An amazing experience! My niece Natalie, had her fitting and her gown assistant was Farah. She was the sweetest, kindest lady that spent unlimited time with her lengthy session! I was there with the bride to be's mother and father, along with our 101 year old mother (her grandma), and another sister. Amazingly, it was the first dress she chose to try on before 8 others and we ALL were in agreement, that #1 was an indeed, YES TO THE DRESS!There are not enough words to express the highest recommendations of this bridal shop, "A Royal Moment!" Before starting the search for a wedding dress, I was worried my options would be very limited and the chances of me having to "settle" for a dress were pretty high because of my short timeline before my wedding (about 3 months). A Royal Moment was the first bridal shop I visited, and I went in not really knowing what to expect. I thought there was no way I'd find my dress on the first try because that would be too easy, right? So I was just hoping to try on some dresses to get a better idea of what style I liked. From the moment we walked into the shop, Farah was so kind and welcoming. I told her my budget, my short timeline, and the look I was going for, and she reassured me that we'd be able to find something that I loved. We went around the shop and picked out a handful of dresses. One of them was something she suggested, and to be honest, I wasn't sure about it at first, but I was willing to try it on. To my surprise, it was the first dress I tried on, and it ended up being the one! Farah showed me some minor alterations that could be made to really fit the look I was going for, and I found myself comparing all of the other dresses to it. I couldn't believe that it was within my budget and would arrive with enough time for alterations to be completed before the wedding. I never thought that the first dress I tried on at the first bridal shop I visited would end up being the dress, and it was all thanks to Farah! Farah is an incredible stylist. She really knows how to pick dresses that complement your body and make great suggestions that you may not have considered on your own, all while keeping your budget and timeline in mind. This was probably the 4th or 5th bridal salon I visited on my search for a wedding dress. I really loved and appreciate the relaxed atmosphere and the help that Darlin gave us. She was actually the one that showed/found us the dress I ended up getting! The seamstress was able to add the perfect sleeves and bow to my dress, exactly what I envisioned. They even helped me out with a last minute hiccup with the dress zipper. I felt so beautiful in my dress and cannot thank them enough! read more

I had a 5 star experience with Farah! My mom and I were the only ones in the shop and we had her undivided attention. She listened to what I described as my dream dress and pulled multiple options for me to try. She even encouraged me to try on dresses I was on the fence about to put my mind at ease and rule them out. Trying on dresses I was unsure of helped me recognize my dream dress when I put it on. They didn't have my size but Farah helped me to see what it will look like. I ordered my dress in my size with her last week and I just got the call that it's in!! Takeaways: Farah is amazing, there's a lot to select from, my dress came in in only a week, the shop is clean and beautiful, I didn't feel rushed, I felt very special. read more

