About once a week we hit Louie's because we love their happy hour promo you really can't beat it! We split one of their amazing yummy pizzas which is 1/2 off during happy hour and we each get a 1/2 off drink. I think I've tried all the specialty drinks by now and my fav is hard to narrow down between Oh so Cherry or the strawberry mojito I love a good mojito so much though so that's probably the winner for me. My husband LOVES the ultimate margarita! The servers are all so friendly and helpful and we've run into several friends at the BA location. We stopped by here for a lunch when waiting to get our haircut and it just wasn't that great. Fries were soggy and the food was pretty tasteless. Service was ok but we never did get our refills and when having 4 kids eating refills in drinks are a must. We may have come in on a bad day but the place was a little dirty with food on the ground and just really didn't hit the mark. Visiting family and asked where's a good place to grab a bite to eat, they suggested this place. The interior had plenty of sitting booths and even a bar area. Customer service was pretty friendly and open to offering suggestions. Ordered the Brew Burger with fries. The burger had great flavor and I devoured it. To drink I ordered multiple mixed drinks. I think the first one was a porch swing and then the other two were a watermelon jolly rancher. OMG all of their mixed drinks were dangerously good! This is a local casual American eatery and pub that serves a variety of food options. They have many locations serving the Broken Arrow & Tulsa, OK area. I decided on this restaurant at the last minute due to late work training and having little time to decide what to eat. They have a good variety of food options to choose from. I ordered the nachos and a frozen lemonade which were both pretty good. The best I've had? No, but pretty good. The atmosphere reminded me of a Chili's or Friday's type of restaurant. Nice laid-back atmosphere for families and friends to hang out. The staff was really friendly which is a big deal to me. Prices are decent, the food is good, service was quick and friendly. Me and my family came in Saturday night the food and service was great it was busy and I can see that some servers were struggling and a manger doing absolutely nothing but stand around and play on her phone the servers looked miserable talking to her. I also saw the manager roll her eyes multiple times when servers were asking her questions. As someone who's worked in the service industry I found this behavior to be highly concerning. I've had some amazing bosses and from an outside perspective this individual did not seem to be one of them. We used to frequent this restaurant a lot more, but we have lately fallen out of the habit of going lately. The menu has changed less to our liking and there are better options like Smitty's Garage that have come available in the area. We have had some decent meals here and some good meals, but the thing that seems to be hit or miss here is the service. We have consistently had inconsistent service. We also have a bit of a joke in our family about the servers trying to take your plates before you're done eating. Its seems like they are coached to rush you through the meal. Plenty of times we have had a burger in our mouths, and they ask if we're done, haha. In the past some of our go to menu items have been the burgers, pizza and fried pickle chips. My friend and I went to this location for the first time. The menu has a great variety and the food was really good. The pizza was more than enough for me to take home leftovers. The shrimp bowl was also great and large portion. It was a $1 for each add on and my friend added 3 things making it $13. The only unfortunate experience I had at Louie's was when I picked up a to go order, but in all fairness it was raining. This is my favorite spot in broken Arrow to eat for many reasons. First, the food is great! I get ranch chicken wrap with buffalo sauce, or I'll get the buffalo chicken salad. Both are phenomenall! And their homemade ranch is something I could eat every day. One thing I love about Louie's is you never leave hungry. Their portion sizes are very fair. My son gets the chicken tenders and my daughter loves their traditional wings with fries. These wings are definitely not like Buffalo wild wings. Things wings have so much meat on them and pack a powerful punch. Oooh and order the delicious queso! Second, the servers are fantastic! We've had several of the regulars and each one is on point. When we visit one time, my food was brought out not tossed in buffalo sauce, and they would not let me pay for it. I even said it wasn't a big deal. Which leads me to three, the management. I can tell from the manager's interactions with their guests and their servers and staff that they do a great job running the place. Four, the vibe is chill and there is an outside area to eat as well. Also, if you want to catch the game, there is a bar area. Me and my gals stopped into Louie's on the way out of town for a quick lunch. We were seated immediately, which was nice, since it was right at the peak of lunch hour. Drink orders were taken and menus passed out, and we quickly ordered some apps to nosh on. Very quickly, the chips and queso arrived, followed immediately by the buffalo wings, half