Love the comfort and care that is put into each and every meal that I've had here. Cheddar's has been consistently good every where I have gone for years and this location was no exception! My family was warmly welcomed and quickly brought out those amazing sweet Croissants drizzled with cream. They managed to save me one when I returned from the restroom. Biting into that croissant was amazing--lots of butter and so much sweetness. For dinner I got the bourbon shrimp and salmon with carrots and green beans. So delicious! I was expecting the sauce to be very sweet, but it was not, it had a spicy, garlic, and light flavor which popped really well with the salmon and shrimp. I loved the carrots as they were very soft and a little sweet. Overall our meals were so good. I love that the staff allowed us to relax and talk after eating. First let me say that our family has loved Cheddar's food since they first opened in Tulsa. I would like to say that they are still as good today. As I said, our family likes their food. We celebrated the patriarch's 91st birthday Sunday night. I knew from a prior birthday celebration we had there, that they don't take reservations. That means that if you have quite a few people in your party, you just have to take your chances that they can accommodate you! They do have a call ahead wait list, however it will only accept 6 people. If you have over that mark, you had better go elsewhere. It was a Sunday night, and we were meeting there, so I arrived early to register our party. Since I could not make a reservation, or get on a wait list, I was told that it would be an hour wait! I was hoping that maybe the estimated time would be shorter. It was not! We watched people come, eat, and go for two hours! When asked about the wait we always got the reply, we're waiting for the people to leave! What kind of an answer is that? With all the people that they seated during the TWO HOUR WAIT, they could have taken us. I guess that I should mention that this was the second time this has happened to us with a birthday celebration! It most surely will be our last! Unless, and until, they institute a policy of taking reservations (I would have been willing to give a credit card to hold one), or opening up their wait list, we won't be going to Cheddar's for another birthday!! read more

My mom and I went here for lunch on a Sunday and surprisingly we got seated right away. It was 2 PM but they still seemed quite busy. It was very loud in the patio room and there were lots of children so that was a little annoying. However, we knew what we wanted pretty easily so we ordered with our drink and our food as always came quick and was good like it is every time it's consistent. The waiter wasn't around a lot, but was nice and refilled my water when I asked, and this is always an easy option for lunch. I feel they are a little overpriced, but it is good portions and good food and I never feel like I go wrong here. Cheddars has a variety of offerings which range from fried food to healthy grilled food. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is good, and the prices are fair considering the quality of the good. They have all day Happy Hour. My husband and I like to sit in the bar and share an order of their chicken fingers and fries while enjoying a glass of their all day Happy Hour beer. I also love their chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy. Sometimes we order the double chicken and an extra side or two. The food was less than stellar. I ordered salmon that came raw, reordered and by the time a new one was done I was no longer hungry. The beef in another dish was tough, a baked potato that was supposed to be loaded was cold and served with no butter, it was a joke. She pronounced it delicious and since she shared a few bites with me I agree. I tried the fish and chips. Fish was well battered and fried perfectly. The fries I think had been under a heat lamp a little too long. We sat in a section of the restaurant beneath their unique ceiling fans and a skylight. For reference, we have not been to Cheddar's in probably 15-20 years. We burned out on it as it was a frequent double date night for us and friends back in the day. So we decided to go for nostalgia sake. The honey butter croissants melt in your mouth - so yummy. I ordered the Dijon chicken and mushrooms as that was my go-to years ago. And yes, I ordered both the broccoli cheese and rice casserole and regular broccoli for sides, after asking if the regular broccoli was seasoned and the waitress confirmed they use garlic butter on it. On first bite of the Dijon chicken and mushrooms, I immediately regretted my order. I'm really not sure if they changed something or if my tastebuds have just evolved with time, but this wasn't the piece of nostalgia I was looking forward too. The broccoli itself was not seasoned/barely seasoned, so the casserole was really the only thing appealing. Again, very hard to tell if it was me or a change in recipe but the flavors were so off. Very strong mushroom flavor overpowering the too sweet Dijon sauce. I was just not a happy camper. Service was fine, nothing spectacular but she did keep our drinks filled most of the time. She didn't question that I had mostly pushed food around on the plate and offered me a to-go box, which I did take because I hate waste and figured someone in our household would eat it. Overall, I don't think we'll be feeling anymore nostalgia for Cheddar's anytime soon. The place stays packed though, so I'm positive they won't miss us! read more

