I visited Blush Bridal after finding them on social media. Most of all of the brides that I follow on social media were posting and RAVING about this place! It was easy to book my appointment and it seemed like they had good availability as most bridal boutiques I looked at visiting did not. I was able to find something that fit my schedule and booked it right away. I had several family emergencies come up that delayed my visit to Blush Bridal, and every time I needed to rescheduled someone was happy to help me find something that worked better for me. I was paired with Hanna for my fitting and I could not be happier with my experience at Blush. I am a bride who does NOT care about spending a ton of money on a gown. I wanted something within a certain budget and shared that with Hanna. I loved that she didn't judge me for not wanting to spend a ton of money on a gown and instead she chose items that were within my budget and did not pressure me to try on things that were more expensive. When I arrived, she had several dresses that were reflective of my Pinterest Board that I had shared previously. I am also a mid/plus size bride (bridal size 16) and Hanna chose dresses that flattered my figure. I loved that they had sample sizes that actually fit me. I felt completely comfortable and so confident in the styles she chose for me! I ended up saying YES to the dress at Blush! I would highly recommend visiting Blush Bridal to get your dream gown. Kaeli the stylist was amazing, and this shop was my favorite of all three couture shops I visited. I loved the personalized experience, from the personal confirmation text from your stylist about ?1 day before your appointment to the welcome sign and dressing room/ viewing area experience. You can book your first visit online. Kaeli did an outstanding job of choosing dresses for me based on a couple of inspiration photos I showed her. She also listened carefully and quickly adjusted as I gave my thoughts along the way, which is quite a skill, since it was my first shop experience, and I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted going in. They have a variety of styles and price points, and Kaeli was respectful of my 2K budget, choosing dresses within budget (not all places will do this, beware!). I almost got my dress here, however, I ended up choosing a different style at a sample sale a month later due to pricing, timing, and style--I liked my top two dresses equally. Let me start by saying this is the first of my baby girls to get married, so of course I was a little skeptical about how this whole experience would go. We arrived about 15 minutes early for the appointment and understood we needed to come back, so the three of us my daughter, my sister-in-law, and I walked to a nearby coffee shop to get some tea while we waited for my sister, my niece, and one of her bridesmaids, Sam. When we all got back and walked in, we were greeted by Hailey. She was so bubbly and genuinely excited to help my daughter find the dress. She was incredibly sweet and spoke to my daughter, Anyssa, in such a sincere and warm way that it immediately made her feel comfortable. I still can't believe I said, "Yes" at Blush!! A huge thank you goes out to Hailey and Amy. These two ladies at Blush Bridal have assisted me from in-person at the boutique to electronically. Now, where do I even begin...? Here is a little about myself! I work in the event industry and I have actually found Blush Bridal Couture (BBC) because I am a lover of Miss Hayley Paige. I searched on her website to find a local boutique. Being the adamant and passionate person that I am -- I emailed BBC and Amy was the one who was super helpful. She made me so excited for my first bridal dress shopping and filled me in with some great news. There was a Hayley Paige (HP) truck show at BBC and I totally made my dress shopping date around that weekend. Bonus is there was a discount that was applied to purchases made! When the day finally came to try on HP dresses, I had my heart set on my #1 choice. It was great, beautiful, whimsical, and I felt like a pretty princess... but it was my Maid of Honor who was there with me that brought another one of her dresses to my attention. Apparently there was a mishap between the trunk show dates being mixed up and BBC extended their trunk show weekend and I went back a second time to try on more HP dresses as well my original #1 choice and the second dress that stole my heart. Lo and behold!! I ended up choosing the one that my MOH picked off the rack and it was so me!! It was perfect! I felt gorgeous, elegant, timeless, and sexy (which by the way, I have never felt sexy lol). Mayra at Blush Bridal Couture is the absolute best stylist hands down! Let me start from the beginning. I found my dress online and looked at the places where it was sold. Although I live in Los Angeles, I was willing to make the trek down to Orange County for this dress. When I got there I was introduced to Mayra. The