After I was scammed out of a wedding dress, I came here. My wedding is in three weeks and I needed a wedding dress ASAP!! God send me an Angel by the name of Farah. She was so perfect, so kind and humble. I explain to her my situation and asked her for a dress that would look nice and was within budget. I needed it that day and I didn't have much time for alterations. She went to work right away and helped me try on several dresses. Farah was showing me every dress she could and finally we found it! I was ecstatic. Finally a weight off my shoulders and after a long day of crying and uncertainty. I felt relief. If I had more time I wish I would have came here first to try on different styles of dresses! They had so a wide variety of selections and beautiful dresses. You guys. You all need to come here!!!! Story time!!~ My fiancé found this bridal shop from their sample sale off the rack promo on Facebook and he nudged me to come check it out! On a whim I set up an appointment and walked into such a wonderful shop!!! They have a variety of dresses from all price points! They also offer after pay! My stylist Farah is a godsend!!! She was so incredibly kind and patient! She let me try on all the different types of wedding gowns I wanted! Never rushed or pressured me! She allowed me the safe space to go through the emotions and figure out what I liked and didn't like and we ran from there! The dress I ended up choosing was a teeny bit above my budget but honestly, I don't care, the dress of my dreams is worth it!! I am worth it! Highly highly recommended for you to make an appointment with Farah!! She'll take care of you overall so so happy with my experience and so so happy I gave A royal moment a chance!! From the moment I walked into A Royal Moment Bridal, I knew I was in the right place. The entire experience felt magical, but what truly made it unforgettable was Farrah. She went above and beyond to make me feel special, heard, and absolutely beautiful. Farrah took the time to really listen to what I envisioned for my wedding day. She understood my style, my personality, and even the little details I couldn't quite put into words. Her patience, kindness, and genuine excitement made the process so easy and emotional in the best way possible. This was my very first stop, first time, never been to a wedding dress boutique. I had an appointment 1/28/25 @1230 with 1 friend. I came in and I did not know what to expect from a wedding dress boutique. I don't recall the women's name, but she was not very enthusiastic to work there. I had told it this was my first time and I didn't know what to look for based on my body type. She asked what my budget was, and honestly, I never really placed a budget price, but from looking online and seeing some cost, I said $2000. Instead of explaining to me how I should pick my dressed, she just told me to look around and pick a couple. I picked 3, but was not done looking, she suggested I go try it one. Everything felt rushed and an unpleasant experience. I wanted to take photos of each dress as I tried it one. Once I got to the third dress, it was a corset that required ties, and I had asked the employee if there was a clip to hold the dress up. She said what are you trying to do. I said take a photo. She said the back!!!! I said no the front. So I turned around, she tugged on the dress and shook me tight roughly. My friend even said to me she's kind of mean. After I tried on the third dress, I had to get dressed to look at other dresses, which was quite annoying to put my own clothes back on to take the off again. I went into the section for ball gowns. Instead of letting me try any of them, she said oh no honey, these are priced $4-6000. My idea is, if a female ends up liking a dress she will buy it. But I guess not everyone thinks that way. I was super disappointed at my first wedding dress boutique. read more

Negative five stars. They had my dress for three Months, I had three different appointments to pick it up and there was a different excuse every time. One being that my seamstress was in an "accident" another that they "misplaced" my dress, finally found it and scheduled the third one and absolutely nothing had been done to it, the pins were still in it and when we asked about it they said oh we have to see what you want done to it even though I was told after my dress was missing that it was done and ready for pick up. There was zero urgency, zero apologizing, only excuses. Do not bring your dress here. I now have three months to find another seamstress to finish my dress when it could have been done in May read more

I have some mixed feelings with A Royal Moment. Gigi was helpful in getting me in and out of the dresses and she was funny. There weren't very many options to choose from and I kept getting turned away from other dresses. At the end I was stuck between two different dresses, but one was a more nude color and I loved the bottom half and the other dress was white and I loved the top half. And maybe it's my fault, but I thought that was it as far as my options. But at the same time a wedding dress shop expert should also be able to help pull some ideas for different options, or different colors (if that store even has that who knows ‍). So any way I ended up going with one of the dresses as hard as that was. The next thing was was that Gigi knew I wanted to be in the $2000 range, but then again no big deal. She asked me if I was going to say yes to the dress? And I said that all depends on the price. Well of course she said, "oh today we are having are sale on dresses" she told me the dress is "normally $2500 and it will be $1600 today!" Now that sounded amazing, but what she failed to do was to tell me that the dress is FINAL SALE and NO EXCHANGES... even if you haven't done anything to it. Less than 10 minutes after leaving the store she called my phone to let me know that she forgot to give me my receipt. Not only did I see in red what she FAILED to tell me as an IMPORTANT thing before any sale, but she also lied because it said the original price for the dress is $1900! read more

