I went to this location yesterday to get two bracelets and the customer services was just horrible. They made me feel like trash. I was not greeted when I walked in . The "lady" there only stared at me. When I walked towards the back I ran into 3 sales associate and was only stared at again. As I didn't see the bracelets I was looking for, walked back to the front of the store and some Asian people walked in with expensive purses and they were treated like royalty. I then asked a sales person for the bracelets and she never smiled at me, treated me like my money wasn't worth it, just horrible service. I seriously felt like crying as they made me feel so little. Snooty, rude people. Like if they owned the store. I wish they didn't get commission from my sale. I was very disappointed with the customer service here. I'm not sure why they have 3 stars. This is not the first time I've been here. The first time I came here I was not approached by any sale associate and was looking to buy a gift for my sister. I thought to myself maybe it was a bad day, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and come back. There was not any difference! Again I came in and wasn't greeted or asked if I needed assistance. They were too busy attending other people and when a sale associate was available she just kept walking around and ignored me. What the hell?! I am interested in purchasing something that's why I am in here! After 10 minutes of looking at a few designs I liked and was willing to purchase I left. If this is the type of customer service they are going to offer then might as well take my money elsewhere. Also the store is extremely small and in turn they don't have a lot of selection. Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a few reasons: - to exchange the ella QUILTED MINI TOTE + robinson ZIP CONTINENTAL WALLET - to return the METAL HINGED BRACELET for my Fitbit As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by everyone. We were actually overwhelmed with the excellent customer service and treatment we were getting in every section of the store. While walking through the store, this man was carrying a tray full of drinks and it looked heavy, so I took a glass of champagne, okay, maybe 2 glasses. I know, I'm so nice. This other man was carrying a tray full of Tory Burch cookies, so I helped him, too. To make a long story short, I left the store with complete satisfaction. We ended up leaving the store with a newly exchanged metal hinged bracelet for my Fitbit and robinson PEBBLED OPEN DOME SATCHEL + matching wallet. read more

I had purchased a couple of handbags online that I wanted to return, and happened to be 1 day over their 30-day return period. I called Tory Burch online's customer service, and spoke to a "i-could-care-less" representative who informed me that their policy is their policy, sorry. Oh, and return shipping costs are my responsibility. Okay. I decided to drive down to SCP and return in person; it would be faster and gas was about the same as return postage. A friendly salesperson greeted me and assured me that it would be no problem to process the refund. She took the items to the back and voila, 5 minutes later it was completed. She even offered us bottles of chilled water! How sweet. I checked out their products in-store but nothing really caught my eye. I think their outlet has a wider variety of handbags for sale. To reiterate - bonus points for the in-store service; online and over-the-phone customer service is terrible. If you plan to return something, watch those return dates carefully! 30 days for regular items and 15 days for sale items, I believe. read more

Went into the store today and it reminded me to purchase my torys from Nordstroms or online. I have several pairs of torys ranging from the revas to boots to heels so I am very familiar with the sizing and styles. I asked to try the revas in a 6 and the lady said it wasn't available but I could try on another style in a 6. She said it was the Minnie travel and I told her it's not the same. She insisted in a rude way that the fit is the same and when I tried them on, it was obviously different as the revas don't have the elastic in the back. I expect Tory burch stores to provide excellent customer service and knowledgable salespeople. This location does not offer that so don't waste your time and shop at Nordstroms or another location. read more

I never really frequented Tory Burch. Never was into their shoes, clothes, bags. The perfume, though, is great! However, friends were having a charity event at TB so my boyfriend and I stopped in for a while to see what the goods were for me to choose from. The store is quite lovely and the clothes look good on the hanger. I like the shoe room. So many choices and styles...and handbags and scarves. The sofa needs replacing as it's VERY saggy. In spite of that, I found a great pair of suede pumps (been on the lookout for a while now) so was happy when the bf got them for me :) It was after all, for charity. I had great service from Ariana; actually all the staff were helpful. I didn't understand the purchasing process as the cash registers are out of sight. But I love my new shoes! read more

Wow, only 3 stars. I'm surprising. I was here once for a pair of flats. I really like the customer service to me. The sale associates here were very nice, and friendly. They talked to customers while waiting for checking out in the back. This store usually take your cards and charge for the purchase in the back, you just have to wait up front. And I think that was a very professional way of checking out, instead of lining up at the cashier like other stores. I also made a purse return here even though I got it online via their website. They were very happy to refund me, no question asked. Overall, I would recommend this place for any Tory Burch fans! read more