Another full parking lot, yet another excellent experience at Cheddar's. The menu is loaded with various delicious dishes and comfort foods to choose from regardless of your mood. Service comes quickly along with a plate of warm, flaky croissants as a nice appetizer. After deciding on the Meatloaf and mashed potatoes, I was served a tasty, crisp Caesar salad that could have filled me up by itself. I took three family members and myself to Cheddar's it was between 3:30 & 4:00 PM, we waited about 10 minutes to be seated and after we were seated we had to clean the table ourselves because it wasn't clean there were crumbs everywhere. They seated us in the rear in a booth next to a party looks like 20 people or more there was a mother with about 4 kids I don't know if she was with this party but she came to their table socializing with the people seated there eating, the kids were hanging all on the backs of the seat at the booth we were in, the were tapping us on the shoulder waving and just being disruptive, the mom was from one end to the other taking pictures on her phone of the party of 20, her kids were crawling all on the floor and the waitress could barely move around while trying to take our order; it was so noisy you couldn't hear and yourself think the mother wasn't really controlling the children every once in a while she would say don't do that or and continue taking photos with her phone, she was there for about 10 minutes finally a members of my family went to get management or someone to move us to another table away from all this noise and distraction. The waitress was none to helpful in this matter, she would just look and say I understand after we asked to be move. Eventually we were move to another table, this table was also dirty the booth seats had food and greasy spots we had to wipe down before we could sit down, we went to the ladies room, which wasn't really clean, there were no paper towels and this was brought to management attention and we we told that he knew that there was no paper towels, after all dealing with everything we went through, we just decided it was best to just leave. We had placed our food orders, but the food had not been brought out before we decided to leave, so it wasn't a dine and dash situation. There is a Target store across the street, management could have gone there and bought paper towels since the restaurant was completely out. This was one of the worst experiences that I've encountered in a while and Cheddar's has been scratched off of my list of Restaurants to ever patronize again. Caleb Merriman is the GOAT and honestly deserves a raise. I came into Cheddar's expecting the usual casual dining experience, but Caleb completely leveled it up. From the moment we sat down, he was super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Our drinks never got empty, the food came out fast, and he made sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. What really stood out was his attitude. He kept things fun and positive while still being professional, which made the whole meal way better. You can tell he actually cares about the customers and takes pride in doing a good job. It's rare to get service that good these days. If you're lucky enough to get Caleb as your server, you're going to have a great experience. Cheddar's should definitely recognize him because employees like that are the reason people keep coming back. Give that man a raise read more

Miserable little resturant by Darden. Manager seems homophobic, unfriendly, unprofessional and quite frankly ...racist. As I saw him give a black gentlemen a dirty look and walk away from the table. Not a word of kindness. Food is aweful and typically bland and under cooked. The shimp Alfredo. I had to eat off my spouses plate. The bathroom are DISGUSTING!!!!!!! and seem to be the last time as well. Trash, That's the one and only word I can give this place. I gave them one last chance. This place is amazing. Service is great - so fast! Braden is awesome! Classic Mule is great! It is exactly as a mule is supposed to be! The croissants are amazing! So light & yet still flaky! Spinach dip is good, very light & mostly spinach (good for us!) I got the pot pie (my weakness) and it was divine! This was one of my mother's favorite places in Tulsa and our family still lives coming here. Waitstaff is excellent. Food is very consistent. Ambiance is inviting and they always seem to have a bustling crowd. Good for families and groups. Recently had dinner at Cheddar's for the first time with some friends. The Wife had the chicken pot pie while I went with the Chicken Fried Steak and a cup of baked potato soup to start. The Wife's CPP was well done, with a really nice crust and plenty of filling. She came away quite satisfied. While my CFS was good, I could have face planted in that bowl of soup. Thick, creamy and full of ingredients, a bowl of that would make a meal for anyone. Service was good, even with a busy house. We had a couple of larger parties close by, so noise was a factor, but that's not Cheddar's fault at all. Overall, I'd drop back in anytime. Especially for some potato soup. read more

