Mark got us seated quickly & comfortable while Lysa took very goods care of us for our first time there. The cinnamon rolls (including the pecan ones) were PHENOMENAL. They tasted too good, didn't have a chance to snag a picture. Had my first visit for breakfast. It was average. Sausage and eggs are pretty similar at most breakfast restaurants. However, I found the prices seem much higher than other breakfast restaurants I usually visit. Service was just ok. $13 for a sausage and egg breakfast is much higher than every other breakfast restaurant I have been to in the area. $14.50 if you would rather have bacon. DeLane provided amazing customer service, because it was our first visit we received one cinnamon roll for free. If you're planning a visit and are eyeing the phenomenal cinnamon rolls, be sure to arrive before 11am the bakers bake the rolls up until that time; and if you arrive after that time what's available is served until 2pm (we arrived at 1pm we received 2 of the last 4 that were available.) GREAT breakfast last Thursday with Erika! I was so busy enjoying my vacation, I forgot to post! She offered a cinnamon roll since it was my first time! I had to share it with my friends grandson because it was huge and ooey gooey decadent! YUM!! The coffee was good, which is a must for a diner type restaurant! I would know, too, because. I drink it black! Refills were frequent and pleasantly offered. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito with hash browns and 2 biscuits with sausage gravy, I honestly can't tell you which part was best, because every part was best. The chorizo was plentiful, and this gorgeous burrito filled with eggs and vegetables and cheese. The hashbrowns were exactly how you would expect them crunchy on the top and soft and tender inside. The biscuits, oh my goodness, the biscuits huge, and, dense but fluffy and that sausage gravy was lick the plate good. It is rare that I can't finish a meal having only had a quarter of that cinnamon roll but I left a third of my burrito and one full biscuit with gravy, and was so pleasantly stuffed! My friend had a vegetarian omelette or vegetable omelette, in my brain it's the same thing. And her grandson had what we lovingly laughed at as the old man's breakfast, bacon and eggs with hash browns, a biscuit with gravy, and a cup of coffee. We all left happy. Erika really was efficient and pleasant and checked on us a few times without being intrusive. I highly recommend this place for breakfast if you're in the Tulsa area. read more

This restaurant has been open since 1918 and has 130 made from scratch items including the English muffin for my Eggs Benedict. They also grind their own hamburger meat in house. This was a rare find and I will return to try the lunch. My eggs benedict was perfect and the homemade english muffins were delicious. The Ham and eggs were spot on and this is some of the best biscuits and gravy ever made. The restaurant was just getting busy and from what I hear it is usually very busy. Today was a very nice calm atmosphere and they gave us probably the one of the greatest waitresses, her name is Cassie. Cassie was not only great at her job but very informative about the menu and restaurant history. To top the cake on this already great experience they gave us a free cinnamon roll since it was my first visit and it was delectable. I wish I'd had room to finish it all. It was my first experience with Savoy. I know they've been around Tulsa forever and believe they have had a very good reputation so I thought I'd give it a try. I went for breakfast in the morning and ordered an omelette. The omelette was somewhat greasy or oilyand there were way too many hashbrowns but overall it was ok. I was surprised at how much it cost ($20 including coffee plus tip). I know it's not their fault but prices are going up way too high. Won't go back, however. read more

My daughter had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were delicious almost like a hot cookie. Wow! I can't believe I have never eaten here. We used to live by this restaurant. Just went for brunch on a Sunday. There was a line outside but it was very organized-you took a number and you could easily tell where you were in line by seeing what was the last number seated. We didn't wait long. The servers were fast and friendly. I had scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and biscuits and gravy-the biscuits and gravy were huge (took one and a half out of 2 home!) and so so good. The coffee was good and I loved how they had real half and half. My husband got a patty melt and he loved it. My DIL got a quiche. My son got a burger and fried potatoes. Everyone was happy and we had leftovers to take home. Highly recommend. Oh and they have take out options too. We have some friends that deliver the cinnamon rolls on Christmas to their friends. If I could give negative stars I would. First the prices have went up much more than this place is worth. We ordered coffee to drink and the cup they brought me had stuff floating in it. The manager told me it was from the coffee maker and not a dirty cup. When I ordered the coffee I asked for Splenda and creamer and when the coffee came I had neither and had to ask again. I was brought half and half and not offered anything else. The waitress hit me in the knee with her tray. We came and they waited on two people that came in after us before trying to take our order. When in Tulsa, we usually eat our breakfast at the hotel, but sometimes we want a good restaurant breakfast. We have several favorite places but decided to give this respected establishment a try. We were not disappointed! My lady had classic bacon and eggs, I had the chorizo skillet. Both were delicious! The coffee is superb and the wheat toast was exceptional. We had a young lady as our waiter and she was the best ever. Pleasant, friendly, and engaging. She told a manager that it was our first visit and they brought us a complementary famous cinnamon roll. I've been a longtime visitor to Savoy. I love the local feel and the community vibe, but this morning, I was startled by the cost of my meal. I had Eggs Benedict with the sauce on the side. It came with a bowl of fruit. I also ordered a Dr. Pepper. $15 for just the food. I get that things have gotten more expensive, but I could get more food for the same price at another breakfast location. Now before you say anything about shopping small businesses and inflation, yes I know. Things are pricey, but this is just absurd. And an extra $1 for a to go drink? I guess this hole in the wall diner will be shifted to special occasions only for these prices. read more

Some friends of mine that own their own restaurant took me to lunch at the Savoy about 40 years ago, I have been eating there ever since. I love their breakfast. I don't know of anyplace in Tulsa that has a better breakfast and the Thursday special turkey and dressing is better than Thanksgiving at my house. They have consistently great quality of food and service since I have been going there. He's even done a good job expanding and updating the place over the year. If you're looking for nothing fancy home cooking, you won't be disappointed at the Savoy. It's very clean, light and homey. read more
