This review is very long overdue as I owe Tatiana the happiness of my wedding to her. I was eloping in Maui and didn't really care much about my dress and didn't really think about how much alterations can affect the final outcome of a wedding dress. However, the prior alterations person I went to completely ruined my dress a week before I had to fly out for the wedding. Tatianna was a one of a kind seamstress and my experience with her was unforgettable. I first called her in February for my wedding in July. She recommended that I go in around March to give her ample time to finish the dress. Sure enough, it did take about 1.5 months to really make sure every part of my dress was flawless. Tatianna's pricing is reasonable and for the peace of mind, especially on your wedding day, you want someone like Tatianna you can trust. My wedding dress came out exactly the way I wanted. She helped to shorten my dress by not just folding the bottoms, but by pulling the dress up, making her work more meticulous. She also cut out the outside sleeves of the dress because she felt that it should be thinner. She worked with my mom for almost two hours to put the right flowers to match exactly every part of the sleeve. She gives you your 110% attention and 150% of her handiwork to make you feel confident about how you'll look on your wedding dress. I also brought my sister's bridesmaid dress and my second dress to alter and she made them fit exactly the way we wanted. My sister's dress came out flawless and she helped to make sure the dresses really fit on us. Even on last minute, Tatianna also worked on my now husband's suit because he had took it to another seamstress who did a horrible job and she undid most of the seamstress's bad work and made my husband look amazing in his suit. Tatyana is INCREDIBLE! Super talented and a keen eye for detail. My dress had a couple of small tears in the mesh which she fixed perfectly. She also took the body of the dress in just a little right beneath my butt, but that small change just transformed the dress. The bustle was a to-die-for cascade, and she added a belt which tied the whole thing together. She also added something at the bottom of my dress because I kept stepping on/my shoe kept catching the material of the underskirt, and after she was finished I never had that problem again. I can't say enough good things about Tatyana! I found a dress at a bridal shop over the holidays last year. I loved the skirt on it, but hated the top. I knew I wanted more coverage. Luckily a friend had already worked with Tatyana so I had a referral. She took my idea of adding sleeves and created a dress that I truly fell in love with. She is incredible at her craft! I thought we could just add the sleeves to the original structure, but Tatyana knows best and she advised it would be better to use the extra lace I had purchased to create a new top. I had ordered an dress off a Chinese website to wear on my wedding day because it looked like Rihanna's red Grammy dress. I ordered it 1 size too big. I took it to a seamstress in Garden Grove who didn't speak English and she helped me try to take it in but I think it was out of her depth skill wise. Thankfully I found Tatyana from yelp and she tried to salvage the dress. My wedding was on Saturday in SF and I was flying out Friday morning to get there.
