The hostess sat three people in our waitresses section and we were the last to be greeted and served even though we were the first one seated. The waitress was knowledgeable about celiac requirements, but there weren't a lot of options available. I wish that Roosevelt had some of the Neff beer on tap or in cans. Didn't miss a beat, super personable, and very knowledgeable on all the beers, food, and drinks. Every employee we came across or walked by was extremely friendly and personable. The drinks were amazing! Espresso martini, a few beers, and a DELISH concoction our server whipped up for me. Food was to die for. Brussels and pretzels with beer cheese app were demolished in minutes. Burger was cooked to perfection. Sauces were divine. The restaurant itself had so many amazing, unique elements to the design. I was in town and a coworker of mine recommended we go here as they had a great experience the last time they ate at Roosevelt's. I started with the f'rose cocktail, yum! I ordered the beer cheeseburger, which is outside of my norm but I really enjoyed it! The burger was fresh, cooked perfectly, and the candied bacon added a really delicious flavor. The fries were also delicious, and it was a great portion size that I didn't finish. Our waitress, Coral, was lovely! Very attentive and helpful, and seemed very natural at her job. It was decently busy for a Wednesday night around 6:15pm, but we didn't have to wait for a table. Our food came out incredibly fast! Go here for drinks and appetizers only to enjoy the holiday decor. The entrees are terrible. I visited once this week and two years ago; nothing had changed except the hostesses were awful in their attitude. Besides not taking reservations, and not answering their phone (called several times on different days), they won't let you add a preference for indoor or covered patio seating; every restaurant I've ever visited has allowed this preference. My brother and SIL came in from Midland, TX to see the holiday decor, so I wanted them to sit inside as it's much prettier. We were hastily told no, then they sat us on the patio even though I saw multiple empty tables inside while walking to the restroom. Even if wait staff wasn't available right away, it would be nice to sit inside and look at the decor. The good news: Their brussel sprouts and artichoke goat cheese appetizers are good plus they serve sparkling rosè, which is not common around town. Everyone at my table despised their food, and we walked to Smoke across the street afterward for more food, desserts, and drinks. We visited on a Monday at 3pm and had a 30 minute wait. read more

I had the ribeye sandwich which wasn't too bad at all, but the Christmas ornaments and the light show was fantastic. Kudos whoever has to put all of this up every year. In Tulsa....again for work, so checked out Roosevelt's this time. The entrance is behind Cherry St so pay attention to that. They have 2 parking lots where parking is free as long as you're a restaurant patron. You just need your license plate number to enter into their tablet. We were seated immediately in the bar area. There's a ton of beers on tap, so if youre a beer drinker, this is your place. Ordered the pretzel bites as an app. They were ok. More like a roll vs a bite. Needed salt. Beer cheese was pretty good! I ordered the Hyde Park burger and it was dynamite! Super tender, full of flavor, and great balance of sweet and heat with the pineapple and jalapeño. Pros: This is my third time coming here to see the Christmas decorations. I would say the first two times i love the decor and the service; but I did not like the food. However, this time was completely different. My friend and I got a bunch of food to share. We started with the spinach artichoke dip and the pork belly. The spinach artichoke dip was so flavorful. I've never had a dip like this. It was probably our favorite thing we ate. The pork belly was caramelized and incredibly tender. Next, we had the tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich. We had a great lunch experience here! My sister and I shared the ahi tuna nachos, the widow maker and a cup of the tomato bisque. All were very delicious. The goat cheese was an unexpected surprise on the nachos. The wasabi cream sauce is the best compliment on them. Not spicy! My favorite is how the tuna is cooked. Usually this is a pretty raw dish but this was great. Chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly. So much flavor to this sandwich without having to be doused in a sauce. For me, the fries were just okay in flavor but if you like hand cut fries, you will likely love them. Soup was so velvety and delicious! Had lunch here and honestly one of the coolest spots to go in the cherry street area. Such a cool spot with the ambiance. It's always clean and always has great service when I go. The French fries are extremely over-fried to the point of almost being nearly potato chips. The fried breakfast potatoes, however are very good and worth ordering. The veggie gumbo was ok, but too salty. The buffalo chicken sandwich was decent. The pancakes are similar to Bisquick - mushy, too sweet of batter. The crab cakes were extremely salty, but my husband quite enjoyed. Value overall was terrible - $100 for 5, 2 of which were kid meals and we didn't order any drinks. Also just a PSA - if you come with your kids, don't linger by the bathroom hallway. The whole wall is vintage beer cans. Serves as a reminder of a more sexist period of time, when women's bodies were commonly objectified by mainstream marketing campaigns. I went to Roosevelt's recently because I'd heard so much about their Christmas decor and it did not disappoint. I can tell that this restaurant puts a lot of care into their service. Our server was so kind and we had a great conversation. The food was very good, especially the French fries and the bread. I ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich and it was good. We did go in between Christmas and New Year's so they had decorated for the occasion. I do give them 5 out of 5 for their effort. Today I went to Roosevelt for ladies, brunch and jazzy was our wonderful waitress. She was really kind and made sure we had plenty of pomegranate margaritas. Our group ordered the steak torta, and the omelette. All of our food came out exactly as described and was super filling. I've been coming here a while and noticed that the patio has really been upgraded with booths and plants out outside while we did not sit outside, we still enjoyed our nice roomy table. Jazzy let us sit at the table for a while to chat without pushing us out (wasn't packed). if you've never been here, you must try their grilled cheese. That was my first menu item years ago and I still dream about it! I will say though, for the best ambience you must come around the holidays when it is decked out and Christmas decorations. We went just a few days before Christmas, the decor and atmosphere is gorgeous! We went on a Monday right after they opened, and waited about an hour & 10 minutes-- waiting in line for about 45 minutes and on the waitlist for about 25 minutes. Seating does make a difference, as the indoor seating is much prettier and the lighting is better. The servers and hostess were nice-no complaints. The food was decent although nothing to craze over.
