The food was absolutely delicious. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, and the service was impeccable. We started with the bacon jam, which was everything you'd expect, but was a tad bit too sweet to eat a lot of. We then moved on to the Idaho trout and grilled chicken. The trout was perfectly cooked, the sauce and vegetables were the perfect pairing for a light dish. The grilled chicken had a nice assortment of gnocchi and a delicious onion cream sauce. For sides we had the Brussels sprout appetizer with bacon, apples, honey, and goat cheese...WOW! We also had the potato pave. The potatoes were yummy once we added salt and pepper. Without it, they were extremely bland, but once seasoned, I devoured all of them. Finish them with flaky salt before serving, it makes a huge difference. For dessert we had the orange marmalade bread pudding. It was ok, but I wish we chose something else. The flavors just didn't mesh. We will happily go back and will 100% recommend this restaurant to our friends.
If you love a good smoked flavor in your steak, this is definitely your place. Steaks are cooked over open fire and our ribeye was perfection. Since Hubs and I were sharing, they even managed to do a medium to medium rare to make us both happy. The salmon dip was excellent with a smoked and spicy flavor. The server brought us crackers made in house since we didn't want the rice crackers. Those were fire spicy and absolutely delicious, seasoned with Old Bay. The atmosphere is old & traditional, matching the vibe of the food. There is also a beautiful old bar for your pre dinner drinks and an extensive menu of whiskey, wine, cocktails. Something for everyone. We will be back!
Lunch at Smoke -1:00 Considering they had 2 huge party (Christmas?) tables, we had no complaints about service. We asked for a booth and were promptly accommodated. Food was a little slow, but in the interim we were offered their awesome house made potato chips and ranch dressing. Hubby ordered the dip sandwich, thought there was too much bread but loved the smoky beef, not the dip. Too oniony in his opinion. I thought it a tad greasy. I waffled between the hamburger and chicken on focaccia. I asked our waitress about the height of the chicken because I envisioned a full breast wrapped between two slices of focaccia. She said they were equal but agreed the focaccia would likely be messier. My hamburger was dry IMO. And the fries were burned. I liked the house made catsup. I haven't reviewed every visit. This is just what our experience was this day. I like Smoke. I recommend it. It's a dedicated restaurant. Busy, yes. Why? They deserve it. Stepping up to the occasion.
I've loved Smoke for years, but the brunch is now my favorite in Tulsa! I was with some girls for a bachelorette brunch, and our server was fantastic! The Bloody Mary bar was my favorite thing ever. They even had a house made hot sauce that was delicious. And the bacon jam appetizer was the best bite of the whole day. It's in a great location, and we had a great booth in the front. Went in for brunch today n a Sunday and had a pretty good smoke salmon on toast with fresh cheese and arugula. Sat at the bar and the service was attentive, with a pretty good Irish coffee. The complementary biscuits were fresh and buttery but the side order of bacon I got I was t a fan off.
Had a business lunch at Smoke Woodfire Grill in Tulsa, and while the food wasn't quite what I'd hoped for this time, there were still plenty of positives that made the experience worthwhile. We arrived right at 11 AM and were seated immediately, which was perfect for our meeting. The ambiance was warm, quiet, and inviting--ideal for a productive and relaxed business lunch. Our server, Savannah, was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. She took our drink orders while we waited for the rest of our group, and stayed on top of things without being overbearing. The menu offered a wide variety of appealing options, and I appreciated how thoughtfully it was put together. While waiting, someone at the table ordered the Fried Calamari and Potato Croquettes. The calamari was just okay--nothing wrong with it, but nothing memorable either. I didn't try the croquettes, but they were well-presented and others at the table seemed to enjoy them. I eventually chose the Reuben Sandwich, which is one of my all-time favorites. It arrived looking fantastic--generous portion, beautifully grilled marble rye, and a pile of fries cooked perfectly crispy as requested. But when I took a bite, something just didn't sit right. The corned beef had an unusual seasoning--maybe allspice or something similar--that gave the sandwich an odd flavor. I asked Savannah about it, and she went straight to the kitchen to get clarification. She came back, explained what spices were used, and immediately offered to replace the dish with something else. I declined, but she asked again--her commitment to making things right was impressive. Interestingly, my colleague who ordered the same sandwich had a similar reaction, so I think it just wasn't our kind of seasoning. It's worth noting that I've eaten at Smoke before and had a fantastic meal, so I know this place can deliver great food. This particular dish just didn't land for me. Great service, good food, lots of booths and not very noisy. Hope really liked her tenderloin, my NY strip was good but a little tough, both cooked exactly as ordered. Not impressed by the wings, they were tasty but dry. The complimentary bread basket got rave reviews for both the bread and butter.
Great spot in midtown. The service and ambiance were great. It was lively for a Wednesday to me but maybe that's normal. Ourfood was great! We had calamari and cauliflower for apps and our entrees were salmon with grits and potato croquettes and salmon with mac n cheese and baby broccoli. The food was amazing for drinks we had 2 amazing house cocktails that I dont remember the names of.
Good service, consistent food, and great happy hour! They have a discounted martini of the week during happy hour, as well as discounted wines, beers and appetizers. Everyone raves about their weekend brunch options, but it's not really for me. The restaurant is always clean and usually pretty busy. I was disappointed when they remodeled and removed the private room. It was a great place to host bookclub meetings.
Where do I begin... got reservations to celebrate birthdays for my daughters and when we arrived the place was packed! More than usual for this night of the week. It did get somewhat loud but it's tolerable. We have been here before and wanted to come back and get the Butcher Board, so that's what we did. And it did not disappoint!!! Meat for days and vegetables that were perfectly cooked! I would suggest that it is enough for four people! It was absolutely delicious!
First date in 10 years and 6 months so when asked "Where would you like to go?" I chose here. I had eaten here a couple decades before and it still remains on the A+ list. Romantic, can actually hear each other talk, sparks interest due to many qualities. The wait staff are very attentive and kind. You know that saying "You get what you pay for?" Well, it is true. Pricing may be steep for some, worth it. My prayer would be that everyone could experience it at least once in their lifetime. I have been blessed to go twice.
HFS! Look, out of all the places in the world I've been, I'm pleasantly surprised to find this place. Fresh gnocchi, fresh sprouts, fresh chicken.... Fresh everything and delectable. We stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere and decor was very cute and inviting. Our serviced was super nice and attentive. We ordered the tri tip dip sandwich which was the highlight of the meal. It was delicious. We also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and that was full of flavor. The focaccia was on the dryer side and the chicken didn't fill out the bun so it was just kind of off texture wise and lacking fullness but the favor was 10/10. It was our first time to this restaurant and it was amazing. Melissa was our waitress and she gave excellent recommendations. The food was fantastic and the ambiance was very comfortable. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will come again. read more

