I was shocked at how many items were out of stock! They will order anything you want, but it takes 7 days for it to ship to the store. If there is a specific item you want, I suggest calling ahead to make sure it's in stock. If not, it's easier and quicker to just order online. I ended up having to buy a display bag because it was the last one in the store. And no, there are no discounts for display items. The lady that assisted me was very very helpful and nice. And patient! I agonized over which color to buy for at least 30 minutes, and she never rushed me or lost her patience. Instead, she helped me choose! She also suggested the chain without even knowing I wanted it! I had planned to buy it later, but after seeing it on the bag I was sold. Went in on Monday January 5th and I was helped by Ingrid and Jimena. They were soooo incredibly nice and patient. I hope I don't mix up the girls but I believe I was initially helped by Ingrid before she had to go home and as soon as I walked in she knew it was me who called as she remembered what I called for and saw me walk right towards the bag I had asked about. I thought that was very nice of her to be kind and very helpful! She showed me some purses. When I couldn't decide and it was time for her to go home Jimena took over and also was very helpful. She kept showing me all the purses I asked about and she showed me how to style the charms my husband bought me. Both girls gave me their honest opinion which I value more than someone trying to upsell you. They were both genuine and kind. Went to the Coach store around 7:25pm. There was no one else in the store except three employees. They were all huddling around a table, on their phones, and talking. Totally understand it's late and they weren't busy, but I wasn't greeted at all. Again, no big deal. My problem is that I genuinely had questions and wanted to know more info about the tabby bag that I've been wanting to buy. No one approached me as I was holding the different bags and I kept eyeing them hoping one of them would get the hint. No one did. I ended up just walking out. 5 star customer service, 4 stars for the merchandise. We went into buy some gifts and received great help from Vanessa, who showed us what we wanted to see: wristlets. We let her know the wristlets were gifts and she had them gift wrapped free of charge. She printed out gift receipts, too. She also informed us that they do free monogramming in-store. She was definitely very helpful and saved us time. I think what they are offering is better than what I had seen in my previous review of 2008. The men's shoes (sneakers) looked good. I didn't really look around too much as it was towards closing, but I'm sure if I had looked around more, I would have seen things I wanted to buy for myself. The best Coach store in LA! I came here to check out their Dark Fairytale collection since I recall that this place getting all the good stuff, compared to the locations back home in Sacramento. I was shocked at the large amount of goodies found here. They even had stuff like the Spooky eyes accessories and guitar straps and even the stickers that have been sold out online! So if you find something that you want from Dark Fairytale that appears to be sold out online, give this store a call and see if they carry it. I remembered ordering a "Happy" sticker in Roseville and guess what? It was shipped from THIS VERY STORE. I even saw a jar full of stickers too! How cool was that! Oh and they also had all the keychains too. Oh so cool!! All the sales associates were super sweet, cheerful and helpful. I can tell they were very excited for the collection as I am. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and are a fan of Disney! Oh! They also have a really cool Dark Fairytale "castle" display in front of Macy's on the first floor. I went to buy a purse for my mom and left with extra things for myself. Nick was incredibly friendly and helpful! He was so patient with me and made sure I was aware of any of the limited edition Disney x Coach items I might have missed before they were gone based on my purse. I was so grateful he suggested the wider matching straps. They make the purse feel feather light compared to the thin one that comes with the purse. I loved how Nick also took the time to explain the features on the Bandit Hobo 39 bag. I was only going to buy one for my mom but ended up buying one for myself also. I was also not aware that Coach provides care for all their bags. I never thought I would say it, but I have become such a fan. BEWARE. WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER. Came into the store today, greeted by a female Asian sales, long hair. I told her that I was looking for leather cleaning moisturizer and was told that I can't take a look unless I want to buy it. I'm like wtf? After the female sales refused to show me the kit, I searched online and decided I'm going to get it. I asked the other male Asian sales (tall and wear glasses) if I can take a look at the cleaning kit, he showed me the kit and checkout for me. Later, I found out that Coach online store is 30%off