This was my first time here. My wife had been here and thought it was good. First off, the service and ambiance are off the chart. The outdoor dining area is serene was quaint. The service was phenomenal. Now, the negatives. My wife ordered the Brioche French toast and said it was great. She had ordered it before. I ordered the steak (medium-rare) and eggs. The steak consisted of hangar steak (which I love), eggs, and breakfast potatoes. When I got my meal, the steak was well done (which is a crime to do to hangar steak), the egg whites were runny, and the potatoes were dead cold. I'm not one to usually send anything back, but for the price and not one thing is cooked correctly, I felt I had no choice. I contacted our server and explained the discrepancies in the meal. She immediately told me that she would have it re-done and comped on the check. That was an unexpected surprise. When she returned with the meal, the steak was closer to rare (which with hangar steak is fine), the eggs were perfect, but the potatoes were still stone cold. The Chimichurri was awesome and I would love the recipe. I'm not sure this place will be on our return radar, but Caveat Emptor in your visit. read more

We visited Wildfork around 11am on Saturday, April 18th. It was a beautiful day outside so the patio and the inside were packed, we were lucky to get right in. If you are familiar with Tulsa, this place is located in Utica Square. It's a nice place, no dress code but feels a little elevated. We were given the weekend brunch menu and from it we ordered. Mini Cinnamon Rolls- So good. They came out hot and fresh. They were gooey and packed with flavor. I will say they were a little hard so I am giving the a 8.5/10. But flavor was great! Wild Fork Hash with biscuits and gravy- This is a huge bowl, we shared it. This is a 7.5/10. It's not a hash. There were huge chunks of potato and a ton of cheese. This came off more as a loaded baked potato dish. It came with a choice of few different kinds of toast or biscuits and gravy. We chose the biscuits and gravy. We gave it 7/10. We had a few bites but it wasn't really great, needed a fluffier biscuit and more flavor to the gravy. Wild Hot Coffee- 8/10 Espresso Martini- 0/10. Let me explain. I love espresso martinis and I know that they can vary based on how the bartender makes them but this one was not good. At first I thought that it had whiskey in it, but my husband tasted it and said that it wasn't whiskey but he thought that it was bad coffee. It definitely wasn't made with real espresso. That surprised me because Wild Fork is an upscale restaurant. I asked the waitress what was in it and she wasn't sure but asked if I would like something else. Very nice. So I ordered the cranberry mimosa. Cranberry Mimosa- 10/10 delicisous! If you get the large, be warned it is a lot. I have to say that this spot is hit or miss. I've had really great meals and experiences here but a few really "meh" meals too. I don't love their brunch options, very basic and overpriced imo. The lunch and dinner menus are more my speed. I really enjoyed the southwest quinoa bowl on their lunch menu. I loved the shrimp pasta, but subbed blackened chicken for shrimp (allergy) for dinner. The server was very friendly and cautious of my allergy restrictions! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very classy, but it doesn't necessary feel that way from the food. Service was painfully slow from the start--it took nearly 20 minutes for our waitress to even approach the table, and another 20 minutes after that for drinks to arrive. She didn't know the difference between cabernet and white wine, got our drink order wrong, and when our friends ordered a second glass of wine, it didn't come until after the meal was finished. The food was just as disappointing. I ordered the Steak Diane, which was so tough I could barely eat it. Only ate three bites of steak. Didn't even eat the asparagus because it looked so bad. I should have taken a picture. To make matters worse, no steak knives were provided--we had to ask twice before finally receiving them 15 minutes later, by which point the steak was cold. The billing process was the final straw. We asked for separate checks, but they were so mixed up we ended up just paying instead of wasting more time with our incompetent server. Overall, this was the worst dining experience I've had in Tulsa. The food is overpriced for the poor quality, and the service was shockingly bad. I will not be returning. read more