Smoke is the catfish of restaurants... everything was way undercooked. Unsafe to eat. Not sure if it's because it's smoked instead of grilled, but the burger and steak were so undercooked that cow was still alive. And I'm someone who only eats beef medium rare. read more

Went to grab a quick bite before catching a comedy show. We got sat within a few mins, thankfully we had reservations as it was busy. We didnt wait too long to get our food. We ordered drinks, apps, entrees and everything came out quick, fresh, and hot. read more
This location has street parking which can be hit or miss to find. We didn't have a reservation when we dropped in on a Wednesday evening but were able to get a table right away. The bar area is small but well stocked with options. The interior is dark with lots of wood. Our server was friendly and going about checking with the kitchen about some dietary restrictions. My husband didn't get one of his food items which should have come when they brought my salad. The Caesar was good but I don't like the whole lettuce and prefer it to be chopped up. I really enjoyed my halibut in the curry sauce with fried rice. The flavor was a touch of heat and just a good blend of spices. My husband enjoyed his fish and green beans. I thought there was a bit too much garlic for me. read more

We got so lucky! Stopped in here right after Christmas with no reservation & they had had a cancellation so we got a table!!! Everything was delicious! We love a good crispy brussel sprout & these did NOT disappoint!!! They were different from any others we had had and were DELICIOUS!!! With apple, bacon, shallots & a maple Tabasco vinaigrette!! Wow! I wasn't wanting anything too heavy so I opted for the smoke wedge salad which was delicious & the horseradish cheddar potato croquettes! They were delicious!!! The atmosphere was nice, clean, cozy and service was good! Would definitely come back!!! read more

