It's a narrow shop, bar counter setup in the front and some two top tables, more towards the back of the shop. The oat milk latte is flavorful. The hibiscus is quite tart, but smells pleasant. Grabbed a small 12 ounce hibiscus and a 16 ounce oatmeal latte. Just under $11. A bit of a maze to get to the restrooms outside of the shop. read more

This place is absolutely magical. Decor is so Great Gatsby in a very interesting old building. Coffee is *perfect* and we tried basically every cookie and muffin they had left. All were truly amazing. My favorites were the cardamon cappuccino and the earl grey cookie. Very quiet on a Sunday morning, was exactly what I wanted on mother's day with my family. Nice barista working the day we were there, helpful with choices. She pulled some excellent shots that day. The outdoor space was covered in bird poop, so if you're wanting to sit outside, skip that. The inside is so fun anyway. We are not from Tulsa but everyone recommended this to us and I can see why, it's legendary. Plan to return every time we are in town again. read more

I've seen the bags of coffee at Whole Foods but I hadn't ever gotten to visit the Tulsa-based coffee shop until now. Opening the heavy wooden door with glass panes trimmed in gold, I can't recall if there was old fashioned bell that rang, but in my memory it rings as we walk into a world which emulates a West Village coffee shop experience in NYC. Greeted by a sophisticated white tile beneath my feet, walls draped in black paint and finishes of gold everywhere, my senses this being an Oklahoma business were challenged in every way. The sweet smell of coffee envelopes the air, an older gentleman sitting at the bar, reading his paper with his papillion dog content as can be sleeping on the corner bar stool next to him. This isn't your classic Oklahoma coffee house experience. It's a treat for the senses. A place for your imagination to be set free. Are we in Oklahoma? Or had we walked through a portal to some other far away city? This experience, in the moment I walked through the door, was so much more of everything than I had imagined it would be, in the best possible way. The coffee experience was a delight, in no small part to smiling and kind mustached barista pair. They were happy to help guide us through the menu and orient us to their world, this glorious Topeca coffee world filled with 9 bars, automated pour overs, and flat whites. We ordered pour overs and sat at a marbled table top table near the back and waited. We waited and took this new to us world in. The coffee experience was perfection, just as I had hoped. Came here right when they opened and the only employee working was very unfriendly and not social at all. Trying to have genuine, small talk at the register when ordering my drinks and they were very uninterested. Okay, this is such a cool coffee shop. It gave me an old bar/subway feel. Moody colors, but bright and welcoming. There were a few people working on their laptops. We popped in for a coffee before our road trip, and the clientele did not appreciate adorable toddlers' laughter. I feel sorry for them. The barista was so friendly and was funny. The coffee tastes great! I got a latte with 2 sugar in the raw packets added. The shop connects to this beautiful old building. It was fun to wander in its echo hallways, brass elevators, and bright chandeliers. I would definitely come back. read more

This is a really cute place to have a quick coffee. My family and I are visiting from out of town and I found this place on yelp. I was not disappointed because this place is great! The atmosphere is really quiet and laid back and the baristas are very helpful. In terms of pricing, it actually is cheaper than most coffee places and the menu has all the basic coffee essentials. If I lived in Tulsa, I would probably become a regular at this coffee place because it also seems like a great place to read a book, study, or work and is conveniently located in the downtown area. I ordered the lavender latte and my boyfriend ordered the mocha. The mocha was not too sweet and is perfect for people who aren't into sweet mochas. The lavender latte was also a delight to drink. Employees are not super friendly but the coffee is good when it's made right. I did have one visit on Sunday morning 6/16 that was frustrating and almost made me not want to come back. First, he was eating at the counter and using his phone when I came up, so he was still chewing and had crumbs on his face as I talked to him. He repeated my order and charged me more than the same coffee a day before- then made my coffee (immediately after eating, no hand washing- gross). The coffee was disgusting and I went back to complain a few mins later (I HATE doing this). Well despite repeating my order, he had given me almond milk instead of whole milk- hence the $1 increase. They did make a new coffee for me and gave me the price difference, but a couple of the employees there really don't seem to give a crud about their jobs or the customers. read more

Loved this place. It's tiny and has a great Art Deco vibe. It was a chilly day so I got the hot mulled apple cider off their winter specials since I wasn't in the mood for coffee. The staff was excellent and friendly. My only complaint is the location. It's inside the Philcade building which is a cool holding and I'm sure is really convenient when you work in that area but parking in Downtown Tulsa is a nightmare during the week and getting there when you just want to pop in for something warm is a challenge. I'll definitely keep it in mind next time I'm in that area though. read more

Their cold brew was amazing. 1 small complaint I have on it though, was that the people working didn't know what coffee I was actually drinking?? They said sometimes they make it a free for all and just use a bunch of mixes of coffee in it, or sometimes it is a regular roast of theirs. At a coffee shop especially, I want to know what I am drinking so I can try to pick up on flavors. I get they were busy, but they didn't make an effort to see what I was drinking. That being said, the taste was absolutely awesome. One of my more liked cold brews I have had since being in Tulsa. Smooth to start, but a rich finish at the end. I know most people give this place 5 stars, and I honestly want to because It was extremely good, but I had a couple of complaints, and I will never give a perfect review if I have any complaints, because by having a complaint, the place is not perfect! That being said, the wait was worth it, yes it's small, but the taste is awesome, food looked great even though I didn't eat any, and there is a reason that Topeca ships all over the place. Great latte. Very good sandwich. This places picks up a decent amount of pre-work hours breakfast business so it gets surprisingly busy for a town like Tulsa. Lots of suits here. I had a really good latte. Rich, creamy, bold flavor. Very good. The "Sandwich Number 2" was quite large and more than enough for breakfast with an egg patty, melted cheese and a tomato slice on a grilled sandwich bread. Very delicious! This is the third time in this establishment and it looks better after the recent remodel. This Topeka location is located in the Mayo Hotel and is such a treat to walk into (off the side of the main entrance), just beautiful. They have a good selection of homemade bakery items (supplied by their sister company Heritage Bakery) though I haven't tried any yet. The coffee menu is easy to read and their equipment is top notch. I ordered the Perfect Latte which is my favorite. I like it because it has more espresso to less milk ratio than a latte (like a Flat White is you do Starbucks). My husband likes the macchiato but frankly, it is such a small drink I like mine to last longer than 2 swigs. The staff is okay, kind of stand off-ish, but whatever. My complaint would be that on my last visit, my husband and I were over charged a drink by adding an extra 2 shots in a cup. We realized it when we went to pick up our drinks there were 3 cups waiting for us. When we told the barista they took our card back and refunded the 2 shot drink but then took the drink and dumped it in front of us. Sure, we didn't order it. But it would have been nice to offer it as a consolation for having us wait and extra 5 minutes to do all the refunding ect. Just good customer service. read more
