This feels more like a pls e that's good for destination groups than local neighbor bars. Pro tip Ranch: if you're looking to cut calories order a ranch water from Juan. I really wish I remembered the drink I had the first time around, what I do remember is that it was really good. The drink I had recently was the Don Diego de La Ve & it's something I'd get again + would be my usual. Anything tequila, it's automatic (rum is right there at a very close 2nd) when it comes to an alcohol beverage + cocktail. Has addition of ancho reyes, a chile liqueur, that's super subtle in the drink along with lemon lime & agave. My homie looked at my drink & said that's something he should've ordered. *Side Note* I took a look at the menu & I'm convinced I had the Cousin Eddie (when I first visited this place). It's a pity that Yelp doesn't allow 0 star reviews because that would be fitting for 473. Having been in Tulsa for 3 years, I was shocked at how rude and unfriendly the staff here were. I've never experienced anything like it. My wife and I walked in and were there for a total of 15 minutes and during that time we were shouted at and told to leave because we had our baby with us. This terrible lip service came from an employee who was apparently off shift but sitting outside having a beer (a bit strange). From the minute we walked in he gave us daggers and then he proceeded to abruptly stop me at the bar when I was ordering a drink and told me that if I don't leave I'll be paying the $10K fine they will receive? Again, a bit strange. He was rude, unfriendly, and hostile and practically ushered us off the premise. No where else (restaurant and bar wise) in Tulsa have I been where under 21s aren't allowed? We visited a brewery afterwards, for instance, and were welcomed with open arms. However, even if their rule was legitimate, there are many ways to handle that situation gracefully and not leave a sour taste in the customers mouth. If you are contemplating going to 473, resist whatever urge you have, seriously. A complete waste of time. There are fantastic breweries within a one mile distance of this place. My husband and I have some favorite spots to go in downtown tulsa, but I don't think any have as creative, balanced, and consistent offerings as 473. They rotate their menu, which is also fun, and each drink is perfectly sweet, complex, etc etc. My current obsession? The Don Diego. This amazing concoction is similar to a spicy margarita. It uses both lemon and lime and isn't too hot, but the flavors are immaculate!! It's my new favorite drink! My second top pick? The Pickle Schmidt if you like pickles, you NEED TO TRY THIS DRINK! This cocktail is not too sour, sweet, salty... it's just a perfect combination of all three. Whoever created this is so smart, because I would never have thought to put any of the other ingredients in this, but it really is the perfect summer drink. My husband has really enjoyed some of 473's tea cocktails, and I also heard two people say during our last visit that they have the very best Cosmo in town. Sooooo for our first Tulsa igloo experience gotta say it blows. Cool idea but between the aluminum with residue and the old soggy Chex mix it was a challenging. Heater doesn't work toes are frozen. Challenging experience. Service has sucked so far. The bar is out of Capt. Morgan, whiskey, pretty sure the bartender hasn't been tending long. Will not be back. Feel bad leaving a hard honest review but there's nothing positive to stay about this bar. Avoid it spend money somewhere else. 473 surely one of my favorite cocktail hangout place in Tulsa. Why? They have great (well designed) indoor and outdoor seating space. Easily for larger group or more intimate booth seating. And the best part is - my fido can stay with me the whole time. I wish we've more pet friendly indoor places for hangout in Tulsa but sadly no. Let's talk drinks - while they don't have a large variety of liquors to choose from, their quality and prices make up for it. Their House Old Fashioned (ONLY $5 during Happy Hour) - it's well worth a try. Signature Cocktails is $12 - my favs are Don Diego De La Vega (Cucumber Jalapeno Tequila, Ancho Chili Liqueur, Lemon, Lime, Agave) - an easy crowd pleaser with a kick. Spill the Tea (Butterfly Pea Flower Infused Gin, Lemon, Jasmine Green Tea Simple, Elderflower Liqueur) is on the lighter side, a gentle lady's drink. We had our husky group event there Saturday. This space is gorgeous and I need more pet friendly places to follow this example! The outside area is phenomenal! There a ton of spaces out seating, dog bowls filled with water by just about each table. There is a stage for live music, standup, hosting events, or anything else you can think of! This place is 420 and pet friendly! The inside is pet friendly as well and to me that's what true pet friendly should mean. The inside is gorgeous with some beautiful decor and great seating. The bar is awesome and they have some great beers! I had the prairie vape tricks which is one of my favs. It looks like they make some craft cocktails as well. They have food trucks I'm sure for events but not sure yet if they will have some on rotation. I I cannot say it enough about how incredible this space and staff are here. She took time to explain ingredients in the drinks to me and why i should try one versus the other. They have this super cool purple gin and it had me super intrigued so I watched her make it and she explained the process to me which I genuinely appreciated. This bar is super cute! The inside of the building isn't that big but the patio is very spacious and they welcome fur friends which is so cool to see as a dog lover! If you're looking for a place that's kind of lowkey but very aesthetically pleasing this is definitely the place for you! Make sure you show love on the chalk board near the bathrooms lol. This is another great "bar" to find non-alcoholic beverages! They have CBD drinks, Athletic Brewing, and the very cool Social Bison terp tonics. There's also a few craft mocktails as well. The patio is awesome and 420 and dog friendly, as the sign announces as you enter! The crew is super friendly and I've always had great customer service here. This place says it's dog friendly but what they mean is only certain dogs, they are not pit bull friendly and I will not be spending my money on this place that is obviously part of the gentrification of the Kendall Whittier area. They need to seriously figure out an off leash and on leash area for dogs if they claim to be dog friendly. My dog was kept on leash at all times - and I was asked to leave because "people" complained. She didn't even bother to realize that it was an ESA dog or investigate what happened outside. I am a responsible dog owner and I know my dog Which is why I kept him on leash. Myself and the other owner of a dog had a conversation and together concluded our dog's energies were not in sync yet my pittie - who is super trained and has AKC certification -was the only one asked to leave. read more
