Such a good experience sitting on the patio! Food was delicious and quick! Our server seemed extremely busy so that was difficult.

I was in Tulsa for a book signing, and we found Queenie's on YELP and our party was excited to try them. It was a COLD Saturday, and I was alarmed when we pulled up and I saw people sitting outside eating. The inside is small - and I have no problem with that part - but I have a problem when the policy is to make you wait outside for a to-go order. They made elderly people stand in the bitter cold while waiting for their meals. There was room inside for people to stand in the warmth while waiting for their meal. Elderly fragile people should never be treated this way. We ordered baked goods - cookies, pumpkin bread, and empanadas. They were very tasty and several cookies were memorable. But I always base my reviews on this question - would I go back. The answer is NO. Not because of their food, but because of their policy. This one left a bad taste in my mouth.

I absolutely love this restaurant and it's the first time I've eaten here. Today, I got Quiche Lorraine with garden salad. Dan got the BLT and substituted a cup of lentil soup for chips. Both dishes were delicious and had a good presentation. The quiche was a far different texture what I'm used to. It had more substance. I think there was more egg and cheese and less milk. I liked it We chose Queenie's because we were looking for a place with pleasant outdoor seating so we could take our dog Baxter with us. The Covid era is responsible for many restaurants throwing one or two tables onto an unshaded piece of concrete where there's either no view or a view of a dumpster. They could say they had outdoor seating but no one ever sits at those isolated tables in the sun. We wanted pleasant outdoor seating and that's what we found. The ambiance was busy and fun. I imagined we were dining al fresco in Paris. I can't wait to try other things on their menu. I am especially looking forward to taking my daughter to Queenie's Plus. She is on a restricted diet. I don't think she will have any trouble ordering. I like that you can add gluten free bread to any sandwich or burger. That's better than having one or two gluten free dishes. The service was excellent. Kaitlyn did a wonderful job answering all of our many questions. We will be back very soon and often.

In Utica square this small unassuming cafe really packs a punch on flavor and service. It's a popular spot so be prepared to wait for a table. The bakery items are to die for!!! I had a date scone that was hands down the BEST scone I have ever had!!! My hubs had the oatmeal pancakes and raved about them. I had the special Chile Rellenos with potatoes and bacon. The serving size was generous and I needed a " to go" box. Our server Chris was so attentive and friendly. Even though I was full we bought a few cookies for later.

We were in Tulsa looking for a great place to eat and we turned to Yelp who pointed us to Queenie's. We were there at 2 in the afternoon and they were still slammed, like a 45 minute wait kind of slammed. At first we thought we'd wait, but then they told us we can't wait inside and it was a cold day, so I really translated that into a "we don't want your business" so we went back to Yelp to find our next place. But, while we were searching we decided to order some to go bakery items. While we were waiting for them to bag our items, here came the hostess again to tell us we can't wait inside. I told her I had paid for to go items and I was waiting for my food INSIDE. She finally went on about her way, but I am not going to lie, I was an insulted customer. She was probably just doing her job, so I don't blame her necessarily, but there could be a bit more respect for your customers than this place offers. I even watched them tell a 90 something year old woman on oxygen in a wheel chair that she could not wait inside. HEARTLESS! Once we got our bakery items we were on our way. Once we ate the bakery items I have to admit they were delicious. The Pumpkin Bread, amazing. The Chocolate Ginger Cookie...Devine! The pumpkin empanadas, wowza! But all your great baking does not counter the heartlessness I witnessed to the elderly woman.

I will definitely need to update my review when I stop by for an actual meal, but I popped in for a to-go dessert just to check Queenie's out! I've heard great things. I got a banana caramel cake slice to go, and it was rich and coyingly sweet. It was too dry for me though. And not worth $7. The lady that helped me out was quick and polite. But it's a super cute spot for breakfast and lunch, and I definitely still want to try a full meal!

We were in town for the holiday and wanted to do some Black Friday shopping. Looked on Yelp and saw good things. We were seated right away for outside, (yes it was chilly but the sun was out and they give you blankets to use!) great staff (had around three people attending our table due to the heavy business so it was nice that we weren't waiting for anything!! The breakfast grilled cheese was perfectly toasted, cheese variations were so complementary, the freshness of the veg, and the J sauce was so good! Ate the whole thing! The tomatoes tart wasn't all that (the waitress even said it didn't looked right) but the puff pastry was delicious and flaky! The sausage was very well seasoned without that overwhelming fennel taste you usually get. (Love the crispness!) The bacon was perfectly cooked, and the potatoes had a good seasoning (could have been cooked a little longer) The lattes were delicious, and the place is cute, friendly, and still has that small town charm. Will definitely visit again when in town.

