesn't reward me every time, especially since they are often out of anything but the large sizes. When I do find a blouse or pants that fit, I snap it up and feel good because I didn't break my budget. The clothes are nice enough to wear to work so I like it better than shopping at budget stores. So I work at The Outlets and believe you me this Nordstrom Rack coming in was a big deal. The building was built months before they opened and it was a big tease because I could not wait for this opening. So finally the day has come when they were going to open to the public. They had security, Orange PD, Nordstrom employees from surrounding stores to prepare for the pluthera of people they were expecting. They had a drawing for a $2000 shopping spree and some golden hangers placed through out the store. You would win like $100 if you got a golden hanger. They had a food truck out there and a photo station it was all really cool. I think they did a great job. But guess what they had a line with over 1000 people waiting to get in so I just went to witness the madness and decided to go a few days later. I have finally gone in the store and its beautiful. The store is clean and new and has some pretty good merchandise. I am going back tomorrow to buy some Enzo heels and a jean jacket. They have 2 entrances which is different. I like the lay out and can not wait to go back tomorrow. I have a Nordie's credit card and its triple points time Yahoo! This may be the worst thing that has ever happened to my bank account. read more

I LOVE this store. A definite stop in if you are in the area. Parking DOES suck here so I suggest weekdays or early morning weekends. They offer a good selection of clothes for both men and women and a really good selection of shoes. I avoid the shoe area ALL the time as I know I'm going to walk out with 5 pairs of shoes that I don't need. I was shopping for outfits for a photoshoot and I pretty much found everything I needed here. They have elegant formal dresses, cute casual dresses, and casual wear. Right now (winter) is a great time to check out their coats! The men's section is always fully stocked with dress shirts, tshirts, jeans and neckties. And yes, you can check out anywhere in the store with a staff member wearing a green shirt. The problem is hunting these people down and getting them to do it. A lot of times they have been busy, hands full or running around the store. You kind of have to be assertive (yet polite of course). read more

The guy said "actually those are marked wrong they are $100, not $25" that's the priced marked and he peeled the tag off.... I said no thanks I'm not paying $75 more! Bad business! Today was my first visit to a Nordstrom's Rack store ever. I'm so disappointed. The reason I came in is because I received a gift card through the Verizon Rewards program. I picked out a pair of shoes and went to pay. I showed the cashier the card number and pin and it was obvious she didn't know what to do with it. She asked her supervisor about it and she immediately blew her off and said no those aren't working she has to call Verizon. She then came over to speak to me and repeated the same. I said but the number and pin are right here. She seemed frustrated and reluctantly entered the card information "to see if it works." Amazingly, the gift card worked. Wow what a shock. All she said was "Oh they must've fixed it." No apology for the delay and for dismissing my card. I work in customer service myself and would never treat a customer this way. I have no desire to return. The amazing customer service from Nordstrom everyone raves about definitely doesn't exist here. read more

I am writing this review about the deceiving and lying cashiers. I am very upset at what they have done. I was paying for my clothes when the cashier asked if I would like to sign up for the rewards program to get earn points with every purchase. I asked to make sure it wasn't a trick to get me to sign up for some sort of credit card because I know of a company that does that. He assured me that that wasn't the case. He asked for my social just to verify and I asked again to make sure he was not running my credit. He said no. So I finished up and he said I was signed up for the rewards program. Today about 10 days after I received a letter saying I was not approved for the Nordstrom debit card because of my credit score. I have been working on buildong my credit for the last year and now I have a hard inquiry on my report. I did not sign up for this! He lied both times I asked to make sure he wasn't running credit! I wish I saved my receipt so I can look up his name. I will be going in to complain tomorrow chrismas week because this is unacceptable. It is also irreversable on my credit report! I have never been this upset with an establishment before ever! read more

I love Nordstrom Rack and have been to pretty much all the locations in the LA/OC area, but this location is definitely the worst in the area. Because it's part of the Outlets, it's always really difficult to find parking and the place is not always the tidiest. Also, the associates here aren't as friendly/helpful as other rack locations. I recently went when there was 10+ customers in line, but a few of the SAs were just tidying up. When I went up to an SA to ask if she could check me out, she said she was busy and ran off. Furthermore, the female manager here is by far one of the rudest person I've ever met. Not only is she unhelpful, but she needs to learn some tact and better ways to communicate with customers. I once pulled up the wrong receipt on my phone and instead of handing it back to me and asking me if I had another receipt, she tossed my phone on the table and said "this isn't the right receipt" with a demeaning attitude. Horrible customer service and I'll definitely avoid this location! read more

