Finally trying this place and it didn't disappoint. Love the warm trendy space, fantastic service, drinks and food was delicious. They have amazing sauces too. We will be back.

Amazing ambiance, saw the manager Chad doing great work keeping the whole place together!!! Beautiful restaurant, and our server (we didn't catch his name) but he did amazing as well. We got the fish tacos, and they were 8/10 - potatoes were 1000/10! Moscato D'asti was yum & espresso martini didn't have the foam so we thought it wasn't gonna be good but it was almost better than the ones with the foam. So good!!

First trip to Bar Serra for a lazy Saturday lunch. Nestled next to Banana Republic in Utica Square, there's ample parking, you just have to keep an eye out for the actual spot. Ambiance is fantastic, Gorgeous flower decorations, and the seating area is airy and bright under the skylight with tall ceilings. Even on a 90+ degree day, it was wonderfully cool inside. The food was great. My husband likes his burgers plain, so his was a tad dry because he also likes them well done, but the seasoning was well balanced, the cheese perfectly melted, and the bun buttery soft. The potatoes were the stars for us. Big chunks of fried potatoes with a cheesy crisp to them. Crusty on the outside, soft and well cooked on the inside. Perfection! My hanger steak was cooked medium rare, tender, and flavorful. The side salad was a delight between the arugula, cucumbers, feta, lemon dressing, and tomatoes. I could eat this every day! Our waitress was sweet and we got our food relatively quickly. The hostess seated us promptly, and the other staff we interacted with, were equally genuinely nice. Service could have been maybe a tad more attentive, but no dealbreakers there at all. The strawberry dahlia was very delicious and refreshing and I didn't regret not getting a cocktail at all. Can't wait to try more items!

Whipped Ricotta

Perfect place for a friends' night out! We visited near Christmas time, and the bar was beautifully decorated. Staff was accommodating and patient. Their menu is concise, and there's a little bit of everything-I love it! I tried the whipped ricotta, brick chicken, and a drink. The juicy tomato confit on the whipped ricotta bursted with flavor, pairing nicely with the ricotta and pistou. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this! Though, I would have loved a bit more pita with the whipped ricotta. My favorite part of the brick chicken was the quinoa smothered in a bright, zesty chermoula. Sadly, I ate it too fast and forgot to take a picture. I would love to see a happy hour implemented and more unique cocktails created! It is definitely more expensive in comparison to other bars, but a beautiful place for get-togethers or dates.

10/10! Bar Serra is such a great spot in Tulsa! The vibe is bright and beautiful, and the service is always friendly and on point. Everything we tried was super fresh, especially the Mediterranean bowl and salmon. The appetizers are fun to share and plentiful! and both the burger and crispy chicken sandwich were seriously delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and just a great place to hang out. Service was impeccable and impressive. We had a little spill and they were quick to help. I wish they offered a tiny treat for birthdays- but alas it was awesome!

Super cute, quaint restaurant. Cocktails were super boozy. The fried artichoke was really good, but super salty. Hummus platter was good. Especially the veggies. Smoked trout dip was a bit of a miss. Guacamole was okay, but needed the salt the artichokes had. It needs so more love and flavor. The salsa and chips were exceptional.

Dined on a Saturday night with another couple. It was my first visit, but my wife and the other couple have been before. It's a bright, airy, and open space - tucked away in bustling Utica Square amid the retail stores. We started with various cocktails: aperol spritzes, processo, and a Guinness. All were fine, but the Guinness was not in a traditional pint, at the chagrin of one of our diners. (Perhaps he didn't specify a pint) We started with the guacamole and salsa and the fried artichokes. The guacamole was amazing - chunky, flavorful, and served with homemade tortilla chips. The salsa was nothing special but the star was the guacamole - I'd prefer a thinner chip as the chips were a bit thick for my liking. But it held up to the chunky guac nicely. Fried Artichokes looked delicious and were served with a remoulade. The table really liked them - and the remoulade. Mains included the roasted salmon, brick chicken and Mediterranean bowl. I had the Med bowl and it was fantastic - so much going on!! Hummus, Greek yogurt, cabbage, chicken, quinoa, feta, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot and cauliflower. It was a lot of food but a party of flavors and variety. The others enjoyed their dishes as well - the salmon and veggies looked really great. Service was excellent and no complaints - look forward to returning for the guacamole and med bowl!! For some reason, I forgot to take pics!!

Another Home run for the McNellies family ! Good hostess, good service, good food, and good drinks ! We decided to sit at the bar because the AC was a little chilly over by the wall, but it's a funky time of the year. Small menu and executed perfectly.

One of my favorite places in the Utica Square area for a cocktail and a bite to eat is Bar Serra. We stopped in after dinner for a drink at the bar. It's always a casual, relaxed atmosphere where you can talk and enjoy your company.