Dog friendly with outdoor seating on a warm but pleasant October Monday. Lively, crowded patio. I ordered the BLT on wheat with a side of Mexican lentil soup. Spouse got quiche Lorraine. BLT was excellent with a generous portion of bacon. The lettuce, tomato and mayo were properly proportioned to make a really good sandwich. The Mexican lentil soup was nicely spicy and loaded with lentils. Did not taste spouse's dish but it looked good and she pronounced it delicious. Our dog Baxter conducted himself in a gentlemanly manner throughout.

We love Queenie's every time we stop in! Breakfast and weekend brunch are my favorite, but lunch is great too! This time we tried their "almond joy" dessert bar, but it was so good I forgot to snap a photo! A Tulsa staple! Just make sure to budget enough time to wait- they don't take reservations and they are very popular!

An interesting place to grab lunch. We were lucky enough to be blessed with outstanding weather so that we could dine outside! We were able to be seated right away and quickly place our drink orders. Since this was my time here I took a few minutes to review the menu. They were several interesting choices but ultimately I chose the Pastrami Reuben! It was still a good sandwich but obviously the well done rye toast took away from being a great sandwich. I would still recommend if that is a sandwich you like. My dining partners chose the Queenie Burger & the Turkey, Bacon & Avocado Sandwich. Both liked the choices they made. We selected cookies for dessert and they were very good! I had the Oatmeal Raisin and it ended the meal perfectly! If you're in the area I would recommend giving this place a try.

I'm not sure how I heard about Queenies, whether the newspaper, local TV or word of mouth, but I'm sad it took me so long to stop by. My first was Monday, January 20th 2025 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) around 12:30pm. I dined with a friend and there were many qualities to be impressed with. The outside presents like an upscaled diner. Though are patio seats and tables but the weather wasn't welcoming enough for anyone to sit outside. The entrance places you in between two bars, one a workstation and the other for dining. Half of the diner faces the street which gives plenty of natural light, providing a bright and welcoming sensation to the interior. The inside, from tables to decorations, takes a simplistic approach - nothing that yanks your attention and also nothing to be overstimulated by. For the space to be so tight, there's a good mix of seating styles: booths, tables, and high-top/bars. It was a busy lunch-hour. The host podium was outside and unattended. We entered to 5 or 6 people ahead of us waiting for the register, either to be seated or to pick up orders. There's a sign alongside the workstation that reads "Please wait outside" but no one was following this direction (typical of that part of town). The line didn't seem to move as more people came in than left. A worker announced to the group "If you placed an order or are waiting for a table, if you wouldn't mind waiting outside." My friend and I moved and waited outside, but no one else did (once again, typical of that part of town). Less than 15mins after that, we were called inside by an older black lady. The server brought waters and menus, which offers a mix of brunch, pastries, soups and sandwiches. It also doubles as a coffee shop so there's a good mix of offerings for every occasion. After a quick browse, the server returned and attempted to make an order on our behalf, suggesting the Santa Fe Grilled Cheese and Grilled Ham & Swiss. Instead, I ordered the Pastrami Reuben with a lemonade and swap side for soup of the day (chicken noodle soup). No longer than 15mins later, the food arrived steaming! The Reuben was beyond delightful: crispy rye bread, tender pastrami and the cheese was pressed and perfectly stretchy. It almost dissolves while chewing. The soup had a few carrots and peas, it was chunky (more chicken than noodle or soup) while the broth was blander than I'd expect but still good. Oh! The lemonade, made in-house, made a great addition! Lastly, after the meal, Mr. ETHAN HAWKE casually walked in with his family for a carry-out meal so, yeah, I was happy I came! Despite being in one of the most boujee neighborhoods in Tulsa, the value was excellent. Given the location, value and visual appeal, I can see why there's a consistent demand for this restaurant. I'd be happy to visit again at a less-demanding hour to have their coffee, try their pastries or explore the rest of their menu.

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The staff were super nice and treated them just like any other customer. Great food! Great service! Great value! Do yourself a favor and try this place!

The chips and red onion dip were a nice little touch. Something I've never had before and we enjoyed it
