The chicken was excellently cooked and was tender and moist with ever-so-slightly crisped edges. The sauce was tangy and the capers added a bite that worked perfectly with it on a way that really made the chicken piccata shine as a dish. The whipped potatoes did not have a lot of flavor on their own, but meshed well with the pan sauce. At the conclusion of the meal, the check came with an Andes mint. The fire-roasted carrots with whipped tahini were unreal. Tender without being mushy, smoky, and absolutely packed with flavor. I ate most of the plate and regret nothing. The empanadas were buttery, soft and flaky with a chimichurri sauce I would've happily put on everything. My Campfire Atlantic Salmon was the star--perfectly cooked with this incredible smoky, citrusy flavor that carried through the whole plate. Even the kale had me excited, which feels like an accomplishment. The artichoke au gratin was creamy, loaded with artichokes, and had a great crunchy texture on top. For food, I had the porterhouse steak, which is meant to be shared rather than an individual serving. It was definitely a generous portion because I still had enough to take leftovers home!
