4 out of 5. My work clothing are usually from LOFT because of their sizing. I am short and generally all around petite and this brand usually has the sizing I need for pants, tops, dresses, and skirts. All the clothing here are cute and flattering, not only just for petite women, but for all women of all sizes. This particular store has a good amount of sale items for both petite and regular sizing. Customer service is here is better than other LOFT stores; the ladies here are available if you have questions and are quick to process purchases and returns. My only 2 gripes are that there are a lot of clothing (particularly petite clothes) with make up stains on them. Makes me not want to purchase... However, staff has stain removing wipes to help with that, which is a positive. I have also noticed that, online pricing for clothes is better than purchasing in-store. Staff will not honor online price match. If you want a better deal, better off buying online and trying the clothes at home. You can always come into the store for returns if need be, and staff will be accommodating! Best bet for parking is to just park in the nearby structure rather than trying to find spots nearby. Parking is free. Overall, great clothing line for all women who are in need of business casual clothing and love cute styles. Happy LOFT shopping! read more

We visited the store around 7:40 pm on a Saturday evening with my wife and another couple. Upon entering, we were informed that the store closed at 8:00 pm. My wife and friend managed to find a few items and make a purchase by 7:50 pm. As my wife was paying, I noticed them locking the doors to prevent others from entering. After my wife finished her transaction, she stood a few feet away from the register and decided to buy another item. However, she was informed that it was now 8:00 pm and she should come back tomorrow. If the store's system was on a timer, I understand the situation. Nevertheless, it was poor customer service. We were the only people in the store, and she didn't need to try on anything. A two-minute transaction wouldn't have been an issue. Overall good stock of items. Poor customer service read more

Customer service is no bueno here. I came here three times within the last 10 days due to getting work related pants. First time, the associate made a mistake in ordering the wrong color, no biggie as I patiently waited for 20 minutes for them to fix. Good thing I did a sanity ck before she hit the order button the second time around. 2nd time : no issue. 3rd time: the store mgr remembered me since I have been there so many times and the first thing she said was that didn't you return this? I said, no. This is an online order. She asked me for an receipt which did not come with the package and I did not have the email anymore. All she had to do was to get my phone number and trace my orders from there. Subpar experience. Not coming back to this brea store anytime soon. read more

I love shopping at Loft. It's been my favorite store for over 10 years and I go to this location all the time. I still shop online a lot, but I find that going to the store you find ideas on how to put outfits together. Also, the sale section is always filled with great finds. I was a big Ann Taylor fan back in the 90's. And my taste in clothing is going from preppy to ultra conservative to funky but girley... Anyway, my taste in clothing has changed in the past 20 years. I stopped going to Ann Taylor for the longest time. Today, I stopped in and got really lucky. They actually have really cute tops with just enough ruffles on it to make it feminine and very girley. Plus it was on SALE and you get additional 30%. So 15 bucks was all I spent on this pretty little top. I was paying at the counter where they had sprayed chemicals to clean off the area after the customer before me was. I set down my Christian Dior bag on the countertop to pay for my items. When it was time to leave my purse was stuck in the counter and I had to rip it off where it stained the bottom of my luxury bag. The manager gave me the corporate number to call about my claim where they denied any responsibility. This loft store ruined by Christian Dior bag and I definitely won't be coming back. I'm a huge fan of Loft, unfortunately had a terrible experience at this store and really a bad taste for the disorganization of this company. I went in because I had just purchased a dress the day before and online had the exact same dress for a much lower price. I had called Loft earlier in the day and was told they would honor the price match. When I arrived in store I was told they would NOT honor the online price! Which was super confusing for me since I went out of my way to stop at the store. Also, incredibly confusing is the fact that you can order ONLINE AND PICK UP IN STORE AT THE DISCOUNTED PRICE?!?! First time visited this location. Great customer service!! Roxanne is the most professional and patient staff I've ever seen. She saved all my exchange and return items on the last day of the 30 days return policy. I previous ordered some items, but I've been informed those items no long available after I placed the order. Roxanne helped me double checking the inventory and placed new orders for me at the discounted price I paid originally. I received the items today, and they fit perfectly. Roxanne is the best! I have been a LOFT royal shopper but I have to say this store is unpleasant, unfriendly and thankless. I went there about a week ago no one greeted which is OK, there staff pretends to be busy so they cannot even say hello. There staff are bigotry and bias but that doesn't surprise me it is 2020. Personally, the clothing and jewelry are not my taste. It is teacher appropriate though which is why my friend shops here. If you are trying to look like a sophisticated grandmother, then Loft is for you! This is where middle-aged women after children come to settle for unflattering outfits. Plus everything here is extremely overpriced. Ladies, have you not heard of Nordstrom Rack or T.J. Maxx? Pros: - The store itself seems clean and well organized. Cons: - Staff with bad attitude. Only two registers so lines back up. Third employee was organizing clothes. The lady ahead of my friend was trying to return two items. I could tell the employee was trying veeery hard not to come off as rude but was raising her voice at the customer standing right in front of her. Everyone in store could hear the entire conversation! I felt bad for the older woman but mostly uncomfortable witnessing it. Tips: - Take advantage of sales. Shopping on their website offers more discounts. I am an avid fan of ATL. It's definitely come a long way - clothes are now much more fashion forward. let's face it, some day we all have to stop shopping at WetSeal and Express. These are clothes for women, not girls. I wanted to give a shout-out to the Brea Union store. I missed the deadline by one measly day to turn in my spend $50 get $25 off coupon cards (I earned these weeks ago with a heft ATL purchase at full retail prices). What was even more sad and infuriating is I had 6 of them and I could have also gotten an additional 30% off. Although the store was unable to honor my expired coupons, the store manager found some way to give me 25% off my entire purchase. It wasn't as good as my coupons, but it sure took the sting out of not being able to use them. Good for her - she made loyal customer out of me. read more

