This review is long overdue! We visited Windsor about three weeks ago while looking for a dress for my daughter's 8th-grade Coachella-themed dance. After having no luck elsewhere, we stopped into Windsor and were happy to find a great variety of dresses. From the moment we walked in, we received excellent customer service. The staff greeted us warmly and asked what we were looking for. I couldn't quite catch the associate's name--it may have been Hailey or Bailey--but she was amazing. She helped pair a cute belt with my daughter's dress and even gave us great ideas to complete her Coachella-themed outfit. There's a lack in customer service. I walked in there and the employees do not even look at you nor ask you if you need any help and seem bothered if you ask. I'd understand if they were extremely busy however they were about 2 customers in there not being helped. They NEVER answer their phone. I've called different times and their voicemail box is full. Haley was AMAZING!!!! She helped me find two dresses one for a wedding and another for upcoming holiday party! I told her about my midsection insecurities and she brought me undergarments to try and one worked! Next she found me gorgeous shoes in my size which is hard to find a 5.5. She was so patient and helped me look for black leggings which they were sold out of. I ran out of time and had to go to dinner otherwise I would have bought jewelry too. I really think Haley needs to be a manager one day, I was told she was assistant manager but she gave me the BEST experience!!! Could not believe the trash talk I heard between two employeesworking at this store. They were gossiping about another employee; making it even more distasteful. They spoke from one end of the store to the register, mid way in loud, discerning voices, as though I wasn't there. When I quietly, walked over to express that talking this way when a customer is present is inappropriate. I was given extreme rebuttal with full attitude. I was told that she will do what she wants and say what she wants at anytime. With that I left the store. Both these employees would not be on the floor as sales people if I ran this business. I wouldn't even want them in an office setting. The fact that they were gossiping is plain wrong. This store has cheap fabrics and a very high volume of merchandise, poorly constructed. It was before closing tonight, but close to it (8:50-ish), and as I was trying on clothes, one of the girls turned the lights completely off to try to rush us out of the store. It was pitch black in the dressing room. After a long time, the other girl asked the girl who turned off the lights to turn them back on. We left before closing at 9 and the girls were still organizing stuff, but their poor attitudes were inexcusable. We made sure to be respectful and leave before closing, but they were not. Racist employees!! Me and my friend who is a POC went to try on dresses. After waiting 40min in line a dressing room was available. My friend asked if we can go into the same dressing room. The white employee said no that it wasn't allowed. Which is understandable. Except there was 4+ white girls shoved into one of the dressing rooms already. I saw multiple groups of white ppl shoved into the dressing rooms yet for some reason all the POC women had to be in separate rooms. Yeah def racist establishment. Also the register customer service was SLOWWW we waited 30min just to get rung up. And once we got to the register the two employees right in front of us were complaining about their schedules and positions. She was trying to talk and scan at the same time which wasn't working and after multiple tries she stopped talking and scanned it. No wonder we had to wait so long. When I say this store and location is my go to one stop shop for a night out, date night, Brunch, happy hour and in my case today I was in need of a Christmas party dress! I absolutely came to the right place because I had so many options to choose from. I walked in and was greeted by Bailey, smiling and super friendly and willing to help AND she remembered me and what I came in for previously which was my Halloween costume! Was wowed again. Bailey connected me with Tonya who was absolutely a GEM. She had picked out for me so many dress options. She listened to what look I was going for and helped me find the right dress. Tonya's selection matched my vision that I wanted. Every single dress she picked out was clutch, beautiful, fit great! If I had 10 parties to go to I would have bought them ALL! I had the unfortunate experience of encountering the "Manager," Monica, during my recent visit to this establishment. I attempted to return a Christmas gift for my sister, but unfortunately, I had misplaced the tag. I was aware of the store's policy regarding returns without tags, which stated that refunds would not be granted. However, I explained to Monica that the tag had been removed because it was a Christmas gift, and I had the receipt as proof of purchase. To resolve the issue, I contacted Windsor customer service, who kindly granted me a one-time exception for a return without a tag. They promptly sent me a QR code via email, along with instructions to return the item to any of their stores. Excitedly, I returned to the store and presented the QR code to a sales associate. However, Monica insisted on calling customer service herself, leaving me waiting at the front counter. I found this unnecessary and rude. Monica hid in the back room so I didn't see or hear anything, it was 20 mins later she reappeared. After what felt like an eternity, Monica returned with a noticeable attitude and remained silent. Curious about the outcome of her conversation, I asked her what they had said. To my disappointment, she simply replied that they would email me a label to FedEx the item back. Confused, I questioned the difference between returning in-store or via FedEx, to which Monica shrugged her shoulders, offering no explanation. Concerned about not receiving any email, I expressed the need to verify the information since I hadn't heard the conversation and had no proof of an email receipt. I called customer service again, and the representative assured me that they could process my return using the QR code. Perplexed by Monica's unwillingness to comply, I handed her my phone, instructing her to speak with the representative. After their conversation, Monica asked me if I had the item for return, accompanied by an attitude. I pointed to the dress on the counter, and with a single tap on the iPad, she sent me an email confirmation of my return. Frustrated, I couldn't help but ask her, "Now, how difficult was that?" As I left the store, 45-minutes later-Monica began yelling at me for asking such a question. I calmly reminded her that I had visited the store over the weekend and received exceptional service from a lovely African American petite girl with beautiful eyelashes. This employee went out of her way to assist me, unlike Monica. I couldn't understand why Monica would argue with me when I had already obtained approval with the QR code. Her behavior made it seem as though I was personally stealing from her pocket. Monica should not be a manager, but that lovely African girl should be! This girl had a fantastic smile and a helpful attitude on December 31st. She was dynamic!! Monica, you are unprofessional and not management material. 1/3/2024 visit. It's been a stressful day looking for a last minute vacation wedding shopping and honestly I was avoiding this location for a long time as I did not have a great experience few months ago as no one even notice I was there and store was chaotic but this time was worth 5 star. Gael greeted me with smile and asked me what she can help me with (that's already a plus). She was already juggling 2 other customers but she came back with full ideas for the trip. I felt like I had a personal stylist with me :) even though she was busy, she made sure to check on me and get all sizes that I need plus extra styling tips head to toe. Just visited this store to purchase a few dresses. I was the only customer in the store. I passed the two ladies working several times and was never greeted. Neither even made eye contact. The quality is absolutely HORRID. I can't explain how much hatred I have for this store. The employees are also very rude. Haley went above and beyond to help us!!! Our shopping experience would have been entirely different without her. She's amazing!!! Haley is kind, knowledgeable, and super helpful. When we stepped into the store on Saturday (day before Mother's Day), it was so packed and crowded. It was sort of hard to navigate around the store because of all the people, and we had a dress we wanted but couldn't find the right size. Thankfully Haley was nearby. We asked for help, and she tracked down the LAST dress in the right size for my daughter. The dress was being tried on by another customer, and Haley patiently waited until the other customer was done trying it on. When she found out that that customer didn't want it, she grabbed it right away and brought it to us. Who does that?? Only Haley. She was amazing. Now my daughter will be wearing that dress to her graduation! Thank you so much, Haley! Your kindness made all the difference!!! read more

