This a great local pub with lots of personality! Very friendly service and seems like they have lots of regulars. Their food is good too. We shared the appetizer platter with fried green beans, onion rings, and Ruben egg rolls. I had fish and chips. The fish was delicious. My husband had wings and it enjoyed them. The veggies were wicked fresh. We took an order of wings home for our teenager and he enjoyed them too. The inside has lots of sports memorabilia and has a fun atmosphere. We were looking for a nice happy hour for some appetizers. My wife and I ordered wings with celery. When they were delivered, the wings were way overcooked and the celery was brown and disgusting looking. I showed the waitress the celery in the basket and she took them away. When she came back, she asked if we wanted a different side - I replied no - I just didn't want to pay an upcharge for celery we refused to eat. She responded "don't worry, it's included" so I gave her my card. Turns out, we were charged a dollar for the celery. BAD EXPERIENCE. TERRIBLE WINGS. Don't eat here. read more

Love this unique bar in downtown Jenks! It has a charming old school yet casual vibe and is a nice change from other local bars. I found it from searching "patio bars" near me. The bar itself has about 7-8 seats around it, so not large, but there are three large flat screen TVs playing sports (and you can ask them to change a TV). They also have plenty of high top tables and chairs on the first floor with a couple of other TVs spread out. Upstairs, there is a small pool room and rail seating that faces three other large flat screen TVs hanging from the ceiling. The patio is cool and mostly private with about 6-7 tables. If you like soft pretzels, you will LOVE their house made soft pretzel. It's not the dried out ballpark pretzel. Theirs is super soft, salted, and comes with two nicely sized sides of white queso (which is also fantastic!). George's deep dish nachos with ground beef added were HUGE and delicious! My husband and I were completed stuffed and could not finish them all. Ample meat included. We paid $7.50 per drink (Jack and Coke and Deep Eddy/soda). Bartender was friendly. It was not too busy on a Sunday evening, but they said it's packed on weekend nights. We will go back! read more

We've been coming to George's for several years. After the Jenks homecoming parade, we were hanging out there with our two kids just as we have in the past. The place was flooded with families as it is with each nearby Jenks event. My two boys went upstairs to see if any of their friends were there. After a few minutes, they came back down looking defeated. Then my youngest tells us that "a guy who works here called us f'ing idiots" I asked him to show me who it was, and he points out the OWNER, Corey. We called Corey over, asked him about what he said, and he told my son "I don't know what you think you heard." Admitting it would've allowed room for a little respect. I understand he was upset because some kids had broken something upstairs, but I was unhappy to say the least. Unacceptable and disgusting. My boys won't ever forget that. read more

We got chips and queso to start, a burger with fries and a chicken wrap with fries. Our tab was charged $10.50 for "chips and" then 2$ for queso.. when it should have all been 10.50 combined according to the menu. I asked our server about it and she said the queso was an extra 2$. So I asked to see the menu. She returns with a dollar bill saying she talked to her manager and the queso should only be 1$.. I again asked to see the menu. She brings me the menu with an attitude and of course she was wrong again. She overcharged me 2$! So I look at our tab again and she charged 1$ for the chicken to be battered.. the menu does not say anything about an extra charge for that either. Love the food, I've been coming here for a while, but tonight the blonde female manager was here off duty I guess and she openly yelled at me on the patio because she wasn't watching her little boy and he kept coming up to me. VERY odd experience. I was very shaken up by the whole thing, and asked my waiter about it. He said he would take care of it but I still paid full price for my meal. The other manager saw it happen and he actually defended her behavior saying "she was just drunk". If that's how the managers here treat their customers then I will not be back. read more

