    Thai time mule

A perfectly quaint dinner spot with creative menu options for adventurous eaters, and tried and true classics for those who like to stick to the basics. We had the chicken fried quail and blackberry ravioli featured entrees paired with the chocolate walnut old fashioned and Thai time mule respectively. The food was fantastic and the drinks were well crafted. The service was efficient and Crystal took great care of us. Both of us appreciated the decor and lighting, it almost felt like we were on a movie set. We can't wait to return and try something new!

This place was such a dream! The staff were so polite and welcoming, everything was nice and clean, the vibe was spot on. I got an almond croissant, waffle, and MRG latte and all three were to die for. If I was a local I'd be here all the time, definitely recommend!

The avocado toast was a little disappointing. There was barely avocado and probably a spread used vs fresh avocados. Yet it was loaded with some smoked tofu chorizo thing. Not my favorite. My husband got the breakfast sandwich, which he said was solid. They gave me a dairy milk vs the oat milk I ordered (lactose intolerant), but our server was perceptive and immediately offered to redo my drink. So I'd say the service was great. I had lactaid and just took that with what they served me, which was still delicious. Super spacious with lots of seating, so is say great for groups. Will try something else next time!

I was honestly hesitant after reading the reviews, but my first visit here did not disappoint. The mid-century modern atmosphere is nice, and the menu is unique & fun. I got the iced matcha latte, which was refreshing. It wasn't too sweet and not too earthy, a great balance. For my entree, I tried the molé chicken tacos. They were amazing with the side of hot sauce. It gave them a nice kick! If you don't have room for dessert, definitely ask for a cookie to go. They are comically large & perfect for sharing. If you're on the fence about this place, definitely give them a try.

The salmon burger is so good! I took away a point because it was a bit spicy for me! I love the vibe of the building and the employees plus the overall aesthetic and decor are everything! Even the restrooms are super cute and clean! I wasn't a huge fan of the matcha. My sweetener option was honey and I like flavored creamer so I'll pass on that! The tea was pretty good though! Overall it seems like a great establishment focused on clean ingredients and I can always appreciate that! Our waitress was so kind even though I was incredibly indecisive! I'd definitely recommend and return! Maybe I'll try sitting outside next time!

We stopped in for a quick lunch at this lovely little cafe in maple ridge and the food and service were both excellent.

This place is so quaint and fun. The service is always good too. I've been here for drinks with friends and this time did lunch with a colleague. We had the ricotta appetizer and it was so yummy. We both got Cuban sandwiches. They are huge and a tasty treat.

Pros: the five of us really liked the food. The pork belly gyro came out first. I thought it was going to be my favorite dish. But then the smoked salmon eggs Benedict came out. It was such a flavorful, but still light dish. Really enjoyed it. My other friends got sandwiches or some kind. Those were unremarkable, but they all came with these delicious potatoes. Really good service. Good drinks. Possibly the bloody Mary was too spicy but still good. I got some kind of lavender Mocktail. And one of my friends got some kind of strawberry drink. Cons: Came here with my monthly brunch group. We had a reservation for five and they did kind of sit us at a small booth. I wish they had sat us at a bigger table. A friend of mine has been here for lunch and she said it was nothing special and she definitely hasn't been back. One of my friends wanted to try the baba ghanoush. It was different than any baba ghanoush I had ever seen, and I didn't like it. I don't think anyone did. Except I brought the leftovers home to my husband and he loved it.

Went there on 11/30/25. Super nice staff. Good food and even better bloody Mary's. It can get busy so I suggest calling ahead to check the wait. We sat at the bar and loved chatting w the bartender.

This was a great spot for a quick brunch! They offer very unique breakfast dishes that all sounded delicious. We ended up going with the Pulled Pork Hash and the TAC sandwich! Both were very tasty and were a decent portion size. The service is good and they provide different seating areas to choose from!