Windsor is a "go-to" must shop for anyone looking for semi-formal or formal attire (gowns, dresses, etc) and although you might have to forgo one on one customer service and do a bit of searching for your favorite style and size, you typically won't be disappointed. Plus, you can usually find most everything online in the unusual event that it's not in stock in the store! Windsor is notorious for having the most up to date fashions at a price point that is obtainable for most. Although if you're a last minute looker, keep in mind that because of their highly sought after dresses and apparel, the most popular styles and sizes have a tendency to sell out fairly fast...this is where online shopping is a lifesaver! But first try to go to an actual store and get an idea of your sizing. I've always had a pleasant experience with Windsor and as long as you're not expecting Haute Couture VIP treatment, you will most likely be pleasantly surprised! read more

Liz was the manager on duty.. then she said supervisor. It was really upsetting to know someone who is suppose to be in charge of the store, can not be EMPATHETIC with the customers walking in. I tired explaining what had happened on the floor as I am a regular customer. I understand special occasion dresses are not returnable! I get that part. I also understand that these special occasion dresses need to have the green tag. Which will differentiate special occasion dresses with NON special occasion dress. I also understand the return polices. Note there was a couple of dresses of the same style, exact same! That also didn't have the "green tag" Instead of Liz honoring that! She continued.. "people return dresses from online, we forget to put the green tags on" No once did she apologize not once was she empathetic about the situation. (Why would a customers want to hear that as an excuse?) She claimed to understand where I was coming from.. and rudely she said "yes I understand where you are coming from you want me to let you return it because there was no green tag on" Mind you a gal on the floor had already told me if there is no green tag you can return it.. the SAME extract dress Liz was arguing with me about! Winsor has a wide selection of casual, formal, and accessories. This location is very well organized and has good selections of casual and formal attires for any special occasions. The dressing room is clean and provides many big mirrors. They also have sales rack in the back. I'm a petite girl and feel that even the XS here is a bit for me. The sizes do run large here and wish they had a section for the petite girls like me. read more