Went on a Sunday evening and ordered a patty melt which was Sunday special. Waiter/bartender said the were out of fries. We said that's okay we'll get onion rings. He said they were also out of onion rings. But we could have any other side without an up charge. Great, so I got sweet potato fries. When my order came out, it wasn't the patty melt but a sloppy George. Supposed to be like a sloppy Joe. I couldn't even eat it it was so bad. It was like they took a bottle of craft barbecue sauce and added a little meat and poured it over a bun so you had to eat it with a fork and knife. It was very sloppy for sure. But I couldn't get past the taste because all you could taste was barbecue sauce. I couldn't eat it at all and the waiter never asked why I didn't touch the sandwich. Came here after a lovely evening listening to live music at Maggie's at 9:30 PM on a Wednesday! The worst customer service I have ever experienced in Tulsa area by far!!!! The entire working staff was drinking and could barely say hello! I will never come here again and will warn friends and family to not come in! I waited for 2 visits before I rated this "Jenks Institution". I really want to love this place. As a bar, it's a great place. Decent interior, but the bar prices are kind of expensive. Well vodka was like $7 but they had a spiked water for $5, which I liked and was a reasonable price. Service was really good and we were there right at the start of a busy time with a needy group of 7. The waitress didn't miss a beat let a lone an order. But unfortunately food wise, this place definitely needs improvement. We ordered several apps including the pretzel, fried green beans, and fried mushrooms. The pretzel had mold on the inside!! I thought we were safe w fried food but the mushrooms were the smallest things I've ever seen. All of the other food that we ordered seemed pretty basic maybe even sub par. read more

We love George's Pub. The pub atmosphere is so fun-lots of tv's to watch sports at the bar and around the whole place. The people that work there are so personable and seem to love their job. The food is outstanding-they have a small kitchen so not a huge menu but everything I have had there has been really good. I hear this is the hangout in the fall when it is time for the Jenks football games. This is located in downtown Jenks. We love it year round. It is especially nice when the weather is good because they have outdoor seating. Also a small upstairs area. Sometimes they will have bands come in and play. We like to go on Tuesdays for Taco Tuesday and Wednesdays for hamburger night. Last Tuesday we had chips and more chips with salsa and guacamole-yum! Then I had the beef tacos-the taco night comes with a Tecate beer-but I am not really a beer drinker so gave that to others. They have a good wine selection and a full bar. What a great neighborhood pub! I wish it were in my neighborhood. We had been to George's once before during a food truck event in downtown Jenks. We returned recently for drinks before dinner. George's is a true pub with some authentic decor. We sat at the bar and the service was super friendly and efficient. But, when will I learn not to order cocktails at a beer bar? I ordered an apply-mule first and was told they were out of fresca but they would persevere and make me one anyway. Fresca? It was still refreshing and drinkable. I then went with a strawberry sunrise that was so sweet it should have been a dessert. The Hubs enjoyed his brews though! We had some fried pickles as an app and they were good for bar food. We saw this from the street while trying to orient ourselves to our new home. We walked in and the pub had a very Wisconsins-ee feel to it. The waitress stated it was an "English Style Pub". Love the atmospher. Haveing been living in Wisconsin we know our pub grub. Their fried cheese cubes are okay, the batter is thicker than it should be. My honey ordered their classic burger and I had the Philly Steak with mushrooms. Our sandwhiches were over done and way dry. Big frowny face! We weren't charged for the sandwiches which is cool. The potatoe straws are pretty darn good though. Real good, like sinful good. Drinks are good, they have a variety and seem knowledgable about their drinks. Visited on Sunday night to catch up with a friend. I had noticed its growing popularity and heard a couple of friends mentioned it years back. Better late than never, would you say ? Anyway I was hoping for a proper Continental pub like White Lion (69th & Canton) in a neighborhood setting [Reminder to self: review White Lion!]. However I thought the beer choices were lacking. For example: - They were out of the one Amber Ale they offered on tap. Other than Guinness, there was nary a proper continental beer to be found. Moreover I thought the tap rotation was a little heavy on wheats/ fruity style beer. - They were also out of another hoppy beer from the bottled menu. Now to the good -- Spicy hummus was good. Bartender hustled to all the high tops (but reminded me of Amanda S's review). Looks like they have a decent patio for music; lots of flat screens for you proper footballers. I just didn't find anything special that will pull me back anytime soon. read more

Outstanding food! Fish and Chips are best in town only one Irish restaurant even comes close. I also think the Burger's are the best in the Tulsa area.
