Disappointed in our lunch today. Several things we tried to order were out including Cesar salad, baked potato, and coselaw. It's not the worst thing that could happen, but was just odd and annoying. Seems like they may have an ordering issue. I understand after COVID things haven't been as easy to come by, but romain and baked potatoes seem a little silly. Restrooms were really my biggest problem, I literally had one butt cheek off the toilet trying to use the restroom. There was no thought given on the design on the ladies restroom, the toilet is mere inches from the stall wall. I was incredibly uncomfortable. Our waitress was friendly and prompt, but the restaurant was dirty and not welcoming whatsoever. We love going to Cheddar's whenever there is one nearby. Pretty standard chain restaurant bwr and grill, but done well at a fair price. A couple of highlights- the Monte Cristo is one of the best you will have. Great flavor and really filling. (Occasionally the middle is a little undercooked, but that can happen when it's deep fried.) The brocolli casserole is sooo good! I order it ever time i come as a side. The croissants are lite and sweet, easy to eat a bunch. Great burgers as well. Food wise, a step above Applebees, Red Robin - and better price wise for what you get. read more

I was so excited to find a Cheddar's in Tulsa since we don't have them in Louisiana any more. It was easy to find and easy to get to. The restaurant was clean and decorated like every other cheddar's. It was great to be back! We were seated immediately by a very kind hostess. Our server was just ok, though. I don't remember her name. Our complimentary croissants were hard and old and our food was just decent. EXCEPT for the spinach dip...that NEVER disappoints! We both got the chicken fried chicken with lots of sides. My favorite side was the red bean and my sister's was the broccoli cheese casserole. All in all it did the job, I guess. read more

We have not been here in a while but always have had good food and service when we have gone there. I have always enjoyed the beautiful fish tank. They do have a pretty extensive menu. The prices are a little pricey but the food is really good. They have a lot of " blackened " southern style items on their menu. I am partial to their creole seafood pasta. Delicious! I have also had their blackened catfish which was awesome. Like I said, it has been awhile but last time it was really great food and I would definitely go back again. read more

So, I have been here a few times and I have let this slide as much as possible. This is the third time this has happened to me during take out. The mere fact they pass these through to go meals is a bit insulting. I almost requested no burnt ones over the phone but I had faith they would do it with it being a a Friday. Well, look what got put in my meal. Let's also discuss them while taking the order seeming annoyed. Saying , 'what else' and 'is that all' while taking my order rubs me the wrong way. It totally could be just me though. I understand you are busy but you definitely can take a second to let me place and order for 3 people. Also, it's covid but why aren't you serving a full menu with a full house that doesn't look like they are social distancing while waiting for their tables in observing when entering the restaurant. Against my better judgement, we Stopped in for a bite as we were in town for a softball tournament and it was next to the hotel. I understand the labor shortage has effected restaurants, most of the tables were empty and we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. After we waited and shown to our table we noticed mountains of food and silverware strewn about the floor under the tables. It looked like the restaurant had not been cleaned in a while. Not usually a fan of the chain restaurants. We were in a hurry and were going to see a movie in an hour. Popped in on a lark and were able to be immediately seated on a weekend. Our waitress was absolutely outstanding. She made the meal memorable. She didn't make us wait or have to ask for anything. When we told her we were on a time crunch, she didn't cringe or roll her eyes. She put it into high gear and really gave exceptional service with a smile. The appetizer came out almost as soon as it was ordered and when one plate emptied the next appeared. Our waters were always full. And at the end she had the check and boxes ready to go and wished us a wonderful day. Cheddar's is one of our favorite restaurants in town. The price point is not too high, and the quality of food is great. We've tried so many dishes here, and so far the only thing that is disappointing was the Cheddar's Legendary Monster Cookie. The place also gets pretty crowded during the weekend. If we are in the mood for appetizers, we usually get cheese fries. For the mains, I like the 6oz Top Sirloin Steak and the Grilled Tilapia and Shrimp with Mango Salsa. My husband would usually get the Top Sirloin Steak & Ribs or Country Fried Steak. We usually pay additional to add a Caesar salad for our mains. read more