spicy buffalo and half garlic parmesan. First off... the apps. Really, really good. Queso was creamy and smooth with just the right amount of heat. The wings though.... those were stellar. Large, meaty, cooked perfectly.... and the sauces... The buffalo sauce was perfectly seasoned, and the garlic parm... I coulda done a face plant in that stuff. Best wings I've had around town outside my own kitchen. On to lunch. The Kid had the small cheese pizza, which was outstanding. The Daughter had the asian salad, and the one bite I got was off the charts good. A little sesame/peanut flavoring in the dressing, and a huge portion. Can't go wrong on that one. The Wife and I both had the Big Lou burger, hers medium well, mine medium rare. Both were cooked correctly, and were just busting with flavor. The fries are the slender matchstick variety and are served in abundance with the burger. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault. My only two comments are: 1. I would mince the onions on the burger to fry them in. That's a personal thing, I just don't like larger hunks of onion partially cooked. 2. They need to do something about the door to the men's room. From our table, which was right next to the hallway, I could see everything that was going on whenever the door was opened, including direct line of sight to the urinal. And not just me, but every table within that sight line. Seriously management... that needs to be fixed. Let's talk about Louie'Grill and Bar. Louie's is a place I would like to like but I'm probably being nostalgic for my 1980s self. This location is loud, the layout is merely functional, the carpet is outdated, and the look is sports gothic - lots of TVs but everything else is black. We went on a Friday night this time. It was busy. We had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The hosts were tragic. Bad attitude. Unwelcoming. Sloppy dress. Unkempt. I know it's hard to find help these days but meth head party girl past prime cougar homeless isn't a good look at the front door. Another couple entered. I'm not sure how we got the table/booth and they got the booth, but it was irritating not to be asked. Ya know cuz two dudes get the table by the bathroom while the hetero cisgendered couple get the booth. Whatever. The people that eat at this location are Broken Arrow natives. Not the good kind, people who I'm thankful aren't my neighbors. Also, they are all very very loud. Sigh. The menu is merely a collection of things no one wants. I've had many items from Louie's, and the whole southwest bar/pub food thing served in baskets lined with paper needs an update. Pizza. Wings, burgers, salads, tacos. Salmon, but no steak. Kudos for the vegan options though. I got the blackened chicken with rice and veggies, and this leads to questions. For example, why isn't it blackened. Why is the layer of cheese on top thicker and more substantial than the chicken. By weight, why does it appear to be more bacon than chicken. Why does it appear that the chicken is three or four very thin chicken tenders glued together and hidden by a mound of toppings. Why have I not used ? ??? The veggies were good and the rice was hot, and weirdly served in a little cup. Look there is absolutely nothing to recommend Louie's. Want Tacos - there's Tacos for Life. Want sandwiches, there's Subway. Want pizza - there's Hideaway. Want salads - they have salads. It's amazing the number of salads they have and it leads to the question who freaking eats a salad in this place. Literally who - we discussed clientele above and I'm certain that not one of them has ever purposefully elected a salad. Want burgers - there's Five Guys and Brownies, and McDonalds. Want a beer - there's one in your fridge. So if you go prepare for what used to be considered a good experience but today feels in need of an update in flavors, presentation, and style. We hardly ever dine it at Louie's but the times we do it seems like the place could use a good clean! The manager there is always super nice! We generally do their pizza take out and their service is usually really great on to go orders! LOVE their pizza. Tip: Ask for your pizza well done. It's much better that way! Take away orders take about 10 minutes and they'll bring it to your car. UPDATED REVIEW: We decided to try Louie's to go during the pandemic and I ordered my usual- pizza, no sauce. I know that's strange but hey- you like what you like. The sweet to go hostess came out and gave us our food, and I told her that there was sauce on my pizza which I requested none. She nicely apologized and took it back inside The manager (not the one posted above) proceeded to come out to my car and argue with me about there being sauce on my pizza! I literally had to tear the cheese off with my hands and show him the sauce and tomatoes. I've never been asked to physically tear apart food as proof that something wasn't correct. Black bean burgers, babayyyy! I love Louie's as a vegetarian because they have so many accommodations on their menu for vegetarians despite being a pretty traditional pub-style place overall. They have a lot of seating at this location in the regular restaurant, as well as a large bar with booths and high tops. There are TVs across both the bar and the regular restaurant, which makes this a great Sunday football watch spot. This would be a great place to come for a lunch (lots of good lunch specials on the daily) and also a great place for happy hour because of the large app menu and all the beer and drink selections. read more

