Brown butter and maple foam, on top of a piece of French toast that is the size of a small child. Even with all of the sauce, the toast was still crisp. It was a very heavy dish, some fresh berries with some acidity would be nice to cut through it, but the overall flavor was on point. The wine list is exquisite. The chalkboard with specials says clearly at the top that they add 20% to every check, but I can't recall if it said it was a service fee or gratuity. Either way, they automatically add the tip which, in my opinion, lowers the bar for staff to do a good job. This means, go early to get better service to make the automatic +20% worth it.
