went to pacsun irvine yesterday and saw a top on a mannequin. found it on the sales floor but didn't have my size. the one on the mannequin was the size i was looking for. i asked one of the female employees and immediately after was slammed with "we can't take clothing off the mannequins". another employee that was by us just asked another employee to see which item it was and get it for us in front of her. I don't usually write reviews, but I had such a great experience that I had to share. I had placed a pickup order and stopped by expecting it to be ready--but unfortunately, it wasn't. Normally that would be super frustrating, especially since I was only in the area for the day and wouldn't be able to come back. But the manager, Ethan, completely turned the situation around. As soon as he realized what was going on, he jumped in and personally made sure my order was pulled together right away. He was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about helping me out. He kept me updated while he got everything ready and made what could have been a stressful experience into a really positive one. Thanks to Ethan, I left with everything. There's a Pacsun right by my house, but I work at the Spectrum. I'll definitely be coming to this location every time in the future. Jennifer and Junior went above and beyond to help me find a gift for my wife. She asked for something specific, and they knew exactly what she wanted. They were helpful the entire time I was there, and were so personable from beginning to end. They certainly deserve a raise and some praise. I've shopped at PacSun for years, but my recent experience with an employee named Grace has made me question whether I'll ever set foot in that store again. Grace is, without a doubt, the most unprofessional, rude, and utterly useless employee I've ever encountered in retail. I've never met someone who so clearly despises their job and takes it out on the customers. Grace is a perfect example of what's wrong with retail today - lazy, rude, and completely checked out. She has no business working in customer service and is a black mark on the PacSun brand. read more

So I was in Irvine Spectrum for some shopping and decided to stop by the Pac Sun. I was looking for some Fear Of God Essentials collection and one of the employees, Kayani was so helpful! She let me know that she had some in the back and searched for about 10 minutes and she came out with the last T-Shirt they had in my size!! Kayani is definitely a rock star and I appreciate her helping me find what I was looking for. The manager and the other employees were very kind as well. I just want to start off by saying that I'm not the type to leave reviews in general but my experience at this Pacsun made me irritated enough to share it here on Yelp. Hopefully this review reaches out to make others aware of what to expect when shopping here in the future. I came here on 07/29 to check out the store and browse for a bit. It was pretty busy and the store appeared somewhat messy with several clothes crumpled up and lying on the floor. I found a cute shirt and went to the cashier area to pay. Upon arriving, I saw an older lady who was about to start paying, and two teenage girls behind her. I stood behind the teenage girls thinking they were in line. I noticed that the male cashier working at the desk was making friendly conversation with the older woman and greeted her nicely. Once she finished paying, I tried to ask the cashier if I was in the correct spot in line. He ignored me and greeted the teenage girls in front of me. I assumed that he did not hear me and waited. Meanwhile, I also noticed another girl and guy with her was waiting next to me and I thought that they were behind me in line. Once the girls were done paying, I went up to the cashier and saw that the girl next to me went up at the same time I did. We both looked confused but the girl stood back and I went up and apologized if it seemed that I was cutting in line. The cashier did not say anything and didn't talk at all the whole time. After I finished paying, he just shoved the shirt into the bag and threw it towards me without saying anything at all. I felt uncomfortable and awkward the whole time because I saw how friendly he was to the older woman and the teenage girls before me and I expected to get the same treatment as them, but he never greeted me and acted cold towards me for the whole transaction. I really hate bringing up race as an excuse in an argument, but I have a slight feeling that he acted this way because of my appearance. I'm asian and I've never dealt with this kind of experience before growing up in Irvine with several asian/caucasian friends. And seeing how friendly he was to the older white lady and the teenage girls (who were also white), I just assumed that he was unfriendly to me because I wasn't caucasian. The cashier is also white (as you can expect), he had wavy brunette hair, was wearing a green(?) cardigan, tall, and looked college aged (not that it matters but adding it here in case someone might know who he is). This whole transaction felt very unprofessional and rude. I've came to this Pacsun before but never had any negative experiences unlike this one. This cashier's age and race doesn't give him the excuse to act cold and hostile towards a paying customer. I've even had better service at the Brandy Melville at the spectrum despite their reputation, which is surprising given how caucasian dominant their brand is. This experience (and past negative experiences at other pacsuns) will deter me from shopping at pacsun in the future. read more

