Noodle Dinner.

Noodle Box is a Thai restaurant that hosts local chefs (usually 3rd Saturday of the month). This month Amy Renee presented dishes from her Sicilian background. Each course was better than the last. There was an ample amount of food (some "tasting" menus often leave you hungry). See menu photo for full details. Noodle Box itself is a great Thai restaurant offering his own specialties. He also does a Sunday Drag Dim Sum Brunch. Check out his website, follow him on Facebook to keep aware of specials and tastings. Noodle Box is one of the top 100 (85th) restaurants in the country.

Went out for dinner and our first choice was in disarray so we ended up at Noodle Box. We first heard about it during a Yelp event but missed out that day. It's been on our list ever since. It did not miss. The food was perfect, the ambience perfect, basically everything. I had the Thai Boat Noodles - absolutely fabulous!!! Broth to die for, meat was great and noodles perfect. If you're here to get one thing this is probably it. Wife got fried chicken - also amazing, very simple with amazing flavours. However, watching everyone eat Shabu Shabu was making us jealous. We'll definitely be back for it - reservations required. Everyone is always looking for great noodles and Asian food in Reno. Noodle Box should be at the top of everyone's list!!

Yelp hunt for a good hotpot place on a cold January night during a visit to Reno led us here. This place is located next to the Discovery Museum. There is plenty of parking and reservations are a must! The service is fast and friendly! The decor is fun and casual. The hotpot is AYCE so definitely come hungry. You can choose up to 2 broths so got the 24hour bone broth and the ginger chicken. Both were excellent! We ordered pretty much all the ingredients and were stuffed! I forgot to take a picture of the hot pot with all the ingredients because it got devoured quickly. It sure hit the spot on a cold night. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Reno.

Bidding a fond but sad Farewell to one of the most fun and unique spots in Reno. Wishing Parapol the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Cute, cozy and spacious! Keys to success: Grab a menu and order at the counter. Sit and enjoy the atmosphere that takes you out of Reno, because nowhere else offers this array of goods. The food is delicious and well done, tasty, and portions are thoughtful. Bus your own table. Compliment the staff because they work hard. Guaranteed to enjoy!

With only two employees working you would think the service would be slow, but our food came out hot and tasty. The flavors of the food were great. I had the Beef Thai Boat Noodle Soup and my husband had Noodles with Fried Chicken. The flavors were fantastic and we left feeling happy and satisfied. I'm so sad to hear they are closing.

My mom and I came here yesterday and we had a great meal! Very great service it was only the owner and his mom and they were both very friendly! The restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. Great big windows. Very selective menu and times so make sure to look it up before you dine here. Also not a lot of time left to come and eat here come asap!

I love the art.

I had the bao bun. It was so good. I have never had the traditional bao bun bread as it seems a bit scary because it looks squishy. Parapaul helped me and highly recommended it. Super yummy. I will be back hopefully. It is connected to the discoveries museum building. Very affordable and he said they do hot pot at night. Want to try that too.

I don't do a lot of Thai restaurants. I lived in Thailand for 10 years. I know it can be difficult for Thai restaurants to get a lot of the Thai spices and vegetables here in Reno. When you spend 10 years in Bangkok eating all of the amazing street food, it's just difficult to compare. With that being said, quite a few of my Yelp Elite friends have great reviews here. Also, the Yelp community manager, Michael, highly recommended me to give it a try. So I did and I was pleasantly surprised. We had a great evening and a great dinner. And the owner, Chef Perapol was a warm and friendly host. I do speak Thai, and it seemed Chef Perapol was caught off guard a bit. My Thai is E-sarn as they say in Thailand, But as he got used to my accent, we enjoyed chatting. He was upfront, letting me know that his menu was fusion. And I totally understood this. But the food was as good if not better than some of the street food I had in Thailand. What I ordered: Moo Tod Kratiem (Fried pork with garlic) Quay-Teow Ruea (boat noodle soup) Jia Ozi (potstickers) Chef surprised me with delicious and authentic Yam Woon Sen (glass noodle salad) The boat noodle soup had such a rich and aromatic bone broth. The pork was absolutely delicious and nice Kaeb Moo (crispy pork skin ) Quay-teow is true comfort food, no matter what country you're from. I could say honestly this was better than any noodle soup I had in Thailand. Yam Woon Sen was the Star of the show. It was perfect. All the food was amazing note and I could eat the pork with garlic every day lol. I would like to thank the chef for his personal touches and making me feel very welcome. If you love Thai food, you have to try this restaurant.

Been meaning to check this place out for a while and finally got the chance my last visit to Reno and it was great! The restaurant is spacious and clean, staff were friendly and service was prompt and overall excellent. We started with the chicken potstickers which were cooked well and tasty. Nice balance of flavors and the dipping sauce that accompanied it elevated it nicely. For our entree, my daughter and I both tried the Khao Soi Curry with fried chicken which was yummy and we both enjoyed it. The fried chicken for us was the highlight. Seasoned well and perfectly cooked. The visit overall was a positive experience!! I will definitely be back to try their hot pots and dim sum Sundays!!