I went in over a week ago to look at bags. Knew I wasn't going to buy that day, but was greeted by Ariana. Such a doll! She instantly made my friend and I feel so welcomed. Asked if we were looking for anything particular. Explained I was just looking for now until I could come back in with my brother in about a week. Normally that would steer a sales person off but not Ariana! She was more than helpful almost felt like I was shopping with a girlfriend. She kindly took my information down and gave me her card. This evening I happened to go back in to buy my bag and wallet ( that Ariana helped me look for and gave me complete product knowledge on). As I'm walking in.... Crossing my fingers she'll be working, and there she was. Not only did Ariana remember me, there was still no pressure to buy. After making my purchase she managed to go over cleaning and everything with me!! Most sales persons would ring you up and leave. I'd have to say I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and beyond satisfied with the customer service I received by Ariana! If I could I'd give her 10 stars. Putting aside the fact that it's the busiest time of the year for any store and that it did take a while for me to reach them over the phone, their customer service was excellent. I spoke to a few different associates, I'm not sure exactly which one solved my issue in the end, but the names that I can remember are Anna and Angela. I purchased something over the phone from a completely different city, and they were able to help me find exactly what I needed. Knowing that the sale is going on right now I can only imagine how busy they are, but yet they still took all of my phone calls, answered all of my questions and helped ship my item right away and not once sounded annoyed or aggravated. I can't believe there's so many negative reviews! I had a great experience when I went shopping there. The lady that helped me offered me refreshments because i was waiting to see if they had a particular shoe (Kaitlyn pump) in stock. When they didn't have the shoe in stock, they offered to order it for me. I needed the shoe that day because I was leaving on a trip the next day, and the associate offered to help me look at Nordstroms and Saks. I admit that it took me a while to get someone's attention and to help me, but I could tell they were just really busy and all the employees had their hands full. Patience, people! I can understand from other peoples' reviews of being treated differently if you don't look all fancy, but that's like.... alll of South Coast Plaza. Luckily, I look fllyyy haha. The clothes are beautiful. Of course it can get a little pricy for the average joe. But I save and splurge every now and then. I have been shopping at Tory Burch at South Coast for several years. I usually go in early in the Spring to buy for the entire spring and summer and then again in the fall. This last time I bought 3 pairs of shoes, 2 handbags and a cute wallet. Recently, I got out my clothes for the summer and found a similar bag that I bought last year from Tory. I went back to the store to exchange it and found out that my purchase was past the 30 days. So, they said sorry but no exchanges or returns.... It doesn't matter to the company how much you purchased and what a loyal customer you are.... I have never returned anything to Tory and was not aware of their return policy. These are the policies that make me as a consumer shop at stores that know you and have a better return policy. All I can tell you that I went next door to Stuart Weitzman and bought two new handbags and a pair of shoes. I also went to another store and bought a couple cute outfits. I guess Tory doesn't understand their are lots of choices and for me that means thousands of dollars you will not get from me each year. read more

Two weeks ago, i saw an ad on FB that they have a promo up to 30% off fall event. I ordered three purses online and received them in 2-3 days. I decided to return one of them because the color was not what I expected in store. When I was at this store, I was informed they couldn't accept PayPal return and I had to do it online. However, the guy who helped me was nice enough to process the return and email me the return shipping label. Unfortunately when I opened the email, he didn't create a shipping label. He created a return slip in store. I was told I couldn't do it in store. Now I had no shipping label. I had to call their customer service. The person who helped me on the phone had to "pretend" to return my other bag in order to get a new return shipping label for me. Tory Burch, please get your IT to update your return process. This is so messed up! this customer service lady then notified this store location regarding to the mixed up. The assistant general manager gave me a call to apologize about my experience. She also promised to mail me a coupon for 30% off for friends and family. This was last week. The friends and family promo was for this week. Never received the coupon either. It was nice that she called but don't promise things you don't plan to do. I am disappointed of their customer service. They made it look like they really went out of their way to help but in reality, that's not true! They made it worse. read more