For our mains, my husband and I both ordered their S.O.S, which was phenomenal. The green chili gravy was so unique and flavorful, and the caramelized onions underneath were sweet and a wonderful balance to the beef. My mom had their corn tortilla stack which she said was some of the best Chilaquiles she had had in a long time!! When I ordered coffee, I asked if I could order a side of the "sweet cream foam" that they put on some of their brunch cocktails. Our waiter brought it over within a few minutes! Went here with my siblings this past weekend and we were seated in the sunroom, to the right of the front door. The menu does not have allergens listed. I have Celiac disease and asked if anything could be made gluten free. The waiter asked what I was thinking and I said the cobbsalad ($16.95.) The waiter said he wasn't sure because of the blue cheese and bacon. "Gluten free" doesn't mean "vegetarian." I can't have gluten - a protein found in wheat, barley and rye. The waiter said he'd check with the kitchen then told me it would be fine. I'm only reviewing the cheese burger. What a great burger to a classic! I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The patties were juicy and cooked how I wanted. The cheeses were melted just right. I think there was some wild sauce on it? I wasn't sure. Fresh toppings like red onion, tomato and lettuce on top. The buns were just good and not dry and boring. I also recommend adding the side jalapeño slaw on the burger, which makes it extra delicious. Price was decent and the service was average. Kudos wild fork! read more

We sat outside (there is a fan above each table). It is a much cuter and cooler environment inside. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive throughout our meal. The food was decent, I liked the bacon and tried the hollandaise sauce. I liked the hollandaise sauce so would get the eggs Benedict next time. This is a review for their Saturday brunch menu. From an ADA perspective: The interior of Wild Fork is very light and airy. The tables are placed quite close to each other - if any of your guests has a mobility issue, I am unsure if they would be able to dine it unless placed at one of the tables closest to the door. I didn't see many ADA compliant measures so I would definitely recommend calling ahead if there are accessibility concerns/needs in your party. (My day job is in ADA compliance and accessibility so these are things I always look for) The food was decent. My boyfriend asked for his steak to be cooked medium rare and it was delivered closer to well done. He said it was very tough and chewy, will likely not order again. He did have high praise for the chimichurri sauce they put on the side. The chicken salad sandwich was quite good, as were the fries. Service was quick and our server was friendly. Overall, it was a nice experience but a little overpriced for the food available, but it is a Utica Square restaurant so that's to be somewhat expected. read more

Excellent brunch! Tip: Get a carafe of mimosas with Cointreau added (it's on the menu) and you will love it. Two of us ordered two carafes total and it was perfect. The pineapple actually tasted better than the OJ with the Cointreau. The French toast is a great appetizer if you want to take your time to sip on drinks before ordering meals. It's made fresh in house, and you can tell! We wanted to order the mini cinnamon rolls, but they ran out by 1pm (brunch goes until 4pm). The breakfast potatoes are made like your grandma always made them! Fresh potatoes in a skillet. Love the homemade style and not from a frozen bag. This was my favorite part! The chicken salad was good, but I'm not sure I would order it again. It tasted like a roasted red pepper version versus traditional, and I like traditional. We decided to try The Wild Fork for date night, and we had high expectations. For a busy Saturday evening it was not a bad experience. This boutique cafe in Utica Square is adorable. We were seated in less than 5 minutes. Their lovely patio was well equipped with fans and heat lamps. In Oklahoma, during the spring season, you need the fans on in the day and the heat fans on as the sun goes down. We started off with the fried green tomatoes, which were delicious. The tomatoes themselves were extremely sweet, which wasn't bad, however for my preference I like a more savory/tart tomato. However, my boyfriend liked the sweetness of them. The cornmeal breading came off super easy, so it didn't stick very well to the tomatoes themselves, but that's no biggie! The tomato aioli that came with it was so good! It balanced out the sweetness of the tomatoes. For dinner, we enjoyed the salmon and flank steak. His steak was cooked exactly right- and the salsa that came with it was the perfect addition! The maple & mustard glaze on the salmon was delicious! We also got a side of garlic mashed potatoes, which came out slightly cold, but we ate them anyways because the taste made up for that. Our server was nice, however we kept having to ask her for more water and she didn't check up on us except once after dropping the food off. Overall I give it a 4, if I could do 4 and a 1/2 I would, because the food was excellent but the small details like service and the potatoes being cold play a part in the rating. read more
