I want to start off by saying the the 3 stars are for the store itself not the service. The employees were very helpful. We got fitting rooms right away. They asked if we needed help several times. Ashley helped me out in the register and she made my transaction very smooth specially after I expressed how HOT it was inside the store. I could not believe they were working with little to no air conditioning circulating through the store. The store is the reason why the 3 stars. For such a large chain retail store I would imagine they would be able to afford good quality air conditioning not only for the customers but for their employees as well. It was cooler outside than it was inside. I really hope this is being looked into given that we are expecting this summer to be extremely HOT!!! I had a very disappointing experience today at Old Navy. I came to pick up a prepaid order that was already paid for online. I waited patiently in line at the register and politely showed the barcode for my pickup order to a lady wearing a pink color stripe shirt. Instead of assisting me, she reacted in a very dismissive and disrespectful way and told me to "get in line." I was not trying to cut the line. This was a prepaid pickup order, and I have done this many times before without any issue. The whole purpose of ordering and paying in advance is for a smoother pickup process. If customers still need to wait in the regular checkout line, then what is the point of online pickup? Eventually, when I reached the register, the manager came over and processed the order. He confirmed that for pickup orders, customers only need to show the barcode and the staff will bring the item out. That is exactly what I was trying to do from the beginning. The situation could have been handled professionally and respectfully. I hope the store provides better training to ensure customers are treated fairly and consistently read more

Updating my review since it's been a while. I like this location because it's generally very clean and organized, and the staff are all nice and welcoming, but not in an annoying way if you know what I mean lol. I prefer to be left alone while shopping and for the most part that's what they do here, with occasional check ins. Today I found some good deals for boys clothes, which is what I came in for. $5 shirts for boys, can't beat that. Old navy clothes usually tends to last longer than other brands for us. I love that Old Navy is conveniently located on Birch Street rather than the old location in Brea Downtown. This store is always neatly kept with friendly employees who are always willing to help. Gotta love Old Navy they always have such cute stuff here, sales all the time and bucks you can spend months away LOL! But I like this location a lot, I come here with baby girl often. We usually always find stuff for her. It's a nice clean store, the employees always have smiles on their faces, they have a lot to choose from. The parking lot is big too, so plenty of parking. Found baby girl some black pants today for her play which fit her perfectly and some long sleeves tops. Everyone who always rings us up or asks if we need anything is so nice and smiles always. I love Old Navy and usually like this store, but rude employee when it comes to order pick-up. Needed to change the name of someone picking up an order for me and she acted like it was an inconvenience and not allowed, but said she'd make an exception for me. With other stores you can easily change a pick-up person. I'll just order online or shop elsewhere next time. read more

I came in last week to look for a specific top, in a specific size, that was available for an online pickup order at this location. When I arrived I was greeted by a lady organizing the jeans at the jeans section. When I finally found the shirt I was looking for, I noticed they only had two sizes available. I was going to try on the smaller one but as I made my way over to the fitting rooms I saw Ana working the fitting rooms. I asked her if she could help me find my size and she went above and beyond to help me find the shirt! I was very pleased with her assistance. She was very kind and helpful. The lady at the register had a bit of an attitude, but was also helpful and patient as she waited for me to look up the items online for a price match. Store Pick-Up review only I had ordered a few shirts for store pick-up (to avoid shipping costs) as there were none in my local Old Navy, this store was the next closest. This location is right next to the former BevMo! location and Sprouts, so parking is aplenty. Walked in and tried to locate a staff member to help with a store pick-up. Showed them my barcode and ID, and was out the door in less than 10 minutes. Very convenient! Overall, very pleasant experience and will return if my local Old Navy does not carry the items I am looking for. read more

