Mimosa flight!

So I hadn't had Roosevelt's in a long time, but I recently had it twice. Service is always phenomenal. And it's a beautiful restaurant. But I hate to say that I really do think entrees aren't nearly as good as they were years ago. This is now a place I'll still go, but only for drinks and appetizers.

Go here for drinks and appetizers only to enjoy the holiday decor. The entrees are terrible. I visited once this week and two years ago; nothing had changed except the hostesses were awful in their attitude. Besides not taking reservations, and not answering their phone (called several times on different days), they won't let you add a preference for indoor or covered patio seating; every restaurant I've ever visited has allowed this preference. My brother and SIL came in from Midland, TX to see the holiday decor, so I wanted them to sit inside as it's much prettier. We were hastily told no, then they sat us on the patio even though I saw multiple empty tables inside while walking to the restroom. Even if wait staff wasn't available right away, it would be nice to sit inside and look at the decor. The good news: Their brussel sprouts and artichoke goat cheese appetizers are good plus they serve sparkling rosè, which is not common around town. Everyone at my table despised their food, and we walked to Smoke across the street afterward for more food, desserts, and drinks. We visited on a Monday at 3pm and had a 30 minute wait.

While visiting T town, my brother and his girlfriend wanted to take me here for dinner. It was a pretty cool experience I must say. I had the ribeye sandwich which wasn't too bad at all, but the Christmas ornaments and the light show was fantastic. Kudos whoever has to put all of this up every year. It must take and absorb an amount of time to get this set up.

I'm a Rosevelt regular. Come through during happy hour after nine and enjoy an awesome burger. I like subbing their crispy Brussels sprouts for fries and order their happy hour pint. If you enjoy cider they usually have a cider for their $3 pint. Bar tenders and management are awesome and welcoming.

First time to Roosevelt's. The atmosphere and decorations are just incredible! Unless you are the grinch himself, it is fun! We happened to be there for one of the light shows and that was cool. My wife and I ordered sandwiches, both were very good. Service was friendly, informative, and fast.

All of those tvs just for beer options. Hope you're thirsty!

In Tulsa....again for work, so checked out Roosevelt's this time. The entrance is behind Cherry St so pay attention to that. They have 2 parking lots where parking is free as long as you're a restaurant patron. You just need your license plate number to enter into their tablet. We were seated immediately in the bar area. There's a ton of beers on tap, so if youre a beer drinker, this is your place. Ordered the pretzel bites as an app. They were ok. More like a roll vs a bite. Needed salt. Beer cheese was pretty good! I ordered the Hyde Park burger and it was dynamite! Super tender, full of flavor, and great balance of sweet and heat with the pineapple and jalapeño. The salt on the fries was pretty inconsistent though. Wish I got our servers name! She was super friendly and attentive.

Beef Stroganoff!

Excellent food, beer, and service! I had the Beef Stroganoff, and it was such a wonderful and comforting dish - perfectly executed! Did I mention that they have 79 beers on tap!! This place is a Mecca for craft beer enthusiasts. I had two flights while I was here - 5 oz samples of eight different beers of my choosing. Big fun! Very comfortable restaurant inside plus they have outside porch dining. Piece of carrot cake to-go, and it was very good with the lightest, yet creamist frosting.

Bar in full swing, fast efficient bartenders

Stopped in for a couple of pints, sat at the end of the bar - been here for meals previous years. Where we sat, we could watch and appreciate the bartenders do their thing during a happy hour/dinner rush. All friendly, all efficient, and clearly good at their jobs. Nice selection of big people drinks, great selection of craft beers on tap. Recommended for meals and/or drinks! (Entrance is at back away from the street, hostess if you want a table, or just walk through to the bar)

My husband and I constantly talk about how we need to go to Roosevelt's more. Candidly, I think it's better outside of the Christmas surge, but it really is a great spot for dinner and lunch on Cherry street. Amazing Buffalo cheese fries!!

The widow maker chicken sandwich

We had a great lunch experience here! My sister and I shared the ahi tuna nachos, the widow maker and a cup of the tomato bisque. All were very delicious. The goat cheese was an unexpected surprise on the nachos. The wasabi cream sauce is the best compliment on them. Not spicy! My favorite is how the tuna is cooked. Usually this is a pretty raw dish but this was great. Chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly. So much flavor to this sandwich without having to be doused in a sauce. For me, the fries were just okay in flavor but if you like hand cut fries, you will likely love them. Soup was so velvety and delicious! Staff were friendly and overall it was a laidback and delicious lunch!

Went here on Labor Day and was sat quickly! Enjoyed our food and the place is also decorated so nicely.

Decorative ceiling that they did a music display every so often.

Everything was wonderful here. I understand why the wait was long during the Christmas time but well worth it. My cousins and I met here for our annual Christmas dinner and they have the place decorated with so much festive ornaments. The food was so good and priced well. I went with the tomato bisque and I very much enjoyed it. Staff were super nice and didn't mind taking pictures for us.

Great food ... ahi tuna nachos were amazing ... cocktails and entrees were delish. Decorations at Christmas make it special for the holidays. It's a must do for December . Sat at the bar and saved 1-/2 hr wait . Service at the bar was awesome !

So many beers on top - which always makes any girl happy. If you want a really good chicken sandwich order the widow maker, it's divine!

I could eat those all day, every day if it wouldn't make me as big as a house. This place stays very busy all day long, but the staff are fast, friendly, and they do a good job of turning tables. Before ordering, I snagged a 41 Peaks IPA from the bar... it was refreshing and seemed to come from a nice clean beer line. The waitress recommended the chicken fried steak because it comes with the white gravy Tulsa is known for as well as the green beans The Bros Houligan are known for. The salad arrived quickly and the rest of the meal not too long after that. First off, the honey mustard dressing on the salad appeared to be homemade and was super tasty! Second, this thing was the small portion?! They hand bread everything there, and you can tell. It breading wasn't too heavy nor too greasy. The gravy was solid. I could tell the green beans were super tasty, but were made with an ingredient that gave off the flavor you might find in a Belgian or wheat beer (isoamyl acetate), which I'm pretty sensitive to and not a fan of. All in all would recommend if you're looking for a place with fast, freshly made foods and don't wanna go to apple bees or the like.

The hamburgers are outstanding -- juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how you order them. You can tell they use quality beef, and the toppings are fresh. Also tried the fish. The beer batter is light, crispy, and golden without being greasy. The fish inside is flaky and tender, and the portion size is more than satisfying. Paired with their house tartar sauce and a side of crispy fries, it's comfort food done right. Our server, Rebel, was the standout of the entire experience. She handled our large group single-handedly, keeping orders organized and service on point the whole time. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.
