Our waitress was great. My husband's food (nachos) was ok. My burger was red! The waitress warned me that the burgers were cooked to medium, so I asked for mine to be cooked. It wasn't! While I don't know his name (maybe Kevin, but not sure) his service was horrible. Went there for the first time tonight and really enjoyed it. Beer selection on tap was good and the food was also good. They could improve by supplying a little more food for the price. Our waitress was friendly and everyone that worked there had a George's Pub T-shirt on of some kind. They just built a brand new shiny concrete and asphalt lighted parking lot because parking on an old downtown small-town side street was not enough-good decision. We sat outside because the inside seating was completely full. It was much quieter outside but the mosquitos in Jenks, Oklahoma have been bad this Summer with all the rain we have been getting lately. We will be going back soon. The best thing this pub has going for it is the atmosphere and the people. Many of the patrons are regulars and very friendly. You can catch most all sports here and the beer is cold and cheap. The food here is not to be overlooked either. They have a weekly burger deal which is well worth it. It may not rate as the best burger you have eaten but you shouldn't be disappointed and it hits the spot. read more

Best burgers hands down! And every single staff member is amazing, friendly, definitely go above and beyond! Love how the main part of the bar is two stories, with a balcony including separate rooms, pool table, etc. upstairs. We stopped at George's for lunch, after not eating at George's for probably a year. The burgers were dry, no seasoning, tasted like a dirty grill and just bad. The service was not great either. Tables and menus were dirty and the wait staff didn't really seem too concerned as she wiped down half of our table. This might be a good place for a drink, but definitely not food. read more

First time visit. Staff were friendly and courteous. I tried the Thai tacos (which were fantastic, I'll be getting those again) and my husband tried the fish and chips. He loved them. The drink service was a little slow, but understandable, as it's not a real big place and the gal that was tending bar was also the server for the entire room and the patio outside, while one guy was doing all the cooking. Still, it's a really chill place. I could keep a conversation, enjoy our meals and have good drinks. I do recommend. read more

We went here for a happy hour after a long week. Even though there we no drink specials it didn't matter because it was so cheap! Good beer selection and great atmosphere. My friends and I share the chicken nachos and the pulled pork quesadilla. Both were fantastic! I will definitely go back to George's next time I am in town. read more

I'll rate George's for what it is and that's a pub and not a 5 star restaurant. They have a good but small selection of domestic and import draft beers plus the traditional spirits. If it is very busy it may take a little longer than usual to get your order but the staff always asks if you want something as they pass by your table. I've always encountered good crowds there who mind their own business or make casual conversation if you're at the bar. It is in Jenks so the clientele seems to always be a good crowd. The food is great, especially the spicy fish tacos and spicy hummus. I wouldn't classify this as a dive bar, it reminds me of the typical no frills pubs that I frequented in the UK . read more

Yelp states "no" for the category "good for kids", but there wasn't anything telling our family that kids aren't even allowed in the door. How embarrassing it was to have people call out to us that we had to leave as soon as we began walking in. I tried to message the business, but this one does not have that option. The other pub (on Main) had a sign on the door, at least. Since we didn't eat there, though, I couldn't give it a bad review. I just wish that experience hadn't been a part of our very long day. When the weather is nice they have great bands outside which make it a good place to kick back. Upstairs they have pool and darts and a room you can rent out for parties. They also have Wi-Fi. I was in town working on feature film and my cousin highly recommend this place to our cast and crew. Our cast and crew were people from all over the US and world - with some well known actors, producers and film crew and we were treated absolutely awful. We just finished a long work week and went to George's to have some fun... some of us weren't drinking including myself and at 1:45 they started screaming GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE and a waitress named Krista or kirsti smacks a drink out of one of our actors hands after he had been ordering drinks from her and tipping her well. Needless to say this didn't go over well with our people and a fight almost broke out-- the management was soooooo incredibly rude to us and I'm sure we spent 100s and 100s of dollars there. Sucks for them because we are still filming in this area and won't take our business there... I'm sad for the people who live out of state and out of the country as this left a bad taste in their mouths about Oklahoma and its people. Sad! read more

Nice local pub. I sat at the bar and ordered a couple of IPA beers and wings. I prefer my beer ice cold; these were cool but not real cold. On the other hand the wings were hot and very good.
