Just wanted to update that it has now been one whole week with zero update on my order and nothing has moved. One tiny little dress they can't seem to figure out. They won't return the dress until it arrives at my store. But they have no idea when that will be. Next day pick up is now one week + pickup with no clue when. Why is this considered a high end store when Amazon gets this done in a day? Nordstrom has gone downhill. read more

Sometimes I just don't have the time to drive out to Fashion Island or South Coast, so Brea would be my next best stop. I would rank Nordstrom in Brea as my third favorite Nordstrom in Orange County. This location has a nice collection of designer handbags, shoes and clothing. I've always been a fan of Nordstrom. I love the brands they carry and the excellent customer service they provided. Sales representatives are always courteous and go way and beyond. If you cannot find an item in store, they'll find it for you and have it shipped to your doorstep for free! I love free shipping and hassle free returns. read more

I'd like to commend Michele Rios on her exceptional customer service! She was beyond helpful with my search for a formal dress to wear to a friend's upcoming wedding. She greeted me and escorted me to the correct department, selected dresses based on the color scheme and style I was interested in, brought me to the dressing room and checked in with me. She researched other alternatives online and ended up placing the order for me. She's got great style and a fantastic personality! She was empathetic towards me as I mentioned dealing with my post-baby body and encouraged me to be my most beautiful self in the dress I selected. Nordstrom has always prided itself on its phenomenal customer service. Michele Rios is the perfect addition to the team!!! read more

Came in on the second day of the Anniversary Sale, which historically is the best sale for Nordstrom. I was ready to see what the new fall goodies would be... Shoes, home accessories, shoes/clothes for my husband:.. We found parking easily - which was surprising for a Saturday. But I think I know why...: Walked in women's shoes and was greeted by a young woman.. No other employee acknowledged that I was in the department. It becomes a game of "how invisible are we in Nordstrom... The following departments offered no service whatsoever: BP shoes - No acknowledgement "Home Store" - 2 young women ignored me Men's Shoes - ignored my husband (even when he picked up a shoe) Men's Accessories - 2 men ignored us Men's clothing - was anyone working??? Women's Shoes. AGAIN Women's Accessories - busy with trunk show Jewelry. Actually greeted. Jewelry was the only department that greeted me and it was nice. But it didn't seem genuine. Nordstrom was formerly known for outstanding customer service. I'm afraid that's a bygone era I think I'd get better service shopping online! read more

Oh, my local Nordy's...how I love you so. Since being preggers, I haven't visited you as often, the good once or thrice a week like I did before my belly bloated and I couldn't wear my Hudsons anymore...but I do still visit and find Michael Stars tanktops and cardigans and Tory Burch flats that still work with my ever growing body... I am a bit upset that my favorite girls have gone. First Desiree, then Aline, then Scarlet, but my handbag girl is there (Ava-ask for her! She's super sweet and will help you find ANYTHING!) and dear sweet Hannah in Savvy...yes, it's sad that I visit and buy so often that these people are my "friends," and they call me to see how I'm doing and to let me know when some of my favorite things go on sale. But that's the beautiful thing about Nordstroms...the wonderful customer service, and, oh, they do price match! Bloomies is having 30% off designer handbags? I zip over to my Nordy's and they'll match the sale price for me! The same Ella Moss dress is on sale at Active for a mind blowing $60? They'll match that too! Oh, and the Nordstrom Notes...how bittersweet to see them pop up in my mailbox. How can you resist buying that cute pair of flats, especially when they're gonna get you double, even triple rewards points right now?? And then, you get that $20 or $40 Nordstrom Notes...$20 for every like $1000 you spend? I'm not even sure. My heart aches knowing that I've once again spent enough to get one, but it also jumps for joy that I essentially have $20 off my next purchase! What can I say...I'm a Nordy's girl all the way... read more

This is one of the best Nordstrom's in So Cal. They did a renovation a while ago, and ever since the products are spaced out and easy to browse. I have to comment that the customer service is exceptional. I go to a personal shopper, Jillian Klein and she is fantastic. She is very up to date with current styles and goes above and beyond to pick out the best clothes that make you feel amazing. If you have never tried a personal shopper, it is completely free and helps you pick out items you would not normally wear. read more

Manager or Assistant Manager in the women's shoe department was extremely helpful. Wish I remembered his name.

