Then came the Caesar and o my God dare I say the best one in Tulsa? The crispy lettuce with that spice oil made it a 10/10. The food was absolutely delicious, and the espresso martini is one of the best I've ever had. The servers are kind, quick, and helpful. We ordered 2 pizzas, and a salad with sardines and I couldn't believe how flavorful the Caesar salad was. That combined with the sardines was the perfect bite. Lofi, More like Low Vibrational. I came in to have some drinks with a couple of friends and this experience was just off-putting. Walking into the restaurant you're greeted with a DJ- Just front and center to which I thought meant it was free reign for seating since no one came to help us. As we picked a seat in the back of the restaurant near a window, the server said he was supposed to seat us. We apologized and the server let us sit where we wanted to originally. After that whole situation, another worker who I suppose is the buss boy, came and just slid us menus. We tried thanking the guy but he just completely blew us off-rude. We got our drinks and contemplated leaving early multiple times- this place was just giving bad vibes. The server also seemed to be very pushy about us getting food and seemed annoyed we didn't get any food but drinks. I don't know if the guy was new or not but overall the hospitality was very off , almost like he had an issue with us?? We had the drinks and they all tasted like the same variation of lemonade mix. We went on a Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. to try this counterpart to Ava June. I have to apologize in advance for the lack of photos to go with this review. Much like Ava June, everything is a little funky here--not in a bad way, just different and unique. We started with cocktails; she had her usual Old Fashioned, but ordered it as a "normal", with Makers Mark, I had a glass of chardonnay (subtotal $28). She put her Makers Mark Old Fashioned near the top of the best in town ($2 extra for Makers??). We frequently split meals, so decided to share a Little Gems salad, which was VERY good. There are only a few salads in town that I like as it's just not my thing, but this one was super tasty. For our pizza we went with the limited edition Cubano as I love a good Cuban sandwich and have a tomato allergy. They did a good job of converting a sandwich to a pizza, though I thought the toppings were a little sparse for $22. I would have preferred that the pickles have been chopped into something smaller than the thick slices it came with (so it LOOKED beautiful). The best part for me is that they offer a fresh-made GLUTEN-FREE rosemary dough!!!! It was absolutely THE BEST gluten-free crust I've ever experienced hands down. My wife said that she would order it even though it's g-f. The vibe was just good, pretty crowded with a mix of generations. The space is fairly small and tight, so be prepared for the possibility of sharing a table. So if you followed the math above (which should be easy if you knew me!) it was $65 plus tax and tip, so $100 for a pizza and salad dinner.... Would I go back?? I wouldn't rule it out given the fantastic gluten-free crust, but would likely consider somewhere else that I consider a better value before beating a path back to Lofi. read more

Another great experience here. We have always sat at the bar but when we showed up on a busy Saturday night (during prom season, ugh), we felt lucky to get a great table for two at the front facing the window. (We had already walked out of another popular pizza place because they seemed like they didn't know what to do with the tux crowd.) Table service was fantastic. Besides our most attentive waitress, the manager and two other employees kept water filled and stopped by just to check-in and chat. We were starving so we started with the pickle pot which is the perfect size. We then split their little gems salad which is art on a plate. Had a wicked craving for pizza when I was visiting Tulsa over the weekend and was so happy to come across this place. Records were spinning, the vibes were relaxed, the employees were friendly, and most importantly, my pizza craving was completely satisfied. The menu is somehow both diverse yet concise. I loved how most of the pizza topping combos were so unusual but looked so harmonious. There were so many options I wanted to try! Unfortunately you can't order half-and-half flavors due to the different cooking times required, but that makes sense. Pizzas are a nice shareable size with about 8 slices per pie. My bf and I settled on ordering the Alsatian pizza and loved it- the garlic bechamel base was flavored well and not too saucy, and the toppings were so delicious (sliced potatoes, red onions, rosemary, mozzarella, and a side cheek of lemon). Next