everything, so I went back to the store and ask them how come I didn't get the discount? Guess what the guy said, he said "it's only like one dollar difference" with a sarcastic voice and look at me like I'm a poor college student. The tracking number for 12/6 was invalid and as of 12/23 (2.5 weeks) has not been delivered. The 12/10 order has not even left their warehouse as of 12/23 (2.5 weeks). I received a Coach handbag for Christmas and wanted to get back to the store to exchange it. Was I crazy to attempt to take it back the day after Christmas? Maybe, but I was off to SCP, and there was no turning back! A friendly sales associate put the items I wanted on hold over the phone earlier in the day. After an hour worth of waiting to get into the parking lot and walking to the store, I was finally at the Coach entrance. Like a fish swimming against the tide of post-holiday shoppers, I was so relieved to actually be in the store. Salespeople were friendly and tried to help people as quickly as possible. Since I was doing an exchange and had the things I wanted already on hold, I was able to get into line at laser-like speed. The staff was so helpful, considering how busy it was. After a half an hour in the store, I was already back to my car and ready to go. I really appreciate the great customer service I always receive at this Coach location. My friend got invited to the Coach Fall 2014 Preview private event, and took me as her guest. Yay!! When we walked into the store, we were handed champagne and hors d'oeuvres. Champagne tasted delicious and I enjoyed the small bites- yummy! The store had alot of new items, which was exciting and fun to see. My biggest problem was the Asian sales associate that we had to deal with... multiple times in the course of one hour. She first asked us if we needed any help, to which I responded that we wanted to just browse and take a look around. Suddenly, she starts speaking in Chinese to us. Uh... what the hell? Yes I am Chinese, but isn't it kind of rude to just assume we are Chinese and not, let's say... Japanese or Korean? It's just odd. I've never been in any store before where they just suddenly started speaking Chinese to me. 10 minutes later, she came back and literally pushed a bag into our faces, telling us it's her favorite and we should look at it. When my friend and I gave no particular response and said that we are, yes, STILL looking around, she proceeded to hound my friend with this very blunt and rude question, "Are you from China?" Just wow... wtf is wrong with this woman? My friend responded quickly, "No... I'm from Taiwan." What does our nationality have to do with ANYTHING when it comes to Coach bags? So incredibly unprofessional! First speaking to us in Chinese, then directly asking us if we're from China. The other associates were friendly and not so pushy. I love Coach! I am not rich and cannot afford bags from Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc. But I am fine with it and have been buying from Coach for years. I like their style of handbags and wallets - not too crazy but not too plain and everything is well made - I haven't had anything break on me yet! I also appreciate the 25% off postcards that come in the mail every once in a while. The layout of the store is great, everything is well organized and easy to find. However, the employees can get kind of annoying. You walk in, one of the employees welcome you to the store, they tell you about any sales that are going on or where the new items are located, and they ask if they can help you with anything. Ok cool, so someone has acknowledged my presence in the store and offered help. Me: I'm just looking around, thanks. Employee: Oh sure, let me know if you need any help. As soon as I pick up a bag and look at it, the same employee races up to me: Employee: Are you shopping for a gift or for yourself? Me: Myself. Employee: Do you have any questions? Me: No, I'm just checking it out, thanks. Then I pick up another bag that catches my eye. Employee: This bag is great because blah blah blah blah..... You should look at this blue one too, it's really nice. Gosh, can I just shop in peace? I really don't need your comments EVERY TIME I look at a different bag, geeeez!! If I need your help I'll ask, thank you! Anyway, I really like the stuff here, just wish the employees would back off a bit! Also, make sure you inspect whatever you buy. The customer service here is very hit or miss. I came here once and Catherine was the greatest manager ever. Then I got the crappiest service from Tatiana, who rather chat with a "better" customer than help me with my shoes. Well, they temporarily moved location next to the carousel, and I went here to buy a ring. Its not an expensive ring ($58) but that's not the issue here, is it? The gal helping me saw me looking at the ring, and I told her I wanted one in size 7. The only one left was the display, and she was going to wrap it up. I told her I wanted a "new" one, which she replied it was new. I meant, not man-handled by 100s of people. I have no idea why she was doing EVERYTHING possible from ordering it online for me.