I was here for a big group dinner and they were able to accommodate all 20 of us within 30 minutes. We called ahead prior to arriving. When we arrived, they already had two tables of ten people each set up in the back of the restaurant. We had a dedicated server and a helper work our two tables. The server was very nice and took our orders without any problems. It also helped that we were all on one ticket, which the server appreciated. The food came out piping hot and they were all so delicious. We all shared the Triple Play for starters. For my main dish, I had the Southwest Chicken with two sides of my choice. I chose Steamed Veggies and Sweet Potato Fries. No one complained about the food and the drinks. Louie's is an excellent place for that big group gathering or even a date night. My wife loves wings and last night was the 3rd time we have tried, we have only gave them this many tries because we have kids and they love kid food! My wife ordered bone in wings extra crispy and like clockwork they came out extra soggy....... I dont know how hard it is to get chicken wings crispy at a restaurant but I have no problem doing it in my own kitchen. Louie's is a small chain in Tulsa and OKC, however that doesn't mean they don't do gluten free!! They have gluten free pizza now for only 2 dollars more. They have a dedicated gluten free menu and it's varied with options from burgers w/o the bun to nachos and tacos to pizza and salads. I had the avocado burger with steamed veggies on the side and it was good! Nice crunch from the red onion, 1/2 avocado on top with Swiss cheese and bacon. They don't recommend getting the fried if you are gluten free because they fry other things in the oil. My husband got the theta burger and loved it, my friends got the sliders and fish and chips, which was a generous portion. I plan on coming back and trying the pizza or fish tacos! I really like Louie's. I haven't gotten into the "love" category yet, but I like them a lot. I love their fried pickles, but they always burn me. If I wait until they're cooled down to eat them I'm done with the rest of my meal, so I sacrifice a little comfort for the tasty, crispy goodness! I also love their Theta Burger with the turkey patty (they've changed the name, and I don't remember what the new one is, but the Theta has BBQ sauce and cheese on it). Back to what I don't love about Louie's: I don't like that they try to take your plate even though you're not done. Like the plates are coming out of the wait staff's own paychecks and we're going to steal them....its bad. They're polite about it, but when half of your food is still on your plate, and their hands go out to grab it WHILE they're asking if you're done, you just want to slap their hands away. It's become a game to see how long it'll be before someone comes over to try and take our plates. Minor details. As I said, I love the Theta Burger (or whatever it's called now). Toasted bun, juicy patty, lots of BBQ sauce, and gooey cheese. Served with 1 side, and the sides are not just your usual fries and onion rings. Some of the sides have a small upcharge, but nothing too expensive. I've had a French dip here that was really good, and the Veggie pizza is one of my faves! I know, I wouldn't think of a grill/bar for a good pizza but this place is great. Most of the time you seat yourself, and there is plenty of seating (mostly booths, but lots of smaller tables and some bar seating. If you have a super large group they allow call aheads and will have the table all ready when you get there. Some of the booths have a thin wall that can be removed to make a larger booth, which is great if you have a large group but weird if you don't b/c you can totally see under the wall into the next table. So we were watching the pre-game on a NFL Sunday and they kept having commercials for Louie's Grill and Bar. The advertisement literally said "Come watch all the games at Louie's". So despite having NFL Sunday Ticket at our house, after we dropped family off at the airport we decided to venture out and have a nice lunch and watch the games. Based on their commercial and after browsing their menu online, we selected Louie's...silly us believing a TV commercial. We walk into Louie's and the place is 2/3 restaurant and 1/3 bar. They have TVs all over the place...with you guessed it...just basic cable...NO NFL SUNDAY TICKET. So their commercial should have said..."Watch all the games you can watch at your house with old style rabbit ear antennas." To make things even worse, the sound was playing crappy Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber music...well maybe no exactly but it definitely wasn't the games. Food was just okay, but honestly we only stayed for chips and queso. To our surprise two beers and chips was $25.00. A little steep if you asked me. We won't be going back despite the fact that the menu seemed decent. I'm not about to go back to a place that has commercials that come no where close to reality! One star was me simply feeling generous after a couple of beers at the Fox and Hound that does have NFL Sunday Ticket!!! read more
