I took beginner sewing classes here and learned how to make a tote bag! The machine and all materials were included in the cost ($65, WELL worth it!). I have wanted to learn to sew for so many years but have always felt intimidated to get started, Celia really put me at ease and was very helpful with answering any concerns that I had. I learned how to thread a machine, which for me, was one of the scariest parts of the whole idea of sewing. I was with one other girl (hey Jazzy!) and she gave us both lots of one on one attention. I feel very confident to learn now! I can't wait to take another class with Celia and gain more confidence with a sewing machine!! I really wanted to like this place and support local but my experience here was almost like planning a wedding. If the vendor doesn't work out on the big day it's not like you're going to get another chance to get married again and try out another suitable vendor in their place. You pretty much are stuck with whatever decision you made. Now in the permanent jewelry business the same concept applies, one would hope there isn't a need to visit the studio again, because if it's done correctly, one time is really all you need. I came here for a celebratory bestie bonding experience amongst the 3 of us girls. We had three pieces of jewelry applied. 1 anklet broke a few hours after initial application, the other bracelet was within three days and the last piece, an anklet, lasted a month. This should be advertised rather as semi semi permanent jewelry or just hand applied jewelry, since there is no permanency. Since it takes much effort and scheduling to get people together, it took most of the sentimental value out of the occasion to have to get this permanent jewelry repaired and revisit the studio. I couldn't imagine if any of the people getting jewelry were from out of town. Isn't that the whole point? I was never able to go back due to scheduling conflicts. Better off getting a semi permanent tattoo! I did reach out to the studio via text and email the day the first piece broke but never heard back. The upside to the experience was that the jewelry tech was very helpful and sweet but sadly was very vague about the replacement/repair/refund policy. She wasn't too clear on it herself. Would not recommend, especially for the price. read more

She can also do custom bags and even add embroidery to them. Highly recommend her boutique for yourself or even if you need a gift for someone else. read more

This is the cutest shop. I've been in multiple times since it's opened. I've got permanent jewelry but mostly shop for necklaces and earrings. This is a great shop for gifts and plants. It's impossible not to purchase something because most things are handmade and unique. Staff is friendly and helpful. The owner has done something special to this area. A gem of a place. This store is absolutely amazing! It's in a small nondescript strip mall but inside is so gorgeously decorated and organized. The store owner was so friendly and welcoming and was okay with me taking pictures. The prices are really reasonable and there are some other cute items like scrunchies, candles, and clothes besides jewelry, too. I think this is the best store in Whittier! read more

Very disappointed with my experience here . Came with my boyfriend to get permanent jewelry and within a week my bracelet fell off and my boyfriend's chain started to tarnish and stain his skin green as well as the charm started to tarnish . Wasn't able to get a full refund for the damage to the jewelry even though this was not my fault and the quality of the jewelry was not good . Spoke to the owner in regards to this matter and she didn't want to give me the full refund back because she knows the quality of her jewelry and she's never had that happen which maybe you should recheck the quality and I'd think you'd want your customers to leave happy and coming back . I will definitely not recommend to get permanent jewelry here and I'll be taking my service elsewhere for better quality jewelry and better customer service . read more
