Breakfast burrito and grits

Food is amazing. Service is amazing. A great place for Brunch! Fast service. Small wait to get in but they run it like a well oiled machine. Very popular place for good reason

Savoy! Our first experience at this quaint, tucked away breakfast place at 61st and Sheridan. We were pleasantly surprised by the waitress asking how we were and we told her that it was our first time there. Minutes later we were greeted and surprised by this larger than life hot homemade cinnamon roll slathered with frosting, yum! The four separate meals were served at the same time, hot and fresh out of the kitchen. I ordered the Mexican skillet with the tortilla chips and honestly it was my mistake. I should have subbed the chips with potatoes., it was like eating nachos with eggs. Then the cheese got cold. Nonetheless everyone else was pleased with their meal. We will definitely return.

If there was one thing I am most impressed about Savoy, it is the impeccable service. My server David was so attentive and excellent at his job. What was not as impressive about Savoy is the price of their breakfast entrees, $16-$17 each. I don't know how others feel about this price but it's expensive for breakfast. Each entree comes with an abundant of food though. The $17 chorizo skillet came with biscuit and gravy. My server was generous with the biscuit, giving me two instead of one. The chorizo skillet was good but it was a lot of food for one person so I got 2 meals out of one. This brunch diner was busy on a Saturday morning. The good thing about this diner was there is no wait time. I got a seat pretty much right away, albeit by the exit door, so it was noisy most of the time. I liked this breakfast diner. Great service and good food. The food could be cheaper though.

I had heard about the Savoy for years and we finally came and tried it for ourselves. We both had the western omelets and added avocado my husband also added jalapeños. They were delicious! My husband wasn't sure he was crazy about the filling veggies not being cooked but it all tasted great! We both had home fries and the omelets come with toast or biscuits or gravy and we got the biscuits and gravy. When it all came out I said "WOW! We could've shared!" The biscuits and gravy were a huge serving! I certainly didn't finish all of anything I had and my husband actually had a biscuit left over! We got a cinnamon roll to go since we needed to try what we've heard so much about!

we stopped in to the Savoy after church today. We kept it pretty simple and went with the go-to items here. At least my go-to items. Ha ha if you haven't had the Savoy cream puff or eclair yet, you are missing out on one of life's greatest pleasures. Not only are they huge, but the cream filling is delicious and the pastry itself is flaky and scrumptious. To top off the entrée cream puff and eclair, we also had a half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are some of the best I've ever had and the gravy is also very good. our server was very personable and attentive.

Prior to going to Savoy to eat, I had heard from others just how good their food was. Actually, I had actually enjoyed some of their catered fare during a Christmas party with a previous employer. So when my wife suggested we go for breakfast I was definitely enticed by the opportunity. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed that it was very much like a diner. Well lit, clean, plenty of tables and space, lots of waiters, and it was busy! All good signs of a good experience. We took our seats and were immediately helped by "Katie" who took our drink orders with a friendly smile and morning cheer. The menu is a simple front/back diner type with relatively basic selections. Known for their delicious cinnamon rolls, I avoided the temptation to get just a roll and had the California Skillet. The hashbrown based egg scramble came out on a hot skillet with two huge biscuits and a bowl of gravy. Needless to say, I did not finish with a "happy plate" because I filled up too quickly. I did go ahead and order the cinnamon roll to go, so we'll see about that later. Excellent service, excellent food, nice ambiance, I'm glad we went and we will be returning in the future!

Chorizo Benedict. This would be my go to

This would be your "just around the corner, old time diner" type place. You get to seat yourself. Since it our our first time there, we were served a (free) nice, iced cinnamon roll. It was good! I didn't have it in me to ask them to warm my free cinnamon roll, so I enjoyed it by dipping it in my coffee. Seating is practically close together, so if privacy is what you want, not the place for it. My friend ordered the French toast, I had the Chorizo Benedict with the home fries...it was delicious. The server said it had a kick, but I didn't taste it. Regardless, it was delicious! My friend enjoyed his French toast. I noticed on our way out that there were freshly made pies in the back. They looked amazing! I would definitely come by for a dessert pick up here, on my way to a party...Good cup of coffee here, and great service!

I've been here a few times and honestly it's one of the few diners I'll go too. Super fast after ordering, large portions and even have a few alcoholic beverages. They even have frozen to go. If you've never been, let them know so you can get a free cinnamon roll. They're known for them. The spot is 3 area with restrooms in each.

Go to breakfast spot. Enjoy the cinnamon roll French toast. Chorizo gravy. Chicken and waffles. Always very friendly staff as well.

Dang these cinnamon rolls were good! Worth the takeout order or in person made fresh daily every morning! Can't wait to come back up from Dallas to try the food too!!

Have you even had breakfast in Tulsa if you haven't been to The Savoy? Cinnamon Rolls are a MUST! They are simply the best. Outstanding service, clean and lively atmosphere. Chicken and Waffles were crisp, fresh and well-seasoned. Hot cakes...Yowsa, they were huge! Definitely a place to bring out of towners, family breakfast, or meet up with friends. Highly recommend.

Oh not good. Everyone talks about the cinnamon rolls here but Tally's is super close and ahas a much better cinnamon roll. The cinnamon rolls at Savoy are like yeast rolls with icing on top, so boring and served cold. Our chicken and waffles was bleh. The waffles were undercooked and doughy, the chicken bland and in need of seasoning.

