When I walked into Windsor I was just browsing around in hopes of finding a gift for my sister. The managers Kayla and Victoria were amazing and helped me find gifts for not only my sister, but my best friend as well. They provided me with exceptional customer service by recommending top sellers and pieces I could layer with. Kayla helped me by recommending items based on a description of my sister's and friend's style, while Victoria showed me different ways to pair those items and style them with different accessories to create multiple looks. Ok, ive been going to this store for years now. From High School dance dresses, to looking for casual clothes. I went here the other day looking for a dress for my friends bridal shower and the girls who were working there seriously made me feel like I was ruining their day. First off, the fitting room was FILTHY, with hair and dirt covering the corners and floors of the room. I was afraid to take my shoes off. The girl in the fitting room clearly hated her job and when she thought nobody was in the dressing room (she thought wrong because I was in there) she would talk poorly about the other customers trying on dresses. I couldn't believe it, what would she have said about me?! When my friend tried on the dress she liked but was a little indecisive about it she asked if she could place it on hold and come back for it and the girl working the fitting room (in the snarkiest voice) told us they would only hold it for an hour and everything is final sale. Which is pretty understandable because high school dance season is here, but she didnt need to say it so rudely, so we put everything down and decided not to go back. It seriously surprises me because in the past I loved coming here looking form my school dance dresses, event dresses, or even just causal outfits. Now I feel like ill get a dirty look from some of the workers if I walk in. I can say that there are some girls that work there that are super sweet, they always help me find exactly what i'm looking for. But there are those few other girls that clearly hate their job there. read more

so me and my friend were in here trying on dresses and there was a pretty long line to try on the dresses so we noticed that some girls were going in with each other and trying on the dresses so when it came to our return me and my friend went in together and we were trying on the dresses and the lady comes and knocks on the door and tells us that we can't be in the fitting room together so we takeoff the dresses and we put back on our regular clothes and not even 3 minutes later she comes back and tells us to get out and that we're not allowed in the store and that she's gonna call security so we tell her that other girls where in there and she said that they were "mother and daughter" when they were clearly teenagers me and my friend feel very discriminated against because those girls were white and we were mexican we hope you guys know that being prejudice makes you loose costumers. read more

never had a bad experience with windsor. their customer service has always been great. this morning on 4/4/19 i went in looking for a wedding dress. the young lady who helped me with grabbing certain dresses and assisting me to a dressing room, she was awesome. however, the girl who helped me at the cash register had such a rude attitude. the one who was helping me earlier, if i couldn't find it in my size, she'll check other stores. when i asked the girl at the cash register, she replied "I don't know what other stores have, but we only have this one". really? you couldn't check the computer in front of you? i worked in retail for over 4 years. you always get difficult customers, but I asked simple questions regarding a dress. its all about customer service - it's easy to smile girl. read more

whoever was helping me yesterday had THE worst attitude i've seen out of anyone who works in retail. ik her name but i won't say it here but if you're reading this. you really need to at least pretend like you're enjoying your job. i work retail too and hell yea it's annoying but acting like a bitch won't help the time pass. i was literally just looking at a rack of dresses and she glares at me multiple times before saying "these are my go backs. all the dresses are out on the floor". i went around looking for the one i wanted, which was on that rack, and it wasn't on the floor:) then later i walked into the dressing room bc it happened to be open & she sees me walk out and asks "did someone let you in.." i say no it was open. she rolls her eyes slightly as she grabs a number to put on the door. and my friend kept bringing me dresses for me to try on and as i walked out again she glares at both of us and asks. how many do you have now. and i go 3. she rolls her eyes again as she grabs another number. AND best part is. later as i finished using that dressing room and other girls walked in without asking to use it. she didn't say anything to them. read more

The return policy is a JOKE. I ordered shoes online (cheap quality and super painful to even stand in) so I try to return them. Go to the store but oh wait can't return them there because it's past two weeks since the order date, IT TOOK A WEEK FOR THEM TO GET TO ME. Doesn't matter. You have at most a week in reality and they won't honor it and say how in store vs online is two different things blah blah. Stupid. So now I'm wasting more time and have to pay more of my own money to ship them back. Did that and it's been two weeks and only one pair has been refunded. Reached out to customer service last week and got no response. (The shoes were sent together and I got emails saying they both arrived) so why is only one pair being refunded? Just reached out again and was told the refund is being processed now but I have very low expectations. My theory is that they're aware of how cheap and badly made their products are, so they make it a pain in the ass to get your money back. STAY AWAY!! read more

