My wife and I were shopping at the Bloomingdale's Outlet at The Outlets at Orange when her brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max was stolen directly from our shopping cart. We immediately asked staff for assistance and to review the security footage, but they were unhelpful and showed little concern. Shoppers, please be very careful here. Never leave your phone (or any valuables) unattended in your cart. Someone may try to steal it. I used to live in NYC, a trip to Bloomingdale's was for fun window shopping, I was poverty stricken w a student loan to pay. Even in the real Bloomingdale nowadays it's no longer the same store that I knew. This outlet looks so depressing, whoever designed this store should go to another line of work, it is not beautiful like the Nieman Marcus outlet, the place was stocked w clothes that should belong in the Salvation army store. The outlet in South Coast metro is much better but both stores can't compete w Nordstrom rack. I'm surprised they are still in business as the store was almost empty. read more

The selection was pretty good, especially for an outlet store. I was a little frustrated as many times some anti theft security measure made it difficult to pull things off the racks to look closer. And I only saw employees behind the registers so I wasn't about to go all the way up there and bring them all the way back for something I may not even want. I probably would have spent more money here if not for this. Also, I had one of those anti theft buttons on a pair of pants I bought. It didn't get removed, and it didn't alarm when I left. The alarm did go off when I went back in to have it removed. They could do much better. read more

I love this Bloomingdale's outlet so much. Every time i walk in to this store, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. They have a great selection of what a person needs. Specially, that we have a memorial weekend they have huge selection of swim suits and cover ups in vivid colors that it was very hard too choose and the most important thing in a great value. I bought a beautiful nice beach bag and ended up to set it a with a gorgeous swim suit and cover up, because it was in reasonable price. They have so many racks of %85 off so jump there. I have been shopping at La cienega and Beverly bloomingdale's outlet many times with no good customer service in the past but this time in wednesday March 11th a sales person her ID tag said SHEILA who helped me alone surprised me by her outsstanding customer services during the most busy hours it was so crowded with many customers were in line at fitting room front with full of piled up new clothes inside out of hangers while sheila was incerting hangers inside clothes she helped us happily I thanked her for her good customer service to me and to others that I thought she was the store manager she was trying to cover their low staff situation. This is a major shout out to David who helped us today. We have been coming in every week to see if someone returned or there was a restock in the Hugo Boss Snoopy hoodie. Each week we have been told they're gone. Except today. We asked a salesperson, like we always do. David was the person we saw first and he said no. They've been sold out. Well, we're still looking around and he comes out with one. I immediately yelled to my hubby. It was a size small though but he wants it so bad, he tried it and he needs a medium. This is my got to for pretty much everything. Today was a shopping day for me and was on the go. I needed shoes and handbags. Got my shoes and then when to the handbags department. There were some customers that were being helped and waited to be assisted. I was helped by a young gal who I might be mispronouncing her name Neyheldin, I think. She was very helpful and I had her open several lock display cases. She was pleasant and patient. I have to to say she did a good job on first stating the price before hand. That's very helpful for the customer. There was handbags that I decided to purchase that she showed me. The last one I told her I was going to get it without looking at the price. I was rung up and when the total came up I was in shock but I payed it. Then I looked at the receipt and the last handbag was a price I miss read. I was so embarrassed but I asked if I can return it and she said "of course I was surprise she's not asking for the price",since I turned down a handbag that was more that I wanted to pay. So then I turn around and there was was 2 bags that caught my eye and Neyheldin helped me decide which was is better and I purchased it. I was very appreciative how kind and understanding she was. The service she provided was very genuine. Not to mention I still had 5 pairs of shoes I still had to purchase in the front. I just want you to know what a great team member you have. This has the most generic name out of the 4 main department store outlets at the Orange Outlet malls, but they might have the best selection of higher end clothes and shoes. They have big clearance sales on final products, but also have racks of newer styles. Hugo Boss is a fashion brand that seems to be found here, which I took advantage of. The associates were helpful, and the checkout process was the same as at the main store....you need to find an associate so they can ring you up at the nearest register. read more

This store is fairly new, and I really liked the selection of handbags here. I also thought the service was good too! I stopped by the Orange Outlets today to buy my son some shoes. When we realized this new Bloomingdale's Outlet was here, we decided to walk through this store on the way to the Vans store. I didn't see much in the way of women's shoes, but then I saw it...the handbags and accessories! This section had an amazing selection of beautiful items, and everything was so well organized. The service was good here as well. The salesperson that helped us made sure to check on prices and even found a coupon for us to use on our purchase today. It was so nice to get such helpful service. Although I didn't find a huge selection of women's shoes, I will be back to find wonderful wallets and clutches for my friends or family for birthdays. Super great department store for decently priced brands! Went in, trying to get a tie to be classy for them after-grad interviews, & being boojie on a budget, and got this awesome navy tie! I really like their essentials since they are more decently priced than other department stores like Nordstrom Rack. The selection probably is more diverse at larger malls but in the end, the store was great. Retail stores tend to have lower ratings since they can get pretty busy & hard to find help during holiday & certain time periods, but even so, the customer service was still spot on! Had shopped for 1 hour with multiple items on me I asked the associate lady Albina if I can use the restrooms and she looked at me from head to toe and told me I cannot that I had to use the restrooms outside. Please don't shop here if you care about your health. This place does not ask any single customer that walks in to put on a face mask even though it is a MANDATE. They have security's standing at the door welcoming in every customer that does not have a mask on. All the employees help customers without a face mask and there is no type of social distancing, I feel so unsafe walking in here I will never come back. read more

