I really appreciated how it was emphasized that they're trying to help me find what I would like and that we wanted to make the most of the time that we had there. There was also no pressure if there was a dress that I wasn't as much of a fan of. They were very mindful of my budget when looking through dresses. This appointment really helped me get a better understanding of the styles that I preferred and it was nice to have someone to discuss it with. I expected a similar, celebratory moment, but it felt more like a quick errand. We were placed in a small back room, the appointment felt rushed, and there was little of the hospitality I experienced before. The biggest issue was trying on my dress. It didn't fit, which was stressful and disappointing, but obviously no one's fault. That said, I wish the staff had taken a more discreet and thoughtful approach, like adjusting or clipping the dress before bringing my guests in. Instead, my guests were brought in while the dress was visibly unfastened, and the conversation focused on fit issues. My dress was designed by Estee Couture, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received on all ends. I left the store feeling more stressed than happy, and even on the final day of my fitting, I had unresolved issues. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to accept the situation as my flight was just two days after my last fitting. My measurements were taken, and I expressed my concerns, but I found myself having to follow up repeatedly for updates. I would text and call my assistant, Kiersten, only to receive vague reassurances, yet it became clear that nothing had been communicated to the designer or seamstress when I asked them myself in person. The custom sleeves I had ordered did not hold up on my wedding day; they completely snapped and fell off during cocktail hour. Additionally, the gathered fabric at the front of the dress was not addressed by the designer. Although the seamstress, Meryl, made an effort to fix the situation, her options were limited, and the issue remained unresolved. She informed me that the designer was aware of the problem, but no action was taken. I am dissatisfied with both Estee, the designer, and the service I received at Panache. Considering the investment made at panache I would expect better service, communication, and attention to details. Despite any internal challenges they may have faced, the staff did not fulfill their responsibilities or deliver the expected results. I will add that I spoke with multiple managers regarding my concerns, (Pasadena location too) and while I appreciate that we ultimately came to a solution where the dress will be cleaned and preserved on their behalf, it doesn't change the fact that the dress itself was not in the condition it should have been.
