I've been coming here for a long time, they're always stocked up on band tees, they have a whole wall full of various punk bands and artists merchandise. I'm a bit iffy about coming here since the same couple of employees that have been working there for ages always act like you're bothering them when you ask to look at stuff from the walls or from the cabinets since they keep all the accessories locked up. This has been an uptown gem for decades now. I use to come here when I was a teen and now I bring my son here. They offer a wide array of apparel, bags, accessories and collectibles. We go for the Funkos. The staff has always been friendly and reasonable. Wish the continued success of this business for years to come. read more

I was driving back from the San Gabriel Valley when I got a text from my ex-SIL asking if I was looking for a particular Funko. I was only 8 minutes away so I made a quick stop. The place has a decent selection of Funko Pop! and I even found the Diana Prince one for $17. I did not check the PP+G pricing but I'm sure it's fair. They sell the commons for $11, a bit higher than some places, but it's a small business store... they gotta make a living. Parking can be a pain. I ended up parking down the street near a tattoo place. They close late at 10 pm, which was the only reason I made it after coming from the mall. read more

i purchased $80 worth of Sonny Angels only to get home and find out that they are fakes, and than i call the store back and all of a sudden they cant pick up the phone and as i arrive back on site they are "closed" when i clearly see someone inside i will be calling today and ask for a refund and see what i am told. read more

I've been coming here sense I could remember my parents had brought me here since I was a baby but that changed today I had a pet and they where being extremely rude we where picking our dog up to go into the store and they said there was no dogs aloud after another worker said it was aloud as long as you carry them the men in the photos where the ones who where being rude it's totally against punks when they sell stuff for punks only for proffet it's goes against ELF. Just go to the record store like 5 stores down they where super kind and had great costumer service. Never spending my money here again. A little overpriced, but a fun little spot. I didn't "discover" it as much as I walked past it on my way back to the car after my hair appt. I'm a dork and have a small, but specific, collection of pop funkos. This little shop was fun because they had all the HP funkos I hadn't been able to find elsewhere!! ...although I do regret spending $21 on the demogorgon funko after finding it online for $16. You win some, you lose some. Prices aside (& I totally understood the prices, not complaining), fun experience, cool store, nice and friendly employees, would return. They had a huge selection of black band shirts in ALL sizes, but I couldn't pay attention to much other than the toys. read more

2 old dudes that work here suck First of all the man w short grey hair (maybe a mustache?) was too busy zooming into a girls body parts on his phone through the store's security cameras to noticed I had walked in 5 mins ago and was watching him be a creep before he finally approached me and delivered the worst customer service experience. It's as if he didn't want me to buy anything? Because when asking him if he could measure the piercing I was buying (the last time I got one here they gave me the wrong size and yes I explained this) he said "it says the size right there" and then exhaled in a frustrating manner like dude I can pick up social cues just tell me to leave lmao more happened but I think you get the gist of this place's ambiance. I asked how much for a Dead Kennedy's T-shirt the guy looked me up and down and said $27. The same shirt on eBay is $17 with free shipping. So this review is in regards to the little short hispanic guy with a ponytail. He is BEYOND rude, completely unfriendly, i was browsing the store and had an inquiry about an item and he rolled his eyes and made it seem like me being in the store was an issue and he continuously gave me dirty looks and rolled his eyes while i was deciding on a shirt and i didn't appreciate it one bit. He is a unhappy person and he drags that miserable attitude with him to work and i will never be going back because of it. Pretty cool store has a big selection prices vary but better than most. Bought a leather jacket for around 150 unheard of in most places.

I was looking for a place to find some cool punch patches and I ended up finding much more. Amazing atmosphere.

NEVER AGAIN!! I used to LOVE this place, it was the only local place I could rely on to find decent band shirts. However, my last visit was awful. First, I walked in and had a nearly finished drink. I understand the sign outside says "No food or drinks", but (1) I am a capable adult who can drink without spilling and (2) I can afford to buy whatever it is i might ruin in the rare event that I did spill! The guy asked me to leave my drink at the door, but I just tossed it because by the time I would be done shopping my drink would be too watered down. Secondly, while I was shopping, the guy (who I'm sure is the owner because he's been there forever), very obviously and annoyingly was following me around and watching me shop. I not only felt uncomfortable to shop, but he also made me feel like a twelve year-old who he thought was going to steal. Regardless of his intentions, this type of creepy stare down makes customers feel uncomfortable and rushed! It's too bad this happened because I will now be taking my loyal 10 year business I gave them SOME PLACE ELSE! read more

Worse customer service ever!!!! I walked in on my lunch break and noticed the place was empty. I went in looking for a Smiths onesie for my new born, but couldn't find it. Love this place, tons of stuff and the guy with the glasses is cool. Can't seem to find any underground metal stuff, but they do have a huge selection of other metal t's and girl sizes. Cool spot in Uptown Whittier that's been around for years. I come here specifically for Elvis Presley, Superman, Star Wars and Jack Skeleton collectibles. This store is a mixed mash of things that sell ranging from heavy metal and classic rock clothing to Toys and flasks. Great shop, large selection of band t-shirts, posters and some memorabilia super stuff. Shirts are expensive considering they are NOT licensed apparel, meaning the musicians get nothing out of the sales, unlike Hot Topic. That being said... Still a great shop! I mainly come here for Funko Pops! The guys here try to give every customer their attention but sometimes there is a lot of people, so waiting your turn can take some time. They have a variety of collectables which I love, and it's the only store in whittier that has more than 6 different pops, no offense to the other stores. When I notice a blemish on the Pop or box I ask if they have different ones in the back, they always check for me without complaining and bring me back a couple different ones so I can choose the best one. This place is definitely worth checking if you're in Uptown. read more