As you come in there are numbers outside the door you take one and wait outside they will come out the door and call your number. My husband and I both ordered under server with two eggs, I got the pork chop and eggs and he got the chicken fried steak and eggs. I advise for people who like salt and pepper to taste and you will probably need to add. To me that is fine as I like more salt and pepper but my husband does not. I can add but he can not take it out. I we do taste each others the food is good I do feel that the chicken fried steak was a little on the tough side. My pork chops have no bones it is just the heart of them which I like not having the bone. It is also a thick cut and juicy. I ordered my eggs over easy and they were made as I ordered. I ordered my hash browns extra crispy. The out side really crispy and the inside soft and creamy feel. Potatoes were fully cooked. . The toast looks homemade, it is lightly toasted and buttered. I really liked the toast. I got a mimosa it has orange pulp and it is very good. This was our first time here, the seat is is great and quick as the restaurant was full. Their bread is homemade and they sell it. FYI.

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

What a fantastic little find!…read more We stopped by for brunch as this "Mediterranean-inspired" brunch caught our eye. It lived up to our expectations and exceeded them. The restaurant is bright, clean, and modern. We started with the Smooth Criminal cocktail and the Pineapple Sangria. Both great. Well balanced, unique ingredients, everything you want in a unique cocktail. We did order the whipped feta appetizer, but unfortunately they were very busy and there was some miscommunication. We didn't get to eat it at the restaurant, but they kindly packaged it for us to take home and we enjoyed it later. Although it was good, it would have been way better fresh. But these things happen, it didn't spoil our brunch. On to the mains: lamb shoulder hash...at brunch? Yes, please!!! Topped with two perfectly poached eggs, and brunch potatoes on the side with a nice crisp salad and fresh bread. The lamb was seasoned to perfection, and melted in my mouth. The biggest surprise for me were the potatoes. Brunch potatoes are usually overly greasy and bland. These were fresh, salted, and had the perfect crispness. I would like to think they are fresh, but even if they're frozen...well done! I would have happily eaten 2-3 of these lamb dishes. The French toast was the second entree. Brown butter and maple foam, on top of a piece of French toast that is the size of a small child. Even with all of the sauce, the toast was still crisp. It was a very heavy dish, some fresh berries with some acidity would be nice to cut through it, but the overall flavor was on point. The wine list is exquisite. If you enjoy good wine, this is the spot for you. Their reserve list has some absolute bangers on it at a very reasonable price. All in all, it was a nice experience. We would happily recommend and return.

Ambiance reminds me of a fancy place you would find in a larger city. Upscale and minimalistic. Very pleasant. I sat at the bar so unsure about service at a table. Unfortunately, I felt overlooked at the bar, especially since I wasn't drinking. The staff was extremely busy making drinks and I had to get their attention whenever I needed anything. Would recommend making reservations to get a table seat to receive proper service. I ordered the burger with fries. Cooked well but the flavor was nothing special. We had a reservation, arrived on time, and were told our table wasn't ready. It was a beautiful evening and we weren't in a rush, so no issue there. When an outdoor table opened up, we waited for it to be cleared. My husband went back inside to let the hostesses know we'd be sitting outside instead, and they said that was fine. I had actually tried to reserve an outdoor table earlier and was told they were first-come, first-served, so this seemed perfectly reasonable. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill. A waitress came out and told us we couldn't sit there. We explained the situation, and she became visibly irritated and went inside. Another staff member came out and insisted we hadn't checked in at the hostess stand. When I explained again that we had, she repeatedly implied we were lying, even stating she had been at the stand. Both my husband and I had spoken to the hostesses, so this was confusing and frankly inappropriate. I firmly offered to go inside to clear it up with the hostesses, but she continued to question our honesty. At that point, my husband asked her to be nice, and she walked away. Meanwhile, the guests at the table next to us commented on how poorly we were being treated, which validated how strange the situation felt. We befriended them and talked and laughed while we waited. 20 minutes - no menus or drinks. My husband went inside and asked for a manager. 30 minutes - nothing. 40 minutes - still nothing. When I asked a server, she told me the manager was the same person I had "yelled at" (which was actually kind of humorous because though I was firm, I did not yell). She then told us the only other option was to speak to the owner, adding that he would likely just ask us to leave. At that point, we called a friend who is a well-known and respected local chef. He said this experience didn't surprise him and described ongoing issues with the owner/chef at Stonehorse. He stated, "He's a talented chef, but has horrible management and customer service skills." Interestingly, the regulars sitting next to us said the same. What's most telling is that we tried this restaurant a few months ago and left before being seated because the atmosphere felt negative. No one was smiling, and the energy was off. After tonight, it makes sense. It's unfortunate, because the location is great and the food may be as well, but leadership sets the tone, and it shows. This was hands down the worst dining experience we've had, and I would strongly caution others before going.

Crust, char...perfect! Had the Hawaiian and the BBQ chicken..,could have outdone themselves, but WAY too many large onions! Dropped it to a 4 star for me. I guess if you're a big onion fan, then perhaps it's spectacular, but Hawaiian should haven't any. Right? Feel like that's a miss on the chef's part. Wish I would have asked them to 86 them. ‍ But solid place...give it try, have everything I suggest above, but if you are just "meh" on onion...I'd recommend asking them to either lighten or hold them all together.