My favorite restaurant in Tulsa. Never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and the service is spectacular.

Kale Salad (with added falafel)

I really don't need to update much because I always love this place but instead of the Med bowl, I tried the kale salad. It's my new fave! Recommend always adding falafel to whatever you order.

Though many are familiar with Bar Serra, I was surprised at how much charisma it has. I made lunch plans with a buddy on April 17th around 12:30pm and couldn't think of a better place to try. As my first time at Bar Serra, I was instantly impressed with the comfort and welcoming aura. The entire restaurant is insanely appealing. The exterior is entirely glass (ceilings & doors) and decorated in flowers. There are various styles of seating from booths, high-tops and tables, and there's even modern string lighting. I was impressed with the size of the place. It was deceptively roomier than you'd assume and each table had adequate space in between with appropriate walkways. I entered on the North side of the restaurant. It was a busy hour so there wasn't a host at the podium but it one soon arrived. I was led to a booth around the corner near the restroom across from the bar. The host arrived with water and lunch menus. My friend arrived about 10mins after. The food options were appealing but intentionally meant for a classier crowd and that's reflected by the price. Along with a classic mojito, I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, it comes with "fries" which are large diced fried potatoes. I believe my friend had the Burrata which came on a bowl-type plate. Unfortunately we spilled a water before the food arrived but it came out in less than 10mins after ordering. I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich, the breast itself was juicy in the middle and crispy on the edges of the sandwich. I was surprised that the number of vegetables on the sandwich wasn't overwhelming, well-balanced with the dressing used. The "fries" were good, perhaps overly crispy and used salt+pepper, but decent with ketchup and/or condiments. We were served by the bartender who, considering that she was behind the bar, was attentive and stepped out a few times to check in. Overall, I was satisfied with my first Bar Serra experience. It's is an atmospheric treat that brings delight to guests. The interior is exquisite, the drinks are classy and the food presents as equally upscale. Though Bar Sera is more expensive than many other eateries in Tulsa, you feel the value upon your visit and it makes for an excellent location for a feel-good date.

This is a find in Utica Square. There is shared parking and Bar Serra is tucked between Talbots and Pottery Barn. We were able to get a table quickly. This place is super cute and the way it is open, bright and decorated is inviting. The service was good. We got our food fairly quickly given they were busy. The menu is small but lots of good options. I liked the steak but thought there could be a bit more salad. I had ordered the potatoes as a side and was glad I did. My friends got the fish tacos and enjoyed them. It is a nice place to meet up with friends for good food and chat.

I really wish I remembered the drink I had the first time around, what I do remember is that it was really good. The drink I had recently was the Don Diego de La Ve & it's something I'd get again + would be my usual. Anything tequila, it's automatic (rum is right there at a very close 2nd) when it comes to an alcohol beverage + cocktail. Has addition of ancho reyes, a chile liqueur, that's super subtle in the drink along with lemon lime & agave. My homie looked at my drink & said that's something he should've ordered. *Side Note* I took a look at the menu & I'm convinced I had the Cousin Eddie (when I first visited this place). As I stated that rum is a close 2nd to tequila & the Cousin Eddie has Bumbu (rum) that I already enjoy on its own.

We went on a Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. to try this counterpart to Ava June…read more I have to apologize in advance for the lack of photos to go with this review. Much like Ava June, everything is a little funky here--not in a bad way, just different and unique. We started with cocktails; she had her usual Old Fashioned, but ordered it as a "normal", with Makers Mark, I had a glass of chardonnay (subtotal $28). She put her Makers Mark Old Fashioned near the top of the best in town ($2 extra for Makers??). We frequently split meals, so decided to share a Little Gems salad, which was VERY good. There are only a few salads in town that I like as it's just not my thing, but this one was super tasty. For our pizza we went with the limited edition Cubano as I love a good Cuban sandwich and have a tomato allergy. They did a good job of converting a sandwich to a pizza, though I thought the toppings were a little sparse for $22. I would have preferred that the pickles have been chopped into something smaller than the thick slices it came with (so it LOOKED beautiful). The best part for me is that they offer a fresh-made GLUTEN-FREE rosemary dough!!!! It was absolutely THE BEST gluten-free crust I've ever experienced hands down. My wife said that she would order it even though it's g-f. The vibe was just good, pretty crowded with a mix of generations. The space is fairly small and tight, so be prepared for the possibility of sharing a table. So if you followed the math above (which should be easy if you knew me!) it was $65 plus tax and tip, so $100 for a pizza and salad dinner.... Would I go back?? I wouldn't rule it out given the fantastic gluten-free crust, but would likely consider somewhere else that I consider a better value before beating a path back to Lofi.
