    Bar

This place is cool. If you want a bar that is considered a proper bar, you won't beat this one.

I may be a bit partial, but I love drakes. Drakes really is a place where everybody knows your name. It's a nice little shot-gun bar... long, straight bar with stools, and a few little tables in the back, set just above the bar. They've got darts in the back, and they're always playing great music. It's dark and smokey, with lots of regulars, but everyone is very friendly and easy to talk with (not a stranger in the lot). If you're there over the weekend, make sure to cozy up to the bartender, Joe. The most easy going bartender in town, and fantastic taste in music! It's right in the middle of Cherry Street, so stop by after your next date night and check 'em out! Highly recommended.

This is the bar from the table up on the platform.

Joe is the best bartender. He's attentive and friendly, and he has great taste in music. Each time I've been here, the patrons are friendly. It's a dark and smokey bar with a group of regulars that just add to the ambiance. Great place.

Speedy service, strong drinks, average prices. No complaints, we always come back when in the area. Just a good classic dive bar.

Cool, chill little dove bar on Cherry Street. Music was great. Lots of tv's, smoking but not too bad when we were in there.

Great place if you're looking for a Tulsa dive bar that allows smoking indoors. (Limited seating).

I know that people have really strong feelings about this place one way or the other so I'm just gonna be brave about this and charge on. It had been several years since I actually had ate here, and my husband had never been, so we made a date of it! As as soon as you walk in the door, you know you're at someplace special. The interior of this restaurant immediately transports you to that green island across the sea. We started our evening with appetizers, one from their OktoberFest menu (the sausage balls) and another from their regular menu (the goat and cream cheese plate). The sausage balls are flavorful and filled with sausage, cabbage, and cheese. It's fried almost like an arancini and they serve three of them with a sauce that neither of us could quite identify, but I'm sure it was on the menu description. I am not a big fan of cabbage, even if it is something that you can't really taste it in so this wasn't my personal favorite. My husband said it needed just a little bit more seasoning, but it was otherwise delicious. Out of the two, my favorite was the goat cheese which was served with a toasted bread. For our mains, I got the classic Guinness steak pie with the brown gravy, and my husband got the fish and chips. Hands-down, you cannot beat this steak pie! The crust was delicious, the filling was seasoned just right and the brown gravy around it was just perfection. For the side I switched out the seasoned vegetables for the green beans. The green beans were still crunchy in a good way, and seasoned with salt pepper and a little bit of garlic. This is brought out in a shareable size and paired well with the hardiness of the steak pie. My husband's fish and chips were unfortunately a little lackluster. For our personal taste, the batter was just a bit too cakey and was really dark. The potato wedges that were served with it were decent. Though for our personal taste, I wish that they had been dropped a little bit longer in the fryer. They have an in-house tartar sauce that they put olives in. If you're like my husband, you might want to steer clear and just grab the malt vinegar or ketchup instead. It wasn't bad, he just doesn't like olives.‍ Our server was really kind and attentive, even though he was running about half of the tables in the restaurant! We definitely will be back to try more of the menu and plan to bring family in as they enjoy an Irish pub scene as well. I'm giving them a 4 star review because I can't give them a 3.5. and I like to round up. I think a lot of of what we experienced was just personal preference and like I said we do plan to come back because we have loved ones who will enjoy this. Overall, a great midweek dining experience.

Prices may seem a little bit high on the food, but I do think it's worth it based on how much you get. The drinks on the other hand... I'm not enough of a drinker to know if the prices are fair, but they do seem a little bit high to me. They're great, but they do see them on the higher end as far as price is concerned for a mixed drink in Tulsa. It's a fun atmosphere, and they are really easy to work with as far as if you want to host an event here. I've hosted a handful of events here at this point with different types of people in attendance, and everyone always seems to be happy. The staff truly are super easy to work with in that aspect.

It was seat yourself and order at the bar, and there were plenty clean open tables! We were thrilled. Our drinks were poured instantly and food didn't take long at all. I love that they have cocktails added which differs from their original brewery taproom. My brat was delicious. Super hot and fresh fries. But I was actually disappointed in the cheese curds. They were gritty texture and way over salted. That was the main thing everyone told me to try, but I'd definitely still go back.
