George's Pub is a fun sports bar and has lots of TVs for you to catch any and every game you might be interested. It's really close to the school in Jenks, so a lot of parents come hangout here while their kiddos are at the football games on Friday nights for some adult fun. They also have awesome trivia on Thursday nights through Questionable Company, which is always fun. There's a lot to do here even if you're not that sporty--they have a super cute patio with great lights all across it, an upstairs with a part room and a pool table and really good bar food. Lots of options that will fit every taste, though I usually stick with wings and mozzarella sticks! Definitely a more South Tulsa/Jenks crowd, but a super fun place any day of the week! read more

Who knew Jenks, America, the ANTIQUE CAPITAL OF OKLAHOMA, had this little gem right off of Main Street? George's is a cool bar with lots to do. It attracts an older crowd than most places, but it's a good mix of lots of different people! We didn't eat much (one friend got the burger and fries and another had the fried pickles and both were enjoyed) but we did have an appetizer of chips and queso. The queso is probably a really basic recipe you could make in your own kitchen, but it's REALLY, REALLY good. Downstairs is the actual bar and restaurant, with lots of TVs for football games. There's also a jukebox - I think they're usually really annoying, but some people like them. Even if you do hate them, there are other places to go! For starters, there's a patio - we didn't use it, but quite a few people did. Instead, we went upstairs. On the second story they have darts, pool, and a few arcade games. It was much quieter but there were still people around so it was a fun place to hang out. Off of the game room is a room with couches. It's a little weird, but you'd like it if you were stuck by the jukebox downstairs as we were. Finally, you're going to have to do a little work to get service. They're very friendly, but you'll need to put the effort in flag your server down. This is a cool place off of the beaten path. I'll definitely go back. read more

This was myself and my friend and I'd be happy to return sometime! The place has a really relaxing pub feel. We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted instantly. Since it was lunch time we decided to choose from the lunch menu and split the fish and chips and Thai fish tacos. After we ordered we also decided to add the fried cheese cubes and to our delight everything was delivered at the same time, super quick too! The food was fresh, hot and the bomb! We decided to forgo adult drinks but the selection is extensive for cocktails and beer. They have a few nice sized tvs behind the bar and a couple upstairs. Upstairs there is additional seating and a pool table that is free play. They have this interesting two seater electronic game, didn't play it but it looks fun. I didn't look downstairs but the bathroom I did find was upstairs. It's a single so if it's busy you may have to hold it in! Man, where to begin. We we're recommended this bar by a few friends and went to check it out. We ordered a Guinness, and it was unfortunately, a lady's pint for the full-pint price. We also ordered a whiskey coke. The Coke came out of a bottle, and was so flat it had easily sat there for days. We sat at a table for an hour and never had a staff member come by our table once. I leave a review on Google, and am blasted with half-coherent babbling by the owner for offering harsh, yet truthful criticism. First off I arrived at 3:15 pm on a Wednesday afternoon on ,, I sat at the bar and stared at the bartender as she talked and joked around with a guy on the other end of the bar ,,, after 5 minutes she started to cone my way but my excitement faded as she walked passed me and started talking to another woman that came from the stairs from upstairs and I started talking and then she went upstairs with the lady and then come back down for five more minutes and when she came down she said she walked up to me and she said can I help you I said well I've been here for 10 minutes and I would like a beer and she said OK what kind of beer would you like and I said were the cheapest beer that you have on draft and she said we don't have cheap beer here we have imports and I said do you have a Budweiser and she said yes and I said give me a bud with a cold glass ,,, This is the worst customer service that I've ever had I cannot believe that I do not want to meet any and acknowledge new customers into their bar I will not be back this is my first and last time she was stuck up she was snooty ,, she rolled her eyes at me and never came over to ask me who I was was it my first time in our anything the owners of this bar are not very smart I need to train their managers and their bartenders on how to treat customers especially when the customers are new when they can tell the person is not a regular they should be able to go over there and talk to the customer and find out who they are and welcome them to their bar but they didn't karma karma karma good riddance read more

George's is the type of place you want to give 5 stars - cool location, great space, locally owned, etc. but until the owners decide to shell out $2.13 an hour and hire a waitron on a regular basis, 3 is the max. I live in mid-town Tulsa, so I'm never going to be their regular customer in the best of circumstances, but the service here is absolutely atrocious. and this is NOT a slam on their staff (if one employee can be called a staff) - no human can provide good service while bartending and waiting tables for a crowd of 20-25 people downstairs plus another crew of people playing pool upstairs. it's insane that anyone would expect one bartender to be able to provide decent service for this many people. if you enjoy having refilled drinks and not having to get up from your table and go wait in vain at the bar for ten minutes to get your tab, then I can't recommend this place for you. All this is a shame, because they are one or two employees from being a really great place. The food is good, it's non-smoking (!), the building is great, the ambience rocks...everything but the service makes George's a top-notch neighborhood pub. As a former member of the service industry, I find this place to be a real head scratcher. Avoid this place when they are busy if you'd like to check it out for yourself. read more

George's Pub is right off Main Street in quaint little downtown Jenks. The location is perfect for this area and it's just a couple minute drive from the Riverwalk or Creek Turnpike exit. There's a sizable outdoor patio with a stage and two upstairs lounge areas with an additional room that includes more seating and a pool table. The bar has a warm and welcome feel to it and the service is quick and friendly. Drink prices are fair and there's a number of $3 shots available - make it a double for just two bucks more! The food looks good, although I did not try anything on this visit. I'd recommend stopping by for a refreshing tipple while you're out enjoying some of the neighboring antique stores, or you're looking for a watering hole out in the evening with your friends. I've been to George's twice to see a friend's band play. This seems to be the hoppin' place for Jenks at on weekends. The interior is small, but not "cozy". Able to move around comfortably. The outdoor patio is the place to be, there is ample seating and an adequate stage. Haven't tried the food, but they do have a decent beer selection. Everything is reasonably priced. read more

Things I like about this place: - Atmosphere - SERVICE - Food I was a little nervous when I walked in because I felt like they didn't see my wife and me, however, once they saw us the service was excellent. They were always at the table without being annoying. We enjoyed their hummus while we split on burger types. The Angus burger was great. My wife ordered the black bean burger (I think we can salvage the marriage?). Both were pretty darn good. Great daily specials, seems like a great place to watch sports. read more

Went here with a friend for the first time around 11 PM on a Friday. You'd think this would be prime hours for a bar, but the place was pretty much empty and very quiet. There were about 8 patrons total. The only plusses in my mind were no smoking, bar appeared to be clean & had a nice atmosphere. The big negative for me was the bartender and service. We sat at the bar and ordered Titos & soda. They served it in a tall glass with about 1.5 ounces of vodka. It literally tastes like I was drinking a plain soda water with no alcohol. If they are going to serve weak & overpriced drinks, they should ask whether you want it in a single glass or a tall glass. What annoyed me is when the bartender made the same drink for what appeared to be regular customers, he filled at least half the glass with vodka. I got my tab and one watered down drink was 9 dollars. Just seems insanely overpriced for what was basically a club soda. You can get great craft cocktails at downtown bars or nice restaurants that actually have alcohol in them for the same price they charged here! This was a huge turn off as a first time visitor, especially after seeing what appeared to be a different level of pour and treatment for "regular" patrons. I will not be back & guess that's one of the reasons it was empty on a Friday. read more

I really like George's. They have a great patio, which I recommend when you can get a table, because it can get crowded inside. I love the two-story high ceilings which is really unique in Tulsa. But, their bathroom... omg... one single unisex bathroom is not fun at all. They really need to address that.