Not the best store in the world, and not the worst. On my most recent visit I was confused as to where to wait for the checkout (I didn't see the small sign as the layout was very weird and you couldn't really tell where the line was since no one was waiting before me), and since there were registers on both sides I waited on the opposite side of where the line was "supposed to be". I was literally standing there for 5 minutes and they saw me standing there and waiting. Once a cashier opens up, I ask if they are open, and she goes "Yeah but the line's actually over there" with an attitude. You all saw me line up here and just thought I was admiring the view with merchandise in my hand? People got into the "correct" line after I had been waiting there so I was literally in the back of the line. I even apologized for waiting in the wrong line and was met with an eyeroll by the cashier that called me out and the whole time I was waiting in line she kept dogging me while ringing up another customer like I was going to fight her or I made her life miserable or something. I work in retail and if I see a customer waiting off to the wrong side, I ask them if they are ready to check out and promptly service them. Every single time I walk in here I am never greeted or assisted even though the workers see me. The customer service here sucks royally and is definitely a far cry from Nordstrom itself, but I love the deals so I come back from time to time. read more

Even though I am from Los Angeles, I never fail to visit this Nordstrom Rack whenever I go to The Block at Orange. I don't normally find any good deals here except for 2 separate occasions. The first one I found a Burberry Bridle house check medium tote bag for almost 1/3 of its original price!!! Whattttt?!!!!! Although it did say on the tag that it was refurbished, nevertheless, I walked out of there with a big grin on my face. How can you get a Burberry bag for that incredible price!!!! Yes!!!!!! The second instance was just 3-4 weeks ago. I wasn't even in the shopping mood. While I was going through the winter rack ( Yes, I am shopping for winter clothes for this coming winter!), my eyes almost popped out of their sockets. Holy molly!!!! I swear, I almost fainted. Lo and behold, on my hand was a North Face black vest for.......drum roll please.......$0.01!!!!! I AM NOT KIDDING!!!!! I surely didn't let go and went straight to the cashier! And I kid you not, the cashier was looking upset that I found an incredible deal! I could read her thoughts, saying, "Oh, bummer!!!! I wish that I was the one who found this!" Well, tough luck, my dear! I just proudly hand her the penny and walked out beaming with my loot! That was an amazing day! read more

Nice place to shop. They have lots of great items. Only thing is they have clothes all over the place which makes it not a fun atmosphere.

It is the worst store I been!!!! They ruined my daughters special event dress . We took a $230 dress for a simple alterations and the ruined the dress completely, it happened 2 months phone call plus phone call and no one had the courtesy to contact me, They need to be more responsible, be careful with your prom dresses don't trust this company. read more

I went in on Saturday and I went in wanting to buy a watch. My sister had visited this location and told me they had a good variety I was waiting while someone before me was buying a watch the lady was very nice and said she'd be with me as soon as she was done. I waited for a good 30 minutes and she noticed that I was still waiting so she called someone else she wasn't happy at all she didn't even say hi how are you sorry for the wait she had a stinky look on her face like if I had anything to do with her being at work getting paid. She opened the glass and said which one ? Like excuse you..my sister kindly asked her when they would get more she didn't respond as much as I wanted to ask she was having a bad day I tried 3 and walked away since she rolled her eyes when I said I wanted a fossil watch to my sister. I don't have time to correct people's customer service so if someone reads this please make sure tour customers get the service they deserve because it doesn't matter how you look act we all are humans we are all in that category. read more

This place has been added to the worst customer service. Horrible store to be a patron buying things from here. I was not prompted to get an e-mail version of a Christmas holiday purchase. So the manager chose not to issue me any help at all neither store credit. Their practice of running their store policies only benefits them. They could have scrutinize my pair of shoes as much as possible only to find them in pristine condition and unworn. All the tags are on and box on hand. I called the Nodstrom Rack Customer Care number as well. And the lady over the phone only reassured me that it is on the discretion of the store's manager. So last time I checked its all about the customer everywhere you go. This philosophy makes shoppers who have second thoughts about their purchases a window of opportunity to get their money back and feel good about their day then have a sense of good customer service that should ease any future purchases here. In essence iffy shoppers would of course shop again and keep their purchases. This practice here at this store does NOT care about their customers at the brick and mortar store level as well as the over the phone customer service phone they have listed on their main website. I will take my future shopping elsewhere. NO THANKS!!! read more