I have been to a few bridal appointments and Gigi really made me feel comfortable. I appreciated her advice as to what complimented me. She is realky personable and you can tell she enjoys her job. TBH I wasn't expecting much from this as all my other appointments left me liking dresses but nothing I was in love with. She found me a dress that fit my body and made me feel pretty. I also got a great deal for my dress so a huge plus. I like that there is a unique selection so I felt that my dress was one of a kind and not anything cookie cutter. Thank you Gigi and Darlyn! Walking into a royal moment felt like a fairy tale. The store had so many different options and a beautiful variety of wedding dresses. Farah took the time to get to know me and my likes and dislikes while she showed me around to the dresses of my liking. It was so nice to have a dress experience where I felt in control of picking things I liked. With no pressure to HAVING to buy something. Though I found my dream dress! Farah truly cared and helped show me options on how I can alter my dress. She took photos of me with my girls and made sure we stood in the perfect light. This store was where I found my DREAM dress!! It couldn't have been more perfect for me. My wedding was this past Sunday 4-13-25. Farrah made me feel like a princess when I put on any dress, but especially this dress. It's well made, unique, and high quality but in a decent price range. There's so many positive things I have to say about A Royal Moment. I'm so appreciative of how kind, accommodating, and flexible this bridal shop was with helping me to find my dream dress. The service here really made me feel like I was royalty. I told them what I was looking for in a dress and it only took me 4 dress to try on before finding the one. They knew exactly my vision and what I wanted just be a few example pictures I showed and descriptions I included. Going into my dress shopping journey I was anxious that I would have to go way over my budget but they made things so much easier by allowing me the option to pay in payments. I recently had my gown altered, I was surprised by the alteration cost. The alteration ended up being half the price of the gown itself, which felt quite high and unexpected. I would have appreciated a clearer estimate beforehand. Transparency in pricing would really help customers plan better in the future. I wouldn't recommend buying here. The gowns are quite expensive, and there are many better bridal salons to choose from. I regret dealing with this store -- they were not helpful and made the experience stressful. read more

I found this shop via Yelp last year when starting my search for my wedding dress (an overwhelming process for anyone). I booked an appointment based on the great reviews and was not disappointed!! Darlyn and staff are wonderful to work with. I found my dream dress, and made custom alterations to it. They were timely in communication, and accommodating to squeeze me in for fittings due to my work schedule. The location is clean with a large selection of gowns! They allow you to bring in champagne if you want to pop some bubbly with your girls during your appointment. I also bought two flower girls dresses for my nieces here. They were so kind and patient while my nieces tried on EVERY youth dress in the shop! Most gowns have beading/lace. I had such a good experience with the team at A Royal Moment! They had a lot of different dresses to choose from. When I went to try dresses I told them I wasn't entirely sure exactly what I wanted but that I wanted to figure out what shape will look good on me and I gave them a general description of what I like. They spent over 2 hours with me and my group pulling dresses for me until I found my wedding dress! The day I bought my dress I also got to set up my first alterations appointment which was super helpful. The seamstress was super nice and super helpful. We had to cut off a decent amount of fabric from the bottom of my dress because I'm so short but they gave me my extra fabric to keep. They were also able to make the dress fit me perfectly (it originally was a little loose in the top area and I wanted to make sure I'd stay put all night). Overall I had a great experience with shopping and alterations. The whole team is super friendly and my dress was perfect! Including some pictures here too :) read more

I'll add a final picture after the wedding but here's why they get 5 stars: I feel like I went everywhere when I should have come here first. I thought it was out of my price range so I waited. But I couldn't find 'the dress' so I made a same day appointment. I should have come here first! The selection is endless and more can be ordered. Darlyn, Jane and everyone that helped me were kind and invested in helping me. Lynnette made the dress perfect for my body! She's a wizard with needle and thread! If you buy a dress here, don't do alterations. They will pick and choose which changes to make based on how they feel you should look, not what you ask for. True story- bride asks to close up the slit and let out the waist a bit, goes to pick up the dress, and was told she needs to look sexy so they chose not to do it. What gives you the right to determine her choices if she prefers modesty? read more