pacsun has been the most horrible shopping experience ever. the clothing is good and affordable, however the shipping time is insane. I payed extra for 3 day shipping and its been well over a week with no packages coming any time soon. They keep shipping it around to different states and they keep delaying it. I was supposed to recieve the package 9pm last night but they shipped it to a new facility and now I am stuck waiting again. this is horrible and such a scam. I PAYED EXTRA FOR FASTER SHIPPING. I called over just a few minutes ago for help finding a shirt that the online communicated was in their location. The first time a male picked up with a "Hello" no "this is Pac Sun, how can I help you" not a warm welcoming feeling and hung up on me. So I called back, the same "Hello" picked up. I had explained I was looking for a shirt and online had communicated it was there. Described it, told the color, and said what the graphic was. I work as a Store Manager in a local mall so I know if I give the item/sku number from online it will communicate what the item is. I got immediately turned down. I was told that the online store isn't accurate, which I understand because my store is the same way, but he wouldn't even try to go look. Didn't even try to take the online item/sku to look up. I had said so no one can help me try to look? I shocked to hear "no" I hung up and ordered the shirt online instead. This is why customers turn to online Vs come to the store. We spent about $300 there and when we got home we realized the young guy cashier forgot to put my granddaughters earrings in the bag. We called right away and they acknowledged they were there at the counter. They would not send them to us in an envelope, credit our card we payed with or even give us the name of the manager who we were speaking with. She said she didn't feel comfortable giving it to us. Went in today to buy a shrug. The floor was a mess so I asked the the lady (Hispanic, short, with black hair) who seemed to be the manager if she had a shrug I saw online in stock. She immediately said "no we don't but let me go check." Then she comes out with a handful of the shrugs that she initially said she didn't have and I proceeded to the register. I asked if they could price match at the register bc I've had it done for me before and the guy said "no." Confused I said "are you sure?" in the least confrontational tone possible and before he could respond the rude manager from earlier butted in and defensively stated "we don't price match honey." Remember when PacSun was popular? Most malls had them, but now most of their stores are closed. When you go in, you can see why they are about to go bankrupt. Clothes that most people won't wear. Few selection. Horrible designs. Atlanta hawks nba clothes. Like there are any hawks fans at all, let alone in Irvine. Overpriced to the extreme. $50 bucks for a pair of shorts. Why oh why? 10/6/2020 Walked in hoping to get a cute top or two after I had finished class. Was very surprised to see that of the 4 employees in the front, one had their mask on their chin. Then, the back door opened, and there had to be about 8 other employees, ALL of them either not wearing a mask properly, or not at all. At first I was going to try and get a dressing room to try something on, and made eye contact with one of the employees but she just looked down and walked past me. The employees at the front were just talking to each other and made no effort to seem welcoming. I don't want to get anyone fired, but maybe a few more training sessions would work. All of the employees are young, but like everyone else, hold the responsibility of wearing a mask properly. read more

I just want to say that customer service at the PacSun Spectrum location is definitely hard at work! Daniel the manager and Kim were both very friendly and helpful when I was distraught and thought I forgot my receipt when trying to make a return. Daniel offered to look up my purchase using the phone number that we use to get loyalty points. The store was very busy when we were there and it was a Saturday, but he still went out of his way to help me out.... that's taking care of the customer and what I consider great customer service!! This location is not the closest to me, and parking is a hassle most of the time since the mall is always very busy, I really try to avoid going to this mall, but the people who work here definitely made the trip worthwhile, they took care of me and my daughters as customers, and even gave me helpful tips on where to park when I shop there next time! Can't thank the manager Darwin enough. Had a problem with a gift card. I tried using it online and it didn't work. Went in to the store and it still didn't work. Cashier checked to see if there is a balance. She confirms it. Darwin comes over and immediately says let me call IT. He believed it was a computer error since I provided him a copy of the receipt from the gift card. IT tells him there's nothing they can do and to tell the customer they can't use it today. Darwin tells them that's not going to work and that I wanted to use it that day. He contacts customer service. After about 10 mins he fixes the problem and my gift card is available to use. That's the way customer service should be at every store! He easily could of taken no for an answer after talking to I.T. but he didn't and I appreciate that! Keep up the good work! read more

Pacsun has always been a favorite of mine. Never have had any bad things to say about it ! Although, I recently visited the Irvine Spectrum Pacsun and It was unpleasant. Messy place but It did not bother me. I was happily shopping until an employee named Bri called me out on walking into an area I was not supposed to. I understand she was doing her job but she could have been less passive aggressive. I accidentally walked in between the registers, not knowing both sides were registers of course. It is designed like a clear open walkway. One side looks like a register and the other like a table for clothes. No signs for customers to be sure not to walk through. I hadn't noticed it was solely an employee walkway until I walked by. I was called out by Bri in a uneasy manner. I felt disrespected but understood ! It must be tiring telling customers over and over again so I said for sure and kept shopping ! I cannot speak for another person but as I was by the check out, I noticed she was unkindly snatching a shirt from a customers hand and simply not being too nice. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it was unsettling. Definitely not going back ! read more

I was very impressed. It was a busy Saturday, lots of people in line at the register and the fitting room. Yekta was conscious of who needed help. She also made sure to tell us which clothes qualified for buy one get one 50% off. She helped us when one of the items was questionable for the sale and promptly offered to address the manager on our behalf to see if she could help us. Wonderful experience. Never in my life have i gone into a PacSun or any other retail store and been treated so rudely. My daughter shops at PacSun on a weekly basis, it's one of her favorite stores. 8/10/19 we went to Irvine Spectrum Center's PacSun for the first time and wasn't greeted or acknowledged by the two girls working the front. They were ignoring all of the customers and jus focused on the front tables, folding & refolding. No eye contact, nothing. At one point i asked one of the girls that was folding the front tables about a shirt that was there and she didn't even look up. We left. I refuse to spend one dime in a store that has employees that don't care about their customers. PacSun u should really look into the quality workers u hv here. read more

Went today to pick up a t-shirt I ordered online. Process went by pretty smooth and 2 kind girls helped me out. Took less than 5 minutes. They made conversation with me and asked me about the shirt I got and told me they like it! So that's great customer service for me. Store is very clean and well organized, and 99% of the time someone is ready to help you out if you need something. They have so many cool designs on their clothing that you won't find anywhere else! However, they only got 4 stars because of the prices. They are definitely way over-priced and I wish their prices were a little lower so I could shop their more often. It is also not just about the money but it is about the value. I don't mind paying 28$ for a tee but if the quality doesn't seem like it's worth the money than I won't. Anyways pass by and you'll be sure to find something you like to hit the beach or pool in this summer! Most days they have deals like buy 1 get 1 50% OFF.
