Whenever you're at Nordstroms around lunchtime you have to try their Nordstrom Cafe located on the 3rd floor. All their paninis are delicious and perfectly crispy with a good combination of fresh clean ingredients that are nicely melted together with cheese and good flavorful sauce. Pretty much everything else on their menu is really good: Tried the angel hair pasta with marinara and pest sauce and the Salmon Nicoise Salad (the dressing is light but flavorful) read more

Theodore and I came in here for just one thing and thank goodness we actually just got that one thing LOL. The store is so pretty and well lit you just can't help but want to spend more money on something shiny :) This particular store has a great representative (who's name I didn't catch) for the Kiehl's. She is very attentive and nice. Seems like she's really looking for the best product for you and not so much the price. All in all I had a great experience here will definitely come back :) read more

Nordstrom. Yup. This is how I love to shop. Service to the max. My girlfriend and I are going to buy matching toms. So the service at the shoe department is perfect. The lady that helped us brought the shoes quick, and was super polite. The men shoes side, same thing. We also went to the purse department, honestly I thought the selections they had for purse were horrible, that's why I really didn't spent much time there but I did get asked like 50 times while I was in nordstroms if there was anything they could help me with. Overall. I Basically come to brea mall to go to the nordstroms only. Perfect. read more

This review is solely for their Wedding Suite. I love Nordstrom and, more specifically, their customer service. When I got engaged last November, it seemed like a no brainer that I would try out their Wedding Suite for dress shopping since I anticipated a stress free, easy shopping experience. I was sorely disappointed. My stylist was very sweet, but the suite itself was a huge let down. It was TINY and their selection of dresses was minuscule at best. They majorly overbooked their appointments so trying to pick out dresses involved a lot of elbow rubbing and crowd maneuvering. Once in the dressing room area, it didn't get any better. There were at least 2 other appointment taking place but they unfortunately only had one viewing area which was being used by a group who made it very clear that they had claimed that territory. I didn't expect to get the side eye when trying to find a place for my mom and sister to sit. Through what felt like contortion I was able to get myself into a few dresses, but once I had them on there was no where to go. The dressing room had a large mirror to view, but there was no means of viewing the entirety of the dress since the one viewing area was taken. I only tried on two dresses because I was eager to get out of there. If they cut back their appointments to one at a time, it might have been a better experience. read more

Nordstroms used to be my favorite store to buy my clothes but I have been in about 20 times and haven't found one thing I liked for the last five years I don't know who the buyers are for all the Nordstrom's around Southern California but they even got rid of my favorite jeans rock & republics I heard Norstrom's is going to go under which I really hope it doesn't happen because it reminds me of my childhood but they do need to get better styles read more

I like the parking there haha. I always so lucky to find a close parking with cover. So even I go Nordstrom on summer time but I don't need to worry about the heat in the car. This Nordstrom is not so big but like every Nordstrom they have everything like clothes, shoes, cosmetics, home appliances and etc. read more

I enjoy Nordstrom at Brea Mall. Most of the employees there are kind and helpful. My one complaint has to do with parking. The small parking lot outside of Nordstrom, should be reserved for customers ONLY. I have seen on numerous occasions when employees park in these spots. As a matter of fact, I have arrived before the store opens and the entire lot is full of vehicles, which I suspect are NOT customers' vehicles! Very disappointing!! read more

Long story... I made the mistake of shopping online and entered the wrong store to be shipped to. I called customers service immediately and asked it to be rerouted to Brea because I had ordered it to San Francisco. They assured me that it would be rerouted. I called online customer service a few days later to make sure the rerouting was done because I was leaving San Francisco and going to Orange County for Christmas. I went to Brea Nordstrom to pick up my online order and my order was no where to be found. I was so frustrated because I ordered Christmas gifts online so that I would avoid the mayhem of the mall and most items where online exclusive . I called the San Francisco store and the items were there and never rerouted. The associate I was on the phone was so rude and was busy. That was when I was assisted by Isaias. He assured me that they should be able to send the items expedited to my home free of cost. When I told the associate on the phone to please send it, she was telling me there was a fee for shipping or I would have to return the items and repurchase. I didn't want to return because I used my 10 points with this large purchase. At that point I was completely frustrated and irritated. Isaias handled the entire issue and guaranteed my order at my home before Christmas. The courtesy was greatly appreciated with such a frustrating situation. Thank you so much Isaias and Nordstrom Brea! read more