staff said the whole team researched me on social media to get a sense of my style, and felt Mayra would be the best person for me. They were absolutely right, Mayra and I connected immediately. I had a great experience shopping here. Although I did not pick my dress from here, it doesn't take away that this was my second favorite store that I went to. They have knowledgeable stylists who work with your budget and pull a bunch of gowns for you to try. My stylist was very friendly and easy to work with. They carry some great designers here and have a great selection of dresses. Certainly something for everyone here. They even have an area of the store where there is some natural lighting so you can see how your dress would look outside, as well. Nice touch. read more

Blush bridal itself was great however I would recommend you go through an alternative seamstress and preservation company than the ones that Blush recommends. I went through their preferred seamstress and the cost was significantly higher than Blush's estimates (Blush estimated $900-1300 and my cost was negotiated down to $1700 with $900 of that just being to hem the dress. Blush did help me negotiate the cost down which I appreciated given the original quote from the seamstress was higher, but it was still more than I was anticipating). The seamstress did a fine job in the end but the experience left a lot to be desired. During my first fitting she took a razor to the dress to start cutting it open while I was wearing it without really explaining what she was doing. Later fittings got better but I felt like I really had to beg her to fix certain things on the dress, I was glad my MIL was with me who also sews because she was able to point out things I otherwise would have missed and have the seamstress address them. The seamstress also did not do a final steaming on the dress and she did not properly attach the boning that was added so I got super cut up on my wedding day. I ended up having to cut part of it off during my wedding so the dress would stop scratching me. A week later the cuts have still not healed completely. I do love how my dress turned out, but for how much you are paying for a dress and alterations I would expect greater attention to detail and a better customer experience. Additionally, Blush recommended Margaret's for dress preservation. Margaret's refused to provide a quote over the phone. Upon going to Margaret's in person the staff were incredibly rude and made it a point that you know they are "on average 5 times more expensive than your typical dry cleaner". The estimate from Margaret's to clean and preserve the dress was $2300 so we decided to go to our typical dry cleaner instead. I wish someone had told me that the referral experience would be this difficult/expensive when I was buying my dress so I had a better idea of what to expect and budget for. Buying the dress through Blush was great but the entire experience after purchase was incredibly frustrating. read more

Finally got to wear my veil from Blush Bridal Couture!!! And the veil did not disappoint. It was gorgeous! The photos don't even give it justice! You can't see all of the detail on it. Mayra is an absolutely phenomenal person who went above and beyond to make me feel taken care of! Everyone needs a Mayra when they're looking for their dresses! I was very torn between picking the dress I had envisioned for years and a gorgeous spaghetti-strapped dress that I adored but wanted to make it strapless. I was so indecisive that I couldn't pick a dress by the end of my appointment. Since I was visiting from out-of-town, Mayra kindly and generously offered to let me come in after closing hours to try the dresses on again (on a Saturday before Mother's Day nonetheless!). After deciding that the dress with straps would be ideal, Mayra then emailed the designers to inquire about how alterations can work for the dress. Unfortunately, the designers said the dress was unable to be altered to a strapless dress. Although I didn't end up with either dresses, this review is about Mayra, who is truly a gem. I'm so lucky to have been matched with Kaeli upon my arrival, Kaeli took the time to hear me out on my likes and dislikes, looked at my inspo pics, and was able to pull dresses for me to try on that fit my style perfectly! The shop had such a great variety of styles for plus size brides. When I tried on *the* dress at the end of my appointment, I just knew it was the one. I had another appointment at a different bridal shop later that afternoon, which I still ended up attending. Having a bridal stylist who is patient and truly listens to your vision makes all the difference...I had an awful experience at the other shop I went to in the afternoon, between the stylist I was given and the lack of selection of dresses the shop had, I just knew I had to go back to Blush to say yes to "my" dress I texted Kaeli immediately and she was able to get me in first thing the next morning.