I found this bridal shop on a blog post about affordable bridal salons in the Orange County area as well as a shop that accommodated plus size brides. Based off of the positive reviews I saw on Yelp I booked an appointment. Overall an okay experience but could have been better. The people working there were very nice but this was more of a do it yourself salon. I went through and selected all of my own gowns and also tried all of them on my own without much assistance. I did get a few recommendations once the consultant was able to help us but she was being pulled in a lot of different directions when we first walked in. My biggest complaint was that this shop didn't have the appropriate fasteners in order for me to properly try on dresses. I'm a size 12/14 and most of these dresses were on the smaller side. Usually shops would have elastic fasteners to be able to secure dresses but when asked I was told all they had were clips. I was shocked she didn't have anything to close up these gowns. My mom and I were literally holding up the dress so I could take photos. Was a bit of a let down. I was able to try on a few different silhouette options and see what style of dress I preferred. The prices are also definitely reasonable, but I have since been to 3 other bridal shops in Orange County and have had a better, more enjoyable experience. read more

Literal worst experience of my life. I rarely complain about a place I don't like but if I can save one bride the stress of dealing with this place, it's worth it. I started dress shopping earlier this year and came across this place via yelp. I went to multiple shops before this store and all of them were all a little out of my budget. I didn't want to spend more than 1500 on a dress, and A Royal Moment definitely helped me out! I'm not sure if they are still doing this, but on Wednesdays they have a discount. Farah was sooo patient and helpful in helping me find my dress. I was only expecting to spend an hour there, but I ended up taking 2 hours of her time. I never felt rushed nor discouraged. I had my alterations done there too as well. I forgot the lady's name who helped me, but she was also very kind and patient. They were kind enough to hold my dress for me as well since I was in the process of moving places. Another plus is that the dresses are made in-house, so you don't need to wait months for your dress to come in. So for those who are on a time crunch, definitely check this place out!!! I was trying to wait for my professionally done photos to be completed before posting a review (because I personally don't have any photos on my own phone!) But alas here's a photo from a family member! Here's me and my MoH! My dress couldn't be prettier and I was was honestly feeling so disappointed in all the dress shops I'd gone to before A Royal Moment! The dresses here are stunning and so eye catching that no one could possibly steal the show on your special day! The Royal team is so friendly and I didn't feel like I was being judged at all when I tried on dress after dress at my first visit. At other stores, you feel like your money is being yanked out of your hand, but at a Royal Moment, it feels like every dollar spent is reflected in the gown and I don't regret also having it tailored for a bit of a mark up! My (now) husband and I decided to get married and planned our wedding within 2.5 months. I thought I was going to have to basically get something off the rack and have to be okay with it. Also, I live 4 hours away and had only a handful of times that i would be able to go dress shopping. I scheduled my dress appointment when we were in town visiting my mom. I ordered something online prior to this and when it arrived, right before my appointment, I tried it on and it was too small. I was having a hard time that afternoon. When my mom and I arrived, we met with my matron of honor and my stylist. Let me tell you, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and find just the right dress. They tell you to expect your appointment to be 1-2 hours - I was there for 3; cancelling my appointment at another shop. Nothing seemed right - too poofy, too yellow, too white - that was until she brought out THE dress. I put it on and INSTANTLY knew but just for giggles, I tried the other one I liked as well. But I knew it was THE one. We made some alterations on it - removed some things and the normal tailoring. They introduced us to Aida, their tailor and LET. ME. TELL. YOU. she is AMAZING. She instantly told me that she loved the dress and she would do ANYTHING to make us happy AND have it turned around by the time I needed it - AND. SHE. DID. I had the dress, after all the alterations, back within a MONTH of my date. Aida is a WIZARD. She made my already beautiful dress ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and I got SO many complements. Absolutely loved my expierence from the moment I walked in! Farrah was incredibly helpful!! She took her time to ask me questions about each dress we tried on and what I did or didn't like. She went above and beyond to help work around my schedule! I met Darlyn who was extremely kind and very talented !! I fell in love with so many dresses, each were so beautiful and unique. I can't stress how worried I was about not finding a dress that I loved but thanks to Darlyn and her team I found my wedding dress ! I am ecstatic to wear my wedding ball gown. A Royal Moment saved my wedding dress. I purchased a sample dress abroad and had it altered there. Unfortunately the alterations weren't right, I looked lumpy and the neckline was all wrong. Finally arriving home 2 weeks before the wedding I panicked because my dress looked so wrong so I started calling Bridal Salons to see who would help. The first salon we called quoted an ungodly amount of money. Next on the list was a Royal Moment. They were so kind, understanding, and told us to come in as soon as possible. This bridal salon ended up being the only one I went to, I found my perfect dress with the help of Lex. She truly made my experience amazing. I wish I could go back just to hang out with her! I came into the salon with a list of dresses that I had previously viewed on their website, Lex pulled them right out for me and we got to work! She had also pulled some different designs just so I could see how I looked in them, which I did end up loving! At the end of my first visit, I fell in love with two different dresses. Again, it was also my first bridal salon that I had visited so far, so I was still planning on checking out other places. I work in the event industry and I have actually found Blush Bridal Couture (BBC) because I am a lover of Miss Hayley Paige. I searched on her website to find a local boutique. Being the adamant and passionate person that I am -- I emailed BBC and Amy was the one who was super helpful. She made me so excited for my first bridal dress shopping and filled me in with some great news. There was a Hayley Paige (HP) truck show at BBC and I totally made my dress shopping date around that weekend. Bonus is there was a discount that was applied to purchases made! When the day finally came to try on HP dresses, I had my heart set on my #1 choice. It was great, beautiful, whimsical, and I felt like a pretty princess... but it was my Maid of Honor who was there with me that brought another one of her dresses to my attention. Apparently there was a mishap between the trunk show dates being mixed up and BBC extended their trunk show weekend and I went back a second time to try on more HP dresses as well my original #1 choice and the second dress that stole my heart. They offered champagne and water. They were positive, professional, and kind and I recommend you buy your wedding dress here. They didn't try to upsell me and prices are transparent on their website. The seamstress who worked on my dress was super sweet and experienced - the hem was perfect, the bodice fit so well I never worried about having to adjust my dress despite it being off-the-shoulder, and the American bustle held up super well (even me jumping around the dance floor couldn't do any damage). Their hours were a little unclear online and I had to wait a couple days for a response at times (usually because they were still waiting on something), but overall a wonderful experience!