I brought my son to your store on Friday, 2/23/18 to help my son celebrate his 14th birthday. I was ready to spend lots of money on Vans shoes. We got to the shoedept at 4:00, found the shoes he wanted and waited....waited. ....we saw 2 employees with customers at the register with and one lady jamming off of her shift. My son waited in line to ask for his size but not hi or even a sneeze in our direction. I took the shoes across to a salesperson in Women's shoes and ask d if he can help us. He was pleasant, but said "let me tell them at the cash register because they'll get mad if I take their sales." I wanted him to help- I didn't care who got commission. I just needed help. I used to work at that same store 25 years ago and sales would go to whomever is willing to help. Anyway, we got bounced back to the other 2 at the register in Men's shoes. One guy went to go fetch our shoes without acknowledging us. Ok- fine. After waiting about another 10 min, he had only one size of the shoe we wanted. This is the part that got me- while my son was trying on the shoes, he took off to talk to his coworker buddy and left us. I was ready to drop money and buy shoes for my son, but I told my son based on the customer service, I was not spending my money in that department. I ended up buying $300 of merchandise at Vans Store instead....and will be giving them a positive survey. Apparently, they value transactions over their customers. Situation 2- completely opposite and wonderful service was received at men's cologne. Transaction 4533 A very lovey lady helped us out. I wish I had her name on the receipt- Julio rang us up, but it was a very nice lady who was super helpful and is the epitome of Nordstrom service. She deserves to be commended! I will be filling out a very positive survey on this experience. read more

Excellent customer service!!! Love, love, love Nordstrom because it's high end yet not ridiculously unaffordable like the other higher end department stores. The sales people are always so helpful and not snobby at all. Their customer service is impeccable. I've returned merchandise that did not meet my expectations (e.g., comfort, fit, style) and they took it back, no questions asked! The store is fairly big (3 story) so they have a good amount of merchandise than their other Nordstrom stores. And they guaranteed free shipping for anything not physically available in the store! I love that they're expanding the brands they carry all the time! read more

This is a review for accessories for Nordstrom Wedding Suite. My consultant was knowledgeable and creative. She was able to identify and describe the look I was going for in a heart beat (e.g. art deco); and pulled pieces that fit my criteria. My consultant also encouraged me to pull accessories that I wanted to try on. Another plus was that she took photos of me with the hair pieces in various angles. She also demonstrated creative ways to use and place the hair pieces. In addition, the appointment took place in a large fitting room with just her and I so that I was the sole focus. Another plus is pieces will arrive sooner (e.g. 3-7 business days) than smaller boutique shops where it can take 4 weeks or longer b/c pieces are custom made orders. Come here if you want your own private stylist and high end pieces. Check out their accessories online b/c not all pieces are at the wedding suite. One more plus: free shipping and returns! read more

This review goes for the entire Nordstrom corporation. They really do everything in their ability to please their customers. They have great customer service, if you have a problem...no questions asked, they will help you resolve the issue. I would shop with them all the time if they fit more into my budget. =) However, whenever I need to have it, Nordstrom is my first stop. read more

I love this place. Best selection, aside from South Coast Plaza and Topanga Canyon Mall. I extremely appreciate their customer service and return policies. Hands down the best. I don't purchase many things from here. However, when I do, it is usually online and during their sales. They are usually very busy during their sales. Recently, I have made the majority of my purchases online. It allows me the freedom to take my time in trying on shoes to see how I can work them into my existing wardrobe. I then return the items I am not satisfied with in-store. The items that I have purchased from here are all built to last. I buy my fragrances and bras only from Nordstrom. The shoes I've bought from here have lasted me for years. I've never needed to have them repaired due to the lack of quality materials used in manufacturing. The employees are definitely aggressive in their sales-oriented customer service and from what I know, work off of commission. If you love their items but are an indecisive shopper, like me, stick to shopping online. (What is up with people editing my posts on Yelp?) read more

Excellent service!! Love shopping at Nordstrom no matter what location. Best brand names excellent service, super clean and quiet not to crowded! Love the private events some of the best sales rep came out of there sadly many left after many years of great service! Love love Nordstrom! read more