My husband and I took two friends to Maple Ridge Grocery last night for dinner. Our friends had never been there and they were excited to try it. I absolutely love the atmosphere and the staff is super nice but honestly the food is always so so, especially for the price point. Last night I ordered the crab cakes for $17 and was happy to hear that they got their Seafood from Bodean. I have ordered crab cakes all over this city and these are some of the worst I've ever had. First off they were tiny. There were three tiny little crab cakes that have been turned on their sides. Every one had been thoroughly burned on the bottom so they were thick and that part tasted awful. The fact that they were so small meant that pretty much the whole tiny little cake tasted like burned and had a weird chewy texture. Looking back i should have sent them back but we were having a nice night with friends and i wanted things to stay chill. My friend ordered the burger and for $18 you think it would be bigger than a McDonald's burger... and it was....barely. They ordered the queso and it came with fries. There were definitely not enough fries for that amount of queso but we didn't realize that when you asked for more that they would charge you. I think that should be made a little more clear. Also? Maybe just include an extra handful of fries from the beginning so people have enough. I love that this is a cool place in my neighborhood and I really want to come here more often but I've just not had consistently great experiences. I'll give it some time and hope that things improve. I'll reiterate that the staff was lovely.

Yummy BLT sandwich (with feta and beef bacon) and AMAZING homemade fries. I also got a side of their homemade mayo and it was a little tart and super delicious. I wish the latte was a little more balanced (it had an off milk to espresso ratio) but still yummy!

Salmon Sandwich and chips. The salmon was a little salty for my taste, but it was still very tasty. I had them put the mayo on the side.

@auds.later and I had a lunch date at @maple_ridge_grocer the other day. The aesthetic is very cool. The restaurant made me feel calm. I got the salmon sandwich and a london fog with lavender. Both were super yummy. That LF was what the doctor ordered. Also, look at this chips! Auds had the chicken orzo soup and a coffee. She enjoyed the seasoning in the soup and we want to bring that java blend home. As with all Mcnellies Group restaurants, your thanx app is accepted and they give a postcard with the bill that they will gladly add postage and mail for you. This is something I hope they never quit. I take advantage of it every time!

From a recent visit on Valentine's Day due to a spot having their kitchen close early (my pops was performing across the street so when they were done, we came over here), I'm glad we ended up eating here. We came in, got greeted instantly & even got a table the moment after we got greeted. I find it wild that we usually get seated by the stairs in the middle, not in a bad way, I really like that table & we end up there a majority of the time when it's just us two. I wish I remembered our server's name, she did an excellent job. I went with the Whiskey Burger & it was incredible. The wait on the food didn't take long at all. The whiskey chipotle BBQ sauce stole the show. The burger was perfect. The sweet potato fries went well with the burger, I got honey mustard as my dipping sauce. I was so hungry that I ran through my whole plate in a snap of a finger. I enjoyed that night, no complaints whatsoever. Side Note: The Olympics were going on & Curling was on the television on my right. I actually looked up how the sport takes place & I learned something new that night (outside of the fact that Curling always intrigued me).

We opted for this Irish themed pub last night for dinner, and can't say enough about the service, food and atmosphere. McNellie's (sounds Irish, right?) is located on one of the seemingly lonely streets near downtown, and came highly recommended by our hotel barista. The ambiance is definitely Irish-pub--dark wood, old wooden floors and walls of exposed brick--definitely a cool sanctuary from the oppressive summer heat and humidity. And what better way to quench your thirst and beer curiosity than choosing from hundreds of beers both on tap and bottled. For the local beer enthusiasts there is a Centennial club which rewards frequent imbibers with gifts leading up to the coveted pottery mug! Our server, McKayla--was delightful. She definitely enjoyed serving us, and offered recommendations good service and conversation. The summer salad caught my wife's eye, and she enjoyed the fresh mix of roasted pistachios, cheese, watermelon and mango. I jumped at the fish and chips, which I can honesty was the best I've ever had--topping what we had years ago at an English pub by a mile. McNellie's fish portion was large, and the batter was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I was a little surprised with the small portion of chips (fries), as most establishments seem give you lot, but I guess I was thankful in a way. With some beer left in our glasses, we decided to order a plate of fries (white and sweet) for desert! If you like beer and good Irish comfort food, McNellie's is a sure bet!