Unfortunately, one of the dress straps broke just 10 minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle, which was incredibly stressful and disappointing on such an important day. Additionally, I ordered my veil through the boutique and had scheduled an appointment for alterations and veil pickup. However, there appeared to be a miscommunication regarding the pickup, as it was not properly noted and the veil was nearly shipped instead. I had also specifically asked to try on dresses with sleeves during my appointment and was never brought a single option. Overall, this was not the experience I had hoped for from a bridal boutique of this caliber. ***** My wedding was over two hours away from the store, and waiting for your seamstress would have meant missing my ceremony. When paying a premium price, brides should not have to deal with last-minute issues like a dress strap coming apart minutes before walking down the aisle. Thankfully, one of my bridesmaids was able to sew the strap so I could still wear my dress. Regarding the veil, I specifically called after being notified it had arrived to explain that I had an alterations appointment and wanted to pick it up then, which your team confirmed. I later received communication referencing shipment, so I had to follow up again by phone and email to make sure it would not be shipped. Had it been sent out, I would not have had my veil for my wedding either. While I appreciate the refund for alterations, the overall experience was far more stressful than it should have been for such an important day. Future brides should be aware of the risks and added stress this location may bring leading up to their wedding.

We started off by browsing the store and picking a few dresses, and Huong also recommended a few as well based on my vision. My mom and sister had fun being able to go through the selection and suggest some dresses. I came in knowing I wanted to try on a specific dress and Huong made sure to find it for me! Throughout the whole process I felt so comfortable and supported by Huong. I just want to thank her for being so patient and kind to me. She helped me get in to each dress and never made me feel like I was a bother even though we tried on so many dresses! And she even saved the dress I came in to try on for last, just so that I could be sure that there wasn't something unexpected that I ended up liking. When I finally did try on the one, I felt so relieved that I finally found my dress! Also side note, this was actually a rescheduled appointment because I had a family emergency happen the day before my first appointment, but they were so kind, understanding, and even remembered it the day of my rescheduled appointment weeks later. That meant so much to me! I had a great experience dress shopping here and can't wait to receive my dress when it arrives later this year!

