We stopped by here on 3/16/26. We wanted to go before St. Patrick's day to avoid the crowd because this place is pretty small. It feels like a true Irish pub and we loved it. We didn't know it, but it was $10 fish and chips night, the dish is usually $19. That also seems like their most popular dish. We ordered one of those and also the pastrami meatballs. The fish and chips is large enough for two to share, especially paired with the meatballs. There were 3 meatballs in the dish. They were covered with cheese and sauce and so good. The portion was perfect for two to share. For drinks, I had Chardonnay and my husband had Guiness. Both very good. Overall we really enjoyed Bishop Quigley's. We would definitely go back. Tried again,,,had a coupon for wintery mix...no place to sit, ignored by staff, no greeting, no hello, nothing. Not even a simple acknowledgment. Caesar salad a few drops of dressing waste of money. Burger plain no flavor fries under cooked wedges. Service super slow and waitress never refilled or even looked our way. A colleague who has lived in Europe told me that the fish and chips is pretty good, so I had to try it. It is my first time eating this type of chips. We checked out the Tulsa Irish festival on a cold wet day in March. The beers were $15 and the price of food was just as ridiculous. We left early. I thought we were going home, but Dan surprised me by stopping at Bishop Quigley's. What a fun surprise! We found the Irish festival we were looking for. We were surrounded by Irish in a nice warm room where beers were half the price and food was more reasonable. This was my first time ever ordering Fish & Chips on purpose. I'm not sure if I ever had Fish & Chips as I'm typing this. Looking at the menu online before I got here, I placed my order the moment I walked in & sat at the bar. I was greeted when I sat down. There were a handful of people there, the waiter was covering the whole spot. My order didn't take long to come out & I enjoyed my meal. As the ketchup & malt vinegar were sitting in front of me before my food even got there, the lemon & tartar sauce did their thing to where I didn't need the other two. The fish covers a majority of the plate. I squeezed the lemon (a charred lemon at that) over all of it & the chips. The tartar sauce was well seasoned & there was more than enough for the fish. Same for the chips, well salted & something I left plain (the ketchup would've worked well). A good first impression for Fish & Chips. He said, "I had never heard of Pastrami Ribs before... but these are among the best ribs I've ever had... the Dijon BBQ dipping sauce was a perfect compliment to the tender meat." My mom and I both got the fish N chips. Food was great! Unfortunately the waitress was not. Multiple tables were dirty when we walked in. Our waitress told us to sit anywhere and get it cleaned. This never happened. I cleaned our table. From my 10 years working in the restaurant business. This is poorly managed. They have a great potential with some changes this could be a great business. Bishop the Quigley is a nearly hidden gem on a very short section of S. Cincinnati Avenue next door to Maple Ridge Grocer. This Irish Pub has a secret. Although its menu is short, you are also able to order from the Maple Ridge Grocer menu since both restaurants share the same kitchen. But don't let the fact that Bishop Quigley has a small menu deter you from going. There are some awesome choices on the menu. At the top of my list is their Haddock Fish Fry. It's a generous piece of lightly breaded fried haddock served with the most awesome chips that I've had in Tulsa along with half a broiled lemon and great tasting tartar sauce. I'd have to say it's the best Fish fry that I've had in Tulsa. And don't hesitate to order the Hot Roast Beef & Swiss sandwich with grilled red onion and horseradish mayo off of the Maple Ridge Grocer menu. It was piled high with tender roast beef and the horseradish mayo was on the mild side so no worries about it being too spicy. It was served with a generous portion of excellent chips. Ambience and drinks are great. Food is overpriced and not good. If you're forced to go, just get a beer and French fries or the toasty. Our table had the toasty, curry, and fish and chips. My friend said the toasty was fine. My other friend thought the batter on the fish was chewy and the fish had no flavor. I think my curry was the worst curry I've ever had in Tulsa, not even going to eat the leftovers. Did I mention a cup of soup is $9? Ridiculous. Panera has better soup. read more

A tiny little Irish inspired bar, this stop is one of the better choices in the local McNellies group portfolio. Although the menu is limited, it shares a kitchen with the adjacent restaurant and will serve anything from their menu on request. A few of their menu items are definitely a little different and intriguing, such as their Sunday pastrami ribs, but in my opinion the star of their menu is their fish and chips. A generous portion of haddock paired with meaty chunks of potato make this a filling dish for any appetite, fried to perfection without being greasy at all. Their soup of the day is an interesting gimmick. I've learned to always ask what it is, because not all are created equal. Service wise, there's a sign on the door to order at the bar (I guess they see this space as more bar than eatery), but on busy nights they do have servers. Although the place is very pub inspired it is kid friendly. Just be ready to be a little crammed in. There's not a ton of space at the tables and the chairs are really packed in. Something everyone should be aware of tho...we used the QR code on our table to pay our tab, and it tacked on an undisclosed service fee. I didn't realize it until I saw my credit card then looked at the emailed receipt. It's only a dollar, but the signage doesn't mention it nor is it mentioned when you're going through the check out. I called to ask about it and it was refunded without argument. Not that $1 is a huge deal but it's the principle of fee transparency. I'll choose to just have my server cash me out the old fashioned and fee-free way from now on. read more

Bishop Quigley A (McNellie's) neighborhood pub in Maple Ridge... First impression: Parking on a Friday afternoon is a royal pain in the a**. I don't think I'd attempt this on a weekend evening. But once you get past that, this is a pretty cool place! It has the look of neighborhood Irish pub although the music selection overhead suggests otherwise. The limited menu has a couple of solid selections. I went with the Ham and Cheese Toasty with tomato and onion ($13.00) and a Smithwick's Red Ale. The sandwich was crispy on the outside. The hot ham and cheese was like a cozy hug. Very tasty. And toasty! Prices were reasonable and decor was nice although the clientele was a bit pretentious for my taste. (If the dudes next to me mentioned the perfect pour of Guinness one more time, because six times apparently wasn't enough, I'd be asking the Bishop himself for forgiveness.) I'll be back to try something different next time. Maybe the fish 'n chips. And a perfectly poured pint of Guinness. read more

It's got great pub character, and if you're looking for just a whiskey bar, I'm sure this place fits the bill. Anything beyond that, I wouldn't necessarily recommend. The waitress did not seem to be well informed and had to keep going back to check if certain foods or drinks were available, and the bartender wasn't able to make some of the simple, classic cocktails we were interested in (I get that that's not what the place is meant for). The burger was good, but the cheese plate was a little depressing. The crackers that came with it were Saltines that were still in the sleeve. I'd give it another go, but wouldn't be expecting anything above and beyond. read more

I first tried this little pub a few months ago with one of my friends who lives nearby and had a very pleasant experience. However this time around was completely different. Our bartender seemed to be under the influence of marijuana the entire time which was noticeable by her droopy eyes, slurred speech, and forgetfulness. Once I arrived I told her that I had a coupon for the fish and chips, however once I received my bill she neglected to recognize this and had to rerun my tab. When I finally received my final bill and was about to sign she knocked over my drink I was having causing my entire shirt, shorts and shoes to be covered in beer. She turned around and said 'oh let me fix that' which I assumed meant she was going to comp my meal since my night had been ruined but all she did was proceed to hand me a dirty rag.