My wife and I used to eat here all the time when we lived in the area. We had some bad experiences and the food quality began to go down, so we took a few year hiatus from eating here. On a whim, we decided to give Cheddar's another try, and I'm glad we did. Off the bat the hostesses were not great and seemed distracted and sleepy. Our waitress was very inattentive, and we got our appetizers before we even got our waters...so you're thinking why the 4 stars? Well, because the food was spot on! They seem to have gone back to fresh, non frozen/processed food. The chicken strips were amazing! Juicy, tender, crunch! I wish all chicken strips were this good. We also splurged on the monte cristo sandwich, and WOW! It was so delicious. The meat tastes like they shave it fresh. The batter was great and delivered a great crunch without being too heavy. Even the French fries were tasty and well seasoned. We're so glad to have Cheddar's back in our rotation. If they can up their service game, they are getting that 5th star from me. read more

Cheddars is one restaurant that never lets me down. They definitely are a place that gives you your money's worth. I went in today and it wasn't busy or crowded, which was a first, because they are always packed! The waitress sat me and my friend and her 4 year old in the bar area at first. I was confused as to why she would do that seeing as we had a small child with us so I informed her we wanted to sit elsewhere so she quickly took us out to the main dining area and gave us a table. We ordered spinach dip to start and some waters. The dip came out accompanied with a bowl of salsa. The dip and the salsa were both really good. When our chips got low our waitress did well on refilling our chip plate without us having to ask. We finally were ready to order and I decided on the ribs and fried shrimp combo with a loaded baked potato and broccoli, my friend ordered the grilled tilapia and grilled shrimp with mac and cheese and green beans and the boy got a cheeseburger and fries from the kids meal. The food came out pretty quick and everything was really good. The ribs were tender with just enough sauce to compliment the meat. The broccoli was soft but not mushy and the loaded baked potato was hot and loaded but it didn't have any bacon bits on it. I'm used to a loaded potato having at least butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon. This potato had everything but the bacon! I was already full from the dip and chips from earlier so I didn't bother to ask about it. My friend liked her fish and shrimp and the kid ate enough of his cheeseburger and fries to make us happy that he even ate. Our meals were enjoyable and we were all to full to order dessert so we paid and left. Just in time too because the dinner crowd was making their way in as we left. Cheddars still has the best prices, portions and drinks for the price. It's always busy so you need to be ready for a long wait especially on the weekends, but if that doesn't bother you then you'll be ok. It's definitely worth it! read more

My family of 6 dined in at Cheddars last night from tired of waiting a 45 minute wait at Fish Daddy's which was our original choice. Boy we are glad we did come here. Food was on point. We all love what we had. The croissant bread is amazing! Our server(I forgot her name) is a plus. Very attentive, accomodating and over all pleasant. I wanna let you guys know my experience today at this restaurant was DISAPPOINTING . I'm guessing the manager was wearing a brown shirt at the time with her loose hair long hair and first of all we were seated 20 mins after we got there our waiter took almost half an hour to bring us our drink we got there around five and didn't get served till 6:30 and then my rice was raw the shrimp was salty and when we got the manager she said she would give us a refund and still took another 30 mins to bring the receipt and they took 10 mins to bring a side of corn so I would not recommend it read more

So torn about this place, I work nearby and it's super Convenient for a lunch meeting. The service is just not good. From the hostess to the waitstaff. They have a great fresh menu for the most part. It's like they ALMOST get it, every time. You somehow leave with enough contentment to keep coming back. Example.. Bacon cheese burger, good size plenty of bacon, dry meat patty. Gimme a basket of crispy Chicken Tenders and some of Cheddar's tangy honey mustard and i'm in heaven! I always get the Chicken Tender basket, found in the appetizer section, b/c it comes with fries and it's a *slightly* smaller portion that the Chicken Tender Platter. All of the salads come with these awesome honey croissants - you can order them by themselves too....get some! So fluffy and good! Cheddar's used to have these amazing, fattening, cheesy waffle fries called 'Idaho Nachos'. They really need to bring them back! It was a huge pile of waffle fries covered in melted shredded cheese, seasoned ground beef, jalapenos, onions, and sour cream....mmmm! Anyway, back to what they actually have! The drinks are pretty good, and the prices aren't too bad. Mudslides and banana daquiris....mmm! Not together though.... Don't get a burger if you can help it. I think that I was one of Cheddars's first customers when they opened. I moved away for awhile and what I saw when I came back was so disappointing. This was my go to place for a quiet drink and a quick appetizer. It used to be a clean well run restaurant with a great bar. Tonight, not the case. There is food all over the floor, dropped silverware, table and bar tops uncleaned, it's a mess. Then the food came. Omg, it's the best. As always the food was awesome.