I am a frequent shopper at Bloomingdales and it's outlet stores and I have never had a bad experience until today. Last week, I wanted pants in a different size that ran in the Bloomingdale outlet stores. Unfortunately, they did not have it at the Orange outlet store, which is fine. I was set up to another store in San Diego. The representative was an idiot, you could just tell over the phone. So to no surprise, the wrong pants arrived at my house. (Side note: when the pants were shipped to my house, the representative also charged me a $10 delivery fee). When I went to go return the ugly pants that were sent to me to the Orange outlet store, one representative was wildly unhelpful and called the manager. When the manager, GABE, arrived, I couldn't believe that this guy was even hired anywhere, let alone a manager of a big company store. He could not dispute the charge even though I paid for something that I didn't even want shipped to my house! He would not even waive the shipping charge if I wanted to by the pair of pants I originally wanted to be sent to my house. He was wildly unhelpful, rude, and just idiotic. AND he kept talking into his microphone and walking away for like a 10 minute span of time. 3 times!!! He walked away as if he was trying to do something and would come back and be like "oh no, we can't do that". When I asked for corporates number, he left AGAIN to finally go and get the number. I'm surprised he doesn't know they number off the top of his head because of his poor customer service. He's probably getting reported all the time. When I called corporate, it took 5 minutes to dispute the charge and they sent me a gift card to compensate for GABE!!! They also noted that managers should have the power to dispute a charge--called a courtesy charge, but there was no courtesy given at that store. Gabe is a liability to that outlet store. Poor customer service, idiot managers, and incorrect orders being sent without justification for charges on my card. All I have to say is THANK YOU BLOOMINGDALES CORPORATE for compensating for the morons at Orange outlet store. read more

Ghetto AF. Ended up leaving this sh#thole store and went to the regular Bloomingdales in Costa Mesa where they have cleaner stores. This store is messy and you can't find a damn thing in here. No workers to help you, which is fine as long as the prices are cheap, but they charge you the same as regular Bloomingdales, minus 10-15% since the items have dust and mold/mildew on it from being on the shelf so damn long or its been returned 15 times. It's like being at an overpriced swap meet in South Gate, Plaza Mexico minus the cheap prices. read more

I don't like shopping, so you should probably ignore my review. haha. This is one of the few new stores that can be found in the newest addition to the Outlets. This Bloomingdale's looks massive from the outside, but when in the store, you might start looking around thinking you're missing some secret doorway or hidden section. Kind of small inside, and the selection is pretty repetitive. The men's section is also pretty small, smaller than most men's sections. Prices here are marked down, but that doesn't mean they're low. Of course, it's a Bloomingdale's extension so it's all pretty relative (same goes for the Saks and Neiman Marcus stores here). I've come in here a couple time just to look around. I will say that the floor staff are pretty nice and very engaging; however, the same can't be said for the greeter. On both visits, the person stationed at the front has been just a step above dead. The cashiers I've noticed are friendly. I dunno. It's an expensive outlet of an expensive store. Seems like an attempt to up the fancy levels of this shopping plaza. "The Block" as it's known to many of us has changed a great deal over the past ten years, and yes, the general theme has been evolving to include more and more upscale stores. But $800 for a white sleeveless blouse? Really? No thanks. But maybe I'm just poor and ghetto. read more

I always dislike leaving bad reviews but..... I feel it's important to speak up for one's self. I was having a great experience here recently discovering their great deals and coming back for more. On my third visit I left the dressing room to go get sizes toward the end of the night I made sure to tell the attendant as I was the only customer left in the dressing room besides my partner. While on the floor and gone for five minutes one of the attendants had went into my room to put back clothes I was planning to purchase so when I came back I noticed my clothes were now hanging in the dress by room lobby and my expensive Ray Ban glasses which were on the chair under the clothes they put back were now missing ..... Not cool at all .... When I appeared concerned and asked around if anyone had seen or taken my sunglasses no one seemed to care and mysteriously had not seen them. Rude. I came across a employee by the name of Frankie who not only helped us out and help me open up a credit card , but also he offered to help push my mom on the wheel chair while i was full of shopping bags from other stores at the mall.