I had one other appointment earlier in the day, which I ultimately went back to to purchase my dress, despite Jaclyn's also carrying my dress. Jaclyn's price was $700 more for the exact same dress, but even if it had been the same price, I wouldn't have purchased from here based on the service. I get the feeling that the service would be better if you were walking in here with a very large budget. Just an underwhelming experience.

shoutout to meral for saving me from a stressful experience, aka bridesmaid dress tailoring! i had…read moreordered my dress online with custom measurements, and it still came in all wrong. the wedding was in less than a month so i immediately went online and found meral. she was able to squeeze me in during the evening after work to take my measurements and dress, which i was so thankful for. she provided her suggestions for the dress in terms of the draping and the slit height, and she was able to work her magic so quickly! i got my dress back in less than two weeks and it fit perfectly. the pricing was very reasonable as well, while also considering her disclosure that velvet is typically much harder to work with for most seamstresses (but clearly she had no problem!). she also had a bunch of gorgeous wedding dresses she had created on display in her workroom, so it was very admirable to see the clear care and detail she puts into her work. 10/10, would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a dress altered!

Linda was sucha sweetheart!) and came here after that appointment to try on more dresses. As we excitedly go up to the store, Chia greets us and I tell her when my wedding date is (Beginning of next October) and Chia says that it's too early to be looking for dresses and suggests us to look elsewhere like David's Bridal and such and try on dresses there, then come back when I know what I'm looking for. Chia then hands us her business card and we had to ask if we can still look at all the dresses and try them on, but after her rude dismissal, we just left since we felt unwanted there. The reviews here of her were splendid on Yelp; however, our experience was such a big disappointment and we decided to go to other bridal places. Definitely suggest going elsewhere :(

I was actually referred to Chia by another seamstress who was not taking new clients at the time I…read morecalled her. Chia turned out to be wonderful and very skilled at her profession. Being a designer and dressmaker herself allows her to understand the intricate construction of wedding gowns. On my first meeting with Chia, I told her what changes I wanted to make to my dress and she also made her own suggestions, which I followed. After our consultation, she calculated everything and allowed me to make the decision of whether or not I wanted to proceed. I didn't feel pressured at all and found her prices to be pretty reasonable. I made an appointment with Chia to return in about one month for my first fitting. When I came back I expected my dress to be almost completed (Chia mentioned she usually does 2 or 3 fittings and then the final fitting) but I found out that Chia likes to work in stages on your dress. This allows her to make adjustments to your taste as she continues working without having to redo something or make corrections. The one change I made towards the end of the process was to make the neckline of my dress more sweetheart. I brought in photos as an example and she was able to make the alteration perfectly. These are the alterations Chia made for me: tightening the bust, adding bust cups, sweetheart neckline, shortening the length, tightening the dress under my booty (I had a fit and flare style) and adding a bustle. The resulting dress fit like a glove and I did not have to worry about adjusting my dress the whole day. Looking back, the only thing I would have changed was the thickness of the bust cups she added. I kept insisting to Chia I wanted to "enhance" my chest so she added the extra thick bust cups but I think it caused the bust to gap away from my chest a bit. It wasn't noticeable looking at me from the front but it was from the side (and consequently in some of our photos). However, I wouldn't fault Chia for this because I was persistent and she was trying to make me happy. I would highly recommend Chia because she is very detail oriented and takes pride in her work. Overall, I think I had 4 or 5 fittings total before I was able to bring my dress home (about 2 weeks before our wedding date). She is also quite accommodating to your schedule and was always able to see me in the evenings after work, around 6:00pm or 6:30pm. Tip: Each fitting lasts about 30-45 minutes and make sure to always bring the undergarments and shoes you'll wear on your wedding day.