My wife sent me to pick up products by Charlotte Tilbury. I was assisted by Alicia who showed excellent warm and friendly service. Associates like Alicia is why I shop at Nordstrom. read more

Like most Nordstroms, this one is clean, well organized, stocked with a nice selection of merchandise that befits its location and has excellent customer service. The style is very OC so it's not exactly my thing but I can appreciate that for those who live here, it's great. Last time I was here, I was wandering around with my sister when she said we had to get a warm, gooey cookie from the Nordstrom cafe. So we got a chocolate one and ate it as we walked around the BP section. We split up at one point and when I looked at the price tag on an item, I was grossed out by a brown smudge on it. Then I realized that my sister was walking around unknowingly marking up tags with her grubby little fingers. Only the tags though. I am so impressed with the accomplished, funny, interesting woman she has become but every once in a while, I get a glimpse of the chubby chocolate covered toddler that used to follow me around. I hope she never disappears. Happy birthday, Dr. P! read more

My favorite Nordy's! So those who know me know how often I'm at this Nordstrom. It's classy, convenient, and the perfect place to do a little splurging. I've been coming to this location for YEARS! Lets just say it goes back as far as the time when my mom did all the "fashion" shopping for me. Now I follow in her footsteps. Like mother, like daughter (heh). There are two departments that I frequent the most -- shoes and handbags. The associates are always so helpful and polite. Our go-to associates are so easygoing that it make us feel like we've known them for years. They carry all the name brands you want and their return policy is simply the best! I love how there's no deadline. It's perfect when it comes to indecisive people like me. You can simply purchase first and return later without having to worry about a deadline. I also LOVE their sale events. The half-yearly sale is decent, but the best are definitely the private Fall preview sales and the holiday shopping events. I always look forward to those every year. The newly renovated e-bar is a nice touch as well. I have to admit that there are some obnoxious douchebag associates, though. Especially when it comes to the men's shoe department. For some reason I have yet to be satisfied with the service there. Some associates come off as plain rude. Good thing I'm a chick and don't have to visit there unless shopping for a gift. I'm definitely filling out a complaint card next time I come across an A-hole. Other than that, love my visits here. read more

Terrible customer service over the phone. System does not work to order on line, the operators are very rash in cancelling orders, leave a customer on hold, right now it is 25 mjnutes, must be a millennial... Rude and self absorbed. Very disappointed... Nordys is no longer what it used to be. Yes, I have more and the late nite Filipino call center a - 1 read more

The best Nordstrom in Orange County!!! Out of all the Nordstroms this is the second biggest store in OC. Only South Coast Plaza is bigger. However, unlike SCP Nordstrom, this one isnt crowded, cramped and full of tourists. Its three stories with both a cafe and a coffee bar. The skin care counter is great and the sales stuff is pretty reasonable, too! The only reason Why I am knocking it down one notch is because you can never find parking in the Nordstrom structure and the Cafe doesn't serve my favorite dish anymore ( Cilantro Lime Chicken salad) but still its a great store!! The best Nordstrom in the 714-562 area , dont waste your time at Cerritos Mall, Santa Ana, The Irvine Spectrum or Riverside Tyler Galleria, this is the best Nordstrom outside of South Coast Plaza in the area! Even if you live in Diamond Bar or Corona, its worth the drive, the galleria Nordstrom doesn't have as big of a selection as this store! read more

***This is about MAC Counter*** Dont come here! Go to Sephora!! **** Very unpleasant and horrible service. **** All the employees were busy chatting, making jokes between them and very rude whole time. Kept asking if we were going to purchase...? 3 times!!! We told them that we were checking 4-5 items so it would take us some time to check which items we want first. Then, they start ignoring us at all. All of them. What the heck...?! Are we not allowed to look at all? It was less than 15 min but they had attitude and were so impatient because we didn't commit to buy?! Really??!! Who does that???! Got so fed up and went straight to Sephora. What a difference atmosphere. We ended up spending over $180 at Sephora. Totally worth the money. Employees greeted us with genuine smile and truly willing to help. *** We really didnt need help anyways btw. *** So glad that we left Mac. Mac didnt deserve any purchase from us. I wonder if they got hired to make co-worker friends or to help customers? Horrible people. Never going back. read more

This is a strong Nordstrom, and probably the best anchor at the Brea Mall. It closely resembles the Irvine Spectrum Nordstrom, but it's not as big as South Coast Plaza's. Just throw in a Nordstrom Cafe (which is different from the e-Bar), and this would probably garner a true five-star rating. Between this and my hometown of Cerritos, I would have to say that this is better in terms of selection and newness. The Cerritos one is undergoing a reconstruction, so this advantage may change in about a year or so from now. Oh, and this place has a piano. We all know that when you throw in a pianist in the midst of your shopping, it automatically adds that much needed class. read more