I love this store- it's clean and bright, the staff is helpful but not too in your face, and they have great sales. Often you can combine discounts too- like using your LoftCard on the first Tuesday of the month when they also have a sale. I don't like clothes shopping and always seem to buy the same look even when I'm trying to upgrade. I went to Loft in Brea on my daughter's advice. I looked around and, as usual, wasn't sure about sizing or choices. The sales rep at the counter (Amanda) asked me if I needed help and this angel then listened to me and took me around the store to get an idea what might work. She brought a selection of sizes and body-type styles until I happily found three tops and three pairs of pants (yes, pants - they never fit!) that work perfectly for me. Tonight was there first time I ever shopped at Ann Taylor loft. I actually was at Ann Taylor in the Brea Mall about an hour before and was having a hard time finding something to wear for work. An employee told me to check out the Loft on Birch Street and I am so glad I did. I feel in love with everything in the store. The employees were so sweet and had me trying on clothes left and right. I felt like I was in a fashion show. It was so nice to be able to go in and have such great service and receive great style tips. I highly recommend this Loft location. The street also has an awesome farmers market every Tuesday! Can't wait to go back! read more

This is one of my favorite stores to shop and get inspiration from. The new product is amazing and the staff are very attentive. I come in and ask them what I find at other retailers, and they never seem to mind helping me put together an outfit, even if all items aren't from their store. I like coming in here for fresh ideas and there always seems to be some kind of promotion or discount for teachers and Brea community. Some stores the have staff that act rude or distracted, but the women here are so attentive and patient. Everything is so clean and well organized and if they don't have my size, they quickly order it with free shipping. I'm a 30 something mom of 3 and busy professional who needs size double zero in almost everything, and I love classic styles that look business like and feel comfortable. I love the clothes at Loft, but have begun shopping elsewhere because the service at this specific location is so bad. The young staff doesn't pay any attention to the customers, even during non "rush" hours. The last several times I've been shopping at this location, I've had to get my own size adjustments because no one has checked on me. The last time I was there, I actually went in and out of the fitting room twice each time with 2-3 items, and left the store (without making a purchase) without ever even being greeted. I would like to begin this review by prefacing that I love Ann Taylor Loft. I do not like this store. The staff is not friendly at all. No one greets you when you come in. I wen't in recently to make an exchange and the unfriendly clerk gave me a smirk and told me that they don't exchange swimwear or maternity their. There was not an "I am sorry you didn't know that" or "I am sorry you came all this way for nothing". She just smirked. I have run into several unfriendly sales people there.
