The service was nice enough to go back and pick out a fresh purse for me because the display had visible scrapes. I also got to try their scarves on the purse! I almost chose one but the lime purse was excellent as is. But I loved accessorizing my little mini bag! My friend and I got matching styles too! She simply chose the white flowers stamped onto the bag creating the perfect cowgirl boots vibe. Our purses were on sale!! We're so pleased. I had a really disappointing experience at the Tory Burch location. I came in with a brand new gift that was purchased for me online, with the bag and everything, specifically to do an exchange. An associate took my item at the front and told me I could browse while they held it. Not even a few minutes later, the manager (Judy) came up to me and told me she had already processed a return to the original form of payment without asking me first. She even said, "I know I should've asked you, I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was yours when I did the return." She also told me there was nothing she could do to fix it or void the transaction, and that she had already contacted her supervisor before speaking to me to see if anything could be done. She then assured me that her supervisor would "take care of me" and that he would call me the next day. I trusted that and waited--but I never received a call. I had to reach out myself, and when I finally spoke to him, he said there was nothing he could do either and told me I could email him my order number, which felt completely unhelpful and like a dead end. On top of that, the manager's tone was dismissive, and I witnessed her speaking harshly to her associate, which made the overall environment uncomfortable. I went out of my way to come to this location, and the lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through was extremely frustrating. I've been meaning to replace my Tory Burch sandals and finally got the chance when I stopped by SCP. Really love their service team here. I came in after my workout class, and didn't feel judged for wearing leggings in here. I wanted to get the same pair that I originally had, but they only sell it online now. I ended up finding another pair that was similar and got that one to change it up. Our sales person was really helpful in finding my size. I have wider feet, so I sized up two sizes to find one that'll fit comfortably for me. This location is beyond my favorite. All the associates are super nice and helpful. I will say though, when they take something to the back like trying to purchase an item, do an exchange, or just literally if they leave ur sight u end up waiting a bit and I don't know why lol. Alexis was very helpful assisting me in buying a shoulder bag for my wife as an anniversary gift. I showed him the model she was looking for on my phone and he brought out the exact demo bag for me inspect. He described the characteristics of the bag in detail - calfskin leather, polished-grain texture, and uses for the bag at different chain lengths. When I chose to buy it, he packaged it very well in a protective dust bag, wrapped it in tissue paper, put it in a neat purse-like package, and in a high quality shopping bag. My daughter had a very upsetting experience at this location while shopping for Christmas gifts for me. One employee in particular, was extremely rude to her while she was simply trying to pick out presents. Hearing the details afterward honestly made me sick to my stomach. When I went in to do an exchange, I respectfully addressed the situation with both this woman and the manager, Rudy. I calmly explained that young customers deserve the same kindness and respect as any adult who walks through the door. Unfortunately, this interaction only confirmed why customer service at this location is so poor. Rudy was dismissive and attempted to excuse the behavior by saying it was due to the holiday season an unacceptable justification for treating anyone with disrespect. AWFUL employees at this location. I was not greeted on the floor and had to search for someone to help me. I was not being helped what so ever and every time I asked a question it was like I was annoying them. I tried on some of their bracelets and the clasps are impossible to get off your self and I was looked at with the rudest face ever when I asked for help. All the employees that weren't with customers were sitting on their phones texting. It's a fine experience, as this store is easy to find near the 1st floor and center of South Coast Plaza. I entered already knowing the size and shoe style that I wanted to purchase for the wife, so I did not really receive much service or help from the staff. The pricing has not fluctuated too much, which has been nice as I have even seen fast food prices mark up their items. The store itself is clean, there was plenty of staff around to help basically all the customers, and the only issue I experienced was that I ended up waiting longer due to some technical issues with their payment system. However, the associate was quick to acknowledge the issue and appreciated my patience, and also bagged my purchased item into a gift bag even without my request. I believe this is one of the worst TB stores. Customer service is extremely poor if you're even lucky to get someone to do their job. I went in to exchange shoes and suddenly some random person text me named Samantha. She was not a good SA I would hit her up no response. I would call complain and the person on the other end would say she heard they don't return calls. I use to shop in Charlotte NC loved Brittany but she quit. Now there's a sale going on and it's so sad I'm shopping in OHIO they treat me better than these people. And they can see I spend good money I'm a Tory Girl. There's never a reason for salespeople to be snooty but...Tory Burch, you're not Chanel (and even they can be warm). So the sales people here need get off their high horses and crack a smile. I've been to this store repeatedly and it's always bothered me how the attitude is "You need us, we do not need you". Also, what's up with the split roles? Ask one person for shoes and we have to wait for yet another person who we haven't seen bring us shoes? Cut to this past weekend. Mom and I walked in - I saw a pair of shoes on sale on their website and was curious to know if they had it to try on in store. We walked in, one lady in the front room looked up and said "Welcome! How are you?" I said "Great, thanks, how about yourself?" as I proceeded to the back room. Another lady on some tablet, looked up and stared at me like I had four heads and when I said a bright "hi!" to her, only continued to stare at us as we walked past her. On our way out, she looked up again and without a word stared us down as we left. No smile, nothing. Not sure what crawled up her crack but we were dressed nicely, very respectful, did not paw at the merchandise, did not require very much assistance other than ask a question about item availability from someone else. The lady who answered our question was also very serious. She's helped my friends and I out few times before and her attitude was definitely different when we were making purchases. Btw, we were the only people left in the store by the time we left. Even the staff at the premium luxury stores manage to scrape up snooty smiles and remember their manners when a potential customer walks in. Why not the folks here at TB? Great customer service by a young gentleman his name started with a j! The store was a bit to crowded but other then that it was good.

