Vintage Wine Bar is SO cute! The inside is so dreamy, with soft lighting and peachy-pinks. It's very comfortable, like you're at home, but also upscale. Service is great, they're constantly refilling your waters and checking in. We got the tempura fried mushrooms and this was okay. It was much more fried than I had imagined - like this isn't "lightly" fried by any means. I liked the duality of the vinegar-y mushrooms and the sweet black garlic aioli. What I will say about the drinks is I have experienced time and time again bars/restaurants will recommend the "sweetest" wine when you ask for a sweet wine, even if it's not sweet. I think there is no issue in saying "We don't really have a sweet wine, but if you like fruity notes we have XYZ". I asked about their sweet wine selection, and our server recommended an Orange one they had and said it was easy to drink and sweet. It was fruity but extremely dry. It was closer to a pinot than a muscat. If I had known this, I would have ordered a grapefruit vanilla mocktail I was eyeing. I didn't really enjoy the wine, which isn't ideal for a wine bar. My boyfriend got the honey bear cocktail, which uses infused honey nut cheerio cereal and is bourbon-based. I thought it was good for a bourbon drink, but he wasn't a fan. Overall, the vibes here, especially late at night, are AWESOME. This may be a great place for wine, but brunch is rough with horrible service. Reservations made for 11am and was able to go in earlier but was told we had to wait until 11am (when they open) before we could see a menu. Received the drink menu and regular menu, then gave us the brunch when we probably looked obviously confused. We were also told we needed to order at the bar, which seemed ridiculous for an upscale wine bar. My Bloody Mary did not seem to have vodka in it, tasted like straight Bloody Mary mix by taste and thickness. I had the Austin breakfast tacos, which were great but just two tacos for $15, no sides. I know this place is great for wine but brunch was rough. We walked in and it smelled like paint. We were seating quickly enough but the rest of the process was painfully slow. We had a groups of 10 women and the place mostly to ourselves. Seating was uncomfortable. The man behind the bar seemed annoyed we were there. The waiter was trying. Took a long time to order drinks and get drinks and order food. Food came out sporadically. No one felt like ordering a second round. There was another foul smell in addition to the paint smell that I couldn't place. My friend didn't like the drink she ordered (I told her she wouldn't and the waiter talked her into it anyway) so he offered to add some milk to it but the bartender refused so the waiter fixed it himself. It was overpriced and food was mediocre. Not sure I would come back at all but definitely not for brunch. This place needs to stay in their lane or make some serious changes. read more

One of the most perfect places for pre-dinner drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed, open for people to wear both joggers and nice dresses! The staff is always great, attentive and friendly, and they serve great wine, cocktails and desserts. To launch my new drink series, I ordered an espresso martini last night... and then ordered another. It was so good, subtly creamy, and the perfect balance of flavors. It was coffee forward rather than booze centered, which is something I prefer! They use oat milk and coffee concentrate, which I think gives it a unique edge. Mixed feelings about this place. We had the most adorable and kind server ever! She was the best thing about this place. She had an adorable personality and was super kind and brought us a complementary glass of sparkling wine, because it was our anniversary. That was a nice touch . Although the server and atmosphere were nice, the building has a major echo and the acoustics are bad. There were some people at the bar that were loud and even though they were on the far end of the restaurant we could hear every word. Because of that, we decided to just get a wine flight and not eat. The wine flight had several that smelled off/bad and tasted moldy. We didn't finish it. We were ready to leave and go somewhere else. I can't say that we will ever go back. We have friends that love this place, so maybe we just hit it on an off night. read more