My husband bought me 2 pairs of shoes for Christmas and they charged him twice for the shoes. When he told them of their mistake they were rude to him and said they'll refund it but it will take 5 business days. It is days before Christmas and we are going to be out several hundred dollar till after Christmas is over. I had a similar incident happen to me back in July. This store is horrible! If you're on a budget dont shop here because they tend to charge you twice and charge you when they are supposed to be refunding you. So, Tory Burch has been here for about a year. They have settled down in this store. When it first opened everyone was a ll hot and bothered to get in and snap everything up. The salesgirls were having a field day since they basically were selling out of things before they even hit they floor. You can buy T.B elsewhere and the market is a bit over-saturated so the frenzy is down to a dull roar. Yes, it is still crowded some days but the girls are much nicer now. The clothes just don't fit everyone great. If you are 5'9 or taller and a size 2,4 or 6 they look great on you. But if you've got a bit of muscle and are 5'5, not so cute anymore. Very waspy, South Hampton, Capri -ish. The real deal here are the well priced shoes. Comfy and under $300. read more

I love Tory Burch. I love the store here in San Diego so much, that when I came up to South Coast, I definitely thought it would exceed my expectations. My 5 stars are not only for the designer, but also for their selection and nice customer service from Hugo. (Not to mention their yelp rating does need a little boost.) I bought a pair of Reva because I have always needed a new pair of flats, although never got around to buying them. So, they are so unbelievably comfortable and easy to wear, which is definitely worth the $195. Hugo had awesome customer service, he even went out of his way to find me any colors I may like, and didn't seem bothered by my pickiness as a customer. Usually I don't like dry and u friendly attitude of the staff however, Suyen made me have a total different experience. She is the sweetest sales person that I have ever met. Not only that she is so professional, but she is also friendly, kind and knows her stuff. Went to TB return shoes and was waiting for long time for help so I asked the first salesperson can I return my shoes I was waiting for awhile...and she took away my return item, and I was still waiting for long time so I asked the second salesperson has my return done yet? And I found out the first salesperson didn't even do my return, she just put my return item on the table and then the second salesperson told me they lost my receipt and she asked me do I remember how much I pay for the item which I wanted to return..anyway after I told her the total and I say I paid by cash..and she tells me she can't return cash to me..can she return to my debit card. It's such a madhouse in here on the weekends. I had a return to do from an online order and instead of shipping it back, I decided to brave the mall and go to the store. It helps when there's a store at South Coast Plaza. So for the price of gas and a lunch date with a friend, I walked into Tory Burch to return my purchases. The sales assistant immediately asked for the sales receipt and card I used for the return. Note, I have an issue with this because of all the stories regarding credit card skimmers. I asked her if I could do this at the register. Apparently I could not because their registers are in the back. So for future reference, you cannot buy anything at the register. They take your card to the back where you are charged or reimbursed in my case. The sales girl brings out my card and a receipt for me to sign on a cute little clipboard while I get to sit on the couch. Hmmm, I guess this isn't too bad. But the store was crowded. They had their hands full that day with customers trying on shoes. My experience would have been more pleasant had the store been less busy but that's ok, I didn't buy anything. read more

My first visit I was very disappointed by the service I received I think many SAs judge you by the way you dress or look and I think that everyone should be given exceptional service no matter what! I went in to get a new pair of millers I'm always iffy about going into these stores because I always feel like I don't get the best quality service so I prefer to shop online, while making my purchase I inquired about some metallic millers I had purchased which I had worn about 3 times and had already faded I was told to leave a review online and nothing could be done so I was just like ok. After reviewing my visit I was contacted by the General manger Kristine we spoke about my experience and she made sure that my issue was handled and made sure the quality issue was fixed regarding the defective millers, I left the store with 2 new pairs and I appreciated her level of service to her customers, thanks to her I will be returning in the near future! read more

The flats are great and one of my favorite types of shoes. Almost every season, there is another pair that I want. However, the service here is not great. The people are kind of snobby and standoffish. The don't really help you unless you look super rich. I think it's easier just to buy them from Bloomingdale's or Nordstrom since the service there is better most of the time. read more

Won't be shopping here ever again. I will just shop at nordstroms. Went in to buy a Christmas gift for a friend. Got the sandals, gave them to her, needed a size up. Went in to return sandals but didn't not have in stock. That ordeal took about an hour. They find the sandal at a different store and offer to send it to my home. A month later, nothing. I go back and they check and it had never been processed. I ended up getting the same sandal in a different color because I just wanted to get out of there. All the employees talk over their stupid head sets. It takes forever for someone to respond. They didn't offer any sort of discount or money back. Just water or soda.
