Loved this place so much! Drinks were killer and the atmosphere was so much fun! I know tiki bars were more popular back in the day so this was so cool to have one right in downtown Tulsa. We walked in and they had inside bingo that night (which we should have done, but we just wanted a quick drink.) I didn't know Tulsa had an arts district, but it does and the bar is located in a hollowed out old building within its borders. Inside is like walking into a late 60s / early 70s Love Boat party. Old style booths, grass roofs, mood lighting and more - all dancing along to an upbeat playlist. If you play your cards right you might make a new friend. Classic tiki cocktails are always available. They're placed next to a rotating seasonal menu. Select beers and wines are available if you're wanting another choice. It gets busy. I brought my wife for her first experience at Saturn Room and it was a good time. I have been before but it had been years and we always pass by it so this time we made a date out of it. I for the life of me can't remember what drink I had last time but this time I got the Dead Bastard that was $8.00. Bought two of them actually and it was a very refreshing drink, although the ginger beer likes to over power everything else sometimes. The service slowed down because we got there when people were trickling in so it got really busy. I love the tiki theme cause it feels like a tiny get away from reality, especially inside the bar and it's moody enough to forget you're in Tulsa at times. Love the drink menu, your typical complex and layered tiki drinks that make you want to try them all. We saw that they have bingo on Thursdays so will def have to come back and check it out. Since we were just passing thru it is entirely possible that there is free parking nearby but we didn't see any. Plenty of nearby paid parking. The bar is really cute and well themed. Great divey tiki bar. Good vibes here. Compared to other bars around, they are really strict about valid IDs. I have an expired one and they asked me to leave. One of the bartenders recognized me as a friend of his girlfriend and said he knows I'm overage, but said they would not be able to serve me. That's fine. I'm not a big drinker anyway. This is just a fun spot to land if you're out and about or if you want a different bar experience than most in downtown. They have some different kind of Polynesian inspired drinks on the menu. It's been a while since I ordered it, but their drink with the macadamia nut base was so good and will get you feeling loose without you realizing what you're drinking. It was a friendly spot and on a beautiful sunny, Saturday afternoon in November, we were thrilled to find an outdoor patio for drinks. (Side note that this area did not appear to have very many outside spaces for bars - KC seems to have way more options for this.) Hubby had the Cobra's Fang and enjoyed it. I tried the Trinidad Sour and was fascinated by the flavors. Based on the description in the menu, I couldn't place the flavors and ended up talking to the bartender about it and learned that bitters can be the main component in a cocktail and can surprise you with the flavor profile it creates. This little bar is so cute! I loved the drink selection. I tried the chartreuse and the missionary's downfall. Both were handcrafted and well worth the price. The missionary's downfall was blended and it was perfectly balanced. Yo uh couldn't tell that it contained quite a lot of alcohol. Their menu has palm trees by each drink to indicate how turnt you are going to get. It was nice enough to enjoy the patio, which we loved. The only downside is that they dont have any snackies. I could have used something to munch on. The next time I'm in tulsa, I'd love to try one of their shareable punches. Those looked divine. read more

I love that Tiki Bars have made a comeback. They're just so fun and funky and for a little slice of time I can live out all of my Jane-Jetson-living-in-a-midcentury-modern-house-in-the-1960's fantasies! What happened? We have been coming to the Saturn Room for years and never had this horrible of an experience. First, none of the bartenders knew how to make a drink. A Zombie or Painkiller are very standard Tiki drinks and both bartenders were clueless. That is more of a mangement problem as neither were trained to make a drink. They would huddle together on their phones on EVERY DRINK! The result was a 35 to 40 minute wait time on every drink. BTW- they are no longer allowed to serve drinks in Tiki glasses?!?!. The staff was nice at first but turned caddy when their drinks dont taste the same. read more

Hello everybody, to start off. We asked the bartenders their favorite drink, and they replied with, "there is a menu right there". After that they already set the vibe for our visit. We showed up at 1:10 on a Friday night. They already shut pretty much everything down by the time we got there(their last call is at 1:30). This is our guest time at this bar and we did not know which way was the patio. Walked to the wrong side to get to the patio then they took our drink and poured it out. Without telling us it's the wrong side or letting us know. The continued to laugh at us in a very unprofessional way and tell us to get an Uber. We had only been out 30 minutes and this was the worst experience we have had. We were bartenders in okc and the fact that we had an actual personality and stuck ip for ourselves they assumed we were overly intoxicated. The worst experience we have had going out at a bar and will never be back. We were very friendly and left a good tip. We do not understand why from the beginning we received bad attitudes. Instead of good customer service for pouring out our drink and not telling us the entrance to the outside patio has a different entrance than the open gate at the front of the bar and refunding us they laughed at us and told us to make a claim with the bank. The Saturn Room is one of my favorite bars in Tulsa. It is a rum and tiki bar downtown. It has such a cool vibe, awesome view, and it's only complemented by the yummy drinks they have. They have a wide array of tiki drinks. Almost everyone has mentioned it already, but the Macadamia Nut Chi Chi will NOT disappoint. It is SO good! It is hands down my favorite drink. The Mezcal Daisy is also a good option if you like tequila. They also have a list of classic drinks like daiquiris and cuba libre as well as beer and wine. I went with my friend from Micronesia once and she said it made her miss home. Presentation is always flawless and service is very friendly. It is a good place to meet friends to catch up in a laid back environment. If you go with a group, definitely check out their drinks for sharing like the scorpion bowl or tropical itch. read more

A bit eclectic, this Tiki Bar is one of our favorite stops...people are great, like the atmosphere and the craft made cocktails are as good as any in Tulsa. Andra had the Momma Mo, a house specialty while I started with a Chi a Chi, their number one selling drink. Andra loves the spice while still being a cool drink. The Chi Chi is a hazelnut version of a Pina Colada, simply wonderful with the natural ingredients. After my first one I began to play in Tulsa's best rum selection. Music fits the mood and we could look out through the roll up window to a view of the Tulsa skyline. This place is always tops. read more