This is a secret gem in downtown Tulsa. It is as comfy and appealing and homey but elegant and chic as you could imagine. Lighting, ambience, the furniture and the service was all lovely. But I came here for the wine and the wine selection was nice!. The cheese plate which I ordered was very filling and quite sufficient for my meal. I don't eat big dinners. And they do have a happy hour which allows you to enjoy a half glass pour for only six dollars. I had a Prosecco for the happy hour by the net though and then I ordered a glass of Vino Verde for my regular class. It was all lovely and I hope my pictures convey it. Came for NYE after midnight. There were 2 bartenders, Wes and Peter. Incredibly nice. I had been drinking vodka and don't mix alcohols so he made me a lemon drop. It was perfect and it was getting close to closing and they were still so nice. The bar was super quiet probably from being late but the vibe is chic and a bit bougie but not so uptight that I felt uncomfortable. I live a new concept bar! Especially one that caters to an abundance of fine wines and specialty made cocktails! The staff was super friendly and Scotty (the bartender) literally made me a specialty based off of my flavor profiles. The ambience is laid back but also sexy. Charming restaurant in the Blue Dome district of Tulsa with an annoying habit of up-charging the bill.. We went on two consecutive nights, and both times the bill was considerably higher than it should have been. On the first night J ordered a hamburger at the Happy Hour price. The bill came, and it was at the regular price of $5.00 more. When we queried the waitress she said we missed the Happy Hour cut off, even when we specifically mentioned Happy Hour when we ordered. We tried them again the following night, and again the bill was $6.00 higher than it should have been. We queried the waiter and he said there is no Happy Hour pricing on weekends. Fair enough but I asked for the Happy Hour wine. The pattern is quite suspicious, and the staff clearly assumes you're not paying attention. Never again, and I advise the same for other potential customers. How to improve, you ask? Stop these deceptive practices. read more

I've run a wine bar. Worst service I've ever encountered. Place was empty. There were three staff members present on a random week night except for 2-3 friends of staff. I sat and watched them chat -- in fact, one of them came out of the back and walked right past me to chat with the little clique -- and no one offered me a glass of wine. I accidentally stumbled upon this gem of a hideout while in from out of town. I was looking for a great wine bar with knowledgeable staff in the downtown area for quite some time. Just happened to walk past it and it reminded me of one my favorite wine bars here at home. So I had to go in. From the instant I walked in I was warmly greeted by a friendly staff. Matt the owner was extremely accommodating and was able to meet all of my crazy wine needs. From an amazing Torrontes, on to a great Chenin Blanc, and of course a tasty Malbec. Super fun and swanky spot in the heart of downtown Tulsa! They have lots of awesome small plates that are super delish. Sounds odd, but definitely get the French fries. They are drool worthy! What a disappointing experience our group of 12 had at Vintage Wine Bar. We have been going to Vintage since they opened and this will be our last visit. We waited 40 minutes for our drinks to come out with our group of 12. There were only about 8 other people in the bar. Our waiter spilled drinks on 2 people in our party as he was trying to put them on the table and even said, "I don't know why I am so shaky tonight." The night ended with management refusing to honor a Rose Gold VIP Vintage card that was purchased during COVID as a fundraiser (for a pretty penny) to help Vintage keep their doors open. This card was supposed to be good for 10% off for life. They simply said, the new management does honor this card. I hope saving 10% off that $15 glass of wine was worth the 12 customers that you just lost. read more

My wife and I recently discovered "Vintage Wine Bar" downtown and wanted to check it out. From the moment we walked thought the door my wife was fascinated by the retro decor sending you straight back to the 70s! The place is very neat, with cozy little spots to catch up with friends or have a few drinks with your significant other in a romantic atmosphere. The service is on point and the drinks are pretty good! This place has an extensive list of wines and is definitely a great place for wine lovers! The cocktail list is pretty short but the staff can always come up with your drink of choice. Valkyrie remains my favorite Tulsa bar for cocktails but Vintage Wine bar is a nice spot to go to as well, especially for the great decor and ambiance. We will definitely come back! read more

Amazing service. Sexy ambiance. Perfect place for a date or low-key night out with friends. They have more types of bitters here than I even knew existed. The bartenders here are truly experts and can make pretty much and classic cocktail very well but I recommend trying one of the cocktails on the menu because they are uniquely crafted and it's really fun to watch them make them. I opted for the Malbec flight which is the current special so I got to try 3 delicious Malbecs for a very reasonable price. The drinks are a little on the pricier side but it's totally worth every penny. If you get the munchies they have little tapas plates that looked very fancy and delicious. I'm always a fan of a place where people know what they're doing and I feel classier having stepped in the place. The low lighting and decor remind of a study in an older house and they bring you the check inside of a book. It's really the little things I notice about a good bar.