We were at the men's accessories area to return something my husband received and is not using. Received proper credit and went about our ways taking care of things as planned. Not too long after into mall shopping, I realized I left my cell phone at the counter during the time when I was returning the items. I panicked and rushed back only to find the cashier saving the phone for me. I couldn't have been more thankful!! My daughter and I shopped throughout the mall for men's casual brief case. We decided we liked the one from Nordstrom, so we came back to this departments store and looked for the gentleman who helped me with my cell phone issues. We were only happy to give him the sale of the brief case. read more

Another amazing shopping experience. Everytime I come here for their Trend Show I always find myself overwhelmed due to the crowd but until I get greeted by a warm hug from Ginnelle Jackson (Beauty Fragrance Specialist) I find myself happy and content. Ginelle is an amazing person, she treats you like you are her only customer, she takes her time, she ask you what you need and best of all, she showers you with great samples after some purchases. If you love everything about beauty and fragrance, make sure to ask for her, I promise you will not be disappointed. Her station is usually by the fragrance counter but she can assist you with anything related to beauty and scents. read more

Lady who worked at Estee Lauder counter name Ofelia refused to let me return my brown pencil, claiming that because I got a free gift I'm not allow to return. I bought 2 items (1) day cream $46.80 (2) brow pencil $24.30. Just the day cream along already qualify me for getting a free gift set. She argue with me but I insist I'm going to return it (SORRY if you're nice and polite I would kept it) and than show my receipt to her co-worker. Her co-worker probably told her it's okay, than she just process the return without saying anything to me and rudely gave my receipt back to me. Chinese lady who works at Lamer counter is very rude too. few months ago I went to pick up my pre-order items ( I purchased few because the GUY who works there is VERY HELPFUL and FRIENDLY. I would buy from him again). Knowing I probably won't purchase from her, when I asked about the Gel Cream and if I can try it, she quickly replied " THIS IS NOT FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE". Wow......she didn't even look at my facer more 1 mins and no conversation about my skin type and this is how she replied me. My friend who went there at a separate time also think both the Chinese lady is very rude. ( me and my friend are both Chinese, we're not being racist or anything...) Overall South Coast Nordstrom have much better customer service at all cosmetic and shoes dept. Would just order online or go to south coast even thou brea mall is only 5 mins away from me. read more

I've been shopping here for years, never once have I had an issue until yesterday. I see this jacket on the mannequin and it's the only one in that color, the size is an XL, a size bigger than I would normally get but decided I'd like to try it on regardless. I go to the registers, wait in line, and a young girl, with longer wavy brown hair and a petite frame waves me over. I go and explain that I'd like to see the jacket off the mannequin if possible. She looks at me and goes "the sizes on the mannequins are usually either XS or S". Excuse me? For all she knew, I could've been getting it for someone else. How dare she discriminate based off my body type? I called customer service the next day and spoke with Taryn (?) the manager and she sincerely apologized and assured me she would figure out the exact employee. That was much appreciated, however, it does not take away the fact that one of their employees lacks empathy and more importantly, a brain. And if it wasn't obvious, I did not purchase the sweater. You can thank your employee for losing a sale. read more

Nordstrom Brea having the curbside device is great! In this time of Covid I'd rather not go into a store. The employees who make the deliveries and accept the returns are always so courteous. The store manager Tara Flora is so very helpful. I love Brea Nordstrom! read more

This particular Nordstrom is super snooty. I'm the type of person who knows what I want, so if I go to the mall, its to get in and out as fast as possible. If you're dressed down, you'll get the not so nice up and down stares which is not cool...which leads to trying to find someone to get you what you need, and that leads to waiting around. If you ask to buy gift cards, its a burden to the person helping you or you get a new hire who has to void the card 3 times. I usually go to Cerritos location because of all of the above. Not sure why everyone here is so cold... read more

Updates: At the anniversary sale, i bought several products from Charlotte Tilbury. The store was crowded, and the sale's person was lovely. This past week I had the best experience at Nordstrom I have had in the many years I have shopped here. I started at costumer service where a young woman by the name of Alex was very diligent in solving my issue that I had with my online order. She not only found my order instantly, but was very pleasant to work with. Then she continued to accompany me over to men's shoes where she referred to me to another young woman also by the name of Alex, what are the odds! Alex in men's shoes continued to replace my online order with the correct shoes, but also brought out other pairs that I ended up leaving with! read more

