First timer... Let's dig in - The jalapeño cornbread started things off with a kick! 10/10 Warm, comforting and full of flavor. For my starter I ordered "Our Nice Little Salad" this beauty was crisp, fresh, and had tomatoes that popped in your mouth and bursted with flavor. The in-house croutons had that perfect buttery crunch, spiced pecans added a unique boldness and the homemade ranch was thick and creamy. I will say I had to ask three times for ranch. I just kept waiting. For our main courses we had the bone-in pork chop. Thick, juicy, and properly rested paired with red mashed potatoes.... Which were very good. The seasonal corn - was gone so quick! It was just so delicious. Ate that right up!! The shrimp scampi leaned heavily into garlic and butter in the best possible way. Shrimp were big, tender and juicy. Unfortunately my rotisserie chicken.... was very dry. I kept choking because of that. I was unable to eat it, that was disappointing. As far as atmosphere... very warm lighting, intimate feels, candle lit, steady energy, attentive staff. We really only come here because my brother and his wife like it and they live out here. That is only to say it is a little trek for us from midtown and it often costs us a toll. Oops! I recommend getting a reservation, especially at dinner time. We like to go right before the sun goes down because everyone claps, ring bells and cheer for another day gone! It is a good time. :) The food and drinks are good. What you would expect from a fast casual restaurant. My boyfriend likes the Smokey old fashion. It is a whole thing also with a lid on it at serving and then a bunch of smoke rises from the glass. It's fun. The servers are all kind and it is clean inside. Another restaurant find during graduation weekend. They only accept reservations for parties of 8+ but they do provide an online waitlist which I highly recommend as they were very busy and we saw a lot of food delivery drivers picking up orders. They squished 6 of us in a semi circle booth which made it a tad uncomfortable and crowded but we made it work. Our waiter was wonderful, very friendly, and recommended great entree options. I ordered the lamb chops...not my favorite as they were very fatty. 2 guests ordered the steak and they both said it was tender and very well seasoned. In town for a memorial tribute. Catered lunch by this restaurant. Fantastic! Large boiled shrimp with a perfectly zingy red sauce. Smoked trout spread. Wow! Meatballs and beef dish were also great. Lots if fresh cheese and fruit too. And, guacamole was special. Nicely done. read more

We dined at Red Rick for the first time in a while. Friday nights are always busy. I find it helpful to get on the waitlist offered on their page in Yelp. If you are wanting to dine during the busy hours (6pm-7:30pm) joining the waitlist list is the only way to go! The wait does dissipate after 8 pm. Red Rock is consistent for food, service and a great place to meet friends for drinks in a mature atmosphere. My husband had the pork chop and I had the meatloaf. We shared the buffalo shrimp. I have dreams about the flash fried chicken wings that are tossed in the buffalo sauce. If they are on special, get them! This place is on point. If you are in Tulsa this is a go to restaurant. We arrived on Monday night at 5:30 pm and were promptly seated. The hostesses at the front were warm, friendly, and attentive. When you first walked in they have roasted chicken on the spit, and immediately your mouth starts to water. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the restrooms were spotless. Brandon our server was able to answer all of our questions and made some valuable suggestions. My wife and granddaughter ordered the chicken dish. The portions were plentiful, and the presentation was on point. I ordered the pork chop it was very good, but I thought it was a little tough. The flavor was phenomenal, maybe a little marination may help tenderize the cut. It was one inch thick so that may have contributed to the density of the meat. My mashed potatoes and mushrooms were fantastic. We ordered the carrot cake and key lime pie for dessert. I should have taken pictures. The whip cream on top of the key lime pie was to die for. The carrot cake was flavorful, fresh, and juicy. The toasted coconut on top of it was a nice touch. I highly recommend this restaurant. The manager on duty was Hannah. Got the opportunity to be here during their sunset surprise involving ringing a bell which was fun. Service was amazing and the cleanliness of the restaurant overall was great. Since it was the weekend, I made reservations ahead of time that same day which I had no issues with. My wife and I got the cornbread for an appetizer which is some of the best you will have! Service was excellent, we were a party of eight with a reservation. The server was really on top of his game and knew all the menu selections. I ordered ribs snd they were burnt to a crisp, I should have sent them back but since we were there celebrating Mom's birthday, I didn't want to throw off the other planned activities. The ribs I would rate a zero. I had Key Lime pie for dessert, it as excellent but this is the first time I had seen one that was brown and not the mint green color I was accustomed to. The restaurant had a classy, business casual vibe going on. We felt a little out of place showing up in regular clothes and with kids but, the staff was friendly and attentive. Our food tasted great. The food was outstanding. The server was super personable. And the environment was super chill and very fancy.

Our service was great. The view was nice. The music was a little loud for conversation, but the songs were good. ‍ Our table had the Bangor chicken wings as an appetizer- they were delicious- a little sweet and a little heat. Not too spicy at all. I had the filet with mashed potatoes and I subbed the spinach for carrots. It was good! Also enjoyed at our table we're the pork chop and the pork ribs and roasted chicken. But who in the world decided to completely remove Buffalo Shrimp from the appetizer menu and as an ordering option? Yes, they were taken off the printed menu some time ago, but you could always request them -- until tonight. Now we're told they can only be ordered when "featured." That's a poor decision in my opinion. Buffalo Shrimp was one of the standout items that kept us coming back again and again. I've been here more times than I can count. Every meal here is really good, consistent and on point with the description. Today we had the pot pie and shrimp sautee. I will definitely order the shrimp again and the pot pie, although maybe too peppery for my bf. I've never had a bad server here and today was no exception. Hostess and kitchen staff all work well as a team. I love the indoor seating and typically sit there. However, today we sat in the patio. Not our favorite as the acoustics aren't not wonderful. But the patio has garage doors to open on nice days, so understand the "why" on no acoustics. We are semi regulars here and don't plan to stop. If you haven't been, you must try the roasted chicken and carrots first. Their carrots are the only in town I like. read more

I have been there before and the service & food was excellent. I think we just went on a bad night. Got on the waitlist & showed up right on time. Ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes after our table was ready. They sat us way out by the exit under the freezing vent. We ordered our drinks first, then 15 minutes later an appetizer. Twenty minutes later they took our food order. The appetizer showed up in ten minutes, and about 30 minutes later the main course came. The waiter asked if there was anything else, so we had to order our drinks again. They came when we were well in to dinner. I tipped 20% but will probably not be going back until summer. The only place I have found in the Tulsa and surrounding area I can have a gluten free stuffed poblano and it is MAGNIFICENT. The kind of magnificent that leaves you wanting more. I usually order the poblano and mashed potatoes or glazed carrots. This night I ordered both! Everything I have tried is full of flavor and I have never had any kind of reaction. The hostess and wait staff are very knowledgeable and patient with my GF and food allergy questions. I really enjoy eating here. We were seated in the indoor patio area where we have been before. However, this time we could barely carry on a conversation nor hear the waiter. The acoustics in the section are horrible. Everyone trying to speak over the music that was too loud. We asked for it to be lowered and, eventually it appeared it was as conversation was a bit easier to hear. Service was good from our waiter, Steven. I've eaten on the patio before and never remember it being that difficult to carry on a conversation. Food was okay.