your employees are RACIST. after reading other people's reviews about the attitude and racial profiling, i can definitely attest to that from my experience a few months ago. i thought it was nothing, until i checked the yelp today and was able to relate to the other POC reviewers, so now i would like to share my experience. my friend and i (both asian) walk into the store, while the white girls working said nothing, glared, then looked away...but gladly helped all the other white customers. i had 2 dresses to try on and one employee gave me the worst attitude ever saying i she had to hold my purse and that i wasn't allowed to bring it into the fitting room? you know i have 2 dresses because you grabbed them from me to hang them in the fitting room, so what makes you think i'm going to shove them in my purse and walk out? i still bought the dress because i needed it for that day lol but windsor truly doesn't deserve my money for having workers representing them like that. also, when i came out my the fitting room, i saw my purse behind the cash register, UNATTENDED. never shopping here again until they hire non-discriminating workers :) read more

Came here to find a prom dress for my sister. My sister was trying dresses on when she asked me to zip it up I was standing by the door when the girl working (I know her name I just don't want her to lose her job)there closed the door on me and told me one person per dressing room and then walked away. I understand this policy but I was just zipping up the dress. Then a few minutes later I see two white ladies come out together of one dressing room. So she let them go in together and close the door but didn't let me zip the dress? I was not pleased with this visit so we just decided to leave. I come here every dance for my 2 teenage girls and they always walk out with a dress! We can always find what we need and sometimes purchase things we didn't know we needed lol. My only issue is the dressing room area; it's too small of a place for the crowd capacity. Having the dressing rooms off the side next to the register creates a line in the middle of the store with so much blocked traffic on either side. Would've been nice if the layout had the dressing rooms towards the back of the store to put the traffic away from other customers on the floor still shopping. read more

I came back on March 4th (28 days later) and the manager refused to allow me to return the dress. She was not only extremely condescending and rude, but also lacked the ability to perform simple mathematics. Here's my experience; Bought a dress for a wedding last week and ended up not wearing it because on the day of the wedding it was too cold to wear a low cut tube top, especially being pregnant I didn't want to take a chance getting sick so I opted for a long sleeved dress instead. On the receipt it clearly says company policy you're allowed a 14 days refund/exchange if not satisfied with purchase (it's been four days). I called the store to see if I can bring the dress back in and the manager told me over the phone with an attitude to go ahead and "she will see what she can do". I looked at my receipt and noticed that she had hand written on my receipt AFTER I had purchased the dress that I was only able to do an "exchange". Complete bs, you don't just change company's policy and rules and write whatever you like on the receipt after a customer had already purchased an item, hence not telling them before hand. It's completely illegal to do that and you can sue them for it. I called corporate and was told that a formal gown is basically anything over $100, has a green tag or bridesmaids dresses. My dress did not fall under any of that category and corporate customer service told me they should be able to take it back with no problem. Brought the dress back in today and the same manager who wrote all that crap on my receipt, gave an attitude over the phone and once again gave me a hard time and attitude again in person!!!She was being SUPER rude and copped so much attitude it was almost unbearable! I can't believe how ignorant she is, the district manager need to fire this rotten apple before it goes downhill even more. Seems like the rest of reviews are based on poor customers service as well. She acted as if she's refunding me out of her own pocket. Get a job that you can enjoy and appreciate so you can stop being such a bitter ass bitch. I had a bad experience at checkout with the MOD. I waited about 10 minutes to be rung up. I all the associates in the store kept looking at me but did not help. Once I asked to be rung up since I had been waiting a while, the MOD passive aggressively put my items in the bag and gave an attitude. Wow this company deserves all the bad reviews they get. My wife and daughter bought a bunch of items around Thanksgiving and they noticed a security lock tag was still attached to the jacket when they got home. They went back today to get it removed and they wouldn't remove it, asking for proof of purchase and what day and time they purchased it. (Yeah, if they stole it even the dumbest thief wouldn't go back to the scene of the crime asking to remove the tag.) Basically they thought my wife and daughter were thieves or something. Unbelievable, they should just go out of business. Guess I have to use a hammer to get the lock undone. Shop elsewhere unless you want to be treated like a thief. read more