I have had the opportunity to sample some of the food from Noodle Box before but only just little bites so it was nice to come in for a full meal. Great service, very fast and attentive. This is definitely a good spot to hang out or even just stop in for a quick bite. We started with some drinks and found a good place to sit. I love pandan so the Pandan Milk Tea was an obvious choice. It was very good with lots of floral notes, just like pandan should. My wife had the green Thai tea which was also very good. Both of us got Khao Soi, mine was the special which included a beautiful soft shell crab. It was a delightful experience both in flavor and texture. This was a great stop to add to our list and look forward to the next visit.

What a wonderful restaurant- lively experience and ambiance with an amazing staff to make you feel welcome. The menu was fantastic and offered a great selection. I highly recommend the desserts!

I came here with a girlfriend last Sunday. We were unaware that a drag brunch was taking place but we were able to participate last minute. We were a little disappointed with the set menu. We were really wanting to try noodles their set menu for brunch was Hawaiian style food. All served with rice and Mac salad but your choice of chicken, beef, shrimp or loco moco. Not sure if these items are on their regular menu. It seemed all meals were already prepared for the event. Staff were very kind and accommodating.

We made it in for their Sunday brunch and everything was fantastic. We were greeted by the chef and owner who were very friendly and kindly guided us through the menu. After ordering almost everything on the brunch menu, we happily took our seats and sipped our delicious margs! The food continuously made its way to our table where the presentation and flavor made us "ooo" and "awww." Tbh, I was honestly so pleasantly surprised to find such delicious and authentic Thai food in such a cute, trendy setting! Complete with Thai background music and a beautiful mural depicting Thai culture. Everything was delicious but I would have to say my favorite dish was the Thai boat noodles! The broth is similar to pho but meatier and richer. So good!

No big deal, just something to mention. We started with the kimchi fries- great flavor but the fries were hard to grab without using utensils. I wish the water offered had ice or was cold. Also wish utensils and napkins were more available. Service was fast and friendly - we even got some potstickers extra free of charge since the items we ordered came out all at different times.

I've heard of it before but never actually tried it, so I figured why not. Scrolling through the menu, I noticed they had a couple of buy one get one deals, which definitely caught my attention. I ended up ordering wontons as an appetizer and chicken fried rice, both part of the BOGO deal, plus an order of Mongolian beef. I placed the order and headed over for pickup. When I got there about 20 minutes later, everything was ready to go. It was quick and easy, in and out with no hassle. Once I got home, everyone dug in. Overall, the food was good. The wontons and the Mongolian beef were the standouts for sure. The fried rice was decent, but it felt a little bland compared to everything else. This isn't authentic Chinese food by any means. It's definitely more American-style Chinese takeout, but sometimes that's exactly what you're in the mood for. The buy one get one deals make it even more worth it. I'd order from here again when I'm looking for that guilty pleasure Chinese food fix.

The portions were generous with plenty of leftovers to pack up in takeout boxes for enjoying for another day. My favorite three were the ahi tuna, the black cod and the brilliant asian/french mash up of red Bean Creme Brulee. I also need to mention, I loved the lamb tenderloin. I am not a big lamb fan, but this New Zealand lamb was tender and non-gamey. The owners did an outstanding job of timing the dishes and engaging with our group while also taking care of other diners including non event patrons getting getting take-out and inhouse menu dining. The space is very small, but even with and almost full house, it didn't feel cramped. To start, you can't go wrong with the enthusiastic welcome we always receive. Then quickly seated and wine poured. The 2026 CNY menu was fabulous, with some great surprises. The ahi tartare portion anywhere else would have been a shareable appetizer. But each person was served a large portion of delicious fresh ahi. Mmmm this course and a glass of wine could be dinner alone any other evening. The soft creamy rich egg custard was hidden under a thick seafood gravy. I really enjoyed this unique dish. The miso black cod is always flaky and delicious. And the crab fried rice it's nestled on also never disappoints. The rich New Zealand stir fried lamb and shiitake mushrooms over pea shoots was a fabulous hearty dish on this chilly March evening. The braised short ribs were so tender no knife was needed, they flaked apart with the fork. And the e mein noodles were perfectly al dente. The dinner wrapped up with a crème brûlée that only Kwok's could pull off - red bean. Creamy smooth. Not overwhelming. The perfect burnt sugar layer on top. The regular menu is just as delicious. Small inside seating area, so recommend always make a reservation. In the summer there's a fabulous patio area out front. Limited street parking.

The filling was a little bit sweet, and a little bit savory, and the shell was well fried, crispy, and not oily at all. They were offering a BOGO on the combination plate, and so that's what I went for. I had the garlic chicken, and the chicken with seasonal. Veggies. On both dishes, the chicken was moist and tender. The veggies were done well. Just the right consistency, not mushy at all. The taste was great. The only thing I could say, was, the garlic chicken was a bit spicy. About medium on what I like for spice, you could definitely see the red pepper flakes on that food. Unfortunately, nowhere in the menu did it mention the spicy part of it. I did like it, and the spice was within what I like, but I think the next time I would order something else. The fried rice was very well done with a good flavor also. It was just the rice. It had no egg or veggies in it. I had enough for two meals on the first combo, and the second one went into my portable cooler, and is going home to Sacramento with me. For all I got, the price was extremely reasonable, even if I would've gotten only one combination. Thank you very much.
