They've definitely redid this place since I last visited years back. It looks really good inside and has a welcoming environment and vibe. The portion sizes are large and the prices are fair. I'll definitely be returning to try some of the other menu items. read more

Grungy bar that smells like a mix of weed and cigarette smoke. I'm a sucker for diver bars so I don't mind the atmosphere. It's a fun place to bar hop and there's a restaurant presumably with the same owners (it's also called Caz's, "Caz's Chowhouse")? It's a fun time :) read more

My 2 friends and I were were outright ignored for 20 minutes at the bar (which was not busy, so there was no excuse) while the bartender gossiped and cackled with a group of friends. She eventually saw the 3 of us staring at her, waiting to be served, and raised her eyebrows only to say "YEAH???" in a tone reminiscent of how an angry 13 year old talks to her dad. She then took an additional 20 minutes to close our tabs while again talking to friends. It was also a small alternative crowd that was cliquey and unfriendly. If you don't want to spend an hour being pissed off, please save yourself the trouble and find a different place to spend your valuable free time. read more

Definitely one of my favorite hole in the wall bars. If you are sensitive to smoke I would avoid this bar all together. Pretty much every person in the bar is smoking. Good drink selection. Fair prices. Great place to people watch. 2 pool tables in the back, a jukebox. I'm from the New Orleans area. I know dive bars! And have to say, as far as dive bars go it doesn't get much better than Caz's. So you ask, why in the wide world of bars is Caz's such an exceptional dive? Let me start with space itself...lots of graffiti art - and some just plan old graffiti - covers the walls. There are sculptures of nude female torsos aplenty. There are some deer antlers over the bar decked with ladies' undergarments. There's a vending machine that sells both Marlboro Reds and Nestle Crunch Bars. And of course there are the pool tables. But this is a bar, so how is the beer selection and prices you ask? Rather impressive I reply. An excellent selection of beers in bottles and a few interesting ones on tap. Reasonable prices...a bottle is about $4 - and there are some pretty awesome specials if catch it on the right night. But Kelly, you state, these are all good things but do they really make this a 5-star establishment? To that I say one word...bartenders!!! As friendly and colorful as they come - yes they put our NOLA area bartenders to shame. Hell, one of them knew my name after my second visit! How often does that happen? But now for the crowning touch - the patrons! All sorts are in here. All are quite friendly! Come as you are - you feel right at home. Here is a hole in the wall that you will be happy to discover. Beer and Bras! Caz's has an excellent bottle beer selection and a good juke box (nice and eclectic, like the folks that hang out here). Very enlightening wall graffiti and the semi-dark, urban atmosphere are right up my alley. If you hate the web site "Suicide Girls" you may not like it here but it isn't a goth hang out (hell, there are even some country songs on the juke box). The place is not big, but they did manage to fit two pool tables in the back. On Wednesday, ladies can donate their bra for free or cheaper beer. - Nothing like killing two birds with one stone... Put a fiver in the juke box and sip down a few Orvals and you'll start to understand the writing on the wall... read more

What an aweful experience. I have to say. The bar staff were just plan full of themselves. Never in life have I been left with such a bad taste in my mouth after going out to have drinks with an old friend. In my 14 years in the bar and restaurant industry in NYC I've never, EVER, myself or my staff acted so poorly. It's a wonder they were able to make a drink up there on those high horses... Great bar. Too bad the service is so lousy. Bikers, counter culture kids, office workers, and old men enjoy one of the most eclectic juke box line-ups you'll ever find. It's too bad that the bartenders are all too cool to lower themselves into actually serving people. They've had Web cams and free Wi-fi before it was widely available. If you get bored go to their Web site and watch people long for a beer as the bar staff stands idly by. It's sad really. read more