I love Nordys! I love how organized everything is. I especially love how they treat their customers! Absolutely love their customer service! There's this one time my husband bought me a Burberry purse from them. I used it for a few months and notice it had black stains from my black clothing. I took it back and they gave me my complete refund! There's no place that has return policies like they do! I love all the brands they carry. So many different ones. I shop here for shoes, purses, clothes, and accessories! Nordys rock! read more

I normally enjoy shopping here, but I came the weekend before Christmas for some gift shopping and I purchased items. I then saw there was gift wrapping available and I went to drop off my items. I came back around 20 or so minutes later to check in and one of the associates let me know my gifts were about to get wrapped. Before I left the area, I saw another associate (Julianne-I believe was her name), take out one of my gifts I purchased and threw it on the gift wrapping table to start wrapping. My issue here is that 1. She threw it onto the table, 2. I just purchased it and 3. What if the item inside was fragile? (Luckily it came packaged in a box, but that's beside the point). I can understand the rush of Christmas season, but throwing a customers gift onto a table to wrap it? No, I can't accept that. That situation has bothered me since and I debated writing a review, but had to. read more

Busy, busy, busy Nordstrom. However, super clean and well staffed. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable about anything and everything. It's fairly easy to find what you need, but really it's just annoying to push through the crowds of people that end up at the mall. But I love their stock of shoes, beauty and dresses! read more

This review is based on my shopping experience at the handbags section. These ladies are helpful and at the same time they do not make you feel uncomfortable or pressured like I do when I shop at Bloomingdales. I made small talk with one of the sales associate (Daniela) and mentioned to her that I saw a bag on sale online but then within seconds it was unavailable. I told her the brand and price and also that I had been unable to find it online since then. Within minutes Daniela worked her magic and found the same bag online and located the only Nordstrom that had it in stock, which is all the way in Florida. She contacted their handbag department and the first lady told her that they didn't have it in stock so she asked to talk to her manager who then verified they have the bag. An hour later, I received an email that it shipped! So if you want an awesome experience and an expert product locator then Daniela G. is your gal! read more

Used to love coming here but all the workers are cut throat. Had something to return today and I wasn't received well at all, just stood there until a second worker behind the one I was with asked what I needed today. They should hire more inviting people. Customer service sucks :) read more

First score...this Nordstroms has a Bridal dept. Second score, my daughter found her wedding dress there. And it just so happened to be the second one she tried on. The price...unbeatable. She is going for a casual country look and the dress is perfect (so is the price) Ordered! Score #3, dress arrives the next week, we go to see and score #4, it was the only size 2 left out of only four of that dress left in the whole company!!! Score #5... On sale 45% off!!!! Amazing! Then we go back for her fitting for alterations and it's only $120 - $100 alteration credit. $20 for the alteration!!!! Wow. Score #6, Christine Shier, our Wedding Stylist... she is the bomb. So nice and helped us in every way. Love her. read more

People at least in the men area are the worst seller I've met. 2 kinds : -the lady that doesn't help at all, ignore you except when she walks and ask you to move. And then, when you seriously look at the cloths, come with a smile for her commission. -the guy that's screaming fashion faux-pas and sells cloths. They also have bad clearance and poor-aggressive service costumers. read more

What is better than Nordstrom!?! This particular review is based solely on my experience at the Chanel counter. It was a little busy today, but even if so the employees continued to acknowledge us as we waited. I was looking for mascara because one of my best friends has it and her lashes always look amazing. They have a few different ones all the same price which is a plus. Tara assisted us today and she explained the differences between all the mascaras in detail. Tara was extremely helpful and super friendly. I got what I needed and I'll always make sure to see Tara for any future Chanel purchases. read more

I like this Nordstroms, don't get me wrong. The people who work for Nordstroms in say, the shoe dept or sunglass dept are nice and helpful. This is for the MAC Counter since I can't find it as a separate entity I came to exchange a blush. I told this lady with orange hair how I wanted something subtle, no crazy pigmented one. She suggested several ones that were too dark. I had her come from around to the counter to where I was and try some on me. It was totally not a color I liked but tried a different one on the other cheek and liked it. So now I have one cheek bright and other subtle. I obviously did not want to walk around the mall with uneven blush so I asked her to correct it. She gave me the vibe that I was asking for a lot. What is so hard? She was verbally polite but I got a rude undertone that my friend noticed too. The Cerritos Nordstrom MAC counter has sweet girls. I know it's not too much to ask to have it wiped off, powder and blush reapplied. read more

