However, I didn't find the selection of clothing here as cute as what I've seen at the San Diego location. Of course, inventory changes, but I was hoping to find more items that caught my eye. One thing to keep in mind is that they make customers wait in a line outside on weekends, so be prepared for a potential wait if you're planning to shop during busier hours. The cashier wasn't the friendliest and was condescending she was white and looked young, but my experience was still much better than the one I had with an employee at the San Diego location. She gave me a weird response when I asked about any changes to the refund policy since there's no fitting rooms now. I wanted to double check that I can return the items again if needed since I was using my gift card from a previous return. She replied back with "aren't you using a gift card right now." A strange response to a simple question she could've responded much friendlier. Customer service can really make or break a shopping experience with ridiculous return policies, but Brandy's are known to have the worst customer service experience hence all the bad reviews. Another downside is that they no longer have fitting rooms. There's a single mirror in the back where the fitting room area used to be, but you can't try anything on in the store. I overheard an employee explaining to a mother who asked about it that they removed all the fitting rooms because of theft. Because the store is one-size-fits-all and doesn't offer fitting rooms, I'm rating it much lower than I otherwise would. If customers can't try clothes on before purchasing, the refund policy should allow a full refund back to the original card, rather than limiting it to only store credit and having to return it in 21 days. The lack of fitting rooms makes it especially important to have a fair and flexible return policy. Overall, I'd choose this location over the San Diego one based on my customer service experience, but the clothing selection wasn't as appealing to me. The lack of fitting rooms is also inconvenient, especially when you're shopping for one-size clothing and can't try anything on before purchasing. I'd recommend checking the return policy before buying anything, and I hope they update it to allow full refunds back to the card if they aren't going to provide fitting rooms.

When I walked in today, the staff greeted me right away and asked if I was looking for anything specific. A refund for the missing item doesn't resolve the fact that I still don't have what I originally ordered, and I don't think customers should have to pay additional shipping costs to correct a fulfillment error. I appreciate the representative's professionalism, but Garage's resolution was 450 reward points and no way to receive the correct item without spending more money.
