First I'll be honest on the good with CJ's, I love the establishment and look of a traditional Irish pub, great live music playing in the background, cocktail menu with fun drinks and creative names, decent food, I ordered the Philly dilly, basically it's a fried pickle drizzled with thin pieces of steak which I was not expecting but tasty! The bad is that it's kinda loud, hard to get attention when needed to order or start a tab which I understand that sometimes pubs are busy and Tho the one thing I would change is the cheese, felt off and wasn't the right type of cheese, I would use provolone. Overall it's a pretty decent bar with food, appetizer and rink options, went there during St. paddy's day, tried a Guinness beer, followed by a shot of whisky and a Cj Moloney's t shirt for 10$ which is the highlight of my day. read more

We got a beer and a glass of wine for less than $10 with a tip. You can't beat that. The band was fun. Place was packed. Bartenders were friendly. I ordered the loaded tots and they were soooo good. Plus it's not smoky any more so it's actually pretty great now. read more

Loved it. However could have used somewhat better bat service. At one point they seemed to into talking with friends.

Placed an order to go went to pick it up after 20 min wait got there to find out the manager who took my order never put in an order and had already left for the day. Had to wait another 10-15 min for the kitchen to prepare my new order which was fish fry dinner and wings to go. Probably the worst fish I've ever tasted it was fishy, loaded with premade frozen dinner breading with a rubbery texture and side of burnt fryer oil taste. French fries were flavorless and mushy. The wings were meaty but the breading on the outside ruined the flavor. Bone in wings should be crispy with flavorful sauce. My food is now stinking up my garbage. read more

Cramped bar with possibly the tiniest dance floor I've ever seen. We were there to see a band. They were awesome but the venue was very dirty and drinks had hardly any liquor in them. The saving grace was the waitstaff. They were EXCELLENT and attentive. We moved to the west side of BA and found this place. We we're going a couple of times a week, however the service been awful recently. Today We didn't see our server for over an hour and I waved at her behind the bar and indicated we wanted to order food. She never came over so we just flagged down another server and tabbed out. So I have been going to to this place for well over a year and I enjoyed the Taco Tuesday and would periodically switch between Friday and Saturday nights each week. I normally order food when I drink and I have had a few issues with the service such as 1 - Being charged another person's tab who's bill was larger than my own and being told it couldn't be corrected cause the card had already been charged. Was told next time I came in, they would give me a drink to make up for it (which never happened) 2 - Getting the wrong food and just eating what I was given and this issue happened on a regular basis Now, I have been a regular and I really enjoy the people that go here and I even met and joined a group that does Taco Tuesday at this place so I have always just went with the flow but last night was my deal breaker. I ordered 2 beef soft tacos (which are 0.50 each) and I received 2 chicken soft tacos (which are a 1.00 each). I don't like chicken tacos. I never have. I washed down one taco with the margarita I had ordered and left the other. I then ordered a Single Screwball over ice. The waitress set the glass down and I thanked her and picked it up, took one drink and almost threw up. There was a hair stuck to the glass. Not just on the glass but actually STUCK to the glass. It was disgusting. I took the drink to the bar and showed it to the waitress who then asked me how I knew it was there because you could barely see it and I told her because my mouth had touched it. She then stated she would get me a knew one (which she did) and that was it. She didn't offer an apology and they still charged me for the drink. I was given the wrong food and a hair drink and I really believe because I have been such a long time customer that it was okay not to have to make any effort what so ever to make things right. I mean why should they, I have been coming here for a while and have never put up a fuss about the other things that were wrong so why should a hair drink be any different. The service has gone down so much since I first began going and now I have had enough. I'm never going back. read more