Then impulsively purchased 2-3 more T shirts long & short sleeves. Found my size & was rung up quickly Live minutes away came home to look at receipt & purchases Items on clearance said final sale. 1 item was marked gender neutral didnt fit & I hadnt noticed or tried on. I called store to see if someone could help me Spoke to Janeth ! She was so sweet & helpful really listened. Knew which item I had purchased little bigger n boxy ? She put me on brief hold to check what could be done. Returned & said I could return the item. Manager Heidi was very nice as well. Credited my atm. Very fast & efficient. This is the place to go if you want to be ignored by employees, have your items rung up but the sensor not removed so you have to return and you get to stand in line while the employees spend 10 minutes chatting with the customer in front of you, exchanging instagram handles and just ignoring the line. The service was not good at this location. I purchased clothes at this location and didn't want to try on in store because the dressing rooms were so crowded. I purchased the clothes on the 25th and did a return on the 28th. When I presented my receipt, The employee said he could only give me store credit. I said why? And he said because it has to be within 30 days...I said it's only been 3. And he replied with, "oh you purchased this month?" Which I replied. Yes, like it says on the receipt. Heidi, the manager came over and asked to see the receipt again. She told the worker that I can only receive cash if I paid with cash. They were very uncomfortable to be around. Love the clothes love the sales, but please listen. I was told that the credit check was a soft credit check from the cashier so I said OK because it was worth a try since it was just a credit check. I went into my credit and nope it's a hard credit check. They need to make sure to train their staff to say the right things. If somebody's trying to buy a house or something important that would mess up their credit. read more

This location closes at 9:00 PM. I came here a little bit before 8:40 to witness a worker locking the front door as she saw me coming up. The cashier and this ponk-haired worker watched me try to open the door and ignored me. I understand I came a little bit before closing but I literally came to pick up one item of clothing for my baby that I desperately needed. This is going to be a long post. I hope that you will read it and buyer beware.!!!!! I am a loyal Old Navy customer for years. I have a credit card with the store as well. . I am a 65-year-old retired mother/grandmother, with six grandchildren and one on the way . I go into the store regularly. I spend about an average of $700 per month or more. When you shop they give you cash coupons to use that are usually a month or two away from the time you're in the store . Well on my last visit, I received $110 worth of cash store coupons. since then, my daughter, who is pregnant again, has been extremely ill and went to her OB/GYN, who informed her that her baby's heartbeat is very low. As well as my daughter was bleeding. Her doctor recommended her to stay in bed under bed rest not to go anywhere or do anything or pick up the other kids. well about a week ago she ended up bleeding heavily and we had to take her to the emergency room. So finally yesterday she felt a little bit better and was going stir. Crazy being under bedrest and asked me to take her to our nearest Old Navy to shop. So we went in and there was no carts so I ended up holding everything in my hands that my daughter was interested in purchasing. so after going to the store, she collected all of her purchases for herself and her 18 month old we went to the register to pay and it was about $300 worth of merchandise. I pulled out the cash coupons that I had for $110 and they told me that they had expired on 10 March(today is the 20th) naturally I had no idea because my concern was my daughter not looking at coupons that were expiring or not. I explained to the sales girl our situation and she said "if they were a few days late, we could honor them but it's too long and we cannot honor them but I'll have my manager come and talk to you" the manager never came to the register to speak to us, but stood in her corner about 20 feet away and told us there was nothing she could do and she said that we were supposed to come in before the tent and all she could do is compensators with New coupons for the next. about three weeks from now. I told her about my daughter situation and how she is under bed rest and I'm worried that she. may or may not be able to come back in and today she picked out the stuff that she liked and I would really like for her to have them today. So long story short they were rude to me and my daughter didn't feel a thing just was very cold, so I called manager the following day She told me the exact same thing and I called to corporate. They told me the exact same thing so $110 they never honored so I'm going to pay off my gap credit card cut it up and never shop at the store again because for being a loyal, paying customer you get punished.! I was heartbroken when Old Navy closed their doors in downtown Brea, so I'm super happy they're now back in town! This location is a huge improvement because there is plenty of parking and it's conveniently located in the same lot as Sprouts, Target, and tons of other businesses. Although the store isn't as big as other locations, they have all the essentials for men, women, and kids of all ages. The store is well-organized and very clean, albeit a bit cramped due to the space constraints. The in-store promotions change almost daily, but right now they have some deals where you can get two shirts for the price of one! read more