I've visited this particular Nordstrom on numerous occasions and have always gotten decent customer service, I'm no regular by any means but I've noticed one important thing while I was there today. It seems as if one must dress a certain type of way to receive a certain type or level of customer service, almost similar to dressing "nice" when going car shopping. I just left this store maybe an hour or so ago and I was dressed extremely laid back so to speak, wearing a plain black tee, shorts, and some Nike sneakers. I walked around the men's department mindlessly looking for a particular brand of khaki's, fortunately after some effort I find the brand I'm looking for, and fortunately it was right in front of a guest counter. Two younger ladies were organizing the guest counter top and in my aisle was a caucasian couple and myself looking at the rack of khaki's(or at least in the general area), mind you I had been there maybe minutes before the couple. One of the female associates walks right past me, and greets the couple and asks them if they needed assistance when it was clearly evident that I couldn't find the pair of pants I was looking for. This isn't the first time this has happened to me at a Nordstrom store, it's a strange anomaly that this happens, I mean maybe it's the way I look or maybe it's a racial thing or maybe it's just because I didn't appear that I needed assistance... These employees seem to forget they're on a commission based income, so by helping every individual will bring them closer to what they desire from a mildly decent paycheck. Once I realized my business wasn't wanted I walked over to my usual "go to" Banana Republic and immediately got greeted and assisted by practically everyone from that store, kudos to Banana Republic for understanding the importance of customer service... Shame on Nordstrom for clearly not getting a single clue... read more

For my wedding, I purchased Two birds dresses for my attendants at Nordstrom Brea Bridal shop. Loved them!!! The staff was VERY helpful. This review is for the Bridal Suite ! FIrst off Jennifer Lozano is amaze! she has happened to be the one to help me out each time I've stepped foot in there. My bridesmaids all have different schedules, but she has helped each one of them find the perfect bm dress! She's so personable and makes shopping for dresses seem just like girl time! I botched our appt day and showed up the day before just as she was about to take lunch and she helped us anyway, not rudely like it was an obligation but in great spirit like she was excited to get my girls their perfect dress. We ended up hogging her for another hour before she was finally able to take her lunch! My experience today in the lingerie department at Nordstrom was highly disappointing. While my daughter and I were browsing around one of the employees followed us. First she asked if we needed help, we didn't at that point. She stayed behind us. Then, a shirt fell on the floor and I bent down to hang it back up and I turn around and there she is, pretending (and not so subtly) to fix a rack. I understand Loss Prevention but wow. We left. Perhaps Management can work with employees to not assume everyone is up to something nefarious. I expect more from Nordstrom. read more

AHHHHHHHHHH! I love me some Nordstrom's! I had to stop in here to pick up some last min. gifts for the family. The parking was crazy, so I just used valet which is so convenient. They even have a car wash which I have used in the summer. LOL! The sales girl in the men's dept was awesome with me and took the time to help me pick out the perfect gifts. I then headed to the kids dept to shop for my spoiled princess. I actually knew exactly what she wanted BC she pointed the stuff out the weekend before, I know, I know I'm sneaky that way. The experience was still pleasant though. Overall it was great experience again. Thank guy's!! read more

Wedding suite at Nordstrom in Brea with MacKenzie was hands down 10 stars. She helped not one but two of us shop for bridesmaids dresses. She was on top of everything and girl can she carry so many dresses in each arm! She was very welcoming with the cold bottled waters. She was so great we expressed how much we loved her and got her a little something to show her our appreciation. Shout out to whoever said she didn't do a good job because they were being a brideZilla earlier the week. Shame on you. Having always had excellent experiences at various Nordstrom stores in the past, I was incredibly disappointed this afternoon. Was looking for a dressy pants outfit for a high school reunion. Not only did I not find anything close, but the sales associates wouldn't even look at me. I had come from my office and was dressed nicely, if dress has anything to do with it. In the 'Point of View' section, there were several associates hanging up clothes, chatting with each other, etc. I guess these things were more important than helping a potential customer, who was willing to spend some pretty big bucks. I walked out empty handed, and won't return there anytime soon. Sad. read more

I've always received great customer service at this Nordstrom. I mostly shop for dresses here and their alteration department is excellent as well. My most recent experience with their early access anniversary sale was top notch. I was trying to decide between two Tumi carry-on, one being in the men's department. The sweet SA carried the luggage all the way to the men's department so I can see the two side by side. She gave her honest opinion and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend this store. read more
