Great service, great atmosphere, and great comfort food. Always a great place for a good meal.

Happened to be in Brookside at lunch time. Hubby suggested Charleston's and I wasn't in the mood to argue. It was noisy from the gitgo. Our waiter was Eli, who was perfect in his attentiveness, friendliness, knowledge and timing. This time we were seated on the outside of the center booths to the south. DO NOT accept seating here. It's in straight line with the kitchen -- too much traffic. Hubby ordered the catfish platter that he orders every time. I wasn't that hungry and asked Eli to help me choose a shrimp app. As a young guy he said, and so suggested, the Dynamite Shrimp as it was a better value. I added a dirty martini to my order. It was cold and refreshing. I was shocked when my shrimp was served. It was so. . .naked. As an app it would be nice for 4,6 people and certainly served with something; like bread. It's a little spicy. But think about eating nothing but spicy shrimp; shrimp after shrimp. It was my mistake but it's the way they serve it! It's like serving spinach artichoke dip with no chips or bread. Another guy came by to ask if everything was okay. His attitude was rude, but from him I ordered a house salad to have something fresh, something to break up that spicy shrimp. When I told him I needed an accompaniment, he said any side was available and they're on the menu. To which I replied I didn't have a menu. How rude, and stupid. We're in the middle of our meal, of course I ydidn't have a menu! I ordered ranch dressing, my mistake again. The dressing was so watery it left the lettuce swimming. Should have ordered blue cheese as we'd had before. Seems time has gotten to this Charleston's. Kinda tired. The old verve just isn't there. I used to go here quite a bit. Never a complaint. I always forget about money and it matters. This meal, without tip was $70.00. Guess I shouldn't have ordered that martini. read more

Came in for a late lunch and glad we came in when we did. It got crowded towards the end of our meals an we see why. It was a bit dark inside but it didn't take away from the overall aestetic.The food was really good. The plan was to eat there and order a dinner meal to go. We were wrong. The spinach Artichoke dip was the appetizer but it was so good that it started filling me up leaving little room for my entree. The salsa was awesome. I was offered more but deckined to save room. I ordered the reuben and fries, which was more sandwich than expected. It was good but I added the garlic dressing instead of the usual dressing, which made it better. She had the salad and it was awesome and humongous. We could've split it 3 ways. The chicken was cooked perfectly and wouldve been great on its on but it added some more flavor to the salad. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. read more

I always find Charleston's on Peoria to be very consistent. We order curbside there about four times a month.

Brandon at this location is an amazing server! Great personality, friendly, informative about the menu! This meal was an experience and we enjoyed everything! The food was fantastic! Stubbled upon this place after stopping in Tulsa for Mass on our way heading East. The food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. Great menu choices, extremely friendly, helpful staff and overall just a wonderful experience. I decided to try their Ribs (as I'm a BBQ lover) and was pleasantly surprised, in fact, they were some of the best ribs I've ever had, even back in serious BBQ territory (Memphis). My only regret is that they don't have one of these back in Denver where we now live. read more

Charleston's has become the Sunday go-to just about every other Sunday for me and my husband. The lighting, music, and atmosphere are just perfect for two. From fish to steak we're never disappointed. Of course, we love our favorite falling off the bone baby back ribs! That, and a perfectly blended Moscow Mule from the bar. There is shared parking to the sides of the restaurant and street parking in front. The inside was open with darker wood and lower lighting. We got a table right away and our waitress was on it from drinks, refills and friendly. I really enjoyed my side salad with thousand island dressing. The steak was good, the baked potato was good but a little too much salt on the outside of the potato. read more

We waited so long for our food that I wasn't even hungry anymore. It came with a salad, but I wanted to eat it with my steak, so I didn't touch it. The manager came to me and was still trying to charge me $10.00 for it. She was very condescending and non chalant about the whole situation. If you haven't had the short smoked salmon at Charleston's then you are missing out! The salmon nearly melts in your mouth. It has a delicate balance of smoky flavor and that rich salmon taste. Then they serve you this cucumber relish dish that makes the flavors of the salmon dance in your mouth! Pairing Perfection . I subbed the side for the glazed carrots which could be served as dessert because they are so sweet and delicious. The ambience is always cozy and warm. Waited 10 mins when there was a bunch of servers yet no customers. A whole other server had to help us while our server was just walking around. Then she finally came to our table just to turn around and go back to walking around. Even the manager walked past us and just stared. Went here a few days ago. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a separate gluten free menu, which I needed as I have Celiac disease. I ended up getting the $16 gluten free hickory burger with coleslaw. My sister had the $18 club salad and a $12 peach sangria. Service was fine. Ambiance was pretty dark for lunch. This would be a nice spot for a date due to how dark it is. I enjoyed my burger. Hopefully they add more starters to the gluten free menu. Overall, I'd go back. read more

This is the best Charleston's location in Tulsa. I've eaten here countless times. The service is always great at this location and the food never disappoints. The restaurant has a warm and cozy feel to it due to the low lighting and wide booths. I've tried almost everything on the menu and would highly recommend this restaurant. The short smoked salmon in the attached photo is my favorite dish. The sauce paired with it is amazing. The vegetables are nice and buttered, and the caesar salad is a great appetizer. read more

I have ate at Charleston's for over 20 years. Over that time their service has always remained impeccable from the hostess to the kitchen. Every meal is phenomenal, good portion and some of the best American cuisines you will find in Tulsa. This is one of the restaurants that I will go to any time without questions. Today is Valentine's Day. I took my significant other for a massage this morning and then off to Charleston's for a wonderful Valentine's Day lunch. Arrived at 11:30 hoping to beat the lunch rush. Surprise, it was already quite full. No doubt due to the fact that Charleston's is great, and it was Valentine's Day. Our server was Mariah. She was attentive, very friendly and offered us suggestions when we asked. My wife had the dynamite shrimp salad, which was excellent. The shrimp had a subtle spiciness and was full of Asian inspired flavors, including peanuts, sprouts, snow peas, carrots, green onions, and a delicious dressing. I ordered a hickory burger with Canadian bacon, diced onions, shredded cheddar cheese and with a barbecue sauce served on the side. It was a very firm burger, not the best I've ever had, but it was very good. For dessert, Mariah suggested the bread pudding which we ordered. It was excellent. Served very warm and it had juicy raisins in it and a delicious cream sauce topped with 3 large blackberries and a mint leaf. I love the atmosphere at Charleston's. It's very inviting. Although the restaurant was full by the time we left, it was still relatively quiet. read more

I wanted to give a review for Charlestons as I enjoy eating here . The staff is polite and the food is hot and tasty. I do curbside quite frequently and the staff gets orders quickly and keeps the line moving. (The cars should pull all the way up when picking up the food but that's not their fault ). Recently had an issue with one of my meals but their corporate and the location manager Matt made everything whole. Everything was great! You must be specific when you go there and ask for Kaitlyn to be your waitress. She is cool, upbeat, honest about food selections, energetic, and made our whole experience phenomenal!! Thanks Kaitlyn.