I had a terrible experience visiting this cheddars location. I called to place in a to-go order at 10:59 AM so that when I got there, my food would be either ready or close to being ready, so that I could bring my girlfriend some lunch for her lunch break which is at 11:30am. A woman representative answered and asked how she could help me, I then proceeded to state that I would like to place a to l-go order, then she asked me could I please hold. Knowing that i live 15 minutes away i hopped right into my car so that i would be there around 11:15 to hopefully pick up my order. During this time I was still on hold... I drove from my house to cheddars, walked in and spoke to the two hostesses that were standing next to a phone at the hostess stand and asked for a manager, (again while still on hold). I told the hostesses that I would be waiting for the manager at the bar. I walked over to the bar to place an order, I was the only person standing at the bar. several employees walked past me and never spoke. Finally after 10 minutes the bartender name Courtney asked could she take my order. I showed her my phone and told her I have been on hold on the phone waiting to place an order for 22 minutes and counting. She apologized for the hold, which was kind of her. Courtney did a great job! Shout out to Courtney. But there was still no excuse as to why i was on hold 22 minutes because there was only about 4 customers in the entire restaurant. I finally received my food at 11:45am. Which means I was late to arrive to my girlfriend's job to give her lunch, which she didn't get to eat because I was late. And on top of that, the manager never came to see me. And as I was walking out, I told the two hostesses that the manager never came. They assured me that they had asked the manager to come see me at the bar (which i saw them do on their radios). I am highly upset at the fact that I was on hold for 22 minutes and the fact that almost everyone in the restaurant, walked past me and didn't ask me if I needed any help except for Courtney, who came from the kitchen area of the restaurant then to the bar and noticed me standing there. Courtney definitely gave me exceptional customer service, and if it wasn't for her I would never come back to cheddars. My friend raved about the new Orleans pasta I was so excited to try it. 3 stars for the dish because it was super salty.. not the whole dish but the sausage.. the chicken was bland but the sauce and other flavors over shadowed the blandess. The high light of this dish was the vegetables I would recommend adding more to the dish. I was able to get a few bell peppers & onions with each bite they intensified the flavors.. Never Go on a Sunday! One of the worst experiences ever. I tried to place my order over the app, and the app said none of the pick up times were available, so I had to go in to place the order.(not to thrilled as it was raining). The young man that took my order, oh lord is all I have to say to that. He could not keep up. Yes, they were busy, and a terminal crapped out during our wait, but our waiter did not even check back to settle our check.(He finally got back to us to get our check thank goodness. The lady that was next to my husband and I had been there for over an hour waiting). When he came back for payment, it took him twice to get it done because of the crapped out terminal(which finally had a successful reboot, thank goodness. Then he brought me back the ticket to sign off on, he said to my husband,"I'll bring it to you when i bring it to you." My husband said thank you.Honestly, he was much nicer about it, despite me about to lose my crap). By the time we got home to Muskogee, the dinner was still warm and digestible. But when someone asks for malt vinegar and bbq sauce on the side, it does not mean balsamic vinaigrette dressing and bourbon glaze. Though they were both good, that showed me how well the staff are educated on products. When you do not know the difference between glaze and bbq sauce, malt vinegar, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing, it makes you look bad(if you do not have the product the customer request, let them know).The customer service and customer one on one interaction needs to be worked on desperately in this establishment. Overall, it could have been a better experience all around. (Also, if someone tries to place a mobile order, and the time is not available, you need to extend those times on your end to accommodate for that lag in service, and lack in staff). read more

Wife and I visited Cheddars on 71st Sunday afternoon. We were seated quickly even though it was a busy Sunday dinner crowd. Service was excellent we sat at a table in bar area and our waiter was also the bar tender. We had spinach dip with chips it came out quickly and was warm and tasty. We both had a house salad served cold and crisp lettuce with fresh vegetables . We also both had the chicken fried steak dinner with gravy and potato's . The steak was as good as any chicken fried steak I've ever had .the gravy was flavorful and warm so excellent experience. The size of the steaks were very large and the crust was very crunchy. Pricing was very reasonable , we highly recommend this venue for good home cooking specials. read more