I usually don't write reviews but in this case I feel I have to so no one else goes through this experience. It all started the Wednesday before Black Friday when I saw the add for $5 pajama bottoms. I had already purchased 8 pajama pants on line for $10 a couple of weeks before. I went in person to the Brea store to ask if they did price adjustments. The cashier told me I would have to go in on Black Friday before noon (sale was only til noon) show my online receipt and they would do a price adjustment. I went back in on Black Friday morning at 9:30, waited in line to go in, then waited in line to get to the cashier and much to my surprise I was told I had to bring in the items purchased for the price adjustment. I explained I had not received the order placed two weeks prior and I was told two days before that all I had to do was show my online receipt. The manager was called, she was very rude and told me there was nothing they could do. The cashier was a little more sympathetic and told me to call customer service and they would be able to help me. I called and I was first told they couldn't help me because it was past noon, by this time it was 10:30am PT but they were located some place else. I searched for the add and no where did it say PT, central or Eastern time, it did say in store only and by noon. Then he said not only was it passed the time but I had to be in person at a store, I told him I was at the store and was referred to customer service and two days prior I was told all I had to do was go to the store before noon with my on line receipt. He transferred me to a manager, once again very rude, she said there was nothing she could do, the price adjustment could only be done at the store. She then asked if I wanted to file a formal complaint, I told her I didn't see how that was going to get me the price adjustment of $40, you would think I was asking for $4k. At this point I figured it wasn't worth the hassle and I was not going to get anywhere. It wasn't even about the $40 adjustment, I was given wrong information twice, I was doing what they asked me to do and the two managers didn't seem to care much about customer service. I know that if they really wanted to they could have done the price adjustment with the information off the on line receipt. Is $40 that big of a deal to Old Navy? They rather loose a customer and get a bad review? Sorry but I don't shop at stores where they don't value their customers, I will return the on line order once I receive it. read more

I recently came to this Old Navy location to get some t-shirts for my family, and I was able to find exactly what I needed. This location is conveniently next to Sprouts and Target, so there is plenty of parking. It's smaller than the previous Old Navy location in Brea, but it still has a lot of inventory. This beautiful new store is my new favorite place. I was let into the door by Adriana 10 minutes before closing. She was so gracious to help us with our sale. And then Daniela made sure to meticulously check my receipt. Then Priscilla was happy to come over and fix one error that we saw. She had also already been working for 12 hours and still had a smile on her face and lipstick that is still shining.The people that work in the store are extremely helpful and full of laughter. We appreciated having expert help to do our Christmas shopping at the last minute Sunday night shopping spree. I will make sure to frequent the store for all my pajama bottom needs in the future. I am never getting out of pajamas ever again because we bought so many on the five dollar sale. I have one for each day of the week. Also socks that match. My review is based on my experience with the manager. My wife bought a dress a week ago. Yesterday for presidents day, all dresses were half off. My wife was sick but sent me in her place to get a price adjustment. The girl at the register scanned and said it wasn't eligible. I wandered the store and happened to run into the general manager. I explained the situation and she took care of it right then and there. The system wasn't returning the dress properly but she fixed it and got the money back on our card. Service like that makes it appealing to support stores who provide it. read more

Nice new store, great location. Have never personally shopped here before but everyone said the prices are great and quality good. Everything is over priced and then everything has confusing sales. Much like kohl's. But 1 get one free, buy 1 get one half price, buy this get that 10% off. Then they have coupons but the coupons don't apply to sale items. But everything in the store has some sale gimmick going on. The lines take forever because the employees have to explain to every customer why their promotion isn't working. read more

Plenty of nooks and crannies that serve as easy hiding spots for little kids to sneak away long enough to make you panic. Diaper changing table is already broken in one of the bathrooms.