I loveeeee this Nordstrom in Brea mall. By far my favorite Nordstrom and thats saying alot :) Brea mall itself is really nice and have all the good stores to hit up. What i love about this Nordstrom is that they always seem to have my size and a large variety of styles to choose from in the women's department. I usually shop the T.B.D department and sometimes juniors and their staff is super helpful when I need someone to consult with. The women's shoe department is amazing as well. Once again they have a large variety at this location then any other Nordstrom I've been to. I'll recommend my friends to come to this location in Brea. Love it!! read more

This place has a really non-attentive staff. Avoid customers with money, ready to make a purchase, to talk amongst themselves? lmfao. Ok.

Kids shoe department was unhelpful. I waited in line behind 2 ladies and when it was my turn the sales person on the register left to help another lady that just walked in the department. The sales person made an excuse that the lady came first and she'll be right back to help me. Since then she's returned to the register, where I've been waiting, twice and has helped 3 other ladies that came in. I guess someone is trying to make her sales quota. I love shoping at Nordstrom because of their customer service. But this lady does not meet the customer service Nordstrom usually brings. Five customers helped by other associates later, I'm still waiting. They can't say they can't see me since I'm in front of them. Too bad nobody was wearing their badge. I would've put their names on this review. So no apologies from the lady, 15 mins later I finally got my turn by another associate. So disappointed. read more

This store easily has one of the largest selections of clothing at a Nordstrom that you can choose from it is simple and the selection does not dissatisfy. Nordstrom customer service is going way down. So much for the days of it being the best customer service in the industry. To think companies use this as a marker for training their employees. As a customer and business woman those words will Never come from my mouth again. I received a gift purchased by multiple friends for my baby shower wrapped all up in Nordstrom bows. Unfortunately it didn't work out and I wanted to go another route and purchase a different item from Nordstrom. The rep said there was nothing she could do because other companies sell it and I didn't have the receipt with me. My only option was she can look up everyone's number to see if it comes up. I wasn't asking for cash and the item was quote a high priced item. This is coming from a company who has $1000 strollers on display on there floor however 1/4 the cost of an item is "high priced". It's not the Nordstrom I remember and I don't recommended anyone get registry or gifts. Might as well use baby registries such as Amazon. They literally are the best! read more

Really can not understand, they dozens of sales people walking standing around, they look so uninterested kind of snobbish looking for the right person to walk in in. Just one salesman in the dress cloths. Had a personal shopper for years. I have had an account with them for 17 years. I'd rather drive father to another Norstrom than deal with the Brea store. read more

I've been shopping at Brea for many years and never have had a bad experience, but that's because I only have Michelle from jewelry always helping me with my purchases. She's awesome and always goes out of her way to take care of me. I'll call her for an item and she'll find it for me and put it on hold until I arrive that day or I'll purchase it and she'll send it to my house. Also, during the anniversary sale there was a watch I wanted but they had sold out of because it was such a hot item. She searched everyday and located one that someone had returned at another store a couple weeks later and I was able to purchase my watch. She's a sweetheart so if you want great customer service ask for Michelle in jewelry at Brea Nordstrom.. She'll go above and beyond to help you out.. read more

I like that you can order on Nordstrom.com and pick it up in store. They usually have most of the stuff I want in stock at this location. I don't like shopping in stores because I don't have the departments memorized. You go to a department where it says denim somewhere but the jeans you want is in another department. I don't understand!!! I guess I'm going to have to commit some time to learning the departments or just continue shopping online. I never thought anything was too special about this particular Nordstrom until I came to the holiday shopping party. I think its the memories more than anything that will make this Nordstrom special to me. They kept the drinks flowing and the hors d'oeuvres coming. I think I enjoyed the night a bit too much. read more

Not happy with return policy. Was not able to exchange a jackets that was poor quality/falling a part after using only a couple of times.

This Nordstrom is one of the best. I recently had a fantastic shopping experience with Cat from Women's petites. She was very helpful and brought a lot of suggestions into the room as she became more familiar with my taste and style. She then located and ordered a dress that I liked in a different size and had it shipped to my house. It showed up the very next day! This level of customer service is truly amazing. She is undoubtedly a fanastic and dedicated employee and an absolute joy to shop with. The hip-male section downstairs offers a lot of contemporary selections, which is nice to see, as it proves the buyers know their demographic! read more

I always love to shop at Nordstrom, especially this one in Brea. It is not too big, but has everything I love.