I was here this past weekend and I swear I used to have a really pleasant time shopping here. However, I was just here recently, and except for the sales associate who assisted me in getting a different size belt, the cashiers/other salespeople were very rude, unfriendly, and did not smile once. I agree with the other Yelpers that the service was not very good at all! It's hard to put my finger on anything specific that happened, but I felt like I was "in trouble" when I was paying for my belt. It felt like the cashier did not want to be there and spoke only when spoken to, and her responses were very short. During the transaction, she kept chatting with her co-workers and it felt like I was invisible. As for inventory, there were very limited handbags and wallets. Perhaps everything got bought pre-Christmas. As for cardigans, there were only two or three different styles. The whole place appeared ransacked and the sales associates were very low-energy for the most part. There was a very depressing aura about the store for some reason. PRO TIP: Get the free coupon book from the Main Court business/welcome center to get 10% off your entire purchase! Can be stacked on top of any sales/promotions going on at the moment! read more

She said it is only online but I've been in the store before and I have seen it. She had the audacity to say the style is old when it had only been 2 months since I had seen the bag. My mother has also bought sandals from here before and the way it was packaged was horrendous. It was a long day. There is this really nice couch in the back where I can sit. No one bothered me. I think they were all well aware that I was not there to shop. Five stars. They handled my in-laws. My review is based on their products. For the full selling price, my expectation is that the product wouldn't peel. My bag is in perfect condition and the handles are peeled. Versus their competitors, they don't have a repair option. They also only warranty their bags for a year. Although Burberry/Gucci and LV are more expensive, I think their products sustain longer and are worth the investment. read more

I'm a huge fan of Tory Burch. My shoe section of my closet is getting overrun by Tory Burch boxes haha. I've bought from this store a few times and love it! CUSTOMER SERVICE: The customer service has always been great at this store location for me. Very helpful and friendly. PRODUCTS: Well, like I said before I'm a huge fan. However, I must clarify my review on the product is shoes and accessories. I like their clothes, but I don't feel like they fit my more hourglass shape as well as some other brands do - so that is why I haven't bought any clothes yet. I love their shoes. They are very classic styles that will stay in fashion for a very long time. They are very high quality as well. My only complaint is sometimes the Reva flats rub some black dye off on the bottom of your foot, but none of my other flats or heels do that. I have some other accessories that I really like as well, such as: earrings, bracelets, belts and purses. They are all very stylish, classic and high quality. OVERALL: This store is great. I am sad to see such terrible customer service come out of such a great brand. MS. TORY BURCH IF YOU READ THIS: YOU COULD DO BETTER WITHOUT THE MEDIOCRE LINE-LEVEL EMPLOYEES. The South Coast Plaza store in particular is pretty bad. If the employees were less concerned about their personal agenda or what's going on in so and so's life and more about helping the customers with genuine customer care (especially because it's WORK, not PERSONAL TIME) it might boost the shopping experience there. Also, I called one time to check if they had a size in something another store confirmed South Coast's Tory Burch had (by looking in their computer system) and the female sales associate said,"We've never even heard of that." She made me feel as if I were burdening her as I tried to explain how I saw it online and that the other store even confirmed that they had it. I absolutely adore all of Tory Burch's collection, well most of it at least, however I am saddened by the lack of training or care put into their hiring. Took a trip to south coast plaza yesterday evening to find a cute and dainty handbag for my mom. No one greeted me upon initial walk in. It wasn't until I stood there for roughly 10 minutes with the bag i wanted in hand that anyone said anything to me. I've NEVER been conscious about the girth of my toes. I bought the Serena metallic flats, which are exactly like the Revas, so I'm not sure why the separate name. My BIG toe was squished by the iconic logo metal plate at the toe box. Understand that I have BABY toes, NO really, they are small, I'm breaking out the measuring tape: Big toe length: 1 1/2" Big toe circumference: 2 3/4" Little toe length: 1" Little toe circumference: 1 1/2" Soft leather and great color options. Look guys, it is always a minefield when buying for the women in your life. Sizes, styles, colors... How many purses does a woman need? I digress. My wife likes the brand, so it is an easy place to shop. The products are pretty straight forward and classic, so if you have an idea of what she likes, you should be able to pick something up. They use good quality materials and are well built, but not nearly as expensive as the super luxury brands out there, a nice line. The staff is nice and helpful, and the store does have seating if you are drug in there against your will. read more