time I'll definitely want to try the Wino (brie, stilton, cherries, pecans, etc). I also had a random craving for an espresso martini and had plans to try a different bar with my bf to find one, but to my delight they had an espresso martini on their craft drinks menu. A nice little pizzeria that reminded me of spots you'd find in Brooklyn. I think this place would be a great spot for a date. I had the mushroom pizza, which was fantastic and rich with umami. This is more of a customer service review than a standard restaurant review as the food (pizzas) we ordered was quite good. And the service we received during our meal was fine. When we left we had about half our pizza's put in a takeout box and I set it on the table next ourselves as it wouldn't fit on our table with our remaining tray, drinks and settling the check. Inadvertently as we were leaving my wife and I thought each of us had picked up the box but neither of had. When we got home less than a hour later we realized we had forgotten it and we called back to the restaurant but were told the kitchen help in back had just tossed it. I'm not sure of what the policy is usually used in this case because it's the first time we've done that but the restaurant was not busy at all. It was a mid Saturday afternoon and just 2 other tables were occupied other than ours. Now open on Cherry Street, LoFi makes the most incredible wood-fired sourdough pizza. We tried the Little Gems (their take on a Caesar salad and probably one of the best one I've ever had), the Roasted Carrots (a rec from our spot-on server), and the Wood Roasted Mushroom pizza, and all of the flavors were insanely delicious. Of course we had to try a couple of their craft cocktails, and the Tobacco Old Fashioned and Pinky Swear (kind of a fancy Paloma situation) were top tier. The space is so perfectly designed and curated, and you can catch DJs spinning vinyl almost every night. But I gotta say, the best part of the entire experience was the LoFi team, who were so fun, so committed, and gave the best recommendations. The first time I went here I ordered the wino pizza and it was so good. I just had surgery and a friend picked up a wino and a sausage pizza to go. It was supposed to be a drizzle of balsamic but as you can see from my picture the whole thing was covered in balsamic. It was literally wet. None of us could eat any of it it was so gross. I definitely won't be ordering this pizza again for fear that they will soak it in balsamic again instead of the nice drizzle they put on it the first time. Went here this week. The food was delicious! We got 2 pizzas. The pepperoni and the mcminville hot pie. Also got a glass of red wine The hot pie was way hotter than expected. But still good. My only complaints would be the atmosphere- it is so loud in there that you can't even have a conversation with the person sitting across from you. The music is so loud. So if you're going on a date don't go there. The service was great, but the other complaint is the menu is so hard to read and understand what it says. Me and the wife went to Lofi for our 10th anniversary. This place is really good! It's a cozy little place that I'm imagine can get quite busy and full. I would recommend making a reservation. They have several 2 tops and then some bigger seating arrangements that you may have to share, think like Shuffles bar side tables. Our server was kind and very helpful, which I'll come back to in a moment. I always like to review the drinks of a place so I'll start there. I got a coke, which was okay. The first glass was a little bit flat but my refill was pretty good. I like a good burn with pizza. Something really special about Lofi that will for sure get us back there is their mocktails. We don't drink alcohol and it's always hard to find some nice fun drinks. She got the Lazy River and it didn't disappoint! For an appetizer we got the Stracciatella, it was seasoned pita bread next to a mix of fancy mozzarella and other ingredients. I can't really describe it, but the cherry and pinch of salt nailed it. For pizza we got the The Wino and McMinnville Hot Pie. The Wino was tasty and clean. It's a pizza you could easily eat and not feel like you ate garbage-can pizza. It would be a little dry, but their crust is tasty. I'd say ask for a side of sauce for when you have a piece of crust left, don't waste that! This is where I come back to our server. I asked for her opinion on the Hot Pie's eat prior to ordering. I don't want my mouth to just burn for funsies. She described it as having a bit of heat but not enough to burn, and she was spot on. This is a well crafted pizza and I will enjoy it more tomorrow. It's a little more dirty being that it has pepperoni and all that, but get a side of ranch and enjoy it!