My best friend and I went shopping at the Spectrum Center to find her a dress for the rehearsal dinner for her upcoming wedding. We walked by Windsor and saw lots of cute dresses in the window, so we went inside. We found a few dresses for her to try on, but nobody was at or came over to the fitting room to help us. Being new at the store, we thought it was a serve-yourself situation, so we grabbed a fitting room card with the number 4, put it on the door, and went into a fitting room. As soon as my friend is down to her underwear and was about to put one of the dresses on, we hear a very impatient woman saying, "How many dresses do you ACTUALLY have in there?" We look at each other quizzically and reply, "Four [like the card says]." She then says just as impatiently, "Okay, I'll need to check that, and only one person per fitting room." Ummm....okay. So my friend frantically gets one of the dresses on, and I leave the fitting room. As I brought different dresses for my friend to try on, that same woman kept saying, in an annoyed tone, "How many dresses does she have now??" I made sure she had the same number of dresses in the room at all times... Then, I'm looking at shoes, and a different store attendant politely asks if I would like her to pull a certain size of any of the shoes from the back of the store. How refreshing! I ask her to please pull two pairs of shoes for my friend to try with the dresses she's trying on. Rather than go to the back of the store, she proceeds to start checking people out at the cash register (even though another person was at the cash register and there were maybe three people in line). She took so long that I just found a different pair on another display to use. She brought the shoes over about 20 minutes after I initially asked for them. I observed similar bad customer service toward other customers in the store, especially with regard to the fitting room. The store, by the way, was not busy. My friend was having a hard time deciding between two dresses, so we asked one of the attendant's (the same one who was rude to us and others at the fitting rooms) if the store would hold the dresses for her. She replied, "Yeah, for like, an hour." We were expecting 24 hours or 48 hours -- there isn't much you can do with an hour. She said she couldn't hold it longer "because it's prom season and we might be able to sell these to someone else for prom." Except they weren't prom dresses... Needless to say, we did not go back to buy either of the dresses. read more

I love Windsor! I always come here when I have a special occasion. They have such a wide variety of dresses to choose from and the price and quality are great! Their employees always go above and beyond with their customer service. Katie helped me today and she was the sweetest. She made it personal and always related back to what I was shopping for. She made sure to take care of me and always called me by my name when she would speak to me. I feel like i have my own personal shopper when i shop at Windsor at the Irvine Spectrum. My wife has been shopping at Windsor for a while and when you walk into this store the girl at this location does not address the customer was busy on the phone instead of realizing a paying customer came in. She then explains the rules of the dressing room then after closing the door begins to talk trash because my wife gave a little attitude because of the customer service. We love Camille! My daughter (14) and I visited this location 6/9/17 looking for a promotion dress. She probably tried on 30 different outfits lol Camille was working the dressing room and was more than helpful and positive. Every time my daughter came out she gave a real opinion, a complement (different once every time). Offered to get other sizes or items. She went so above and beyond my daughter asked me who she should ask for to tell them how much she liked Camille!! So she went to the manager who at first thought maybe there was a problem, but my daughters eyes lit up and she told her all about how good Camille made her feel. In this day and age customer service seems lost, but my daughter, who isn't easily impressed, really got an amazing taste of what genuine love for your job and customers looks like. I had chosen a pink velvety dress that was there only small, when I tried it on I had realized their were spots and stains all along the bottom, and I ask for a different small but that was there last one and the only thing the manager could "do for me" was to give me 3$ discount, that is pathetic, she wasn't nice at all and she didn't seem helpful or accommodating, it seemed as if she was trying to get rid of me. One of the best experiences that I have had with our family. We were prom dress shopping for our oldest daughter and we found the perfect dress. While we were paying donyale and linh were so courteous and attentive towards us. They also informed our daughter that she was chosen for the Cinderella program from Windsor. We were told it was when they choose someone special to receive their dress for free. Our daughter was so excited and started to tear up as I did also. I was looking for a dress for a special event and one of the employees moved passed me without saying "excuse me". I let it go at first because it was a busy Friday night. After a while, I finally found 2 dresses to try on and waited in line for the fitting room. That same unfriendly employee passed me and finally acknowledged my presence by just making eye contact with me and not saying hi (rude). Then a girl with about 6 dresses directly cuts me and gets a fitting room from the same employee, while I was just patiently waiting. So I left. Never coming back. read more

My younger sister and I went here to look for a homecoming dress and when we both walked into the larger dressing room that not only was twice the size of the other dressing rooms, but also had a couch large enough to seat two people we were rudely asked that only one person go in. So, my sister went in while I stayed waiting outside of it but because the dressing rooms are near the cashiers my sister was too nervous to show me how the dresses fit because there were people who were in direct view of the rooms. It really ruined the fun and excitement that you get when shopping and I hope that management will reconsider advising their employees to implement this rule. I went here for last minute boots on NYE and have never went to a clothing store where the ENTIRE staff had HORRIBLE attitudes. Okay, so i walked in 5 minutes before they closed. I get it, you wanna go home, it's NYE. But to make it so blatantly obvious that you dispised every last customer in there is ridiculous. I didn't even wanna ask for a shoe size for fear of being snapped at. I ended up going with a pair of boots that I wasn't too fond of but I needed something to go out with. Long story short, I didn't end up going out so I didn't even wear the boots. I came back today to return them but for some odd reason I lost my receipt. The boots never left the box or bag however and I paid with my debit card. The same girl that rang me up that day did my purchase. I explained to her I lost my receipt but that I paid with my debit card. She said that's fine she could look in the system. So she looked and said she couldn't find my purchase. HOW?! I literally purchased them 3 days ago with that exact card and my purchase mysteriously can't be found?! So of course she could only give me store credit. It was so absolutely ridiculous and the whole time she had that same attitude she had the day I purchased the boots. I would never shop at this particular location again and I would advise anyone to do the same if you value good customer service and just plain nice sales attendants! read more