A few years back, my cousins & I stopped by this place for a drink, after watching SATC the movie. The place looked like an average, kinda dingy hole-in-the-wall, with patrons that were probably mostly/all locals. The music was loud & we made our way to the bar for some cosmopolitans, after a game of pool. Long story, but 1 of the guys hanging out there eventually told me that he & his friend thought we were maybe "Bruce Lee's cousins" when we first walked in. Wow. lol. Am I suggesting that CJ Moloney's is the kind of place where one could run into such people? Not sure, but it would've been great to have been Bruce Lee's cousin, because he kicked so much ass. Also, I would've loved to use Bruce Lee's Kung Fu skills on that guy. My ancestors were probably just lazy opium dealers, though. The bartender was nice, cool - kinda reminded me of Tommy Lee circa 2003 with his tattoos, soul patch & spike haircut. He asked us if the guys were bothering us. My cousin asked him if he'd have a shot with us - & he did. Shock of my life. Wait - that happens??!? Well, it did - at CJ Moloney's. It's not (in any way) the kind of place you would expect to have a coat check (lol Yelp, for asking this), but it's a low-key place for a drink or 2 while enjoying a game of pool with your Tulsa friends/family, when you're in town. read more

Last night was a buddy and my first Friday night there...although someone had stacked the juke box with a slew of irritating rap, as the night grew on things got better with the karaoke. The staff was very friendly and quick. This us a real bar, and yes there is smoking, but its a bar, thank goodness! I wish the beer selection were a bit better but its better than other area bars. This used to be the spot with live bands, good drinks and friendly staff. It is no longer busy, ever, and at best they may have a DJ on the weekends from what I've seen. Prices are more of what you would find on Brookside at the more popular places. Bar tenders range from very attentive to flat out no service whatsoever. The only positive to me is that they went no smoking however they won't see anymore of my money after being refused service by a bartender that was apparently having a bad day. Good luck. read more

We live right around the corner so when we decide to go to a bar, we choose CJ Maloney's often. The worst thing about this place is that it's smoking and depending on how busy they are, the smoke can be overwhelming. That being said, my husband and I really like this bar. We don't typically go during high volume times so the smoke can be dealt with. The food is fantastic!! We even order to-go food from time to time. The drinks are affordable and they have great shot/drink specials so we always have a great time without spending a fortune!! The music can be a bit too loud at times and we've had bad service 1 time in all the years we've been going, but all in all a great neighborhood bar that's fun and affordable. read more

We got a groupon for burgers from this place and honestly was not excited upon first appearances but the food is GOOD. the burgers were great and the waffle fries were even better- we will definitely go back. CJ Maloney's is a neighborhood bar in Broken Arrow that has a huge space but is seldom busy on any of the times I have visited over the years. They used to offer drown nights on certain days of the week, but I believe they are in the process of transitioning out of that. I was surprised to find out that even on a pretty dead Sunday night there were no specials, and the pricing doesn't seem to correlate with what it should be for a bar of this nature. Apparently they recently renovated, but it does not appear any different than when it did when the last time I was here about two years ago: it has a warehouse look and feel to it, but not much of a personality. There's a pretty big stage and open area for watching a live band or doing karaoke, which could be fun depending on the night. I have been to a couple local shows here in the past and it's not too bad. The service is friendly, but the bar just seems a bit generic. It's ok if you're in the area because there's not much else around here. read more

I live in the neighborhood behind here so its nice to have the option to walk instead of driving and risking getting pulled over. good food, decent priced drinks. once a week they have a $5 cover for basically all you can drink domestics. good music but jukes are exspensive, typically $1 a song. but if your wanting to play pool this place sucks. worst pool tables and sticks ive played with. and the bartenders will ignore you unless you sit right in the middle of bar. read more

My Husband and I went to C J Moloney's after attending a concert, Bad idea!! We asked our bartender for 1 White Russian and a water, I don't know what we got but it was not a White Russian. After a couple of sips I went to see if a different bartender could make it. When the original bartender saw i was back to get the drink remade he said in a very down grading tone "Well how Do you make it, If you even know how" So i replied " For starters I've never seen anyone shake a White Russian to foam." And Boy did that make him mad. According to him a White Russian is like a "milkshake." So the second bartender makes it again....WRONG!! He through a handful of cherries on it like that would make the mistake okay. In the end we left the full drink at our table, and 8 less dollars in our pockets.