This place is a DIVE! And I love it. My husband and I always make our way here when we come to The Brady District. Their prices and specials are phenomenal, and we always receive great service and strong drinks. They are very close to Cain's Ballroom, The Woody Guthrie Center, BOK & COX centers. On this last visit, I was in Tulsa for a political rally, and the amazing bartender that was working (wish I could remember her name!) was wonderful. She really made the experience so worth while. We will continue to go to Caz's for drinks (and Caz's Chowhouse across the street for food!) every time we're in town. read more

i am partial to this bar because it was one of the first one's in that area, if not the first!! Its pretty good size on the inside and all the walls are uniquely decorated with pen and marker writing and drawings. There are two pool tables in the back and plenty of seating, as well as about 7-8 seats at the bar. They have a really good beer selection and also have a pretty good draught selection. Def not a "wine bar" type of place, more beer and mixed drinks but all really good!! They usually have jello shots for sale if thats your thing or you feel like being silly and buying a round for your friends!! This is a smoking bar so be prepared for that. They also have an internet jukebox that is usually being played at all times which makes for interesting and random dancing and singing!! This place, to me, is really fun! Awesome dive bar! The bartender was friendly and attentive and their selection of beer is by far the largest I've seen at a dive bar. I liked that they had on the Thunder game along with football and Walking Dead so there was most likely something for everyone to watch if you so chose. There was a good crowd for on a Sunday night because there was a show at Cain's, which is what brought me to find this great place, but it seems like it would be hopping on a normal going out night. This is a really fun "dive" bar. Plenty of space. Line for a drink is never that long (no line or a 30 second wait). Pay for Play Electronic "juke box" (you know the kind, mounted to the wall, glowing, and hooked up to an internet connection so you can download unique songs). If you put 5 dollars in you'll hear your music for an hour. Two pool tables in the back for friendly matches. Interesting graffitti "art" so stare at. It allows smoking, so if that's a deal breaker be warned (though most Tulsa bars allow smoking). The crowd is diverse and fun. I've talked to 40 year old moms whose kid is at the baby sitters, and 20 something college kids. It's not a "hot spot" or place to "be seen," but it's really fun, decently priced, and a good time all-around. read more

Wine selection sucks first and foremost. Dark and dirty hangout for all kinds of people. Mixed drinks are so-so but the beer selection is nice if you drink beer. Thank goodness they have good tequila as that was the only thing I enjoyed. The service was decent from the waitstaff but the bartender was not top notch. read more

Up front, this place has a lot of promise. The menu has everything from burgers to chicken and waffles. The portions are good. The one major fault with this place is service. I've tried giving this place several chances, but every time I've had poor service and the food is always cooled off when I get it. Not sure how the kitchen operates, but they set food up for more than 10 min and I see my food sit there. If they would just correct this one flaw, I'd eat there more often and correct my rating. This is a place I was reluctant to walk in at first, but glad I did. We stumbled across Caz's while killing some time before a show at Brady Theater. The juke box had some impressive tunes. Black Keys, Ryan Adams, Kings of Leon, Minus the Bear, and MGMT played while we were there. The bar staff was actually really nice and speedy (maybe we caught them on an off day?). In a national touring band that has been to thousands of bars and establishments across the country. Last night my band and entire crew went to Caz's Pub after our show in town that night. Everyone was having a good time not being rowdy or out of line in any shape or form. We were standing in a specific area in front of the bar for about 10 minutes.The room was full shoulder to shoulder to shoulder. The bartender yelled over to my group of a dozen people and said "if we didn't move out of that area he was going to squirt us with water". Beside the fact of not being able to relocate a dozen people because the venue was over capacity but also being dumbfounded by the childish threat the bartender just carried out. He carried out the threat and squirted water on all of us. For obvious reasons we were all angry and one of my friends confronted the bartender followed up by being put in a headlock and dragged out of the venue with excessive force by a bouncer. The lack of professionalism and class of this place was beyond explanation. We have all traveled the country for years in thousands of establishments in that same exact environment night after night due to the nature of our jobs...and this was by far the worst experience we have encountered. So A+ to Caz's in Tulsa,OK for being the shittiest establishment to visit in the United States. read more