We were visiting from out of town and were referred this restaurant by a local. First let me say- we're from New Orleans, so we know good food and good service. We're pretty picky about our steak and the filet we got at Smoke was fantastic! Perfectly cooked, high quality, and spectacularly grilled. The brussel sprouts were spectacular and the bacon jam app delicious, the potato croquet was pretty heavy yet delicious, but the service really set it apart. Our friend told us to ask for Victor to be our server and we were lucky enough to get him. He was friendly, kind, thorough, and he went over and above to make the experience the absolute best! read more

Decided on Smoke after a show. We arrived around 8-830. Seating was available but we opted for the bar to watch football. The bartender was attentive and gave us a moment to review the drink list as well as the menu. I decided on the Smoked Pasta. He had the Smoked Lamb Bolognese with potato croquettes. Wine for him and the Earl Grey Espresso Martini for me. Holy WOW.... Everything was absolutely amazing. The smoke flavor was prominent in both entrees but not overbearing. The Earl Grey Espresso martini was fabulous with a unique flavor from the added Earl Grey. The potato croquettes were soft and so good paired with the horseradish cream sauce. A great experience with great service, food, and drinks. read more

Went to Smoke for a birthday dinner. We've been before and it was as good as ever. From the drinks, to appetizers to the complimentary birthday dessert it was a delicious meal. Our server Abby was fantastic! She did a great job explaining everything and helping us when we needed it! 10/10. I love the atmosphere, it's well lit and quiet with music adding a vibe but not taking away from conversation. We had the best time! read more

Really awesome place in downtown Tulsa area. Have a broad menu along with an expansive drink menu. Lots of local craft drafts and handcrafted cocktails (a big plus!). Food was reasonably priced. Everyone at our table got the bone-in pork chop, and I had the mushroom pasta. emEverything was excellent! Chris did a great job serving us. Only negative with this place is that it was beyond freezing inside. Apparently they have to run the AC super cold because the building has moisture issues. Unfortunately, I would not come back here for this reason alone because it was uncomfortably cold. Happy to check it out again during the colder season, when they will likely have the heat activated. read more

Service was a little slow, but the food was very good. They started us with complimentary house made chips that were really good. Husband had brisket mac and cheese, the brisket had a sweet BBQ sauce. I had the brisket melt sandwich. It had a smoky flavor instead of the sweet BBQ. Both were good. read more

In case you're not familiar with one of Tulsa's best (ahem, just a casual James Beard Semi Finalist ), SMOKE. cooks each of their proteins either over the open flame of their woodfire grill, or they have been slow smoked. Their menu of sharables, salads, steaks, sides, and a lot more that doesn't start with and s, is locally sourced and changes with the seasons. You'll always find some familiar favorites, along with some new features and special dishes. So grab a reservation (for brunch, lunch, or dinner), a craft cocktail or local beer, the Fried Cauliflower (TRUST ME!), and literally any meat on the menu, and you're in for a treat. read more
Food: sides were all pretty lackluster honestly. Expected ALOT more out of the brisket Mac and cheese, tasted like watery pasta with brisket that was drowning in BBQ sauce. Mashed potatoes were also pretty dry as well. Salad was decent, wings were smoked well and were definitely better than the sides. The star of the show however was the pork chop. While being pretty salty, I'd rather more flavor than less. It was juicy and cooked expertly, I'd easily consider it one of the best pork chops I've ever had. Service: we had a reservation and had to wait a while, other than that, a very pleasant and professional service. Ambiance: pretty nice inside. My husband and I love our dinner at Smoke! We live in Okc and drive up once a year. The salmon is out of the this world amazing! The grilled romaine is top tier. Phenomenal experience every time! read more
I wandered in straight from the airport, around 3pm this week and Kyle provided excellent service. I was ravenous, so I ordered enough food for an army. Starters: Lamb Sliders Bacon Jam -Herbed goat cheese, crostini, pork rinds Main: 8oz Tenderloin (grilled medium to perfection) Side: Horseradish-cheddar potato croquette, SO GOOD! Dessert: Flourless chocolate cake - who doesn't love a delicate bite after a heavy meal? I was in town for 24 hours. I needed food. This place hit the spot. Thanks Kyle and Smoke on Cherry Street for taking such great care. read more
